Kayla thought that her best friends, Evelyn and Trina, were supposed to always have her back, but when she discovers that Evelyn has been creeping with her husband, Cedric, and Trina has known about the ongoing affair for quite some time, Kayla is ready to cut ties and leave her so-called friends behind. Their actions have shown how scheming they truly are.
Of course, they are no more manipulative than Cedric, who lies in a hospital bed, clinging to life. The person who attempted to silence him is now behind bars, but just because one scorned woman is out of the picture, it doesn’t mean he’s in the clear. He may not be able to utilize his joystick for a while, but his millions are still in play.
Evelyn is eager to get her hands on his money, and pregnant with his child, she envisions a bright future ahead. She has a serious need for greed—greed that also makes her hungry for Trina’s beau, Keith. He displays a deep concern for the troublesome BFF’s, but his involvement may have him confessing to Trina that whatever Evelyn wants, she will eventually get.

OMG! That damn Evelyn! What makes people so mean? How do u hurt the 1's u love? How come people don't learn from their mistakes? My grandmother use 2 say, with friends like that, who needs enemies
All I can say is, That darngone Evelyn!! Talk about someone who needs a major butt kicking! Unfortunately, I am enjoying this series. How could one person be involved with so much drama. As for how does the story end for these three women, I can't wait. On to book three!
Wow, phenomenal, unexpectedly shocking... I'm totally speechless....another great book by Ms. Hampton.
Each women had so many unique characteristics and voliently drama in their lives but were determined to do whatever it takes to still unconditionally love and support we each other.
With friends like these who needs enemies !? We are back again with the drama , lies and deceit. These trio of friends give a new meaning to best friends for ever ! This book is another roller coaster ride and this book is hard to put down. Can’t wait to start on book 3.
Great followup to book 1. I was caught off guard by who really shot Cedric. The storyline flowed and I like the way the story ended. When it comes to drama, Brenda Hampton is the author of choice. I love her books and she keeps the drama coming.
The three trifling girlfriends are back in this sequel. Kayla has a lot of decisions to make... including the fate of her marriage and friendships.
Things are going good for Trina and Brian, but with time comes issues... some more challenging than others.
I saved Evelyn for last, because just when I thought she couldn’t stoop any lower, she went and proved me wrong!
Read in one day, this book by @brendahampton_1 had me cussing and wanting to rip some of these characters’ throat out thru the pages. Definitely a💎💎💎💎💎 read.
Brenda Hampton did it again! This series just keeps getting better and better. I'm already on the 3rd Book in this series! I'm going to be so sad when I complete it this very weekend. I woke up early, did all my housework so that I can have my day dedicated to completing some books I my reading list.
It would be nice to know what made this friendship between the frenemies so strong. They speak to each other with venom in one breath and the next they are calling each other besties…The relationship made no sense. What tied these women to each other? Especially, when one is so envious AND devious. At this point, I don’t feel sorry for Kayla or Trina for constantly forgiving and remaining friends with Evelyn. They are getting what they asked for in this loose “friendship.”
Kayla- the “conversations” she kept wanting to have with Evelyn grew old after the first one. She was still just as pathetic as book 1. Hopefully, the character will show some growth soon.
Trina-remains uninteresting and attempting to create her own drama - Why hasn’t she told Keith the why behind why she doesn’t trust Evelyn? She finally showed some sense with the gun incident at Keith’s and then quickly lost it. Her being so gullible can only lead to more drama in her life. her guilt trip she laid on kayla about their friendship was ridiculous.
Cedric –direct and unapologetic, other than $ and his “night stick” what made him appealing enough to put up with STD’s , numerous mistresses, a baby and his disrespectful mouth & attitude.
Evelyn- Remains unchanged in her trifling ways. She hadn’t learned any lessons after being on the outs with literally everyone she knew. Her narcissistic behavior is on the verge of delusional. It was nice to see her get a little of what she did from one of her “playthings”. two beat downs wasn’t enough to teach her a lesson unfortunately. I felt no sympathy for her
The Jacoby confession & Bryson twist was a nice turn.

If you loved BFF book 1 you will definitely love book 2. I was so excited when this book came out.
Kayla and her friends are back with more drama. Kayla, Evelyn and Trina have secrets that they are keeping.
I love the characters and sometimes hate the characters but in a good way. Each character hold their own in the story and keep the story entertaining.
The storyline was great with a surprise ending. The story line will have you turning the pages not wanting to put down the book. Thank you Brenda Hampton for an excellent follow up.
I highly recommend this book. This would be a great book club discussion
l loved it! some of these men and women have real issues, I wouldn't want to be involved at all. Evelyn continues to be a trip and I am patiently awaiting book #3. Great job Brenda Hampton read it in a couple hours. Excellent novel!
Brenda is a beast!! My feelings was everywhere reading this series I cursed so much at all these females til I had to stop reading for a few hours my nerves been so bad reading this book great series!
Part 1 had me hooked but this one wasn't as good as that one. It had a lot of shocking things go down lmao. Idk if I really wanna get the next book. Still a good read
Girl…my family member can’t just show up at my man’s house, so “best” friend show couldn’t. Evelyn is a hot mess. Cedric is too! Girl he don’t want you…I mean gosh… this is not love…she needs counseling.
This “friendship” is so toxic. These people are not smart at all. Why would you let your girlfriend’s trifling backstabbing so call BFF in your house alone? Why are you having her over when she came on to you? And you keep the sketch of her!! OMG! Tell her about the kiss man, SMH!!! Bryson & are a good fit.
Well what can I say? Evelyn is still a lowdown gold digging trying to steal people men crazy ass woman, she really been thru a lot in this book and I actually felt sorry for her wen she got her ass whooped. And man Trina really is a different person she is more stronger and open her character has matured a lot. And Kayla is still stupid tome she needs to stay away from Evelyn and Cedric. But hey it's just a story right? But a really great one.
Some things just don’t need to be said. Personally, I would have dumped Evelyn as a friend in book 1. Forgiveness is awesome, but some people you have to forgive and stay away from at the same time. Let’s see how book 3 turns out.
With all that happened to Evelyn she still didn't learn. Money is the root to her happiness but what's the price. Happy trina and Keith are working things out and she moved it. Kayla moved on but Jacob. And Bryson who would of known.
