Once upon a time, my best friend pulled me into his arms on the dance floor at my father’s wedding. It’s been a roller coaster ride since then.
From first loves to broken hearts, tumultuous relationships, teen pregnancies, heartache, gut wrenching moments, healing, and forgiveness, we’ve done it all together. A group of ride or die best friends who never let each other struggle alone.
We’ve had a good run for the last decade. Growing up, finding the right partners, getting married, and adding to our chaotic chosen family. But there are always strings left that haven’t been tied up and when they’re pulled on, everything threatens to unravel.
Because it’s us, it’s not just one thread, it’s all of them simultaneously unraveling, twining together in unexpected ways, and forming knots none of us could’ve expected.
From pregnancies to surprise returns, twists we never saw coming, and our pasts creeping in to haunt us, everything spins into chaos.
But… we’ve still got each other. Almost three decades of friendship, and we’re all still riding this roller coaster together.
Through the good and the bad, we hold on to each other, raise our beautiful families, and look toward the light on the other side. We’ve made it this far, we can make it through anything as long as we hold on to the love that got us here.
Stupid freaking love.
Endless Love is the fifth and final book in the Freaking Love series. Full of the drama, heartache, love, and laughter you’ve come to expect from the Freaking Love crew, this story takes all our favorites on one last emotional roller coaster ride before leaving everyone with beautiful happily ever afters. If you haven’t read the rest of the series yet, make sure you do that first, starting with book one, First Love. This book features POVs from all six main characters: Maia, Braden, Vince, Nick, Leigh, and Hollie.
Bethany Monaco Smith is a writer-mom. When she’s not busy hanging with her boys, she’s writing cozy small town romances with lots of heart, a bit of steam, and all the feels. She loves happily-ever-afters and cries at every emotional moment, whether reading, writing, or watching. When she’s not mom-ing or writing, you can find her binge-reading on Kindle Unlimited, spending too much time on Instagram, and supporting fellow indie authors. Bethany survives on coffee, rewatching the same TV shows over and over, and her KU subscription. She lives in the Southern Tier of NY with her husband and two sons. You can find out more about Bethany and what she’s working on next on Instagram @bethanymonacosmith
Here’s the thing - if you need a book that going to carry you through emotion after emotion - you need look no further than 99% of Bethany’s books. This is no exception. We return to the world truly started by Braden and Maia for the (foreseeable) final time. Would I personally read this as a standalone? No? But I also wouldn’t want to miss any of the details you get through the first four books that lead you to where Endless Love will. All of our main characters have POVs throughout the story, which is what makes it so relatable on different levels. I think it’s telling as well that Bethany was able to go from these characters being teenagers, to being in their 30s. There’s a sense of nostalgia when you read the first three books, to a sense of “now-ness” when you reach the final two. There’s just something so endearing in reading about a character, and in this instance multiple characters, that you feel you can share facets of life with. It’s in knowing that even though sure, this is a fictional story, it’s also a story that might help just one person in not feeling so alone with where they are in life. I fear that I’ll never be able to give this book full justice without completely spoiling everything, so I’ll leave it all at: sometimes all we need in life is a little Stupid Freaking Love.
What a beautiful way to end a series that was filled with friendships, loss, anger, growth and love that show us no matter the situation, people can overcome obstacles and become the person they are meant to be. Endless love has us back with all the couples we were introduced to in the previous four books. Maia and Vince, Leigh and Nick and Braden and Hollie and we can't forget about Harper, Braden and Maia's daughter. Throughout this book, each one of them had to deal with hard situations, at times that seemed impossible but the love that surrounded them helped them survive. There were feelings of lost identity, parents walking back into their lives and finding out that the one person you were closest to ends up being related to you. This book will have you riding a rollercoaster of emotions, but in the end, it is worth the ride.
Bethany always knows how to make me cry, laugh, swoon and feel all the emotions. Endless Love is no different. I loved getting to dive back into the world of Maia, Vince, Braden, Hollie, Nick and Leigh. The crew goes through some happy and tough times. I love how supportive and loving they are to one another. Seeing each character and couple get their final chapter was so inspiring. Seeing this series end makes my heart sad but the ride was so worth it. Thank you Bethany for trusting me with this crew. I’ll never forget it!
Endless Love . Freaking Love Part Five !! Oh my gosh guys , I could not have asked for a more perfect ending to this absolutely unforgettable and unputdownable series . What a blast it was , revisiting so many of my favorite characters/ couples , getting to see them all grown up , seeing how their relationships and friendships have evolved and stood up again the good and the bad times . So sad to see this series end yet so excited for the next generation
I had the privilege of reading this as an ARC. I have loved this entire series, but this ending had me totally wrecked. There were so many moments where I thought it couldn't get better for it to get better. As I was finishing up, I was thinking about how cool it would be to have a new series with the kiddos being the main characters, like Harper and Hunter (or other Ida friends). I can't wait for her next series!
Real. That is the one word I would describe this book as. This is the book that you all need so you know that real life continues for our beloved characters even after they get that happily ever after they fought for and deserve. They deal, they live, they overcome, they love and love hard. Together they continue to grow as a family, proving that love really is endless.
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED!!! I love the fact that she gave us a book of epilogues!! I am always sorry to to see characters go and Bethany allows us glimpses into the furture. There are always stuggles and I love the tight friend group that they all have. So well written and it gave me all the feels!!!
OMG, this book! The thing I love about this author is that it is compeletly evident she loves the characters as much as we do. This book is like a super extended epilogue spanning the series and I am all here for it!
This was the perfect ending to a series. We’ve seen each character have mental struggles and overcome them with the friend support group. They’ve been messy, emotional, and conquered extreme rough patches and ended up making beautiful lives together.
I loved this! It's always such a blast being back with these characters and I loved seeing them grown up. While I'm sad that this was the end, I'm so excited for the next generation's stories.
arc review: always really enjoy these interconnected series, but this may have been too many pov’s for me!! really lovely way to end the series, but perhaps too many emotional roller coasters for me
