I thoroughly enjoyed reading this continuing story of Ryan, Ana, Otter, Solus and the rest of their friends as they searched for answers of the Kannin and the Formless.  Which race was really trying to take over Earth?  Nathan Hystad has done a wonderful job of showing us there could be so many different lives out in the galaxy.  I love stories that show that we may not be alone in the universe.  Nathan Hystad has given much thought to the possibilities out there if one opens ones' mind to what can be.  Thank you, Nathan Hystad, for opening my mind.  I loved this story and can't wait to see what you come up with in the next book in this series.

Everyone is back and drama and intrigue high. I enjoyed that the story starts with a bang and kept me entertained. Ryan, Ana and Otto end up on a few mini missions to save everyone in this one as they deal with things that pop up. Had to see what trouble and chaos they would find. Plus what the Formless might be up to.

This is an action packed adventure with a great group of characters. It's excellent.

I loved all the different alien types they encounter on their journey.

I look forward to the final chapter.

Ryan, Ana, Solus and Otter are traveling the galaxy with sides missions added on to save Earth. It’s never easy and you don’t know who to trust but they seem to persevere. Will they stop the Formless or the Faction?

In the superbly planned and executed follow up to "Banish the Star," Mr Hystad exquisitely writes in a clever format the next challenges and adventures of the three humans and their new allies. They do pick up a couple of new ones as well. The motley crew are on several missions with the ultimate objective of saving Earth.

The format presents parallel stories. A wonderful, absorbing and compelling story arc.
