Man I didn’t want it to end but I’m glad it’s a part 3 coming! Hopefully ASAP! Again ! So much tea was dropped I’m baffled. Good for Ken. I hope his chest hurt. I think my fav part right now is finding out abt Keona baby hahahaha

not feeling it
Should have ended at book 2. Just introducing characters that didn’t even start in book one. Rayvn not telling Smoov about his homeboy involvement with Purp was crazy. I just ain’t feeling it.

Once trust is broken, it take time to gain it back! Somethings in life are based off the choices you make. Truth hurts but it takes more energy to remember a lie. Love is hard to accept when you have never received it. Secrets and lies causes the downfalls within. Let’s chat!
Javion aka Smoov to me was just a man who has covered his childhood pain with anger😔. He wasn’t that rude and obnoxious person, he just did trust easy and his circle was small. HE just did allow anyone to play with him😔. With the situation being how it is, ya boy didn’t expect to fall for my girl Rayvn. In my opinion he wasn’t ready to admit that she seen him the ways other couldn’t and not in a bad way at all🤭. She actually seen him, the hurt, the pain and the unanswered questions he carried. My guy didn’t know how to handle the feelings he had for her either and the reason he was able to snap at her😔. Oh but when he realized that she been honest the entire time. Yeah he messed up and I hope he can redeem himself. Blinded by pain and trust issues, my guy couldn’t believe the truth she spoke and acted off his emotions but honestly he knew she was his peace🥹. Now as for these ops that are turning on him cause he not rocking with them anymore has me hot😒. Like they are the weakest link especially Keona and Ken. Can’t wait to see what happens when the disloyalty comes to light. She bitter cause he don’t want her and he jealous & envies Smoov even though they start in the mud together🫣. Oh can’t forget about the his dad Vincent. Can’t wait to see what happens with this here.
Rayvn is just trying to survive but in the process has fallen in love. Now I have to say at first I was like girl something wrong with you😂! How you fallen for the person who captured you 🫣 but she seen something in him and it drew her to him. She seen him for him, she see his pain and hurt😔. My girl wanted to make him smile and to let him know that everything is not against or out to hurt him😔. She was a light who was dealt a bad hand in life. They both had childhood pain and trauma😔. Seeing what he dealt with when it came to his brother Jay and finding out he was adopted, she wanted to be the light in his day🥰. She didn’t know and I believe she’ll find out that she was his peace🥰. One thing I have to say is that I love her energy. She been through a lot and in the world alone but she didn’t allow it to keep her down 🥹.
My heart went out to Jay. Ya boy got the short end of the stick of life. He received and lived a life he didn’t ask for 😔. Learning about how his life of drugs came about hurt my heart. Like who does to a person 😒. Oh but knowing that Jay handled it accordingly has me smiling from cheek to cheek. Karma plays no games 🤭. When he crossed Smoov, I was more hurt than mad cause why would you do that to the only person who still cared😒. Then when he attempted to make it right, my heart went to him. The way he expressed and apologized to Smoov had me teary eyed cause I did feel he was sincere but only time will tell. I hope he gets himself together😔.
I hope Vincent gets out cause his son needs him. Even though they don’t know each other the meet needs to happen🫣 so he can tell Smoov the truth and about his life. I feel like the father can step up and assist with this beef. Don’t know why but I feel there’s more to Smoov life and Vincent & Angie knows the truth, especially Angie🫣. Jay wasn’t just talking when he told Smoov that Angie knew more about his mother and what happened to her. Angie was just too churchy for me😒. Like she was holier than thou with a bunch of secrets. Can’t wait until it’s all out and on the table.
There’s a lot of moving parts and new characters so I’m needing an update on it all. See the way the authors have me sitting at the edge of my seating on how this ended🤭. I am needing book 3 asap cause it ain’t no way. I need to know what’s going to happen with Vincent, where my girl go etc. Like I just need more 🤭.

This sequel pulled me in right away and kept my attention the whole time. There was plenty of drama, suspense, and unexpected twists that had me turning the pages to see what would happen next. I liked seeing how the characters continued to grow, even when they made decisions that had me shaking my head.
The connection between the main characters was strong, but Smoov's trust issues made things more complicated, which felt true to his character. Their relationship wasn't perfect, and that made it more believable. The pacing stayed consistent, and every chapter ended in a way that kept me invested.
I would have liked to see more happen during the mall scene with Keona, but it didn't. Even so, the story kept me hooked from beginning to end. That ending was wild, so I had no choice but to grab the next installment to see what happened next.

Smoov bestie got everything that he deserved. He is a clown, and I can't wait for it to come out that he was on BS and is the reason Smoov was set up. I don't understand why Ravyn hasn't told Smoov yet. Smoov did Ravyn wrong, and she's been outside walking for over a month now. Smh, she has nowhere to go. Just when I thought Smmov and her were going somewhere, he set things back.

This book was still good like the first one, but it had to many POV's for me. The first book had a few but then getting to this book, it just had way too many. I still enjoyed the mess but I definitely think this could have been wrapped up in 2 books.

I loved captured by a cold hearted gansta I loved all the intimate scenes between raven smoove I loved all the messy scenes and I was caught off guard with the break up scene and I loved the killing scene and the cliffhanger was a bomb and I loved it

Rayvn couldn’t catch a break at allll. I enjoyed the dynamic between smoov and Rayvn. They’ve both been through a lot. The people around them though will be their downfall
