Gahhhh Jade how could you do my boy Jax dirty like that and end it like that on me?!?
I thought Baydel was bad boy was I wrong.
I love that we get to see more with Ivy and Lacey. They are just the best of friends and what Rylee needs with everything going on. Also loving Ash so much. He’s living his best little cat life now.

I enjoyed this continuation of The Never List well enough, but at the same time, I couldn't wait for it to be over. I am truly enjoying the plot as a whole, and the characters are well done. With that being said, it felt incredibly rushed, despite it's length. As much as I adore a dedicated, "burn the world down for her" MMC, the romance between them just doesnt feel true. It felt rushed to begin with, and it carried through in thos book. And finally, the last big thing that bothered me was I was never really certain how much time had passed unless specifically told. It felt like, to me, that all this stuff had happened in a matter of a couple months, though you're made aware that its actually been multiple at times. Overall, I am enjoying the series, but I am not sure if I will be running to finish is when book 3 comes out. However, with that said I think it would be a phenomenal starter romantasy.

Absolutely incredible second book in this series. A MUST READ! ASAP!!!!!!

The cliff hanger from The Never List had me begging for more.

Rylee, Jax, Kal Pierce and Axl are back and now put to the test by Baydel while still having to battle against the challenges set forth by the ruling Kings. Rylee is a so incredible in what she has become and how she learns to master everything thrown at her.

It's so fast paced that your hooked in from the first page. You also see more of Evaluna and learn of her involvement in the past and how she wants to help Rylee in the present.

Then there is the conflict with the Faders and how to go about dealing them as well as Rylee's sister's involvement.

The spice is spectacular as always .

Devoured this book! Can't wait for more!

Thank goodness that’s over. The only reason I chose to finish this audiobook is because I’ve DNF’d too many books this year for my liking. I enjoyed book 1 in this series for what it was - good spice with enough plot to hold it up. Now in book 2, it felt like everything was lacking. No built up to the spice, and I didn’t find the spicy scenes to be all that interesting this time around. I’m not invested in the plot at all, I don’t really like any of the characters. In a “why choose” romance, there should be at least ONE character that’s my favorite, but no.

Book 2 did not disappoint. I did the audio of this book and it was so good! Rylee and her 4 mates have my heart. There is so much that is happening and so many people that are playing a role in this story line. I'm so intrigued. I have so many questions. Granted that some were answered in book two. The cliffhanger is killing me. Now I have to wait till Apill 2027...... NOOOOOOO.....

So disappointed in this sequel, loved the first book and the premise is great, but the writing lets it down imo😔 The 🌶️ scenes are so repetitive, formulaic and sadly boring! Please don’t use the same phrases over and over in the third book. And keening is such an unsexy word!
