Stories like Logan piss me off because they start out with promise and then they veer off the road when the H/h start talking about *love* after they have known each other a day. Yet I keep reading, hoping it is a fluke, or maybe the ridiculous love talk will not be in the forefront of the story... Perhaps love at first sight will be plausible as the story continues?

No, no and no...with stories like Logan the potentially clever plot gets hijacked by the constant worrying "does she love me too?" "how could I ever go back to living without him?" (even though I have only known him for 48 hours). YUCK!

What a way to tank a story. Just add an instantaneous love affair that turns sexy and strong characters into insecure, irrational nitwits that can't function "because I can tell he is putting a wall between us."

This story started with mystery, action, grit and a steamy sex scene and then collapsed into a heap of WTF? Like a dope, I kept of reading because I really wanted the story to get better. Take my word for it. It only gets worse.

With names such as Dylan Bad, Logan Wild and Stormy Knight, I should have known it wouldn't get any better. Oh I almost forgot the bad guy named Kutcher (I simply could not think of anyone other than Ashton when he did Punk'd... Yeah, impossible to be intimidated by the villain after that visual!)

Every cliche in the book is literally in this book! And while I usually am not averse to clichés, in this instance the execution fell severely short! I did not feel the chemistry between the two despite the countless "poetic" descriptions of the h's attraction to the devastatingly handsome H... Aaaand vice versa.. Insta-lust without the passion.

The h is on the run, keeping her past and identity hidden. But seriously... I've never encountered anyone as BAD as the h at hiding things..

"So your mom is from out West?"
"Colorado. Where are you from?"
"Mysti-" She stopped herself from revealing the town she was from.

Ehh no she didn't!!! The town is named Mystic! It's only a 'c' that's missing from the sentence!! If you're on the run from a psychopath killer I would assume you'd be on high alert 24/7 and not fuck up such a simple question!

Oh well.. I won't spent anymore time with this. Moving on...!!!

3.25 RATING- Seriously? Sigh. This could have been a great guilty pleasure read for me. Woman on the run, protective hero, instant attraction...The problem I had with this one was that it seemed like every time the author started turning up the heat with a steamy as hell scene the hero would pull back and insist he didn't want to "fuck" the heroine, he wanted to "make love". Geez. Now maybe that would work for a different reader. It didn't work for me. At. All. Stopping to say he wanted to "make love" instead of getting on with the down and dirty the author had set up ruined things for me more than once. There was definitely a thread of cheese that ran rampant through this book. Everything was too fast, too sweet, too perfect...too cheesy.

All that being said, I'm still a bit intrigued by the next book in the series. Maybe that hero won't be so perfect and won't have any qualms about giving the heroine the business!

4.5 "Her Sexy Savior" Stars for both the story and narration!

My first Melissa Foster listen and I'm in love! I understand that this series, the Wild Billionaires After Dark Series, is a little more erotic than her others; and boy did it deliver some heat! I also enjoyed the suspense angle of this intriguing romance. Further complementing the whole package was the talented and sexy narration by Robert Ashker Kraft which helped bring this romantic suspense title to life.

Stella Knight is on the run. After falling for a bad man, she doesn't know who to trust. Moreover, she misses her home and longs to be able to return to see her mother, but knows she can't go back home if she wants to protect her. Even worse, her ex's imminent release from prison--which she sadly tracks with "Xs" on her calendar--means that her precarious situation is about to get much more dangerous and worse.

Fortunately for Stella she happens to be in the right place at the right time, and meets Logan Wild at a bar. From the very start, the protective Logan, who uses his Navy SEAL training in his current career as a private investigator, is helping Stella evade danger. After a hot night of passion however, Logan knows that there is something that Stella (who tells Logan that her name is "Stormy") is hiding. Determined to get more than just one night with Stella, Logan sets out to uncover who Stella really is and what she is hiding. Can Logan solve the mystery before it's too late? Moreover, even if he does, is a HEA in the cards for this couple?

Robert Ashker Kraft's deep and charismatic voice is perfect for this romantic suspense title. I particularly enjoyed Mr. Kraft's rendition of Logan which seemed to perfectly exemplify his alpha hero protective and goose bump inducing passionate ways. Mr. Kraft also manages to produce a slightly higher toned voice for Stella--making it easy to distinguish the characters in the dialogues without needing to rely on dialogue tags. Mr. Kraft's timing was also well suited to set the mood for each scene. This was my first experience with Mr. Kraft's narrations, and I will definitely be looking to add more.

Whether you're a Melissa Foster fan already, or are looking for a new romance author who knows how to pen a sexy, alpha hero and compelling romance, I recommend that you give Wild Boys After Dark: Logan a listen!

Why? Just, why?
The Good
Logan had a lot of promise. The premise is one of my favorites. A girl on the run from her past and the guy who wants to rescue her. What can I say, I like the classic 'knight and shinning armor' thing. The mystery was pretty awesome as well. I was so nervous for Stella. Her past sucked balls and it still had a hold on her. I would say the first 20% was really good. Then...
The Bad
...Everything went to crap. I feel like the Debbie Downer of reviews right now. Not much is working for me lately. Logan is no different. We have nauseating insta-love. Some of the fastest, unrealistic insta-love I have ever seen. Our strong characters turned into cheesy mush as their thoughts turned from staying one step ahead of danger to thoughts of 'love making,' flirting, and serious love talk after two days of knowing each other.

But it was the action, or lack there of that really disappointed me. The whole book was leading to something. The big bad was coming and all we could do was countdown and pee our pants a little with fear/anticipation. The build-up was awesome. Then NOTHING EFFING HAPPENED! Nada. Zilch. Hey, Jennifer, you know that big bad that we teased you with for 100's of pages? Well, never mind, its not coming. Everything is fine now. *head...desk* All that mystery and tension for nothing.
The Snuggly
The sex was pretty hot. Especially the first sex scene which was rough and raw. I could have done without the lovey-dovey stuff after that.
Final Thoughts
I don't know if its me or what but good books seem scarce right now. Logan really disappointed. I gave it 2 stars because the beginning was pretty dang good. I can't believe how downhill it went after that. Like an effing ravine. Not recommended.

So this is a book that I got as a freebie some time ago and I decided that I really needed to pick it up and it was one of those random pick ups and I was instantly drawn into this story and I really wanted to see what Melissa Foster would deliver with this one. The "Wild Boys After Dark" is a series that focus on one family of brothers who are so close knit to each other. In this book we have "Logan's" book who is a P.I. and he comes across Stella "Stormy" and saves her from a man sexually trying to assault her, but she is in much more trouble than he realizes. There is such a strong protector within Logan and I he truly fights for Stormy and getting to the bottom of her fear. Stormy has been living in fear, as her ex will be released from prison, and she knows that he will come after her. I adored seeing how Logan and Stormy connect, the bond between Logan and his brothers and how protective the siblings are with their mother. I am so intrigued to see where Melissa Foster will take this series and what will happen with the brothers. I can safely say that every single book from this author has never been a disappointment, (and is still a freebie if you want to grab it up on Amazon). I truly was endeared by this book and was such a quick and easy read. Definitely a endearing and sexy romance that any romance reader will be gravitated towards!

This is the first book in a new series by Foster and it was better then I expected.

While Logan Wild was a seal his father was killed during a break in and his mother was left beaten and blind. Now that Logan is home he is a PI and while unwinding at his friends bar the new bartender catches his eye. Little does he know his life is about to get more interesting.

Stormy aka Stella is off the grid due to a relationship that went bad. As the days loom closer of her ex getting out jail she wonders if she will be found. After taking a break at work she is attacked and super sexy Logan comes to her rescue. Can Logan help Stella get her life back so she can stop hiding?

All I have to say is Logan is *dreamy sigh* He's not only sexy but a total badass! I love the way Foster wrote his character. The man is used to one night stands but after one night with Stella he's smitten with her and wants to keep her safe.

I loved the storyline and how different it was compared to other PI books that are out. Stella isn't a job. Nobody is paying Logan but he is into her and wants to help. These two quickly fall into bed with one another but want more.

I have read a few other books by Foster but this one was definitely different. The sex scenes are more intense and detailed. Also the language is stepped up a notch which works well with this story.

I can't wait to read about Logan's 3 brothers and to see what path Foster will take them on. This book was a great beginning to what will be a new and exciting series!

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

3.5 STARS

Stella Krane is on the run. She only has days before her horrible ex is getting out of jail. She's done everything she can think of to hide herself away, try and start again. The fear is constant she's always looking over her shoulder. He's found her before, what will stop him from finding her this time?

Logan Wild is an ex Navy SEAL working as a PI. When he's in the bar "Stormy"/Stella work at he can't seem to take his eyes off of her. When she's attacked in the back alley, he rushes to her rescue. Can Logan be the answer to her prayers?

I really enjoyed the beginning 50% percent of this book. I was into the characters, the backgrounds, Logan was taking on this sexy appeal and then BOOM insta-love. Like over the top insta-no condom- love. It completely took me out of the story. I didn't hate the book by any means it just became too unrealistic for me. Love happens yes, but with a girl with that much fear and baggage after being attacked in an alley?

I love Logan's mother's character, how she interacts with her boys. I am looking forward to reading the brother's books.

Sorry, but I guess I am in the minority here. I just couldn't get into this book. I love alpha males, but am not a fan of insta love unless I'm reading a cotton candy romance. Those I go into expecting it. When reading books involving PI's, ex-SEALs or any other type of bad ass, I don't expect him to turn into a pussy so early into the story. I apologize for my foul language in regards to Logan, but I can't think a better word off the top of my head to describe him. I did not like Stella, or really any of the secondary characters either, which is rare for me. I felt that the majority of this story was spent on describing the same scenarios and feelings over and over and OVER again.

I did think think book had the potential to be good. Alpha male, crazy ex and hot brothers to continue the series with. However, this author's writing style is not for me.

Hmm..nothing new here.

Herione is on the run from abusive psychotic ex boyfriend who is stalking her. She flees to a new place with new identity and works as a bartender. Hero saves heroine from almost being raped near bar establishment and makes himself her protector. They fall in lust and go at it like bunnies. Then they supposedly fall in love a few days later. Hero, who is a PI, catches crazy ex boyfriend and puts him away for good and the H/h lives HEA.

Yep, that's pretty much the story in a nutshell. Nothing new or special here unfortunately. I've read similar stories too many times to count.

Holey. Moley. Read it. Partner nearby, optional, but recommended!

Melissa Foster fans, gather ‘round. Logan, first in her darker romance series Wild Boys – After Dark lives up to the promise, “Everything’s naughtier after dark.” Foster’s familiar and engagingly romantic writing style gets put back in the oven in her new series and comes out smokin’ hot.

In Logan we meet private investigator and former SEAL Logan Wild, second oldest of the 4 Wild brothers with oldest Heath and younger brothers Jackson and Cooper introduced later. Logan is carrying around some serious guilt and has no interest in a woman beyond the physical release when he meets Stella Krane. Stella who is strong, but running scared, can’t believe a man like Logan wants to help her. How can she accept his help when doing so puts him at risk? When the attraction between them threatens to tear down the walls each one lives behind, will it bring them together or force them apart?

Foster bumps up the heat in this latest endeavor. The dialogue is dirtier and the character’s inner narratives are just as much about what they want sexually as what they feel emotionally. Worry not, however. The conflict, the romance and the love that Melissa Foster excels at creating on the page and in our hearts are all still there. Although the length of the book is slightly shorter, the faster pacing doesn’t make the reader feel rushed or shortchanged and there is just enough of the other Wild brothers to make you anxious to get to know them, too. The bonus taste of Dylan Bad, friend of the Wild brothers, whets the appetite for the Bad Boys series coming later.

Are you a Melissa Foster fan? Read Logan.

The first things that come to mind after reading Logan are "hot damn!" and "mmm...Logan..." I can't stress enough just how much I enjoyed reading this. It's got everything you want in a romantic suspense story-complex characters plus an overload of tension and suspense, all keeping you riveted to the story the entire way through.

The intensity between Stella and Logan is overwhelming right from the start, and everything between them happens blazingly fast, but it didn’t feel like it was too fast to me as I was reading. It actually felt just right given the off-the-charts chemistry between them.

Stella has demons (well, just one big one) from her past always one step away, and it serves as a constant nagging worry for her. Logan has his own secrets in his past, though his issues seem to be more self-made. Seeing how he immediately becomes so protective of Stella and how he continues to drive forward, searching for a way to free her of her burden, it demonstrates his loyalty and devotion--even if he fell for her fast and hard.

I was glued to every page, and my only (minor) issue was the seemingly anti-climactic conclusion. But, the majority of the story vastly overshadows this little blip for me. This thoroughly engrossing story, with it's hot and steamy scenes and intense, compelling male lead (mmm...Logan...) earned every single one of the five stars I gave it. Now I can't wait for the next book in the series, and you can be sure the moment it's available I'll be devouring it just like I did this one!

Recommended strictly for 18+ due to language and those super hot and steamy sexual scenes.

I love Melissa Foster's books - but the After Dark series has ramped up the heat...A LOT!
Book 1 is all about Logan Wild. He's the oldest of the four Wild brothers, who we have briefly met in other Love in Bloom books (they drink at NightCaps - the bar in NYC mentioned in Game of Love - Dex Remington).
Each of the Wild brothers are very protective of their mother. Their family home was being burgled, and their father tried to stop the burglary but was killed, then their mother was badly beaten and blinded.
Logan was a SEAL at the time and has never quite forgiven himself for not being around when his parents needed him.
He is now a PI, and one evening pops into NightCaps and is entranced by the new bartender, Stormy, who has a smart mouth and deflects all the interest she gets from the men. When she takes a break and goes to the rest room, Logan notices a guy following her. His PI instinct tells him to follow them and he saves her from the guys advances.
There is an instant attraction between them, but Stormy (real name Stella) is hiding a secret past. Her ex, Carl, is about to get out of prison and she is worried that he will track her down and finish what he started...
She is wary of any man, but Logan soon proves that he will protect her at any cost, and the heat between them is raging hot and too potent to ignore.
Please note that these books are more sexy and the language is stronger than in Melissa's usual LIB books. But if you love a hot hunky hero, a sassy heroine and plenty of heat - then these are the books for you. Enjoy!...and there are three more hot and sexy Wild men to come :)

Welcome to the Wild family...
Super sexy alpha males with heart! What more can a woman want! ...oh, there's four of them! And they love their Mom!
Logan Wild (panty dropper extraordinaire) is an exSEAL with a dark secret, one he has been carrying around far to long. After rescuing mysterious Stella from an attack that hit to close home, naturally protective Logan's instincts kick into over drive.
"The best kind of stalker." - Stella
But Stella is no damsel in distress, and it might just be that Logan needs as much rescuing as Stella.

Love Melissa's writing, her characters are raw, real and their chemistry is explosive! ... and this new series is no different ... except that she took the HOT-oh-METER and turned it up to SCORCHING! But it's still ALL Melissa ... funny, quirky and super sexy.

"There is only reason he would bring you here. He's not rescuing you, he's falling for you."

Can't wait for Heath's story up next! ... and then Cooper's and Jackson's!
ohmyohmyohmy ... these boys will Drive you Wild! - yes, that's funny. read the book. you'll absolutely get it ;)

OMG!!! As if I had any doubt, but Melissa delivered again!! I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for the rest of the series. Ever since reading my first book of Melissa's I've been a huge fan and Logan and Stormy's story just reaffirmed why. She is such an amazing storyteller and you immediately feel like you are a part of the character's world and family!!

I love all kinds of romance from chaste to HOT!! This hot and naughty side of Melissa's writing is awesome and I for one am hooked on those Wild Boys. I was so stoked to receive an ARC of Logan's book and am happy to leave my RAVE review of it. Stormy is such a kickass heroine, she overcomes such hardship and Logan is pretty much the perfect BBF, rough, tough and sweet all wrapped up in a sexy package just for us!! Thank you Melissa for again delighting us readers and to everyone out there, if you haven't read any of her books... RUN, GO NOW AND READ THEM!!! You will not be disappointed!!

Boring, anti-climactic, ho hum, those are words that come to mind finishing this book. Stella, Stella Stella or should I say Stormy? Push over, weak heroine who would rather run then stand and fight, also not the brightest bulb in the box. Logan strong protective lead, mister fix it.
First night they sleep together second day moving her and all her stuff to his cabin. I don't mind insta love but these characters lacked emotion and a connection to each other and with the reader.
The whole premise of this book is Stella/Stormy running and hiding from an abusive ex that's in prison but about to get out. Within just a few paragraphs that's wrapped up. I mean really what?! The romance sex not great because hell you didn't build a connection with the characters, no getting to know them or like them just boom here you go.
Whatever, I'm getting tired of ho hum books. My opinion on this book....BORING!!!

AudioBook Review
Stars: Overall 4 Narration 4 Story 4

Starting with a bit of interior POV from the heroine, Stella, the story introduces us to her choices: moving to NY to avoid (and hide from) an abusive ex, cutting herself off from family, and keeping a low profile. She’s lonely, caustic and even a bit skittish, and all of that shows in her word choice. Of course, empathy for her is easy. Then she meet Logan: a PI after leaving the military, this man has a protective streak a mile wide, a need to fix issues, and his eyes on Stella. Their connection at first is electric, she’s mesmerized by the blue eyes and swagger: he likes her shape, her smile and knows there is more behind the bravado.

From first meeting to conclusion, their physical connection is off the charts: dirty talk, sexy moments and full-on abandon characterize these moments. But there is more: Logan is determined to protect Stella, he’s even finding it hard to justify the insta-love he has for her, even as she won’t fully open up and share her concerns and worries. He’s going to protect her though, and she blossoms under his attention: perhaps a bit quickly from the drastic measures she took at the conclusion of her last relationship, but she’s got hope. They shared hopes and dreams, background and concerns, and soon are winging their way to a happy ending – perhaps a bit quickly for my taste.

Narration for this story is provided by Robert Asher Kraft, and it was nice, after so many audiobooks from Foster to try a new narrator. My first encounter with his work, the influence from his acting was clearly present: emotions and moments of insecurity were easily distinguished as the story progressed. A pleasant voice, one that enunciates clearly and maintains a steady pace, what I did miss was a distinction between characters, either in pacing or tone, that would have made it easier to determine just who was speaking, especially in moments that were dialogue heavy.

There’s no real new ground broken here in this story, with the exception of the erotic content being amped up from other works from Foster – and believe me – it is steamy, sexy and oh so dirty: in all the best ways. But, the hero is rescuing the damsel in distress: she’s in need of affirmation as a woman, as desirable, and to reconnect with her life before she met Logan, and she gets that chance here, with the full support of a loving and caring man.

I received an AudioBook copy of the title from the AudioProducer for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

My kindle advertises some weird stuff to me. Usually I laugh, screenshot it, sent it to Becks. Following one of my hundreds of screenshots of these covers, Becks said to me “well, we should just read one sometime, it would be funny”.

With a subtitle like “four fiercely loyal, sinfully sexy, uberalpha brothers” (lol) we couldn’t go past Wild Boys After Dark. We recruited two adventurous friends, and set out to read the 4 books in the series, one brother each.

“This will be funny” we thought, how bad could it be! 200 pages, a little bit of a giggle, a drink at the end to discuss.

Well…it turned out to be worse than I had imagined and really, really hard to read. The writing was very bad and really I wanted it to be over. Half way through I was like “oh man, this isn’t fun anymore”. Skipped over a lot of it because reading badly written soft porn at 7am on the way to work is a bit shit. I guess some people would be into it, which is why it has a baffling 4.1 stars on goodreads. Each to their own I guess.

Logan is the first in a new series from Foster called the Wild brothers which is darker then the stuff that we have come to know her for. It was perfect for me as I love Foster’s writing prose and I wonder how she would do with a darker tone after reading her previous release which did off some sneak peek of how dirty she could go .

Logan is the story of the second oldest Wild brother, all around good guy. He is a private investigator and former SEAL who carrying a guilt secret that has been eating at him for a while and life has become mundane for him. Until he meets Stella Krane when he rescues her from a sticky situation with a customer at the Night Cap who has gone too far and Logan being a born natural protector can’t stand by.

In those moments, a connection is formed. Stella is holding a secret and is running scared afraid of her past. Coming to New York she hoped that she had put everything behind. Until that night when Logan walks into her life and offers to be her protector. Something she doesn’t want to risk considering that she escape to New York to protect her love ones. But Logan has other ideas

As their chemistry and attraction was off the charts and the book reflects that with their thoughts and scenes which are amped up and Logan and Stella story being more sexual basis and complex because of Stella’s past.

I love seeing a full blow sexier and darker book. The hints I saw in the previous release of her’s were only a taste and I loved this full blow version of her dirtier prose. The book may be short but Logan and Stella story has the same familiar feels that I get when I read one of Foster books. I love the new direction that Foster is taking and I love my first introduction to the Wild brothers. This quite jam packed book considering all things and I can’t wait to read the other brothers’ stories .

Logan is the first book in the Wild Boys After Dark series and is Stella "Stormy" Knight and Logan Wild's story.

Logan is a PI, former navy SEAL and the second oldest Wild brother. He is not interested in any long term relationship until the mysterious Stella catches his eye. Bartender Stella is off the grid and running scared from a relationship that went bad. When she is attacked while at work, it is Logan who steps in as her knight in shining armour. Seeing that she is in trouble, Logan wants to help Stella, but she knows this will put him at risk. As attraction leads to something more, will demons from the past force them apart or bring them closer together?

I loved the darker and naughtier side to Melissa Foster's writing! Already The Wild Boys After Dark series is living up to its "Everything's naughtier after dark" tagline. Despite the amazing, mind blowing heat, the romance and sense of genuine emotions and feelings between the two leads is not lost. The relationship between Logan and Stella is intense and the chemistry between them undeniable. Sparks definitely fly between protective, badass Logan, and strong and feisty Stella.

The novel is slightly shorter than some of Foster's other works, but this in no way compromises the story. Foster has written the perfect mix of romance, suspense and hot sex. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait to see what Foster and the other Wild brothers have in store for us.

I was given an ARC of this book in an exchange of my honest opinion of Logan's story.

Loved Loved Loved this book! I have read and loved each and every book that Melissa Foster has written. With this new "After Dark" series, Melissa's naughty side comes out! it was smokin' HOT and I couldn't put it down!!

It starts with Stormy/Stella working as a bartender at a bar called NightCaps with a crazy bachelor party going on. In walks Logan and he sits himself down at the bar. Logan Wild, pure alpha male, is a former Navy Seal working as a private investigator now. There was an instant attraction between the two, as they check each other out. During the party, Logan saves Stomy/Stella from being attacked from one of the partygoers. She confesses everything to him about her ex and what's she's afraid could happen if he gets out in 4 days. Logan, always the protector, helps her make sure her ex never gets out of jail. Since she is wary of men, she fights this attraction between them. But he breaks down the walls she has surrounding her and proves that he is trustworthy and that their attraction and their love for each other was too hot to ignore.

From start to finish, this book was fabulous!!! I totally recommend it!! I can't wait to read about the other Wild Boys when they come out!!

Well thank you for the extra heat. Or at the least the inferno that blazed almost right out the gates. Logan was alpha protective from the start of it all. He back down from nothing but was torchered in a way that hightened his protectiveness.

Stormy (Stella) was exactly as the dual names indicate. She was two different people in different ways. She was sassy, sexy, strong and fierce. She was also sweet, independent, scared, and loving. She was the sweet woman that she had been most of her life. Yet the event that changed her life change her. She became that fiercely strong, sassy woman.

Stella was tough and scarred. Melissa drew the dynamics of a very strong character with flaws and insecurities. She gave us Logan also. Sexy. Hot. Alpha. Torchered.

Narrator Robert was a combination of all the strong males with various degrees of alpha in their tone, pitch, and diction. My drawback was that at time female characters sounded male. Not a strong male but still male or let me say less feminine. Even with that said. I very much enjoyed Robert and look forward to hearing more from him. The male characters he portray are too darn delicious to let go of.

I was intrigued when author Melissa Foster said the "Wild Boys" were a hotter series than her normal ones - because her regular books are pretty hot. After reading Logan, I'm convinced that this book is hot because Melissa wrote it - it has little to do with the language (which is coarser) or the storyline (which is darker). This book is hot because Melissa knows how to draw a reader in and keep them captivated until the last page.

The characters in Logan are both complex, wounded souls. Stella is running from an abusive boyfriend and Logan is haunted because of what he saw during in time in the Navy SEALs, and what he was confronted with about his family when he returned home. I believe these two were drawn to each other because Logan is a "protector" and Stella needed protecting. Even Logan's mother picked up on it - those two were drawn to each other because they were meant to be together.

The language is a bit more explicit than a typical Melissa Foster book, the sex scenes are a bit more graphic and the sex comes a bit earlier than is typical of a Melissa Foster book. But, it is as well written as any Melissa Foster book, it's fast paced and compelling. It's a quick, easy read!
