I started this book this morning, and had to keep sneaking peaks while I was at work today to the point I believe I took too many noticeable breaks. Oh well, it was worth it. I needed to know what the heck was going on and how the main characters were dealing with 'their situations'. When it ended, I was disappointed because I wanted more. Great job L. Wilder! Especially, considering I never thought I would really enjoy a biker book. You proved me wrong because it wasn't trashy at all. It was perfect...hot and steamy, tastefully done, and although the males were "Alpha" types, they respected their women. I appreciated that.
I love how you started to close the chapter on the main story, leaving it a little open for things to still happen in the next book with Goliath and Lily, but at the same time...set us up for the next book, focusing other characters. I will definitely be waiting patiently for the next installment.
The only thing missing is the personal Goliath that should come with it...Can you say yummy.
Oh, and FYI readers, it's a series. So as one story closes, another opens, hence the purpose of leaving you with questions. I think part of the fun in reading is when you are given a chance to come up with your own scenarios, and then you are completely surprised when the author either reads your mind and gives you what you want, or when they go in a different direction and shock the heck out of you. My opinion of course. Oh, and did I mention I want my own Goliath. It was worth mentioning it again.
