Drunkboat

"Perhaps it is the saddest, maddest, wildest story in the whole long history of space," our author it has to do with a very special form of space travel. Our hero is named Artyr if you think that there is a significant similarity here to the name of the French poet Arthur Rimbaud, you are correct! One of Rimbaud's longest and most famous poems is Le Bateau ivre, the title of which can be reasonably translated as Drunkboat.

Linebarger was also a noted East Asia scholar and expert in psychological warfare.

Ίσως όχι η καλύτερη στιγμή του Cordwiner smith, του οποίο βέβαια η γραφή πάντα κρύβει πολύ περισσότερα από όσα πιάνει το μάτι στην πρώτη ανάγνωση. Αν για κάποιο λόγο σάς άρεσε το συγκεκριμένο διήγημα, ατυχήσατε γιατί ελάχιστα από όσα έχει γράψει έχουν μεταφραστεί και πρέπει να απευθυνθείτε στην ξενόγλωσση αγορά. Από όσο θυμάμαι τα μόνα που έχουν μεταφραστεί είναι το μεγαλειώδες "Ένας πλανήτης που λεγόταν Σαγιολ" (Ωρόρα) και "τα μικρά γατλάκια της μαμάς Χιχόν" (ναι, με λάμδα).
