Patchwork Place Mystery Series, #5

Tangled Threads: A Quilt Shop Dog Cozy Mystery

Rate this book
When quilting shop owner Gloria Greyson agrees to teach a workshop at the Seabreeze Quilting Retreat, she's expecting a relaxing weekend of fabric, friendship, and Bev Hollister's legendary crab puffs. But when the retreat's celebrity guest of honor is found dead in the craft studio before dawn — strangled with a length of jewel-toned embroidery floss from the welcome kits given to every attendee — Gloria's weekend takes a very different turn.

With the lodge locked down and forty-three quilters trapped under one roof, suspicion falls fast on the designer who publicly accused the victim of stealing her work. But Gloria knows that the loudest thread isn't always the one that matters most. As she and her quilting circle dig deeper, they uncover a hidden partnership, a stolen legacy, and a trail of broken trust that stretches back over a decade — proof that some patterns are designed to keep the truth buried.

Now, with the help of her sharp-eyed friends, her steadfast husband Walt, her resourceful daughter Tessa, and a seventy-pound sheepdog with a nose for trouble, Gloria must untangle a web of jealousy, ambition, and heartbreak before the killer slips through the seams for good. Tangled Threads is the fifth book in the Patchwork Place Mysteries series — a cozy, character-driven whodunit filled with warmth, wit, and just the right amount of danger stitched between the lines.

Another wonderful mystery!

I love this series where it actually talks about quilting and the work that goes into a quilt! I love the way Gloria solves the mystery before anyone else but with the help of everyone else. And Gus is always doing his part! I hope you keep writing!!!
