Moo During the early Spring of 1976, outside of the small town of Vine, Alabama, a series of horrific events transpired.
A local man by the name of Sherman Marion neglected to properly care for his herd of cattle. The malnourished and starving herd, unnaturally developed carnivorous appetites and freed themselves from captivity.
What happened next became the stuff of nightmares....
This book was definitely a wild ride😂 When I read the premise I immediately bought it and cracked it open the same day. It took me awhile to get into since it was in 3rd person pov, but it was funny/terrifying seeing people get eaten by cows. New fear unlocked! But these people from this town were messy and I didn’t like a single person. I was actually rooting for Myrtle and the rest of the herd!
I was a little disappointed by the ending and I did want a little more description throughout the book. The cow attacks got kind of repetitive after a while. But in all, I enjoyed reading this.
Moral of the story, feed your cows or you might be their next meal🍽️
This was a fun quick read that provided suspense and genuine fear…never thought I could be scared of cows until I read this novella. I can’t wait to read other work by this author!
