Finishing my psychiatric residency at the age of twenty-nine should have put me on top of the world.
But when one mistake lands me at rock bottom, I’m forced to take a job at an old insane asylum stuck in the 20th century.
St. Bartholomew’s was supposed to be my sanctuary, a chance to escape my shit life and get my head back on my shoulders.
Turns out, I’ve stumbled into a fresh hell instead. And Patient Seventeen—the facility’s most violent resident—is my personal demon.
Danger lurks around every corner, with a sinister facility director hiding secrets as mystifying as the fog surrounding the haunted hospital on the hill.
What ensues is a web of mind games, countless monsters who want to own my soul… And an enigmatic demon standing between us, with every intention of claiming me for himself.
Aiden Pierce is a writer of dark paranormal romance and erotic horror. Her love stories are on the spooky side and usually end up with the monster or the villain getting the girl. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their three fur babies. When she's not daydreaming about the characters that live in her head, she can be found curled up on the couch with a black coffee and a dark romance novel.
So..uhh...heeyyy. Quick question. When's book two coming out? Asking for a friend. Yeah. This friend of mine is into some weird shit and this book apparently tickled most of those feelers. Tickle. Tickle. Tickle.... oh f*ck it, yes, I'M THE FRIEND. GIVE ME BOOK TWO 😭😭
I genuinely don’t know what to say. No Asylum Here is everything it claimed to be, and I loved every fucked up minute of it.
𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧: - A haunted asylum on the hill with secrets as thick as the fog surrounding it - AHS Asylum meets Harley Quinn/Joker vibes - Psych-ward patient MMC + Psychiatrist FMC - Masked man - Forbidden love - Scalpel & Speculum play - Light medical horror - Psychological horror
I started this at 10pm and didn't stop until 2am. I finished this in one sitting. It was un-putdownable. I couldn't stop but I also didnt want it to end. This was easily a 5 ⭐️ read for me.
•Masked MMC •Doctor FMC •Asylum •Dream/Nightmare spice 🔥 •Paranormal Horror •Touch her and 💀
Doctor Beckett is just starting out at St. Bartholomew as a Psychiatrist. She is having dreams before she starts her new position about a patient who is wildly obsessed with her. Patient Seventeen. He is unlike anything she is prepared for.
This book was dark and truly everything i love in an asylum read. I cannot wait for book 2, the end of this was just the beginning.
Title: No Asylum Here Author: Aiden Pierce Genre: Gothic Horror Romance Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️ Main Characters: Patient 19 + Dr. Beckett Book Type: Book 1
What a literary masterpiece. I’ve read a few gothic books, but this tops them.
I absolutely loved patient 19. His part and his past was written so beautifully. The way he was created along with his personality, was really good. The back and forth between present and past was written so well along with the other side characters.
The ending threw me for a loop and now I’m craving the next book so bad. I can’t wait to see what patient 19 and patient 101 do next!
What a wild freaking ride this was! I love a good gothic asylum horror story, and this really fit the bill. As the reader you kinda get the idea what’s happening, but I honestly spent a lot of my time going WTF? In a good way. It’s just a fascinating story thats very fast paced, and twisty and basically felt like a fever dream.
I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying it gave off Harley/Joker vibes… and it did, but also had some good Hannibal vibes. Just a lot of fun if you like erotic horror. Tuesday and Patient 17 have some immediate chemistry and the spice is good and very much wrapped in horror and forbidden so make sure to check the TW, it gets pretty dark. I definitely recommend if you like a dark & gory, erotic horror. I can’t wait for book two.
Contemporary MF Gothic Horror Romance Creepy AF Asylum Fever Dream Vibes Muzzled MMC Doctor / Patient Medical Play Spice: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
THIS BOOK WAS AS TWISTY AS A PRETZEL AND AS DELICIOUS AS THE NACHO CHEESE YOU DIP IT IN. Devoured wholly and throughly. Mal and Tuesday are absolutely delicious and left me speechless more than once. I mean, the Hannibal vibes were immaculate but THEN you add in that TONGUE?! Demon have mercy, I have perished!! The daddy issues were raging and I don’t think I have hated one like this in forever. Seriously, F that guy! The side characters are just as deep as our mains. Bunny is MVP and must be protected at ALL COSTS! You won’t get a big cliffy but you will get an un answered questions hangover. I have so many theories rattling around in my brain cavern right now! I am NEVER disappointed when I pick up an Aiden book. I don’t know what Aiden does, but every word is seriously addicting! I will gladly stay hooked forever!
Thank you to the author for this ARC! This was SO unhinged and soooo delicious. I was hooked in from the very start and finished it in one day. I cannot wait to see where book two takes us!!!
No Asylum Here blends psychological tension, haunting atmosphere, and dark romance into a captivating read. This book is definitely not for everyone due to its dark themes, violence, and graphic content, so I strongly recommend checking the content warnings before reading!
One of my favorite things about this book was the atmosphere. The author's descriptive writing made it incredibly easy to picture St. Bartholomew's and its eerie surroundings. The fog-covered asylum felt like a character of its own, and I often felt completely immersed in the setting as the story unfolded.
I was immediately intrigued by the mystery surrounding the asylum, its residents, and the secrets hidden within its walls. Patient Seventeen was especially fascinating, and I found myself eager to keep turning the pages to learn more about him and the strange, dangerous world the main character had found herself trapped in.
As a fan of immersive storytelling, I really appreciated how vividly every scene was described. The gothic horror elements paired perfectly with the dark romance, creating a story that was both unsettling and compelling.
This was also my first ARC read, and I had an amazing experience with it. While it wasn't quite a five-star read for me, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and found myself completely invested in what happens next.
The ending left me excited for more, and I will definitely be picking up book two as soon as it's released. If you enjoy gothic horror, dark romance, haunted asylums, morally gray characters, and atmospheric storytelling, this is a book worth checking out!
I went into it excited but weary. Aiden said it was dark, the darkest they've written so I was a little worried. But I trust Aiden. And I am so glad I did.
The story hooked me from the start. From that very first chapter I was engrossed. I loved everything that was happening. How the plot developed, the characters, their stories, it was all just so good. There was so much mystery, so many secrets, and they were doled out like little morsels throughout the story. Just when I had an idea of what was happening, it twisted and changed.
Yes, the story is dark, but for me I didn't find it too dark. It was just the right amount for my preference. But def check your trigger warnings.
The romance was all consuming. It was dark, and hot, and it had me scared and with butterflies in my stomach. I mean how do you make a speculum hot? BUT AIDEN DID IT.
The book ends on a mild cliffhanger, and I need book two immediately.
10/10. Amazing read. If you're a fan of American horror story, this book will 100000% be your jam!
Like actually I can’t believe the chaos in this book This leaves you confused and mixed up for the first 40-45% of the book, because duh that’s the point. It’s heavy and fucked up, locked away in an asylum that is full of monsters. Like… legit monsters
Tuesday comes to St.Barts thinking she’s getting an incredible opportunity to start fresh as a doctor.
Patient 17 helps her open her eyes to the true horrors of St.Barts while playing with her mentally.
Aiden, thus might be your best mind fuck of a book so far.
It was so well done, the way this flipped so quickly without spoilers you are in for one hell of a ride with this!
The final 25% of the book really kicked it up for me and I'm feeling really ecstatic to find out how this story ends in book 2! Who knew I'd find the consenting doctor/patient kink so enticing? The mystery surrounding St Bart's and Dr Beckett and Patient Seventeen took a bit to get going, but once it did it was a lot of fun. Demons, monsters, crude experiments, medieval-style medical treatments, an evil doctor, undead? nurses, a gothic insane asylum, straitjackets and masks gave this story unhinged, creepy vibes. The speculum scene was killer and I have so many questions about that ending!
Thank you to the author for an early reading copy, this review is given voluntarily.
Devoured this in one sitting, seriously couldn’t put it down. Aiden never disappoints. I’m here for Tuesday and patient 17. I need book two. Check TWs but definitely worth the read.
This book was a genuine masterpiece that held my rapt attention so strongly that I could sing its praises for hours before running out of things to say. I’d like to start with speaking on an aspect I feel uniquely informed to comment on, the psychology content that’s inevitable in a book with a setting as seen in No Asylum Here. As a reader with a degree in Psychology that minored in English Literature, I was thrilled to see the clear consideration and research that went into bringing this story to life in a way that balances understanding of the subject matter with literary craft. Aiden Pierce does a phenomenal job representing certain aspects of trauma and psychopathology that are very often misrepresented outside of academia. This specifically stood out to me with a particular side character who I absolutely adored! Her trauma takes a form that I often see grossly misrepresented, vilified, or sexualized in media; the opportunity to see that handled with such care and respect truly warmed my heart. That being said, this book is every bit the horror-romance it claims to be, throughout the course of the story I found myself oscillating between screeching in dismay and utter disgust one moment, then fawning and squealing over the undeniable chemistry between our FMC and Patient 17 the next moment. The pacing struck a wonderful balance between drawing the reader in, while still creating space to vividly bring them into the setting of St. Bartholomew that makes you feel like you’re truly standing in the halls of the asylum. From the moment I started reading to the moment the book came to it’s close, I was enraptured. Every piece of storytelling felt compelling and intentional, and I have never viscerally despised an antagonist the way I did while reading. It is crucial to note that while I personally adored it, No Asylum Here is DARK in every sense of the term, and may not be suitable for all readers. I would highly recommend reading the trigger warnings, especially if you are new to this sub-genre of romance or consider yourself squeamish. This was a 5 star read for me in the truest sense, and I am already frothing at the mouth for more!
Aiden Pierce writes the monsters of your dreams! A sexy AF monster, a split tongue he knows how to use, possessive as hell, and yes, ma'am, I'm hooked!
Not everything is as it seems at St. Bartholomew's. Tuesday quickly realizes this when she jumps on a job offer from Dr. Rook. Down on her luck, Dr. Tuesday Beckett finds herself nearly homeless, out of a job, and depressed due to the death of one of her patients. She's a complex character. She's a young aspiring psychiatrist with a chip on her shoulder and something to prove. She's strong-willed, resilient, and a tough cookie. Her ambition and attitude lands her with St. Bart's most dangerous criminal, Patient 17.
Que the monster swoon. Tall, dark, and dangerous. Patient 17 isn't what you think he is, and his black file leaves much to the imagination. He is certainly a man who deserved so much better! Dr. Beckett is informed he murdered and cannibalized his father, amongst injuring and murdering several staff members. Dr. Rook tells her he is the most dangerous patient in the facility and that he is. Not all monsters are born; some are created (with a split tongue!), and Patient 17 was certainly created. A victim of Dr. Rook's experiments, 17 has become a half-human, half-demon type monster who is always restrained like Hannibal Lecter for staff safety. He also has many layers. He's not actually the vicious criminal that Dr. Rook paints him out to be. He still has a soul and a heart. One that only starts beating again when he sees Tuesday in his dreams.
As always, Aiden's world-building is flawless. I could see the hospital in my mind's eye with such clarity as if I walked through the fog and approached it myself. You really get attached to the characters, and I will forever have a deep loathing for Dr. Rook. Sadly, this was a world we lived in not so long ago, and you can tell Aiden put in the time to research what these facilities were like back then. I can't wait for book two because I need to know what happens!
If you love a masked MMC with forced proximity in your dreams(nightmares are dreams too) you’ll love this read!
From touch her and 💀💀 over and over again, to a endless labyrinth filled with mentally twisted entities, this book was definitely a ride that left me with more questions than answers. Our mmc and mfc definitely gave off that “Bonnie and Clyde” insta fall but with the added darkness and twist Aiden always delivers to her readers. You’ll meet a Dr trying to make something of herself, lose herself, then lose herself when she crosses the lines with her patient. The world setting begins in the world we know, but quickly sets and ends in a secret paranormal one.
While I’m use to her writing style as it’s my favorite of all authors, this book truly captured a side I did not see coming. The spice level was there, but not as often as I assumed it would. Don’t get me wrong, it’s there, but this story was built more on plot and character story. Though don’t let that fool you. You’ll find yourself having more questions than the Dr did.
Why was her old patient there with her when she died away from the asylum? Is she so mad at her death that she herself contacted Dr Rook to hire her as revenge? And why at the ending were both our mmc and fmc placed together when DR Rook knows how dangerous they are together, especially with our mmc being locked so tight in isolation? And yet they only kept them wearing the bite masks? For how strong they are they could definitely rip them off but didn’t? I have many more questions and can’t wait for book 2 in hopes I’ll have my answers.
Definitely check your trigger warnings as this is a darker paranormal horror novel, but not the darkest I’ve read by Aiden.
I’m a HUGE fan of Aiden’s work and I trust this author to take me on a journey. This is definitely darker than everything Aiden’s written before but it is SO well done. Well researched, strong world building, a FMC and MMC that I can engage with, kinky spice for days (a gift to readers with a medical kink!), so much tension and plot and an ending that has me wanting to race into Aiden’s DMs and beg for me (I would NEVER actually do this).
This is dark. You’ve been warned. If that’s not for you, that’s ok. We’re talking about physical and emotional abuse, substance abuse, medical experimentation and a supernatural world that we’ve just begun to dip our toes into. Just know what you’re getting into. That being said, you all should know that I’m leery of super dark romance. Much of it is written for shock value without any storytelling to back it up. I’m so happy to tell you that Aiden DELIVERS the story here.
Tuesday, the FMC, is a mess in a way that we all could be, if not for luck. Crappy family, drowning in debt and losing it after a patient overdoses. She’s been dealt a bad hand and it just keeps getting worse over the course of the story.
The one shining light? Patient 17. This man is sex on a stick, chained and masked and will break those binding for her. They may be in hell, but they’re there together.
Side characters - LOVE Bunny! Do not love Fredrick. That man is all my nightmares wrapped up in one basement dwelling pharmacist, exactly as intended.
Thanks so much to Aiden for the review copy! All opinions are honestly given.
Damn, this was so good! I immediately want the next book 😅 I felt so drawn into the story. I just wanted to get to the bottom of everything and with every answer revealed, there was more mystery that left me wondering what the hell was going on. I loved it! The psychological elements are written so viscerally that I couldn't help but feel empathy for Tuesday and the other characters. The spice was dark and depraved. I'm a bigger fan of medical play than I thought I was going into this book 🫣. I was hoping for a darkness level similar to Circus Creeps and Carnival Creeps, and I was thrilled with the depravity. The tension felt like walking through a haunted house cautiously excited for what happens next. I don't want to say too much about the plot because there are twists, and I genuinely don't know how to talk about them without spoiling anything. But the haunted asylum setting feels oppressive and gothic. Patient Seventeen is everything I wanted from an obsessive/possessive demon MMC. And the mind games had me questioning everything right alongside Tuesday as she is introduced to the patients and staff at St. Bartholomew's Asylum. This is book one of a duet and it all ended too soon, I'm so ready for more! Thank you to Aiden Pierce for the chance to read this ARC! If you want a gothic horror romance with spice that goes to dark places (check the trigger warnings) I 10/10 recommend!!!
Absolutely mind bending, and impossible to put down!
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of No Asylum Here, and let me tell you, Aiden Pierce has completely outdone themselves with this gothic horror romance. From the very first chapter, the eerie atmosphere of St. Bartholomew completely swallowed me whole.
What blew me away the most was the psychological depth of this story. Psychological horror can be tough to nail, but the research and intentionality behind the trauma and psychopathology represented here shine through beautifully. Instead of relying on cheap tropes, the author handles heavy themes with a level of respect and care that is rare to find in dark fiction, especially concerning the secondary characters.
Now, let’s talk about Tuesday and Patient 17. Their chemistry is a wild, twisted, and addictive rollercoaster. One minute you are genuinely horrified by the depravity of their environment, and the next, you are completely captivated by their bond. It’s dark, visceral, and unapologetically erotic. The pacing is flawless, keeping the suspense dialed up to a ten while giving you plenty of reasons to utterly despise the antagonist.
A fair warning: This is a pitch black romance, so please check the trigger warnings before diving in. It is not for the faint of heart, but if you love your romance wrapped in chilling gothic horror, you will devour this in one sitting. I have so many questions and am already dying for the next book in this series
This book was so deliciously dark, unhinged, and depraved I read this in one sitting and loved every page! This book felt like the storylines for Harley Quinn/Joker, Hannibal, AHS Asylum had a baby and then you throw in a dash of paranormal.
Tuesday Beckett has just been fired, having been in the middle of a breakdown after losing a patient and breaking all kinds of "doctor code". In a desperate move to get out of debt and have a place to stay, she accepts a position at St. Bartholomew's Center for the Criminally Insane. Pretty quickly she realizes things are not right - even further believing that after meeting Patient Seventeen - the same man that's been meeting her in her dreams.
Seventeen is my new favorite number! From the first time we meet him I was already done for - in a straightjacket but still able to cage Tuesday in against the wall by his sheer size? And then all the pitch black things he does afterwards with the new guard, how he gets new "paint" for his wall, just to name a few! But then we also get his other side seeing the lengths he goes to protect Tuesday and the other patients in the asylum.
I also love how Aiden laid out the story for this one - she keeps us confused as to what's going on for the first half but still keeps us intrigued enough to be like "Okay... what IS going on?!" and when we finally find out? I fell in love with how unique the story was!
Wow, this one was a fast paced roller coaster. This is by far one of my favorite gothic horror romances I’ve ever read. I’m obsessed with Tuesday and Patient 17. The chemistry is there from the very first interaction. I loved the suspense of not knowing what was happening or what was going to happen next. The spice was top tier. And the backstories of the characters were devastating and kept you wanting to know more.
We start with our FMC, Tuesday, having a mental breakdown due to the loss of one of her patients. She is fired from her job and has a dream where she meets a man who tells her about ST. Barts. Then the next day, she gets a job offer from there and takes it. As soon as he gets there unexplainable things start happening. From here, our story unfolds, and it’s a crazy, wild all the way to the end. And I cannot wait for the next book.
Overall, this is a five star read for me. The pacing was perfect. The characters were real and raw. The plot was very unique and addictive. Our main characters’ chemistry was off the charts. The horror and suspense were the perfect amount for this fast read. And I can’t wait to see where we go next.
Thank you, Aiden Pierce, for this ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own. 🖤
Dr Beckett is desperate as life throws her through a loop so she accepts a job at a mental hospital for the worst criminals.. little does she know, things are NOT what she thinks they are. Patient 17 holds all of the answers to everything and Dr Beckett is determined to find out who the man truly is and the secrets St. Bartholomew Hides
Patient 17 is more than just a patient.. a murderer & cannibal - so they say.. But his file is heavily redacted, hiding the truth of who he truly is. He becomes Dr. Beckets patient and her #1 obsession.
No Asylum Here held me captive from the moment I read the first page. I blew through the pages loving the story of Dr Beckett and patient 17. The plot was fantastic, the character building- chefs kiss.. everyone had a back story that made sense and made me fall for characters in their own way… the story got so good and characters started to shift, middle of Chapter 43 had me jumping up and down laughing and clapping and then BAM IT WAS OVER 😅 I wasn’t prepared for how much i would love Patient 17 and Patient 101 but I need more ASAP.
Thank you to Aiden Pierce for allowing me to ARC read No Asylum Here.. it was a great read and I cannot wait for book two! 👏🏻

No Asylum Here: A Gothic Horror Romance by Aiden Pierce I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
We believe you would be right at home here at St. Bartholomew's.
Honest Impression This book kept me captivated, it was easy to follow while still keeping me on my toes, and I am so beyond excited for the next book in the series! From the plot itself, to the characters, the world building, to the body horror, I was so excited to be able to start each new chapter. The book flowed seamlessly, and never had me feeling confused like other stories tend to when inserting plot twists or creating that mysterious element.
My Only Critique The only critique I have is a small one, in which I felt the characters fell too fast and didn't have a ton of relationship development beforehand. I want to avoid too many spoilers, so I will leave it at that, however the second book keeps me hopeful that their relationship will develop more.
I truly cannot wait to read the second book, whether I receive an ARC again or have to purchase it myself, I definitely think it will be worth the read and I have high hopes!
No Asylum Here was so not what I was expecting! It was one wild rollercoaster ride into insanity. There were many times I was questioning the reliability of the story as it felt like I might’ve been going a little insane myself.
It kind of gave me a House on Haunted Hill vibe with creepy asylum and ghost/demon vibes. The story moved at break neck speed with plenty of twists and turns. Tuesday, dreams of Patient Seventeen, only to find out he’s real and they are having the same dreams. When they meet it’s electric right from the beginning and she quickly finds out that nothing is what it seems. In fact, the story decays rapidly and you’re left with that overwhelming feeling of: wtf?
If you love stories with paranormal/demon aspects, horror, mad scientists, a morally black world, a romance with teeth, all played out with the backdrop of an insane asylum? Then do I have a book rec for you.
Definitely intrigued to read the second book because that ending left me wanting more. Thank you to the author for the advanced readers copy.
If Unhinged by @authorstephmacca, Lolli-Gag by @ashlynnauthor and Twisted Heathens by @jroseauthor are up your alley, then you will enjoy No Asylum Here. Throwing major Harlequin-Joker vibes!
This follows Doctor Tuesday Beckett, a psychiatrist who is spiraling in a world of guilt, depression, prescription drugs and vodka after her patient dies at her prestigious job. She is let go and almost immediately gains a position at St. Bartholomew's, home to the criminally insane and Patient Seventeen.
Patient Seventeen with a file as useless as a empty notepad, we are lead to believe he murdered and ate his father but you see they met in a dream, not believing the other existed til Tuesday did everything in her power to obtain his file. You would think that Seventeen was obcessed, putting his life on the line in the background to keep this woman he doesn't even know safe but Tuesday is just as addicted to him.
We have sexual tension, a storyline that will make you wonder if anything is real, and a scalpel that goes to unnamed charters 😉 if you know what I mean.

4⭐️ 3🌶️ Well, holy fuck! Talk about a wild ride. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from this book, but it definitely wasn’t that… The vibes were Harley Quinn and Joker, monsters, Frankenstein, the supernatural, the underworld and somehow it all comes together into one absolutely insane story. This was such an intriguing, twisting mystery with a deep emotional connection between the two main characters. By the end, I somehow had even more questions than I did going in, and I cannot wait to pick up the next book. The characters, the world building, and the trauma were all incredibly well written. It had me completely hooked and constantly wanting to know what would happen next. That said, if dark content isn't your thing, you should probably skip this one. And when I say dark, I mean DARK. But if you love stories that are twisted, morbid, brutal, disturbing, and packed with monsters and psychological horror, then this is absolutely worth the read. Just know going in: this one is definitely not for the faint of heart
I drug my feet for the last couple chapters because I didn't want to finish 😭 so glad this is getting a second half, making a duet, but I'm impatient! And the ending!? Oh we're in for a great conclusion.
Learned some fun new words from this one, very educational. It had a Toxic Avenger meets Sucker Punch vibe, in the best way. The world building was fantastic, a little disorienting, but that was the point. It was a dreary fun house vibe.
Though the book was on the shorter side (for now) plenty happened and we still got a great story. I can't wait to see where it goes, what Dr. Beckett and Patient 17 have in store for us, and maybe get some some answers to some very wild questions!
*Review given freely of my own volition. My opinion is not all that should be taken into account and readers should be aware that not all tastes are the same and my view may not be the norm. This statement made remains fact, regardless of how I obtained any copy.
This medical gothic paranormal horror absolutely consumed me. Forbidden love, a masked man, knife play, touch-her-and-die energy, and enough darkness to keep you hooked from the very first page. Need I say more?
Mal is as deranged, obsessive, and deliciously dark as they come. The man could convince anyone to take a little fuzzy-sock vacation, and honestly? Lock me up and throw away the key. 😏😏 😏.
Plot melted perfectly into the spice and dark themes here. Nothing felt forced or overshadowed the story. I love a book that actually makes me think, and this one had my theories spiraling within the first three pages. Every new reveal had me questioning everything I thought I knew.
My only complaint? The length. I needed more. So much more. More Tuesday. More Mal. More answers. More chaos. More everything.
And that ending? Pure torture. Absolute torture. 😂
This one is out now, so do yourself a favor and grab a copy. Just be prepared to lose sleep because putting it down is nearly impossible. 🖤 📖✨
If Aiden Pierce writes it, I am absolutely going to eat it up and leave no crumbs and this book was no exception. From the very first page, I was completely drawn in by the fascinating characters and the gripping storyline. It delivers the ultimate Joker and Harley Quinn relationship vibes, but elevates the tension with a dark, brilliant touch of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The unpredictable twists and turns kept me constantly on my toes, making it an absolute thrill ride from start to finish. The chemistry in this book is off the charts, the spice level was amazing, and the taboo, gripping dynamic between the doctor and patient was written so beautifully that I never wanted to put it down. The pacing was flawless, keeping me hooked and entirely invested in their chaotic world. I am already desperately waiting for the second book to come out because I need to know what happens next. I don't just want more, I crave it.
4/5 ⭐️ 💉 Psych Ward Patient x Psychiatrist 💉 Masked Man 💉 Forbidden Love 💉 Harley Quinn x Joker Vibes
After surviving and obsessing over the Sinner's Sideshow Trilogy, I knew I was walking into disaster willingly. Alistair left permanent damage, and now Patient Seventeen has entered the chat. The warnings were read. The warnings were understood. And I responded the only way I know how: ✨ accelerate ✨What can I say? I have a mischievous habit of wandering directly toward the most morally questionable corners of fiction. So when the story introduced its medically themed spice? I was completely sold🗣🗣🗣 What I adore about Aiden Pierce is that she never delivers a typical dark romance. She twists horror, obsession, desire, and dread into something uniquely her own. Horror erotica in her hands is an absolute chef's kiss because you never truly know what waits around the next corner. Twisted. Disturbing. Grotesque. Addictive. Exactly the way I like my horror. Five stars for the chaos.
