“Daniel rise e strinse il suo compagno. «Devo essere davvero innamorato per amare anche questo tuo lato drammatico,» sussurrò baciandolo sulla fronte.
Alex sollevò il capo e lo guardò negli occhi, sbattendo le lunghe ciglia. «Hai appena detto… amare?» si accertò sentendo il cuore schizzargli dal petto.
«Ovvio. Sono innamorato, Alex. E di te, in caso la domanda seguente sia di chi? Sì. Ti amo.»
Alex deglutì a fatica e sorrise così ampiamente da farsi male alle guance. «Ti amo anch’io,» sussurrò finalmente, prima di baciare Daniel così intensamente da far restare entrambi senza fiato.”
Alex è un uomo soddisfatto della sua vita: vive con i due amici, Gabriel e Kevin, gestisce un negozio di animali e ha un’amica con cui esce ogni tanto; tutto viene stravolto quando i suoi amici accettano il nuovo coinquilino, Daniel.
Il nuovo arrivato è dolce, spiritoso, solare e.. gay. Alex ha difficoltà a rapportarsi con lui, non è omofobo ma avverte qualcosa dentro di sé, qualcosa che ha sempre tenuto nascosto e che la presenza di Daniel fa riaffiorare.
“Alex sapeva di dover solo lavorare un po’ sul problema che lo affliggeva per riuscire a capire come comportarsi con gli altri senza essere un perfetto stronzo, ma aveva paura. Aveva il presentimento che, se avesse permesso alle sensazioni legate ai suoi ricordi di venire in superficie, tutto sarebbe peggiorato. Era qualcosa di cui non aveva mai parlato con nessuno e aveva cercato di dimenticare. E a dire il vero non aveva mai sentito il bisogno di parlarne, nemmeno remotamente. Se la stava cavando bene vivendo nel mondo che si era costruito attorno, ma, per qualche strana ragione, ora che Daniel aveva rivelato il suo più grande segreto, si sentiva quasi obbligato a capire di più se stesso.”
Alex capisce di essere maleducato nei confronti di Daniel ma non può farne a meno, combatte contro se stesso, contro il suo carattere e soprattutto contro un ricordo della sua infanzia: quando il suo amico compagno di giochi lo deride e lo insulta.
“..da allora Alex si proibì di pensare a ciò che aveva provato quel giorno: l’eccitazione di guardare il pene di un altro ragazzo, la curiosità, ma più di ogni altra cosa, il desiderio. Era una cosa sbagliata. Era male. Era da sfigati.
Il bullismo non deve essere perpetrato in continuazione per ferire. In alcuni casi, una volta sola è sufficiente.”
Con il tempo Alex capisce che deve affrontare se stesso, i suoi sentimenti e le sue paure. Il ruolo dei suoi due amici coinquilini sarà fondamentale e Daniel con la sua amicizia e il suo affetto aprirà una breccia nel suo cuore.
“Quella notte, a letto, Daniel sorrideva perché pensava che forse Alex stesse iniziando ad apprezzarlo almeno un po’. E quella stessa notte, in un altro letto, Alex sorrideva perché finalmente si stava concedendo di apprezzare un po’ Daniel.”
Con uno stile fresco, semplice e scorrevole, Erin E. Keller ha scritto un romanzo in terza persona incentrato sulla storia d’amore tra Alex e Daniel.
Mi è piaciuto molto come ha caratterizzato il personaggio di Alex: è un uomo che ha sofferto, è cresciuto con il pensiero che gay significhi “sbagliato/da sfigati” e ora che sente qualcosa per Daniel fa di tutto per superare le sue paure; fallisce e ci riprova, finché riesce finalmente ad accettare il suo vero io e l’amore che prova per un altro uomo.
“Eri come sei” è un romanzo molto dolce, passionale e d’impatto; mi ha colpita e conquistata!
Assolutamente consigliato!

This was a story that is probably more boys’ stories than I’d like to admit. It was touching, soul searching, loving and forgiving.
I really enjoyed this story because the characters were so realistic in their reactions, feelings, their interactions with each other. It made for such a great story – but I am sorry that this is one that many boys go through.
Alex’s character rang so true – Alex struggled all his life to find himself. His friends were both loving and forceful when it came to Alex’s outbursts.
Daniel was a man who was comfortable with himself, but not necessarily happy.
When the two roommates clash – not only do they clash personally, they clash emotionally as well. The characters (even the friends) of this story were so great in that the author allowed the reader to see from each perspective.
I really thought Keller did an amazing job with this story and it had a great resolution.
I was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.

Prima di iniziare un libro di Erin E. Keller bisognerebbe leggere il foglietto illustrativo per prepararsi alle possibili conseguenze: lacrime, batticuore e risate. “Eri come sei” è un romanzo di soli 173 pagine che racchiude dolcezza, amore, paura e felicità trattando temi delicati come il bullismo e l'omofobia. Si perché nei libri di questa autrice oltre alla storia d'amore si trovano anche tematiche di vita quotidiana che purtroppo infliggono la nostra società. Riesce a trasmetterti il dolore e le difficoltà stordendoti con la loro potenza e realtà. Sono rimasta affascinata dai suoi libri, adoro il suo modo pulito e delicato di scrivere. Con parole semplici ti introduce nel suo mondo e nella sua storia.

In questo caso abbiamo un appartamento con quattro bellissimi uomini che dovranno affrontare la convivenza e la quotidianità. Due sono i protagonisti principali: Daniel e Alex. Daniel è un omosessuale dichiarato, dolce, paziente e premuroso mentre Alex è un etero non del tutto convinto che nasconde il suo vero io e che di conseguenza tratta tutti con arroganza e superficialità. Ma la scorza dura nasconde un cuore insicuro e ferito nel profondo. Devo dire che Alex è stato molto fortunato, perché ci fossi stata io, non avrei avuto tutta la pazienza che ha avuto Daniel. Con questo personaggio l'autrice ci ha creato e servito su un piatto d'argento il partner perfetto, secondo il mio parere, che mette tutto se stesso in un rapporto pensando sempre prima al bene dell'altra persona e che adora i bambini. Cosa non da poco!
“Felicità è qualcosa che senti, Alex. Non è qualcosa che decidi di sentire quando sei pronto.”
Complimenti anche ai due personaggi di contorno: i coinquilini Kevin e Gabriel che tentano in tutti i modi di aiutare la nostra coppia a trovare la giusta strada. Onestamente mi piacerebbe leggere le loro storie e vederle più approfondite, sono due personalità che rimangono nella mente. Ho divorato questo libro in un pomeriggio e ne consiglio la lettura a tutti i fan degli m/m.
«Ero etero, ok? Sono! Sono etero!» gridò istericamente. «Non è qualcosa che sparisce come un mal di denti!»
«Dipende. A volte se togli il dente, il dolore passa. Magari se provi…»
«Ti uccido prima che finisca la serata, Gabriel, lo giuro,» sibilò Alex.
«Sto solo dicendo che sì, hai ragione, ma se provi qualcosa per lui… dai, i sentimenti non hanno sesso, no?»
Questa volta fu il turno di Alex e Kevin di stupirsi.
«Devi metterla in una canzone,» mormorò Kevin, impressionato.
«Tu dici?» replicò Gabriel sorridendo luminoso.
«Voi due siete impossibili!» esclamò Alex alzandosi di nuovo dal divano. «Un poveraccio viene a sfogarsi e guarda cosa gli tocca sentire!»
«La verità non è sempre semplice da accettare.»

Put simply, What You Are is a story of self-acceptance. Although there are four male protagonists, this is really Alex’s story and his journey is not an easy one,
Alex hides one significant memory, behind a mask of bravado and aggression. Erin E Keller begins the story, showing him to be difficult and honestly, a bit of an ass! If anything his behaviour gets worse when Daniel moves in and I was pleased that Keith and Gabriel were there to confront him!
What begins as as an uncomfortable relationship between Alex and Daniel develops into a friendship both men rely upon, but Alex’s stubborn stupidity prevents this from advancing any further – and his insistence that he can’t possibly be gay.
It is at this point where are feelings towards Alex change permanently. We finally understand how badly this one incident in his past has changed him. This leads to one of my favourite scenes in the book; Alex’s conversation with Gabriel and Kevin, during which Gabriel utters an important five words,
‘ “ feelings have no gender, right? “ ‘
What You Are is not a straight man “becomes” gay story, instead Erin E Keller creates a character who has been in denial, until he realises that he must face his demons and admit who he really is. And yes this changes him, but only for the better.
Erin E Keller fills her novella with humor, emotion and genuine romance and I would love to read more by her soon.

Dans cette nouvelle, nous suivons plus particulièrement deux jeunes hommes : Daniel et Alex.
Ce dernier a longtemps été mal dans sa peau, complexé à l’adolescence par son physique peu gracieux et par ses lunettes. L’arrivée de Daniel dans sa vie va provoquer des bouleversements en lui et réveiller de vieilles blessures et incertitudes.
Nous avons là une histoire toute douce, souvent drôle, où l’on voit Alex passer par toutes les phases : l’interrogation, le déni, le désir qu’il ne comprend pas ... Face à lui, Daniel est très patient, doux, et tout simplement adorable.
L’histoire se développe tout en douceur, à mesure que la complicité se tisse entre les deux personnages, bien aidés, il faut le dire, par leurs deux autres colocs, qui sont à la fois drôles et bienveillants (je pense notamment à Gabriel et à son idée de génie pour l’anniversaire d’Alex).
Tu es ce que tu es est donc une nouvelle toute douce, où le désir et les sentiments montent peu à peu, romantique et amusante, qui risque bien de vous charmer !

Una storia deliziosa, che mescola tutte le abilità dell'autrice.
C'è romance, c'è erotismo, così come divertimento e dramma.
I personaggi hanno tutti un ottimo spessore, non solo i protagonisti, ma anche quelli minori (i due coinquilini musicisti meriterebbero un racconto breve tutto per loro!).
Alex, il protagonista, è qualcosa di delizioso, poiché il lettore si identifica subito in lui, provando empatia per via di ciò che gli è capitato da ragazzino e che ha finito per segnare la sua intera esistenza. In quanto ci si identifica in lui: a quanti di noi saranno capitate esperienze simili?
Alex è così adorabile che affronta il sentimento che prova nei confronti di Daniel, e che è ancora incapace di gestire, con il dramma dell'insicurezza da una parte e la bellezza del primo vero grande amore, amore che avrebbe anche potuto conoscere prima se non fosse stato "segnato".
Una citazione da ricordare su tutte: "i sentimenti non hanno sesso".
Frase da ricamare sul cuscino...

I really enjoyed this story. Main character Alex is a grumpy seemingly homophobic prick. Almost immediately in the story he behaves terribly toward a gay man and when he finds our his new roommate is gay his response is even worse. You can tell from the beginning that all is not as it seems though. I think I sympathize with Alex because I have also had a hard time letting go of hurtful words in the past. Daniel, on the other hand, is an absolute sweetheart. I think Alex and Daniel have great chemistry and I loved seeing them get their hea.

Une romance très douce, acidulée, mais parfois un peu trop facile à mon goût (le format nouvelle expliquant en grande partie ce sentiment).
Cependant Daniel et Alex sont deux héros très attachants, dont on ne souhaite que le bonheur.
Aidés en cela par les deux colocataires, ils vont malgré les embûches et les traumatismes anciens trouver leur équilibre.
Une nouvelle mignonne donc, qui plaira certainement aux amatrices de M/M-doudou.
Cependant Daniel et Alex sont deux héros très attachants, dont on ne souhaite que le bonheur.

Una delle cose che amo di più nei libri di Erin è la sua capacità di caratterizzare i personaggi in modo 'reale'. In molti libri del genere i personaggi sono 'costruiti', mentre Alex e Daniel sono noi. Potrebbero essere ognuno di noi, i nostri vicini di casa, i nostri amici ed è questo a rendere loro perfetti ed il libro bellissimo. Una storia d'amore. Vera e sentita.

Me he leído "Tal como eras" unas tres veces: la primera para leerlo, la segunda para profundizar y la última por gusto. La última vez tardé unas tres horas.
Cuenta la historia de Alex y de Daniel. Alex es un chico que traumatizado por un suceso en su adolescencia, finge ser alguien que no es y Daniel, un chico que busca un apartamento cuando rompe con su anterior novio. No es un chico gay afeminado, ni lo grita a los cuatro vientos, sólo es un chico normal al que le gustan otros chicos. Alex al principio es reacio a la presencia de Daniel, pero con el tiempo y con ayuda de sus amigos, ambos establecen una amistad muy cercana.
Los pensamientos de los personajes plagan el libro de forma que no tienes que leer entre líneas para saber qué piensan o cómo se sienten, lo cual está bien, aunque le quita un poco de misterio al asunto y lo hace algo predecible.
Los personajes como tal me han gustado mucho, ya que estoy algo acostumbrada a leer al típico macho hetero y el amigo gay o los cambiaformas que tienen que aparearse o cosas así. Es agradable leer y saber de ellos poco a poco, con el romance fraguándose de forma lenta. La presencia de las miradas y el coqueteo, las acciones de los personajes, hacen que sea una novela muy visual. Casi me parecía estar viendo una película en mi cabeza.
Es un libro que se lee fácilmente, es de esos que empiezas y continuas y continuas, porque no te pesa la lectura. No es de los que te absorben como un hechizo en los que no puedes parar de leer, ni tampoco es de los que podrías dejar a medias y ni te importaría. Es uno de esos libros, que sin ser ni una cosa ni la otra, lees con gusto y que al final te deja con buen sabor de boca. Como cuando te comes un helado y el día no es excesivamente caluroso, te refresca y te hace sentir mejor.
Está muy bien escrito, me agrada mucho el tono de los personajes, los secundarios son geniales, Kevin es magistral, pero mi favorito es Alex, que es irónico a más no poder, cosa que me encanta. Te entran ganas de darle un coscorrón en varias ocasiones, pero luego quieres darle un achuchón; es como dice Daniel, adorable. Alex es tozudo, duro de sesera (como diría mi abuela que en paz descanse) y muy reacio a dejar la vida que lleva por algo que puede o podría no ser.
Daniel por el contrario es optimista, alegre, bueno, porque es que el chaval es bueno, no hay otra forma de describirlo, y realmente, lo que yo llamo una persona “bonita”; básicamente, no tiene defectos lo mires por donde lo mires. Así que me gustó mucho cuando en una escena del libro le pone las cartas sobre la mesa a Alex y le deja patidifuso.
Erin, sin duda, sabe crear personajes que te gusten, y a los que apoyes, por muy idiotas que sean.
Me ha gustado mucho el detalle de que Daniel tenga una fascinación por las gafas de Alex. Como persona que lleva gafas, este detalle suele ser usado por lo general como burla hacia el personaje que las lleva. Que cause deseo y sonrojos, en vez de mofa, es un bonito cambio. (¿Tendrá Daniel un hermano gemelo?).
Lo mejor: Alex. Y Kevin. Y Daniel. ¿He dicho ya Alex? Las relaciones entre ellos, sus conversaciones, es una novela sin prisas, para una tarde distendida y para leer con una gran taza de té, tapada con una mantita.
Lo peor: Más. Me he quedado con ganas de un poco más. Siento que le han faltado un par de capítulos. Más interacción con la madre de Alex, no sabemos nada de la familia de Daniel, esas cosas.
En conclusión, una novela entretenida, romántica, agradable, sin fuegos artificiales, pero dulce sin llegar a ser empalagosa. Me hubiera gustado ver un poco más de la relación de ellos ya cómo pareja, lo cual ya me pasó con otras novelas, pero es un buen final. Es un final comienzo, por así decirlo.

Oh, what to say about Alex? He’s pretty sure he knows who he is, where he’s going and he’s pretty laid back about it all. His girlfriend is attentive, his roommates, Gabriel and Kevin, are a little crazy but definitely good friends and his likes his life. Status quo.
Until..
Daniel, the outgoing, happy, beautiful thing that he is shows up in Alex’s world as the new roommate. Consider that world rocked. Especially since Daniel is gay and out, sweet and seemingly impervious to the discourtesy and near homophobia that Alex throws his way sometimes. What’s a guy to do?
Well, if you are Alex you push the man away, pull him back, try to face your fears, push everything away, repeat. It takes Daniel patience and time to chip away at the layers of ice Alex has erected around himself and his heart. He’s just an awesome character, Daniel. All the characters here are well developed and “real”.
It did take me a while to warm up to Alex – he’s so chill in the beginning and then his treatment of Daniel is so offensive. He is like that about Matt, roommate Gabriel’s friend who is “too gay” but he’s worse with Daniel. “But not everyone lives in the great rainbow of gay love, you know?” No, but not everyone is an ignorant jerk either. And for his part, Daniel is a kind person but he isn’t a doormat. “You know, Alex, even if someone tells me you’re not as bad as you seem to be, I won’t stay here to be insulted at every chance.” Good for you, Daniel!
For his part, Daniel has had just one serious boyfriend, since high school, and they broke up as friends. The respectful way Daniel spoke of him said a lot about Daniel (if I didn’t admire him already!)
Even his willingness to cover for Alex, “If you want I can tell them you were too drunk and you fell asleep” just makes him seem loyal. I am definitely a Daniel fan, even if his mistake with Matt did change my view of him a bit. Made him less perfect, more real. Although it made me love Matt even more!
Luckily, Alex will grow on you. He makes some mistakes. Okay, he makes a lot of mistakes and he takes one step forward and two back, and he hurts Daniel sometimes. But he is trying and he does make progress. He’s overcoming some big time hurt. “He knew this new Alex was the real Alex, the one many years ago was chubby and shy. The one his friend Ben had thrown away.”
Something I particularly loved about this story was how the ramifications of bullying reach so far into the person’s future. This wasn’t the worst bullying in history but it affected Alex in such a major way, basically stunting his view of himself and making him unable to accept himself. It’s so hard and it takes so much work. But, “it was as if the glass through which he’d been observing that life had been lifted.”

A Joyfully Jay review.

This is a cute and sweet story of self discovery. Alex is living with his hard partying, musician, best friends when Daniel just shows up at the door one day as a new roommate. His other roommate had arranged the meeting and, although Daniel is a stranger to all of them, he moves in that night. Hard to believe, but go with it. Alex has issues, tries to steer clear of gay men, and when he finds out Daniel is gay, keeps his distance. We do learn that Alex was bullied as a kid and something significant happened to deny his true sexual feelings for over a decade. This is a character driven book and Alex’s journey is not as an easy one. He is attracted to Daniel, but his journey of acknowledging these feelings and beginning a relationship is well done and realistic.
The overwhelming issue with this book is the dialog and overall structure. From the first page, the dialog is awkward, stilted, and some of the sentence structure is off. The guys range from speaking casually, to awkward casual, to sounding formal, to using transitions or words like “moreover” and “irremediably” that sound like they are reading a research paper, to using words that are not a natural part of conversation. The guys are in their late 20s, living in LA, and their word choices did not capture their age or their location, or at times their relationships with each other. I stared highlighting examples, soon realized a good portion of the book would be highlighted, and had to put the book down at one point as it started to hurt my head. I then did some research and discovered that this book is listed on Amazon as first being published in 2013 in Italian. I also read a blog post by the author stating that this was the first book she has published in English. It then all clicked as I realized the dialog and sentence structure does not read as if English is the characters’ first language. I will tell you this is extremely unfortunate as the story that was given between the lines was engaging. When Alex and Daniel do get together their connection is evident and the intimate scenes are hot. This may have had to do with the fact that there was less dialog in these scenes.

Tre inquilini giovani, simpatici e carini (di cui due aspiranti rockstar), un appartamento troppo grande da mantenere, un quarto ragazzo in arrivo e che provoca – del tutto inaspettatamente – scompiglio. Forse potrebbe trattarsi di un caso di semplice antipatia “a pelle”, ma in realtà l’apparente e ingiustificata ostilità di Alex per il nuovo coinquilino Daniel nasconde ben altro, e nasce da paure che si sono sedimentate ben prima che i due si incontrassero.
La verità è che Alex non è facile da maneggiare, come un pacco molto fragile. In passato qualcosa nel profondo gli è si è incrinato, e Alex non potrà essere veramente se stesso (compresa l’accettazione del ragazzo che vive dentro di lui, con bellissimi occhi verdi ma cieco come una talpa) e non potrà aprirsi con Daniel finché non avrà rimesso a posto le cose.
Una storia stupenda, che rispecchia perfettamente i tratti dello stile di Erin, divertente e ironica da un lato, romantica e da brividi al momento giusto. Le scene di Alex e Daniel sono dolci e passionali allo stesso tempo, e tutti i vari personaggi di contorno (da Gabriel innamorato e con lo sguardo perso nel vuoto, a Ken e Matt, tutti sono pressoché perfetti).
E poi ci viene regalata una delle definizioni più belle di felicità che ho letto ultimamente e che condivido in toto: «Felicità è qualcosa che senti, Alex. Non è qualcosa che decidi di sentire quando sei pronto.»

When Daniel moves into a house with Alex, Gabriel and Kevin, all four boys` life changes.
In good ways, in different ways, sometimes a little bad, sometimes it is what you think, but mostly in a great and lovely way.
All the people here are lovable, great individuates, their interactions are sweet and believable, and the love story are everything you can wish for in a loveable and dreamy way.

E' difficile combattere contro se stessi e allo stesso tempo, riuscire a comprendere il proprio io interiore. Mettere da parte le proprie paure e complessi, per riuscire infine ad accettarsi per chi e per ciò che si è in realtà, lasciando spazio a quei sentimenti che hanno fatto breccia nel tuo cuore, spezzando le catene che lo tenevano legato.
Alex riuscirà in tutto questo, trovando la chiave del lucchetto: Daniel.

La scrittura lineare, fluida e scorrevole di Erin E. Keller sa coinvolgere il lettore anche in questo suo nuovo romanzo.
Protagonisti sono Alex e Daniel e il loro rapporto non nasce proprio nel migliore dei modi a causa del caratteraccio del primo che dopo aver subito del bullismo omofobo da adolescente, ha rinnegato se stesso e la sua vera identità.
Fra piccoli passi e grandi sconvolgimenti, Eri come sei, racconta una storia davvero bella da scoprire.
L’amicizia, l’amore, le paure e la passione sono solo alcuni dei temi che l’autrice affronta con il suo tipico garbo e la innata delicatezza.
"Eri come sei" di Erin E. Keller è un romanzo che fa bene al cuore.

La sinossi di questo libro mi ha particolarmente incuriosito per il tema trattato. Non tollero le discriminazioni, il bullismo, il razzismo e l’omofobia. Leggendo questo romanzo mi sono rincuorato perché la storia fa capire che le discriminazioni, il bullismo, il razzismo e l’omofobia forse non si potranno eliminare completamente dalle nostre vite ma si possono perlomeno isolare con il coraggio di vivere la propria esistenza senza aver paura dei pregiudizi...

Una storia bellissima. Le parole scorrono come acqua per il lettore, i personaggi sono talmente descritti bene che sembra quasi di poterci dialogare. Tutto in questo racconto affascina in maniera così intensa da voler scoprire sempre di più pagina dopo pagina.

I loved the Italian version of this book, but I wanted to enjoy even the English version because I never have enough of Alex and Daniel.

No es mi estilo de libro definitivamente.
La historia de Alex, un chico que está dentro del armario. Un día llega Dani a vivir al departamento que comparte con los amigos y comienza a sentir cosas que creía muertas y olvidadas.
El libro no es malo en sí, pero creo que le falta trabajo. Hay partes en que se llega a conocer a Alex, con sus miedos, con su historia (lo mas trabajado del libro). Pero no conocemos a Dani. ¿Qué pasa con él? ¿De donde viene? ¿sufrió por la separación de su novio de toda la vida? No lo sabemos.
Dani queda prendado de Alex a penas lo ve. (Instalove) y eso es el personaje, alguien que se enamora de Alex. (cosa que se entendería si el libro estuviera narrado en primera persona, pero no es así)
Por otra parte, la autora resuelve con mucha rapidez el romance con diálogos en exceso cursis para mi. Una vez que el personaje se acepta, en dos días le cuenta a su madre, enfrenta su miedo (una de las partes más clichés) y además ya están pensando en una vida juntos.
En fin no es lo mio para nada.
La historia de Alex, un chico que está dentro del armario. Un día llega Dani a vivir al departamento que comparte con los amigos y comienza a sentir cosas que creía muertas y olvidadas.
El libro no es malo en sí, pero creo que le falta trabajo. Hay partes en que se llega a conocer a Alex, con sus miedos, con su historia (lo mas trabajado del libro). Pero no conocemos a Dani. ¿Qué pasa con él? ¿De donde viene? ¿sufrió por la separación de su novio de toda la vida? No lo sabemos.
Dani queda prendado de Alex a penas lo ve. (Instalove) y eso es el personaje, alguien que se enamora de Alex. (cosa que se entendería si el libro estuviera narrado en primera persona, pero no es así)
Por otra parte, la autora resuelve con mucha rapidez el romance con diálogos en exceso cursis para mi. Una vez que el personaje se acepta, en dos días le cuenta a su madre, enfrenta su miedo (una de las partes más clichés) y además ya están pensando en una vida juntos.
En fin no es lo mio para nada.

Tal como eras es un historia donde los protagonistas son Daniel y Alex, quienes se conocen gracias a que Daniel se muda al apartamento de Alex y sus dos amigos, Gabriel y Kevin.
Alex es un chico tímido que tuvo una mala experiencia y se encierra en si mismo por lo cual, puede parecer un poco engreído, petulante y hasta homofóbico.
Daniel por otra parte, es una dulzura de chico, además de que es increíblemente paciente y amable.
Ahora bien, tuve que ser paciente con Alex desde un inicio porque está confundido y aferrado a permanecer en su caparazón, teniendo al miedo como un increíble obstáculo potencial pero aún así le fuí tomando mucho cariño; Daniel me robó el corazón de una y no creo que me lo devuelva.
En cuanto a Kevin me parece un amigo increíble, y bueno Gabriel es un amigo agradable también a su manera.
En fin, no fue súper impactante pero sí me gustó el libro.

No tengo mucho para decir, lo unico que me esperaba algo totalmente diferente y me encontre con lo opuesto.
No conecte para nada y la relacion se me hizo rara y toxica. Falta de comunicacion y personajes que no tolere un solo segundo.
Quisiera darle otra oportunidad a la autora, a ver si me encuentro con algo diferente en sus otros trabajos.

La storia è carina, analizza due temi importanti: bullismo e omofobia che non se ne parla mai abbastanza.
La scrittura scorrevole e dinamica: non annoia con ripetizioni inutili a sottolineare l'ovvio, come troppo spesso accade.
Il romanzo è coinvolgente ma non fino in fondo, perché purtroppo, ad un certo punto tutto accade troppo velocemente come ci sia una gran voglia di concluderlo. Peccato!

Es la historia más hermosa que he leído este año. Y la quise volver a leer en cuanto terminé. Los protagonístas son muy tiernos y se ganaron mi amor para siempre <3.
