Stanford was the plan. One bite changed everything.
Sophie Moran has her life mapped Valedictorian. Scholarship. A future far away from the quiet shadows of Oak Creek. But a single night in the woods shatters her perfect schedule, leaving her with senses that are too sharp, a temper she can’t control, and a terrifying obsession with the approaching full moon.
Then there’s Jax.
He’s always been the guy at the edges of her life, but now, he’s everywhere. He knows why her blood is humming. He knows what that rogue wolf did to her. And he knows that the magnetic pull between them isn’t a choice, it’s a fated mate bond that Sophie isn't ready to accept.
As the moon grows full, Sophie’s old life slips through her fingers. Jax is the only one who can guide her through the shift, but the closer he gets, the harder it is to remember why she wanted to leave Oak Creek at all.
Some bonds don’t wait for permission. And some bites don't just change your body, they claim your soul.
Bitten is the second book in the Wolves of Oak Creek series. It is a clean, slow-burn YA paranormal romance featuring protective heroes, fated mates, and high emotional tension.
This book is better then the first one. The FMC is analytical which makes for an interesting story as she navigates being a wolf shifter. It still has really long paragraphs and descriptions that could be shortened.
