Everyone around me was settling down and starting a family, but I didn’t notice until my best friend got engaged and had a baby. Suddenly, I felt like the last man standing. The fun guy. The jokester. The one no one took seriously.
Then Flint called. Blaze and Raven were at a party and needed help. Wisely, Flint called for backup. We were there to get Blaze and Raven. No one said anything about an unconscious seventeen-year-old girl. And no one warned me that her mother would physically assault me on sight before she stole my heart.
Presley
When a shirtless man carried my unconscious seventeen-year-old daughter into the emergency room during my shift, wearing his shirt, I reacted on instinct and attacked a biker in the middle of my workplace. That was the moment everything changed.

Ink is called to help Raven and Blaze who are in a dangerous situation at a party, they find them and get them out but they also find a girl who is about to be assaulted. Saving her Ink meets her mom who is a nurse in the ER, Presley. Ink can't stop thinking about her. Situations keep finding themselves to bring her close and Ink is not one to miss an opportunity especially when he thinks she maybe the one.
A lot more to the story and does have some loose ties to some of the other stories in series. Carbon also is in this one quite a bit which was a nice surprise. Another great book from this author.
This one was interesting. It started out very serious, then sort of ended up being a mad cap comedy with everything that was going on. Also, due to what was happening, there was no big moment where Ink and Presley realized they "liked" each other, more just spending time together and amid all the chaos and they realized it. Towards the end, things really got chaotic, so much was going on, so much talking about things was done in code. It was nice to see how things ended and that the threat was gone for them all.
I’ve been waiting a full year since Dice for the next book in this series, and Ink was absolutely worth the wait — as always with Teagan Brooks.
There are no surprises here in the best possible way: everything just works. The characters feel authentic, layered, and emotionally real, with genuine growth throughout the story. Both the MMC and FMC are written with depth, and their relationship develops in a way that feels natural, believable, and earned. Nothing feels forced or rushed.
The pacing is spot on — not too fast, not too slow — and the story never drags. There’s always something happening, whether it’s emotional development, plot progression, or character interaction. The plot itself is present in just the right amount: complex enough to stay engaging without overpowering the romance.
The secondary characters add so much to the story and truly enrich the world. They don’t feel like background filler — they matter, and they make the MC feel alive and cohesive.
As always with Teagan Brooks, this book delivers a perfect mix of emotion, action, angst, humor, and heart. You feel everything while reading, and that’s what makes this series so special.
Another fantastic addition to the Blackwings MC series — and now I can’t wait to see which member gets their story next.
I was so excited to have a new Blackwings book! I stayed up until 3:30 a.m. reading because I had to know what happened next. There was so much action in this one. I loved how quickly Ink fell for Presley and how he was fiercely protective of both her and her daughter. I also love how the book set the stage for a future love interest for Ariel. The one challenge with this book was that there are so many characters including remembering who belongs to / is related to each other in the family. The author also gives us a whole new set of characters- including the delightful Glam Gram. I was grateful to have the cheat sheet in the front of the book to keep everyone straight. I still have so many questions about things teased in the end, but hopefully we get more books soon! I will continue to read everything she writes!
Ink is book 4 in the second set of the Blackwings MC out of Croftridge. Ink and Presley’s story will have you on the edge of your seat flipping the pages so fast cause the romance, suspense, comedy and not to mention the Spice that Ink and Presley share is off the charts. What happens when your MC President Pheonix’s son Flint gets a call for help from his sister who is at a party? He calls Ink & Dice for backup. When Ink is basically beat up from a ER nurse for doing the right thing, he is captivated. It all goes to hell when they realize who is behind it. The Blackwings will stop at nothing to protect their families. Definitely a must read. This entire series Iis off the charts and I highly recommend.
I still can't give these books a 5 due to the more undeveloped writing style. The storylines are great and the characters are amazing, but it like the writing jumps from one idea to the next without development. Like they will be in the living room talking and then all of a sudden in a car. It's weird. I will say, the poop scene had me laughing so much. I need a chart to keep these characters straight...lo.l
So much happens in this book that it’s hard to put down. The story holds your interest. The attraction and chemistry between Ink and Presley starts out slow and builds over time. Ink’s relationship with Ariel (Presley’s daughter) also starts slow and builds over time. It’s such a good book that I wish there was more to read. Especially because the epilogue with Ink is way, way, way too short.
I binge read this book and still wanted more of it! Ink and Presley have a instant connection and great chemistry and I love it! Ariel is a great addition as the daughter of Presley. I don't want to say to much about the story plot but I definitely recommend reading this. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!! 5/5'S⭐ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
I love the whole Blackhawk world. This string of books/time/characters has become a favorite though. I knew after reading Dice that I really wanted to see what happened with Ink. I was not disappointed. At all. Best one yet. The end was truly amazing.
It was a great story. I loved all the characters. Loved the main characters. The MMC and FMC were perfect for each other. It did take long for them to get together. And I didn’t not like the epilogue the last one. I wanted more!!! Poor Jake I can’t wait to get his book! And Flint
Ok everyone loves a comedian. Ink is a comedian with a heart and protective streak miles wide. Ink meets Ariel......meets Presley......absolute chaos ensues as Ink falls deeper!!!! No Spoilers!!!!!
Blaze and Raven need their own series. They could be hit women or cleaners in training playing off of one another while driving everyone crazy with their antics. But we definitely need more of those two.
This series is the bomb. Start with book #1 and read in order. I must have missed a few as this was confusing until I determined what I missed in those unintentionally skipped books. Fun read.
I have missed these guys. Always and imediate 1click buy for me and Ink was jusk mmmmuuuaaahhhh👌🫠 . He and Presley, and omg the epilogues and tl end on that last sentence *chefs kiss*
Ink and his club brothers save the girls from being drugged. And finds out more going on then he thought. But also finds a new family in Ariel and Presley. Great follow up book.
Awesome books awesome series!! Man these books pack a punch. So much crazy and laughs. All these couple are the perfect pairs. I hope Jake story is next
I still love this series. Carbon and Shaker are my favourite characters. I like how this book brings a bunch of other people into the book. I wish Carbon did more but Shaker walking in and stripping off his shirt for the self defence class was gold! Phoenix seemed a bit lost in this book. I like the FMC and how she attacked Ink to protect her daughter. She is a nurse so her compartmentalising is probably normal when her daughter was in hospital. I don’t think the mum going missing story line was needed, seemed to be in there just so another thing happened but it was needed, it took away from the main storyline.
