Read your trigger warnings
I for one, now want a brown leather office chair. I was never one for leather, but now I’ve seen the light. I laughed way too hard at this one. The puns 🤌🏻🤌🏻 pure gold.

well that was certainly something. 😂 I don't think I'm going to look at my desk chair quite the same way ever again. The concept is hilarious and Klepp delivered the story well. I am also absurdly in love with this book cover.

Umm...it was something. I've read a lot of sentient object books. Strange..I know. But this one felt off. I don't know if there was a "trigger warning list" that needed to be ticked off or what. It just felt like a scene didn't belong. It was just glossed over and tucked away. Literally.

This will definitely make you look at a brown leather office chair just a bit different after reading. Derek and Ella both love each other but are too afraid to say it. And that ending, was not at all what I was expecting, Emily definitely threw in a bit of a surprise element in there and I was all here for it!

What did I just read?! 😂 This sentient object erotica was absolutely unhinged, wildly creative, and oh-so naughty.

This super quick erotica (you can read it in under an hour) follows Derek and Ella in the most chaotic office romance ever. Ella is Derek’s assistant—and his best friend—but after an argument, she angrily wishes he’d turn into a chair… and some very questionable magic makes it happen. Yes. Derek becomes an office chair.

The two of them have to figure out how to break the curse, with the very cryptic clue to “create life.” And let me tell you… does some filthy chaos happen while Derek is an office chair? Absolutely. This book fully commits to the bit, and I respect it.

It’s crazy, smutty, fun, and completely over the top—in the best way. That said, there are definitely some trigger warnings, so please check those before diving in.

If you’re in the mood for something outrageous and spicy that does not take itself too seriously, this one is a wild ride.

Tropes:

Full Swivel is a very unique and unexpected novella. Emily Klepp takes a wildly creative concept and turns it into something heartfelt, spicy, and genuinely entertaining.

Ella is easy to root for. She is hardworking, loyal, and quietly longing for more recognition from the person who matters most to her. Her dynamic with Derek is layered with years of friendship, unspoken feelings, and missed timing. What makes their relationship so engaging is the emotional foundation beneath the humor and heat. The tension between them has always been there, even if neither of them fully admits it.

The magical twist that drives the story is both surprising and clever. Instead of feeling gimmicky, it creates space for vulnerability, honesty, and self reflection. Watching them navigate such an unexpected situation adds both comedic banter and just enough suspense to keep the pages turning.

The chemistry is strong, and the spice is woven naturally into the emotional progression of their relationship.

This was a quick read that delivered humor, creativity, heart, and heat. Definitely a fun ride. *pun intended*

This is insane madness and I ate it all up.

I have read some crazy stories, but this one has left me speechless and looking at my office chair with caution.

Ella and Derek have danced around their feelings for each other for so long it took a crazy curse to make them both realise they want each other.

They have to navigate Derek's unfortunate situation, but have a little office fun in the process.

It's not all fun though, when an obsessed co-worker refuses to take no for an answer from Ella. This becomes the turning point in their story and I held my breath in disbelief.

In the end he gets what he deserves, and Ella and Derek finally get the space to find their way to happiness.

Tropes
• Friends to lovers
• Office romance
• Forced proximity (curse edition)
• Only one who can help
• Protective MMC
• Finally admitting the obvious

Trigger Warnings

***Please always read the Trigger Warnings before reading a book. This story continues that mightbe confronting***

• Harassment/obsessive behaviour from a co‑worker
• Mild violence
• Sexual assault on page
• Sexual content
• Curse-related body autonomy themes

My Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Full Swivel: A Sentient Object Erotica – Emily Klepp

“Desperate to be seen by him, she wishes her boss into a very tight situation. The moment she takes a seat at his desk, she realizes he’s much closer than anyone could imagine. Sometimes, the hardest lessons are learned sitting down.”

Ella and Derek’s story was definitely a different kind of erotica read! I really enjoyed the way the author told their story and made such a unique concept feel relatable. If you have a strong imagination and love when romance pushes boundaries, this one delivers.

The chemistry was rocky at first, filled with confusion and unexpected tension, but I appreciated how they found their way through the ups and downs. For a short, quick, and spicy read, it packed a punch.

This was a bold and imaginative romance that stepped outside the usual comfort zone. It was definitely different for me, but I ended up really enjoying it overall. It met my expectations, and I can’t wait to see what this author writes next!

such a funny laugh out loud but quick read. Two co-workers aren't able to tell wach other how they feel despite being "in love" with each other. During an arguement via phone Ella tells Derek that a chair would be a better boss. Derek ends up being part of the leather chair at his desk. While Ella gets her jollys off via the chair, Derek isn't able to return to his human form until after he has given life. A creepy co-worker who isn't able to take no as an answer ends up being part of the action to return Derek to his human form. Unfortunately for this co-worker, he will spen the rest of his days as a paperweight.

This book had me laughing out loud multiple times. If you're looking for a quick read this is it. Be sure to check your triggers.

I think every woman's desk needs one of these leather chairs!

*I received this as an ARC from the author*

Oh my lanta,
First thing- always check your triggers

Secondly.....brown leather office chairs...will never be regarded the same again. 😈

Okay here we go,

What in the heck did I just read!? Emily Klepp, this was incredible, and the puns, they were perfect.

This book is about Ella and Derek, both in love with each other, neither making a move about it until they absolutely have to...after an argument and a storm, things change ...you know like turning into a chair and Ella must bring back her man to human form. 😌😉😏

It's a quick witty read, with a touch of darkness and smut. Dont take it too seriously. Give it a go if you're looking for some fun/giggly/spice

Emily Klepp has done it again with Full Swivel. This unexpected, sentient-object erotica had me wiggling in my office chair! Not only did it have me fanning myself, but it had me giggling!

This was a super quick read at under 35 pages; you can finish in under an hour! The book focuses on Ella and Derek and their unusual relationship. After an argument, Derek becomes Ella’s office chair! Not a toad, or a cat - but an office chair!

You can only imagine what smutty goodness can come from a sentient office chair. It will make your work day more interesting!

Thanks to Emily Klepp for gifting me an eARC of Full Swivel. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own

well now I am definitely looking at sentient objects very differently LOL
Who doesn't like a chair that wraps around you comfortably, hugs you and keeps you warm?
My leather armchair is comfortable but not a good as Ella's!!
Ella and Derek have a love/hate relationship...both awkward when it comes to the opposite sex, so how does one overcome that awkwardness, you ask......
Become a magical chair, and all is good in the world. Or so it would seem for Ella!
Of course there is dark content included within the story so beware of Emily's TW's prior to reading.
I have not giggled so much reading this deliciously hot short story, and yes as all good reads go it does have a HEA for Derek and Ella!

🖤 If you’re a lover of sentient object romances that will make you laugh and giggle, and ones where the spice is the plot, then this is the one for you. This one unlike all of Emily’s other books is on the lighter more comical side, but still you should check the content tags just to make sure. It was fucking hilarious, I was dying with the puns. When they finally told each other how they felt, it was super sweet the way Derek cared for her and protected her. Anyways, I freaking loved it! It was the perfect palate cleanser I needed amongst the other dark books I had been reading.

📚Book Type: sentient object romance

This was my first sentient object romance. When Ella is tired of being taken forgranted by her boss, she loves. She makes a wish that changes both their perspective. I like the route Emily Klepp took to make a man into a sentient object. This made me think of the cursed objects from Disney's Beauty and the Beast movie. This was a quick, spicy story with danger, suspense, and a villain who gets what is coming to him. It has clever wordplay and even funny moments. I recommend this fun read, but like most of Klepp's books, it has possible triggers, so make sure to check out the trigger warnings.

Oh My Gosh !! What the heck did I just read ? That’s exactly what was going through my mind by the time I got to the end of Full Swivel . Please don’t get me wrong , I absolutely loved and I mean loved every second of this story . And I most definitely will not look a brown leather office chair the same way again . All the spice and the puns , Derek and Ella’s characters , watching them fight their feelings even though they were hopelessly in love , it really was pure gold , a emotional journey that is so unique and had me feeling so many different emotions. One thing is for sure !! Absolutely everyone should read this fantastic story .

I genuinely have no idea what to say about this book. It was created with such a wild imagination. Never in my life did I expect to contemplate an office chair in a sexual context, yet here we are. I do get Ella’s frustration when a relationship stops being a two‑way street — but still, this was easily one of the strangest things I’ve ever read.

If you can handle the triggers (and trust me, Emily hands them out like party favors) and you’re willing to think way outside the box, this is a quick, quirky read.

This book had me laughing and was so good in the strangest of ways. this book is about a man Derek who becomes a chair! yes you read that right. he can never tell his coworker Ella how he feels and she feels hes always using her for work so as a curse he becomes a chair this can only be broken in one way.

this had me laughing my ass off if this doesnt make you want read it then I do not know what will.

This is one of the weirdest books I have read but I actually really liked the story it was just strange.

Derek likes Ella, she likes him. They have an argument on a stormy night. Ella wishes that Derek knew what it felt like to be used and with the help of the karma gods he does.

It one of those books that's not going to be for everyone and it really isn't one that's been written to be taken seriously.

If you have a spare hour and you want a bit of a spicy giggle I would give this a go. Although with all of Emily's books do check triggers.

Ella and Derek are assistant and boss. They have an argument about Derek spending all his time at the office. One thing leads to another, and Derek find himself in a situation. What ensues is Ella and Derek becoming up close and personal like they never had before.

Talk about putting in the long hours at work. After reading this book, I will not be looking at my office chair the same way again. I enjoyed this sentient novella. Long time readers of Emily and new readers alike will enjoy this book. I am looking at you. The readers who read the sentient door book.

This had me laughing so hard

Only Emily would take a sentient object romance and make it dark.

You know I always wonder why the characters and sentient object romances don't ever question the random object that they're now having intimate relationships with.

FMC figured out really quickly that her boss was the chair and things just kinda spring up from there. I loved the random restraints he made appear.

Of course we know Emily and so we also b have the office creep who gets a little weighted.

I loved this and I hope she does more of them.

Full Swivel is a super quick read that totally delivers spice, creativity, humor, and twists. Derek and Ella have feelings for each other but neither will fess up. Ella works for Derek and is tired of him taking advantage of and overworking her. In the heat of the moment, she makes a wish and their lives are changed forever. There is a dark twist in there so make sure you check the warnings prior to reading. If you're down for an entertaining, out of the box, story of love and passion then cuddle up in your favorite chair and enjoy!

I don't even know where to start with this one - for a 60 page novella, it packed a punch. All the girls in my office are intrigued and I don't think I'll ever be able to look at my desk chair the same.

It was definitely a fun short read - it was packed with puns and unhinged office shenanigans. I might have to send Emily my therapy bill if I start having sentient chair related nightmares.

A quick unhinged dark comedy that makes you read and go huh. Chairs will never look the same after reading this let alone a leather chair. This is by far the weirdest read I've had, but adds a whole new level of to her creativity. This is one read that is outragously out there, has you giggling, and wide eyed when you realize what she does to a chair. It's not meant to be serious but there are still some trigger warnings so I always recommend checking those. So if you want a crazy out there read just to change it up and don't mind the weirdness you got a great one here.
