Terminal is the hardest working band in music today! Touring days, weeks and months at a time they are dedicated to their one of a kind fan base, The Sinners. Driven to provide the most memorable music experience to their fans, they remain available to them via their internet chat room. There's no band quite like Terminal.

Siannon Hannack found Terminal and The Sinners when she was at her most vulnerable and needed all the support and love they could offer. After winning the golden ticket online, Siannon has the opportunity to meet Terminal in a unique backstage experience. When meeting Landyn Pierce becomes too much, Siannon's anxiety wins and she flees missing out on the chance meeting with the sexy rock god.

When finally returning to the chat room, Siannon receives a private message from Landyn offering her a second chance. Timidly, Siannon replies and her life of quiet and solitude changes to one of late night calls, anonymous texts, stalkers and love.

You are broken, i am broken, we're all fucking BROKEN. If you like unnecessary drama, a whiny, uber-dependant, shell of a character (Siannon), insta - love, then you are gonna love this....

I was one of the VERY Lucky few that got to read this book while it went through it's stages of progress. Lisa is new to the Indie World, and what an Amazing Talent she brings. I fell in love with Lisa's work in her debut novel Keystrokes. The way she wrote Kasen, you couldn't help but fall in love with him. Now in her second book Detour, and first in a series, you fall in love with new characters. Landyn Pierce, heart throb rocker, meets a troubled girl. He has no idea what he is getting into, but can't help himself. He is drawn to Siannon and just has to be there. Yes, this is a love story, yes, it has a happy ending, but the ride along the way is written so beautifully you wish you were Siannon, problems and all. This book is the start to a series, but it is also a stand alone. If you love the Sweet Heart Touching novels, then this book is definitely for you. I recommend all she has written thus far and what is to come. Awesome Lady, with Awesome Talent. <3

Landyn Pierce is more than just a sexy Rock Star, and Siannon Hannack is more than just a shy girl who wants to meet him. When her chance comes, and she is in front of her, it is to much. Her anxiety hits an all time high and she runs. Landyn can't forget the girl and when he sees her name in the chat room, he has to say Hi. Through some quirky kind of therapy, Landyn helps Siannon come out of her shell. Read this heart touching story of 2 people that actually help each other. :)

I honestly loved this book! Siannon is definitely one of my new favourite female leads, nice to read a story where it isn't the typical MO!

Of course all the characters are brilliant, I laughed a lot during this book and I adore Lexi and Siannon's friendship! Not to mention the rock God and all his sexiness!

A truly amazing book with HOT scenes and a dirty talking rocker, what more could you ask for?

REALLY hope there's more soon!

Absolutely love this book!! Siannon is a strong woman with a past like her's. Landyn has a dark past as well but maybe two broken people can fix and make each other whole. Really hope to read Lexi and Desmond's story. Standing ovation!!

Not your usual rock star romance. When Siannons dreams come true, she gets to meet her hero's, the hottest band of the moment Terminal. She should be happy, but when she lays eyes on Landyn Pierce - lead singer, she panics and runs. Landyn is intrigued and pursues her. But the road to romance is not always easy (especially with a rock star). Siannon has to deal with PSTD from an horrific event, and has a crazed fan stalking her. But sometimes when life takes you offtrack the 'Detour' is worth it... and sometimes you are not 'Broken' just a little lost. This was a nicely paced read, with some very interesting characters. The secondary characters really gave me a feel for the book, and I would have to say, I really cant wait to see what the rest of the Terminal boys get up to.. While this is part of a series, it stands nicely on its own.

I have only good things to say about this book! Lisa Marie delivered us a super sweet, and wonderfully written one of a kind love story. Between Landyn having to travel with his band "Terminal" and Siannon working to emotionally recover her life, we see them help each other through thick and thin.

I cannot wait to read more from this author.

Great read if...you enjoy rock star books, easy reads, plot twists, romance, and an HEA!

Side Note: Lisa Marie has a fun and an easy style to her that is refreshing. This book is the first in a series, and a great way to kick it off. You'll enjoy the ride and be thankful you checked out a new author!

*received in exchange for an honest review*

This book took me completley by surprise. What I thought would be your average rock n roll story of a broken muscician seeking salvation with a random fan was anything but. This story was sweet, romantic, and the reverse of rocker seeking redemption.

Siannon Hannack has been the through the ringer. Although we don't learn a whole lot about her past, we learn enough to know what is going on presently and why she suffers from PTSD. She gets a chance to meet her favorite band and blows it by running away when her anxiety becomes too much for her. Breaking down in front of the sexiest man in the world, Landyn Pierce was probably the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to her.

When she finally gets the nerve to go back onto the bands website and chat with all the other fans, Landyn finds her and offers her another chance at one-on-one meet and greet. He gets her number from her and texts and calls her and they begin to build a friendly relationship. But when Siannon's friend, Lexi, puts her up to the task of going out alone as a way to help conqour her anxiety, she fails. And the first person she calls isn't Lexi, it's Landyn. He's there lickety split to help her get out of there and even accomanies her during her errand.

Once they begin spending time together, she grows more comfortable with him and her anxiety issues begin to ebb with his help. She feels like a whole new person. That is until she starts receiving threats to stay away from Landyn. During all of this, the sweet and snarky Landyn stays by her side to help her through and they fall in love. But when the stalker issue gets out of hand, truths are told that can shatter what they've spent all this time building together.

I really loved this story and didn't want to put it down.It was the perfect blend of sweet and crazy&Siannon and Landyn....wow. They fit together like pieces of a puzzle. The scene where he takes her to Disney....LOVE. I love her best friend Lexi. That girl cracks me up. And that crazy wench stirring trouble, can you say personality disorder...damn. I hope the next story is Lexi and Desmond's story. Gaaaaaaah.

The one thing that got me were the lack of scene breaks. You're in mid scene then the next paragraph they are somewhere else and you're left going WT....oh okay. Scene breaks are badly needed in this story. They through me for a loop every single time and I had to get myself back into the flow of the story.

If you like sweet, hot, romantic stories with a little bit of twist, snag up this story. You will love it.

I was given an ARC book for an honest review free of persuasion from the author or anyone else affiliated with this book.
WARNING: CONTAINS MATURE AND ADULT CONTENT --ALSO MAY CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS
This was an alright book by Lisa Marie. I found myself looking back at Keystrokes more and more through the story and liking that book the best. The story line had similarities to her first book, however it seemed to be a bit more racy. I did find myself wishing for less of the steamy sex scenes and more for the in depth story line such as the first book.
This book is about a woman named Siannon and a man named Landyn. You see Siannon was in a horrific accident that left her with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), a fear of crowds and with people in general. With this being said it is hard on her since she is also a huge fan girl of the rock band Terminal.
Siannon gets to meet Landyn (lead in Terminal) in a meet and greet at a concert. She has a panic attack during this "meet and greet" and runs off before talking to him. They both felt the instant connection as she rushes off. So this leads Landyn to looking up Siannon on the computer (Silly Men). Now since they have "met" through the computer they quickly pick up the pace and start to message. Next they start talking by phone they connect even more, this leads to them hanging out. One thing leads to another and they start seeing each other more and more. They end up falling in love.
Is love enough? Can an average girl hold onto a rock star? What happens next time she has a panic attack? What trials do they have in store?
Is there going to be another book in the series? Only Lisa Marie knows. Maybe one with a little less steam is my style. I would recommend this book to people who like books about rockers and with steam.

I'm doing a re-read as I had read an earlier version...new review to come!

I really wanted to love this book, I really did. And it has a lot of potential and there are moments of brilliance in the book too. But it really needs a good edit. And that made it difficult for me to enjoy the book.

Character development: I needed more interaction between Siannon and Landyn. I also needed to see more growth of Siannon to understand why Landyn would be interested in her. Yes, she is broken, suffering from PTSD, is vulnerable and is trying to move on, but her character didn't do enough growing for me.

The major plot twists: These were thrown at me without having them resolved completely. The antagonists in the book came out of the blue and then immediately things were resolved without it germinating.

Showing not telling: I know this is a cliched phrase that folks say regarding good storytelling- but this book suffers from that. There are moments where the author explains something when they could have just shown it and then trust in the reader's ability to understand the emotion of the situation or the tenor of what the author was trying to reveal.

Like I said, there were moments where I was moved, and I can see how this book could be fabulous, but it really suffered from not having really good content editing, which bums me out. Hopefully this review is viewed as something that can help the author, not meant to push them down.

I loved this book. The characters are amazing and fully developed. I could feel the emotions of Siannon and Landyn throughout the book. I loved that the topic of anxiety was in the book. I know many people deal with this and I loved how this was incorporated in the book. I loved this book so much that I had to make myself put it down in order to get stuff done or even sleep. I didn't want the story to end. Good thing this is a part of series and the story will continue. All I can say is READ IT, you will not be disappointed!!!

This book has a lot of depth and brings in issues that are real and not given enough attention. I loved that this author brought in the difficulties PTSD can cause.

The story of Siannon and Landyn is one that I found to be very heartwarming. I love how she shows that the members of the band are normal people just like everybody else and that they have the same feelings and problems that the rest of us do.

I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't put the book down until I was done. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

A definite must read!!

What a great story, I loved everything about it. This story is brilliantly written and it has a lot of depth, it deals with serious issues such as PTSD and coping and living with anxiety attacks, having said this is a great story of love, self discovery, healing and friendship. It is sexy, funny, witty and emotional. The main characters Siannon
And Pinkie are brilliant and they way their friendship develops is wonderful to read. I enjoyed everything about it and recommend you add this to your TBR list, you won't regret it!!

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Not rough around the edges at all, that's what I was expecting just by the cover. Nope I think this book was a sweet love story with just the perfect amount of angst. I received a ARC from the author but being a KU subscriber I went ahead and read the edited and formatted version and I'm so glad I did. This was my first book by this author but just know book two is waiting for me to start as soon as I finish this review.

I loved it and I highly recommend this book and the author who has a very pleasing writing style. Thanks for the introduction I'm so glad I read this sweet love story.

What an awesome book!!! Lisa Marie did an amazing job! This is such a sweet love story and I loved how someone with PTSD, with help, was able to overcome! Siannon and Lexi had a golden ticket to meet their favorite band, Terminal. She totally blows it with her PTSD and runs away!! Little did she know the singer, Landyn was intrigued with her!! Does Siannon wind up with Landyn? Will Lexi wind up with her idol in this story? All good questions......... Read this book to see how Landyn and Siannon's love story unfolds!!

When I received a copy of this, I was a bit leary, as I hadn't ever read a rocker book before. I was so thrilled that I opened to the first chapter as I was hooked. Lisa Marie did a fabulous job with all the characters. I am so in love with them. Landyn helps support Siannon deal with phobias after suffering a traumatic event. They seem like they would be the most unlikely pair, but in reality, they are perfect. I look forward to reading the next in this series. 4.5/5

Lexi and Shiannon are good friends and Lexi helps with Shiannons anxiety attacks. They are both huge fans of the pop group Terminal both liking different members of the band. Landyn is the bad boy rock star with a big heart. There is a stalker, fans, band manager and other issues that try to split them up but their feelings for one another are strong.

I actually enjoyed the writing itself, although it does need a good editor. The story line was just too young for me [fangirl]. Sadly I'll pass on this but may check out other books by this author.
