I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. We are in the mountains at Hardrock Park. This is book two in the series. I missed the first one, but I will definitely go back and read that one. Of course, the characters in the first book showed up and now I want to know how they got together. I digress. This book is about Milo and Connor King. Connor is a reclusive mountain man that doesn’t play about his property. Milo accidentally ended up on Connor’s land after a bike accident. Connor, though not very hospitable, helped Milo get the bike to a repair shop. He also told him not to come on his land ever again.

Milo is a sweet entrepreneurial little. He needed his bike for his next adventure. He also had to give Connor something to thank him for helping. It did not seem like Connor was like the way people in town described him. After coffee and cupcakes, Connor could not get Milo off of his mind. This book was very sweet. A very grumpy daddy finds his forever little. There is not a lot of drama. This book just gives readers and wonderful mountain town to settle into with a cute couple. There is a reason for Connor’s reclusiveness. Will he open up and tell Milo the whole truth? I loved reading about these two. There was no way Connor could resist Milo. Boy, did he try. Mr. Wish gives readers that love littles a great book to sink into.

Short but addictive slightly different so hang on you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Connor a grumpy daddy mountain man with a reputation proceeding him but it is a reputation that was given to him what he didn’t earn yet the down misunderstood his grumpiness, grunts for speech, had the town assuming he was danger to everyone, and so everyone gave him a wide breath in fact no one went near his side of the mountain. Milo a little who lives on the wild side for the most part so while out riding his mountain bike he crushes on the very land of the man he is supposed to stay far away from but he needed help and when the very man comes out to help well everything changes because the very man he should be afraid of came out to help him the more time they spent with each other the more he realized his daddy was a hurt man but he wasn’t anything that the town said he was they were wrong but have this broken man found his boy, have the wild child found a daddy who will dish out what is needed to tame his boy, will the town see that Connor for the man that he is, and can they find happiness together somewhere along the way?

This is a Great Story to Read!! This is the Second book in the Hardrock Mountain Daddies Series. Connor King lives alone and does not like to be bothered. Everyone stays away when he is in town and no one goes near his property lines. Milo is riding his mountain bike on a trail in Hard Rock Park looking for a lake to go swimming when he crashes over a cliff and wrecked his bike. Connor finds Milo in the bushes because his dogs are barking because there is someone on his property that should not be there. Shadow and Spirit run to Milo and bark until Connor comes and helps get his bike and drives him to town to get it fixed. Milo comes back the next day with a Thank you gift for Connor. Milo is excited about starting his new business adventure: Milo's Wheels & Reads. Coffee and Stories on the go. Milo continues to visit Connor even though he shouldn't. The more time Connor and Milo spend together, the more Connor is slowly warming up to the people in town. Will Connor stick around or will he go back into hiding when Milo starts his new adventure????.

I think this is one of my favorite Daddy/little books from Zack. I loved Milo and his naughty bunny routine, the stoic, closed off Daddy Connor, brought out of his self-imposed isolation by this charming, persistent impish boy, and the two finding their Forever person to face the rest of their lives together. The book just flowed for me, with a naturally progressing interest to fascination to love between two characters, meant to be. I was glad to see Kaleb accept Connor, giving him a friend, and helping him be able to integrate more into the life of the sleepy little town, and I especially enjoyed Milo’s creative business ideas. Let’s hope this one sticks and does remain successful, (although I did wonder how he would fare on his bike in winter).

This is an engaging, entertaining read, easily read in a couple of hours, leaving the reader with a smile on their face much of the time. Way to go, Zack, this one was a winner in my book.

The characters drove the storyline and they were very appealing and likeable and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. All in all a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.

This is the second book in The Hardrock Mountain Daddies series. Each book is a standalone read. This is the story of Connor and Milo. Connor has isolated himself in his cabin and small town. He is trying to learn how to live with grief. Outwardly, he portraits grumpiness and has sharp daddy instincts. Milo is a little who enjoys life on the wild side. A bike accident near Connor's house is how the two of them meet. This is their story. The book is written well and is easy to read. I enjoyed it and I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Comforting adventure! Connor, lives an isolated life that grows in reputation by townspeople that don't know him. All townspeople know to stayy away from him and off his land. Milo, crashes his mountain bike. Connor, steps up to help and they get to know each other. Milo, is a sassy little pip and brings out the Daddy in Connor. They bring out the unexpected in each other and take the reader on a fun dance of finding their balance. Nicely done, good cover art! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Connor is misunderstood and has been given an undeserved bad reputation. When Milo crashes into his life, he tries to resist but Milo is to determined and hard too resist. These two are so cute. Milo really needs a daddy and Connor needed to let his walls down. This is such a feel good read. Can’t wait for book 3.

Milo is quite a handful and Connor needs a Little who can keep life interesting. A sweet story with a mischievous Little and a Daddy who has taken a step back from life. After experiencing a difficult loss Conner has decided to live a quiet life away from others. This is about love and hope. To take a chance at life when the opertunitie present it self.
