Peace, Love & Zombies

Haven't read Book 1 in the series yet? Get it FREE on Amazon **COMPLETE 10-BOOK SERIES. No need to wait for the next book!** Nelson Moore, the lovable stoner, takes over the telling of this, the eighth installment in the series. What he shares is terrifying and surprising. After encountering the living dead in Central Park, Nelson must escape New York City and get to his grandfather, Jim Scofield, in Concord, New Hampshire. With his mellow, sweet demeanor, nobody could have predicted what this kind-hearted man went through on his journey. Concord may only be hours away, but plans have a way of crumbling during a zombie apocalypse. As Nelson works his way through the dangerous streets of New York, he encounters other survivors; some friends, some strangers. Compassionate and unable to ignore people in need, Nelson sacrifices his plans to help others. The resulting madness will build the character you first came to know and care about in volume four of these chronicles. Gem Cardoza asks Nelson to tell his story, unaware of the horrors he went through on his journey across the country. Nelson reluctantly agrees and leaves nothing out, from the fates of his friends to each terrifying encounter with the walking dead. If you thought Nelson was interesting before, this will change the way you see our long-haired, scooter-riding friend. Sit back and dig in. Maybe pack a bowl, too. It may help set the mood.

The Scabs Trilogy in my rearview mirror, and Dead Hunger long finished, I introduce Emma's Rose: The Cave! It's my new ZOMBIE series.

It has been a while since I delved into the zombie world. I really enjoyed writing the Scabs Series, but something was pulling me . Perhaps they were dead arms, peeling and gray, reaching for flesh. My flesh.

As usual my stories are character driven. Emma's Rose is no exception. I hope you enjoy the whole new cast of characters, and the new adventure, along with the new zombies.

A HUGE thanks to all of you who have read any of my work.

Now ... about me.

Eric A. Shelman was born in 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas. He now lives in Cape Coral, Florida with his wife of thirty years, Linda.

Life is good. But it takes hard work.

Hearing Nelson's story prior to hooking up with Flex and the gang was a joy! Wow! What that lovable stoner endured prior (to meeting his future apocalyptic friends) was nothing less than tragic. Thanks for telling his story because it provided me with even more of an appreciation for one of the most resilient, fearless and selfless characters of this series.

The best in the series yet!

The authors writing capabilities are top notch. The back story of Nelson will keep you turning the pages until well into the night. So be prepared for an awesome adventure. As I read I often wonder which character the writer identifies with the most. He keeps me guessing since the POV of each character is so different and yet so real. How does he do that? I hope Eric writes many more books because he is becoming one of my favorite authors. To me, that means I buy his book just based on his name as the author.

On my bucket list is to someday visit each and every one of my favorite authors and buy them a beer and just talk. These are amazing people and Eric would be the first one I would like to meet. Anyhow, can't wait for the finale! Great job!

Extraordinary tale

This was an extraordinary story. Most of the books in the series were told from an individual standpoint of different characters in the story. From the beginning of the apocalypse to where the group all made up and forward. The creation and method how it all began was unique and the types and actions of the zombies are unique. All of the characters are well thought out and emotionally driven and will capture your imagination
They are action-packed from beginning to end and will entertain you beyond your imagination. Check them all out

This book added so much needed depth of a character and was a good set-up for the final book.

Apocalyptic characters at their finest.

This series is my favorite of all the zombie series I read. I love them all, but this lovable cast of characters have a special place in my heart. They are like a part of my family. If you read my review of Dead Hunger: The Reign of Isis you will understand. Eric Shelman makes you love and cheer on this group. It's hard to believe that l am fixing to start the last one. I have been saving and sort of dreading reading it because it will be the end of this series. But, l have read and re-read the series so l can visit my friends so I am sure l will continue to visit them. So, you will not go wrong choosing this series. I am off to start the last book.....

Another excellent book my Mr. Shelman. I've always found Nelson to be one of my favorite characters in the series, so I'm glad he got his own book. If you're a fan of the rest of the series you wont be disappointed. If you haven't read the other books, I recommend you start back at the first one and read your way through. Well worth the time, and you'll fall in love with the characters.

On a side note, I'm very sad that there's only one more book coming, but I'm sure it will be awesome and do the series the proper justice it deserves with a final.

Mr. Shelman does it again.

Just when you thought you knew someone, in this case Nelson, you find out the real depth of his character in this book. Mr. Shelman has always brought his characters to life but he really knocked it out of the park this time. This book was a real page turner. I stayed up all night because I couldn't put the book down. It was well worth it. Looking forward to more books by this incredibly talented author.

Everybody's favourite hippy-stoner-genius Nelson Moore takes us on a thrill ride in this latest installment in the series. Found out how Nelson managed to find his way through the apocalypse to meet up with Flex, Gem and Co. You'll laugh, you'll cry you'll be sick to your stomach as you are taken through another twisted tale from the mind of the master Eric A Shelman.

Nelson

Loved the read! This book tells the story from Nelsons experience. Eric Shelman says that there is one more chronicle before the end of the series. I am looking forward to the last one. But I am going to miss the characters in the series.

I loved this book in the great Dead Hunger series. Eric A Shelman's characters have you rooting for them as you get to know the back stories of their journey to where they are now in the apocalypse. I'm going to be very sorry for the series ending as there is only one more book to go.

Oh wow!

Nelsons part of the story has some really freaky scary events at the beginning an ends on another one. There is a good bit of sadness in some parts but it is an amazing journey to follow. Too hard to put down.
