A lead that could crack the case. A courtroom fight no one saw coming. And a secret that hits far too close to home.
The Garrett sisters finally catch a break in the fire investigation at Shorelight Ranch—but the moment they push for answers, it draws the wrong attention. Someone doesn’t want the truth uncovered… and they’re making that very clear.
When a source hints at a long-buried smuggling operation tied to Lighthouse Landing, Nicole follows the lead, despite the risks. The deeper she digs, the harder it becomes to keep her family safe.
Fire Chief Luke Walker won’t let Nicole face the danger alone. He’s calm in a crisis and far too easy to lean on, but Nicole can’t afford distractions, and her growing attraction to Luke might be the one complication she can’t ignore.
Meanwhile, Vicky is forced into closer proximity with Sheriff Warren Gage as the investigation collides with an unexpected legal battle.
And Charley is holding Shorelight Ranch together with sheer willpower, and Ray Callahan beside her. She’s always counted on him… but lately, it’s getting harder to pretend it’s business as usual.
With every clue pulling them closer to the truth, the Garrett sisters will have to decide what they’re willing to risk for justice… for family… and for love.
The Love We Find, Book Three in the Lighthouse Landing series, is a heartfelt, later-in-life, clean small-town beach read about family, slow-burn romance, and the secrets someone is desperate to keep buried.

About the Set on the California coast and filled with later-in-life heroines, big-hearted heroes, slow-burning romances, and a mystery stretching across six books, this is the perfect series for fans of Hope Holloway and Fiona Baker.
If you enjoy sister-centered sagas, coastal ranches, loyal dogs, and long-buried secrets, you’ll feel right at home in Lighthouse Landing.
The mystery continued for the Garrett sisters. Nicole is contacted by someone that has information that could implicate a lot of people including her father, and those people don’t want him to share it. She draws closer to fire chief Luke but despite her husband leaving and not being there when she and their daughter need him, he’s fighting the divorce. Vicky is still a tough attorney but she’s much softer and more understanding with her kids in this book and really comes through for Landon when he’s considering what he wants to do with his life and worried about his new friend Becky. Still she’s keeping the truth about their finances from them. Charley finally gets the courage to admit her feelings for Ray but her past could get in the way of her opening her heart. There were several twists and turns and suspenseful moments, but it kept me reading on for answers to the mystery. This book also ends with a cliffhanger.
Continuation of the Garrett family woes in the Lighthouse Landing series this is book 3 and previous books need to be read. Charley Garrett, one of three sisters, runs the Shorelight Ranch in Lighthouse Landing with her parents Kenneth and Eleanor, following a fire at the Ranch her father is still in the hospital and hasn't regained consciousness. Her sisters Nicole and Vicky along with their teenage children are still at the Ranch trying to figure out who is behind the arson and attempts on Nicole and Vicky, if they thought that would send the girls scurrying away they were mistaken. Undeterred, the sisters are more determined to get to the bottom of this puzzle. However the more they dig and the closer the truth gets it knocks them all for a loop when light is shed. Good yarn with twists, turns and plenty of angst.

No matter where I go, I’ll always want to come home to this place.
The sisters are settling into their current situations as all have found some security in whatever is going on personally or professionally . Nicole is recovering from her accident, Vicky is dealing with feelings for her old nemesis and Charley opening her heart to someone who's been with her for years.
But what was found at the lighthouse could open a whole new can of worms. Meanwhile the next generation is dealing with love and honor and making themselves heard around their grandfather's coma.
Again, Megan Jacobs has brought us to a literal cliffhanger. I would expect nothing else. Mystery, history and love. And the man in the coma could hold the key. Highly Recommended 5/5

This is a clean romance/suspense novel. It is book 3 of 6. It does have a cliffhanger and you need to read prior books to see where the story is going.
All three Garrett sisters are still working on trying to solve the mystery of the smugglers from a while ago. We are seeing the relationships between Charlie and Ray start to evolve. Nicole is trying to figure out her marriage - maybe divorce is the way to go. And Vicky is learning more about her kids than she had in the past.
There was a lot going on. Twists and turns. I am enjoying the story and how the relationships are evolving. Not only the adults, but those of the kids as well. And the mystery of the smuggling. Looking forward to book 4 to see what is going to happen next.

The Love We Find: (Lighthouse Landing - Book 3) was the book that had some of the answers but also some unanswered ones as well. By Megan Jacobs, the sisters are in a better place in their relationships and romance is on the horizon for them. Vicky is the one making the most progress in her family and personal relationships. Boy, she needed too However, she is not so different from the way people put up walls to protect themselves while being a stern influence whose purpose is better than perceived. As for the mystery, the danger and the suspense, this story ends with a cliffhanger after several twisty turns. Usually I do not care for a series with a cliffhanger but at the end of this book I can’t wait to dive into the next book.
I love all things Megan Jacobs, and this does not disappoint; this is book three in The Lighthouse Landing series. Charley lives on the Shoreline Ranch on the outskirts of Lighthouse Landing, with her parents Eleanor and Kenneth. The main ranch house burnt to the ground, Eleanor got out; but Kenneth is in a coma. It was finally determined it was arson!! Why?? Charley's sister Vicky was almost killed when she drove over spike strips on the street! What is going on?? Vicky's son Landon is getting much better with his music, and is enjoying his new friend Becky. How many more twists and turns can their be? Love the plot, great setting, and strong intense interesting characters. I can't wait for the next book in the series!!!
This series has been over the top since the first book and it just keeps getting better. This book was almost impossible to put down and I would not have if prior commitments were not a concern. The character and story development was so well done. I felt like I was a fly on the wall watching this story unfold and I can not wait to read the next portion of the story. This book is not a novella, but what I would consider a well constructed entire season in television terms. One I would definitely tune into the next season.

An apt title as each of the Garrett sisters begins to unravel their emotions and make tentative decisions for their future. However, all is not plain sailing on the emotional front and Ms Jacobs, once again, keeps her audience fully involved in her plot twists with the ongoing fire investigation, Dad Ken’s coma and the dilemmas faced by both young and older members of the family. As the sisters develop a more united front and Vicky, at least, mellows her attitude, new discoveries result in greater threats to the safety and reputation of the family. There are so many characters to follow in this series, but that’s part of what makes all the drama so addictive. After the floor collapsed at the lighthouse, everyone is left healing, rebuilding, and investing in what truly matters. Some relationships fall apart while others quietly bloom, and the secrets still buried promise even more twists ahead. There’s plenty of love, family, and heart to go around. I’m already eager for Book 4.

Many secrets will be unveiled in this book as well as some relationships will be started and others will reach the end. Charlie will finally realize that Ray is more than a farm help and a friend, Vicky will listen to her son and will help him in his career of choice, will her friendship with Warren become something more? Will Nicole and Luke finally be declared a couple after she files for divorce? Will their father awake from coma? Looking forward to reading the next book in the series! I thank Ms. Jacobs for this ARC.
Megan Jacob’s entertaining THE LOVE WE FIND, Book 3, is a clean, heartfelt, later-in-life romantic suspense, centered around three sisters, who find themselves surrounded by long-buried secrets and escalating danger, while trying to solve crimes targeting their family, and a mystery that someone doesn’t want solved. I just love this series which is about three generations of a family, their challenges, their secrets and their new plans. Amazing characters as they work through their challenges while supporting each other (mostly) and try to figure out how to deal with the surprises. The storyline keeps you pulled in from the first to the last page and I can't wait for the next book. Wonderful to read. I received a copy of this book from the author. There are so many unanswered questions and mysteries that have to be unraveled but the girls keep looking. I like the setting and the background of the story. Family Dynamics always add an unexpected twist to a story. The men that are also connected make for interesting characters that help uncomplicate aspects of the story. Romance can always throw a wrench in anything. Good read.

This is the 3rd book in the series, and we are finding out more about who was involved in burning down the ranch house, trying to kill Vicky, and Nicole's accident.
The story ends in a cliff hanger, so you'll need to read the other books to follow the story.
I received a free ARC, and this is my honest opinion.
Continuing from the earlier books, more and more of the mystery is unraveled and it leads to loads of family drama. The twists were unexpected and kept the pace interesting.
Similarly, I was excited to see gradual changes in each of the sisters’ love lives be it Charley, Vicky or Nicole. I can’t wait to read the next book as more secrets are revealed.
Just wow. I couldn’t imagine everything that happens in this one. Secrets abound and begin to unravel. Each of the sisters face the discoveries in their own way. I am really enjoying this series. I absolutely cannot wait for the next one to see what will happen. I received this book from the author and this is my voluntary, honest review.
This is a wonderful romantic suspense series. This smuggling ring makes for intriguing reading. I love the strong, later in life characters, makes for more realistic reading. Such an entertaining series with all the family drama, fires, secrets, mystery and romance. Very well written and engaging. I can't wait to see what happens in book 4!.

I am loving this series. The complicated relationship and the mystery that started with the house fire and now leading them to a smuggling mystery. Who is the mysterious person who is willing to talk to Nicole. They have also linked their father to the smuggling. This is a must-read series. As the sisters reunite, they learn more than they have EVER been prepared for. Each sisters story and Kenneth's truth. It totally rocked the sisters world and mine also. Another MUST READ by Megan Jacobs.
The Love We Find is full of mystery, intrigue, suspense all centered around a ranch family in a small town. The drama unfolds in an unexpected manner. Definitely a cliffhanger.

secrets danger and support There doesn´t seem to be a reprieve for the sisters, the secrets and danger seem to follow them around but I was happy they found support.
