As part of the Supernatural Enforcers Agency, polar bear shifter Gunner Christiansen can handle just about anything thrown at him. He wasn’t thrilled to have a human foisted onto his team, but he could deal with it. What he couldn’t deal with was the fact that he couldn’t keep his paws off her.
Psychic Erin Jameson is thrilled to be promoted to the Agency’s Alpha team. She’s spent years as the oddball that nobody gave a second thought to – talking to ghosts that no one else can see isn’t exactly great for your reputation – but now it’s her chance to prove how useful she can be. There’s just one little problem – her smoking hot polar bear boss. Just a look from him has the power to turn her into a quivering mess.
Now, shifters are going missing, and one of the shifters has just turned up dead with his heart cut out. Can they keep their minds off each other long enough to catch the killer?
Caution! This does contain swearing (there’s a lot of use of the f word!), as well as scenes of a sexual nature with m/f interaction intended for mature readers.
Under the name E A Price I write short novellas about shifters and supernatural beings, with a little bit of romance, a tiny smidge of mystery and a healthy dose of steaminess! I'm self-published on Amazon Kindle, and write in my spare time.

Hot polar bear Gunner is in charge of a group of investigators, who are tasked with investigating crimes in the shifter community, when a human who has psychic abilities is assigned to his team he really isn't happy. Yet from the moment Gunner sees Erin his bear stands up, and Gunner finds himself unable to keep away.
Human Erin is finally a field agent, something she has wanted for so long. Erin's visions and the fact she sees ghosts have led to some painful moments in her life - her parents letting the shifter council put her in a institute when she was young. The little said about her parents in the book and the short while they are in the story, had me really disliking them and I wish there had been some sort of scene where they had been seriously called out on their appalling treatment of young Erin.
An entertaining little read, one that kept me engaged and fairly amused. Low angst, it's really light.
Some little drama caused by one of Gunner's ex-bedmates, an agent on another team.
The pool the men in the office had on who would bed Erin first was gross.
One or two things that had be pausing with a tiny frown, but still a enjoyable light read I can see myself picking up again at some point.
DNF after 20% Not sure where all those gushing 5 star reviews on Amazon and Goodreads come from...
It had strange insta-lust, not sexy at all.
A very unprofessional but super hot team leader (polar bear shifter) who touches his new human team member (psychic) inappropriately and totally unrealisticly while visiting her after hours in her home...
Nothing really makes much sense. Editing is not exactly up to scratch. This is one of those PNR ebooks...
What made me abandon reading: the weak and totally ridiculous heroine. I am not going to wait around for her sob story. Her constant weak knees are bad enough. Combine that with her instantly wet panties as soon as she sees her new team leader and - ta dah! - I am out of there.
Not sure where all those gushing 5 star reviews on Amazon and Goodreads come from...
I love the idea and there is some potential there for this to be a great book/start of series. But for me the execution just didn't deliver; it fell flat. There were humorous bits and all, but the character development just wasn't deep enough for me.
It is about Gunner the tall, sexy polar bear shifter in charge of a group of investigators of crimes in the shifter community. He meets his human mate because she is about to join his team.
Erin is a human that can see ghosts and has sometimes very helpful visions to help track down the bad guys. She is sweet and very lonely due to her abilities. But she finds love and friendships among her new crew.
There is some ex drama and of course a case to follow in solving. For those sensitive manwhore behavior he is one until he meets his mate. But this is a really laid back kind of read.
I love this book. I have a new favorite author. This book contains every element I enjoy: Paranormal, Psychics, Werebears, Romance, Mystery...
I just discovered E.A. Price and feel like I struck gold! I have bought all of her other books as well, after reading this. Sure there are typos, but the story is excellent and it drew me in and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for more from this series, I really want to know who the 'boss' is. I have a feeling based on where it was leading but that could be a red herring... :) Loved it!
I did actually like the book, but I would have preferred it be a bit more fleshed out. The romance was sweet, Gunnar's protectiveness over Erin was cute from the big lug. An area I would have liked more fleshing out was Erin's backstory- the way her family treat her and how it effected her, and even more information on her abilities and how what she sees affects her because it feels like she doesn't use them much. I would describe the book as a romance with a little bit of crime, so that's another area I'd have liked more. The premise of the crime was interesting, but they mainly dealt with the aftermath and their investigations didn't really lead anywhere. Things kind of fell into their lap, and it wasn't the kind of mystery where you could guess along with them for suspects, it just kind of happened. I feel like it is a bit of a compliment that a complaint is that the book is short enough that I wanted more. Would I recommend it? I'd say yes, I did like the writing style and the idea is interesting.
Would've been better without the 'fated mates' shit and more logic when it comes to the crimes and solving them.
Although, overall, it's just not very thought-through at all. There was exactly 0 reason for the main character to want to be a field agent. She doesn't want to train, she can't do physical exercise or shoot, she can't think like a field agent or follow procedure, the only thing she can do is literally her psychic thing, and it would have made 100 times more sense for her to be a consultant when she can't pull her own weight in the field. The whole set up didn't make much sense.
After the first 3 chapters, I said to myself "what a interesting storyline. Now I'm finished the book and I must say "I can't wait to start book 2. Erin and Gunner's story was amazing from beginning to end. In my humble open, this author is right up there with Sands and Singh!!! On to book 2!!
I thought this one would have a bit more action and I was wanting to see more from Erin’s powers. Couldn’t figure out just who was the bad guy until Gunner pointed out all the foulness around him, before that I was banking on everyone being in on it. Isis and the Director were high on the list but then again so was Wes and Diaz. Good read.
I am reading this book for the umpteenth time. The suspense and romance are just what I needed at this time . the writer is excellent at getting your attention and keeping it. Thank you MS Price. I wish you were still writing.
Great start to series. There is enough chemistry between character for you to identify with and enough twists in plot to keep you turning the page. Love this story.
This was a cute book, I look forward to the next one. If you like Shelly Laurenston, you will love this book. If you liked this book and haven't read any Shelly Laurenston books, do so, you won't be disappointed. ^.^
I think this series has possibilities. E. A. Price needs a proofreader. In some cases wrong verb tense and others words mixed or rearranged so the sentence didn't make sense. Other than that I enjoyed the book and plan on reading the next one. No spoilers here.
The Supernatural Enforcers Agency is a police division that specializes in supernatural crime. Erin is a human who sees dead people. She has recently moved to the area so that she could become a field agent with the SEA. Gunner is a polar bear shifter who leads the team she's been assigned to.
The romance between them is instalove which bothers me in all genres except paranormal shifter romances with the whole fated mates trope. It was sweet and fluffy but was beset by minor issues of jealousy and miscommunication. The issues were resolved pretty easily though and it was a pretty angst free read. Both characters were likeable although Erin could be a bit whiny in parts. I liked the rest of the team and the investigation was straightforward and gave just enough plot to make it a decent read. Plus there were some amusing scenes and funny lines. My favourite being;
Erin didn’t have any photos in her apartment. That thought made his bear unhappy. She deserved to be surrounded by people who loved her. Well, now she had him, and he could surround her. Would it be too much if he bought her a picture of himself for her apartment?
Price, E A. Polar Bears are Forever: Book One Supernatural Enforcers Agency . Unknown. Kindle Edition. .
I LOVED THIS! I loved that it was a little longer of a read than the Gargoyle books by this author. I read those and thought I would try something else and I am not disappointed.
I loved that he was still an alpha, but he still treated her like a grown woman. I hate it when you have books with possessive males and they think they need to dominate everything about the female and treat them like a child. This was nothing like that. I also loved that, while forgetful, she was pretty smart when it cam to getting DNA or prints for the investigation.
I am so happy that the author didn't describe every sex scene! I don't need to know the details of every time they have sex to know they are doing the nasty- to be honest I usually skip those parts anyways. I usually read the first one and that's about it. I prefer the story line with sex thrown in-not the other way around. The author did an amazing job of this, creating a large plot and peppered in sex scenes all the while keeping the detail of the scenes enjoyable. I hate it when authors use the words pussy as a descriptive when talking about sex scenes, another thing I love that this author didn't do that.
I loved the humor throughout this and the sarcasm of the individual characters. I can't wait to continue on with this series!
Hilarious and fantastic books about Supernatural Enforcer Agency
This is the first book in the series entitled The Supernatural Enforcer Agency or SEA. Erin is a psychic and human. Gunner is a polar bear shifter and the leader of the Alpha Squad of the Supernatural Enforcer Agency. Can it really doesn't want her there because she is human.
They have a mystery on their hands, who is taking organs from the missing shifters? How are they finding the shifters? How are they disposing of their bodies?
The main characters are hilarious, sexy, and relatable to the other characters. The psychic is timid and seemingly bungling but really wants to be in the SEA agent. Gunner's bear really is ecstatic over this human, but Gunner has convinced his bear that he needs to take it slow.
This book is fast-paced drama that takes the reader into the creative world of shifters and human by the author. I highly recommend this series after reading only one book quickly realizing that I want to read the next in the next book.
I haven't read an adult paranormal romance in a while that was more than 70 pages and had an actual story. It was a good feeling. There can be a story and steam in the same book? Apparently all authors don't know this. I love that this author also realizes that good characters with diverse backgrounds will make readers buy the next book.
This was good. Human meets bear. Bear likes human. Human shows PNR team + bear that she is awesome. Mix in some steam, a bit of catty female behavior, and a murder mystery and you've got yourself a good book to read for 2 nights.
E A Price is fast becoming one of my favourite authors.
This is another exciting new series with a range of interesting shifter species. Erin a human psychic goes to work for Supernatural Enforcement Agency, and Gunner the polar bear who leads the team she is joining is not happy.
Take one grumpy polar bear, a human with unusual skills and throw in some mystery as to why shifters are disappearing and you have one cracking story. Lots of interesting secondary characters that will probably lead onto more books – I hope!!
Ah-mazing, compelling, and, wow, I could not put it down!
This book was all of those things in my heading and more! The plot was action packed, focused and well put together. The characters were well developed, balanced with each other and clearly depicted. The action was steady, I was drawn in from the beginning right up to the end. I felt like I was watching a really good movie and can't wait to see the next story that follows these amazing characters! Elizabeth Price is a genius and you need to read this book! It was really amazingly good!
This is a new author for me and I am a fan. I will go straight from this review to amazon to buy some of her books. This was a easy read and very enjoyable. I fell in love with the hero and the heroine. I think the author did a great job of developing all of the characters in this story. I could read a new story on anyone of them. It was a great short story without a cliffhanger....yeah.
I began reading E A Price's books last year, when I discovered the Grey Wolf pack series, and I have been hooked since. Polar Bears are Forever was excellent, and I am looking forward to reading more in this series. I enjoyed the gruff masculinity of Gunner and the quirkiness of Erin, and having their story unfold. Even the intrigue of the shifter murders grips you from the beginning.
