The emotional and uplifting new novel from the author of the million-copy bestselling Cockleberry Bay series.
Life at the Seahaven Bay Retreat is flourishing, but Rita Jory’s second chance at happiness is about to face its biggest test yet. When Jago’s glamorous French ex-wife appears on the doorstep with a five-year-old daughter in tow, their blossoming relationship hangs by a thread.
Between juggling retreat guests seeking healing, her daughter Sennen’s desperate need for a last-minute wedding venue, and dealing with Elodie’s impossible demands, Rita’s already stretched to breaking point.
Then some very unexpected news forces her to reconsider everything she thought she wanted. But can she trust Jago with her secret and embrace the new life ahead?
Rita must decide whether to protect her heart or fight for her future.
A joyful, tender and laugh-out-loud tale of family, forgiveness and finding the courage to say yes to life’s beautiful surprises. Perfect for fans of Jill Mansell, Jojo Moyes and Amanda Prowse.
Returning to Seahaven Bay felt a little like coming home. Nicola May’s writing creates a real sense of place, and I already had a vivid picture in my mind of the farm, retreat, the local pub, and views across the sea. Another virtual setting I would love to visit.
When we left, Rita Jory was celebrating the inaugural season with her retreat, the start of a burgeoning romance with Jago, and her children's positive decisions. Life was looking pretty good. As this book opens, it’s Valentine’s Day, and her relationship with Jago is moving along swiftly. The only question is whether Rita has fully accepted the death of her late husband, Archie.
I absolutely love Rita. Her ability to multitask is admirable, yet despite her obvious capabilities, she has enough vulnerabilities to remind us that she is human. It’s those vulnerabilities that drive this story, as she must contend with interference from Elodie, Jago’s ex-wife, who is French and stunning. Rita’s reactions to Elodie’s presence are totally relatable, and my heart went out to her. Thankfully, she has an army of support guiding her through the turmoil caused by her arrival.
There’s another influx of guests to the retreat, each bringing their own stories and need for healing. I love how Nicola May introduces these transient characters and carefully reveals their hidden secrets. I particularly liked Priya and hope to see her again on our next visit.
My favourite supporting character is Hilda, Rita’s ex-mother-in-law; she is a fount of both mischief and wisdom. Her antics are hilarious, and her stories are legendary, but her heart is the size of a small country. She loves Rita and wants her to find happiness even if it is with a Jenken!
I loved this. I loved being back at Seahaven Retreat and Rita, Teo and Zen. This story flowed easily and I found I couldn’t put it down. I liked the idea of an older woman falling pregnant again, as a woman of a similar age, you just always assume it won’t happen.
I loved the relationship between Rita and her 2 adult children Thom and Sen and how they rally round to support her and her relationship with Jago, whilst they had issues, I loved that they recognised that even whilst fighting and spending time apart they still loved each other and wanted to find a way to move forward together.
Such a wonderful community and some amazing views described. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Returning to Seahaven Bay feels like being wrapped in a cozy blanket or wrapping your hands around a warm cup of coffee. There’s humor, sadness, anger, and intrigue but it’s handled gently and as a reader you just glide through the story. Rita is a stronger version of herself, even if she sometimes gets in her own way. Of course there is a happy ending with promise of big changes at the end.
Thanks to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the arc.
This book stressed me out a little and comforted me at the same time, which honestly feels very on brand for life after 40. One minute I was smiling at the cozy seaside retreat vibes and the next I was fully irritated with Jago and his inability to use common sense around his ex-wife. Men in fiction really do love making things harder than they need to be.
Storm Publishing, thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the gifted ARC.
Marry Me in Seahaven Bay was such a nice return to these characters. Rita is still trying to hold everything together while life keeps tossing new chaos directly into her path. Between retreat guests arriving, wedding drama, health worries, family stress, and Jago’s glamorous ex suddenly showing back up with a child in tow… this poor woman barely had time to breathe. Honestly, I felt stressed for her half the time.
But that’s also why I liked this so much. Rita feels like a real woman with real worries. She’s not perfect, she overthinks, she doubts herself, she gets emotional, and she’s trying to figure out whether opening her heart again is worth the risk. I really connected with that part of the story.
And Hilda absolutely steals scenes every single time she appears. She says the things everyone else is thinking and brought so much humor to the heavier moments. Every family has somebody like that and if they don’t… it might actually be you.
The retreat itself continues to be one of my favorite parts of this series. The yurts, the sea swimming, the community, the guests all bringing their own stories and baggage with them—it just makes Seahaven Bay feel warm and lived in. I could practically smell the salty air while reading.
There’s definitely drama here, but underneath all of it this is really a story about second chances, family, friendship, getting older, and realizing life rarely goes according to plan. Sometimes that’s where the good stuff happens.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
“She had to decide whether to protect her heart or fight for her future.”
If you love cozy seaside fiction with heart, humor, messy relationships, and characters who feel like people you actually know, this one is worth picking up. Also now I desperately want a weekend at a seaside retreat with a stack of books and nobody asking me to answer emails.
Do you enjoy books where the setting feels cozy enough to move into?
Big thanks to Storm Publishing, NetGalley, and author Nicola May for the ARC.
With the second installment of the series, we are back in Seahaven Bay Retreat with Rita, Teo, Zenya, Jago, and all the other lovable cast of characters from Escape to Seahaven Bay. Rita and Jago are living the second spring of their lives, and the retreat is thriving. With a new group of guests comes new stories, new connections, and a new wave of drama, because it's not only the guests who arrive with baggage... Jago's ex-wife, Elodie, shows up unannounced with her 5-year-old daughter, Amelie, and muddies the waters for both Rita and Jago. Meanwhile, there is a last-minute wedding to be held at the retreat that's approaching, but someone is determined to make things much harder for Rita.
I loved the settings and the mood of this second book just as much as I did the first one. Rita is still the strong and determined woman I remember, and it made me feel like coming back home when Teo and Zenya also appeared alongside her. I can describe this story as a feel-good slice of life that lets you slow down and have a reading retreat, if I may say so. Overall, I liked how the story developed and the new elements of intrigue woven into it.
In all honesty, what didn't work for me (just like in the first book) is the relationship and its progress between Jago and Rita. It is not the nature of their relationship itself, because their bond is adorable, and Jago is a walking green flag in many ways. However, his identity and family relation to Rita's late husband haven't been sitting right with me since the first book of the series, which makes it harder to root for and connect with their relationship.
That being said, there is something addictive in the vibes of Seahaven Bay, and I will most definitely be the first in line to read a third installment in the series.
This is the second book in the series and having mostly enjoyed the first I decided to give this one a try.
One of my problems with the first book was the smattering of bad language - this was present in this book but much less so. It seemed that ‘fornication’ was a recurring word in this book - which just gave me a chuckle.
Again we met Rita Jory and her beau Jago - the half brother of her recently passed husband. We learnt more about her twins Sennen and Thomas and their lives and relationships. Though Thomas couldn’t realise when a woman was good for him and thought the grass greener. Jago’s ex-wife Elodie appears and with her, her daughter Amelie. Her intentions were not good and poor Jago was betrayed badly.
Rita is still running her Seahaven Retreat - and steps in when a local wedding venue double books itself and Sennen needs a wedding venue. Which tied in very cleverly with characters from book one - and was totally unexpected. Hilda is still a scream and an irascible mother-in-law. She also has a secret side as well as romance in her soul. As well as her interest in a ‘good funeral’ But a near tragic fire is hard for Hilda and her relationship with a younger man. At 46 Rita finds herself in an unexpected predicament- will Jago be pleased or run a mile? Thankfully there is a third book in the series and hopefully this loose end will be resolved and it appears that there may be another wedding at Seahaven Retreat.
This book was well written and well described - you could imagine the beautiful Cornish scenes and I really look forward to more peace and love at Seahaven Bay
Thank you to Storm Publishing and Nicola May for the arc of this book.
And then there is more news that takes Rita by storm. This book is a 100% slice of life. With so many real-to-life events taking place that it has you both in tears of laughter and tears of sadness (when her dog dies, I wept, as my own dog passed a few months ago). There is a distinct tug-of-war in her conflict over her relationship with Jago, the man she loves but will refuse to be with if he doesn't let go of his ex turning up. I loved how down-to-earth Rita was, and all the side characters in this book make it a fantastic read. It was also refreshing not to read about billionaires or sports romance, and to have a clean romance that was utterly on point and made you feel like you were part of Seahaven Bay. This is the first time I have read anything by Nicola May, and I was truly captivated and am now compelled to read her other titles. Kerry Kennedy Author
It was so good to be back at the Seahaven Bay Retreat with Rita and the rest of the gang. Rita has a lot on her plate with a wedding to help plan with her daughter and Jargo’s ex turning up, along with the running of the retreat. The surprises don’t end there though, and I wasn’t sure I envied the position she finds herself in.
Hilda, Rita’s mother-in-law, is hilarious as always and there are definitely no filters with her. Along with the usual characters, we get to meet a new bunch who have booked the retreat and it was lovely getting to know everyone as they are a mix of personalities. There are some highs and lows in this story. One had me sobbing like a baby. Whilst there are some endearing moments, there are also plenty of laughs along the way. Nothing seems to go to plan for poor Rita but what the story does highlight is the goodness in people along with great friendships and family.
Marry Me in Seahaven Bay was a much welcome return to an idyllic setting and some of the best characters. It had me go through so many emotions but ultimately it was an uplifting and joyous read. I really enjoyed the first book in the series but this one was even better and I can’t wait for the next book to see what else is in store for Rita, as life is definitely going to be more interesting! A gorgeous life affirming read!
Thanks to @stormpublishing and @Netgalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
Pack your bags, because we are heading straight to the coast! 🌊✨ The absolute queen of feel-good fiction, Nicola May, is back with Marry Me in Seahaven Bay, and it is a total, heartwarming masterpiece. If you need a book that feels like a warm hug, a salty sea breeze, and a glass of crisp white wine all rolled into one, THIS IS IT. 🥂💙 We’re back at the gorgeous Seahaven Bay Retreat where Rita Jory is supposed to be living her best life. Her second chance at happiness with Jago is blooming... until life decides to throw the ultimate curveball. 🏡💥 Enter Jago’s glamorous French ex-wife. On the doorstep. With a five-year-old daughter no one knew about. The drama! The audacity! 😱🇫🇷 Poor Rita is officially stretched to her absolute limit. She’s trying to manage: * Healing retreat guests (who probably need extra healing now) 🧘♀️ * Her daughter Sennen’s chaotic, last-minute wedding venue crisis 👰♀️ * The glamorous ex-wife's impossible, diva-level demands 👑 * And a massive, life-changing secret of her own that changes everything... 🤫❤️ My heart absolutely ached for Rita, but watching her navigate the chaos with so much grace, humor, and grit was beautiful. Nicola May weaves this gorgeous, emotional tapestry of family, forgiveness, and the terrifying beauty of opening your heart up when you’re terrified it’ll break. 🥹 It’s laugh-out-loud funny, deeply tender, and will make you want to move to a coastal retreat immediately. A spectacular reminder that life’s best surprises usually come wrapped in a little bit of chaos. 🌊🐚 Run, don’t walk, to add this gorgeous read to your summer stack! 📚👇 My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 (Pure coastal perfection) Vibe: Emotional, uplifting, and deliciously dramatic 🌊✨
I loved returning to Seahaven Bay, and finding out what happened to Rita and her farm, along with her family and brood of staff (sorry support system!). This has some more tough themes and is a great read which challenges your way of thinking, let alone that Rita is dating her brother-in-law,,, and for the details on that, you need to read the previous book.
The opening book is not a traditional one, effectively with Rita splitting up with her partner, and not knowing what is going to happen next... she is given a deadline of a few months away and has to then decide what she wants out of her relationship..
On top of that, her daughter (a wedding planner) arrives and Rita's retreat suddenly needs to become a last minute wedding venue, because the previous venue has let her down - so the retreat also has to pivot, and the whole team on the farm has to learn quickly on the job!
The description of the retreat and what its participants have to go through is tangible, I mean, who doesn't need a stone ceremony or to go and see seals, and this is the way to process what you are going through in life.
There are also a couple of twists in the tale about Rita and her relationship, and not knowing whether what was happening is true or a lie...
This is a wonderful holiday read, and knowing it's never too late to start again!
PS - the ending and the wedding itself - not one to miss!

Best-selling British author Nicola May returns to the Cotswold coast with the second in the Seahaven Bay series, ' Marry Me in Seahaven Bay. While this novel is part of a series, it does stand-alone. Life at the Seahaven Bay Retreat is going well as they are getting booked for their wellness retreats. However, Rita Jory's second chance at love is being put to the test as Jago Jenkin's ex-wife has shown up with a daughter in tow. Is the child his and will this second chance at love survive the test.
Rita finds herself dealing with her own personal struggle as well as her daughter, Sennen's desperate need for a wedding venue, Hilda's antics and everything that comes along with guests at the retreat. This novel had many highs and lows as the retreat guests grow and deal with personal struggles and let nature heal them. The cast of characters were inviting and draws the reader in with their many issues. This was a novel that drew me in and will have me coming back for more. I will be picking up the first novel to see how it all began.
If you are looking for an idyllic setting with a welcoming cast of characters, this novel is for you.
Book 2 in the Seahaven Bay series, and it was so lovely to be back in familiar surroundings with Rita and the cast of characters we were introduced to in Book 1! And it's more of the same in this story, with new hurdles placed in the way of getting on with their lives, both professionally and personally and I love how the author creates such fascinating scenarios to play out on the pages we read.
Rita and Jago are all loved up but there's trouble ahead with his past showing up in the form of his ex, as well as the issues they are both still struggling with after their loss of Archie, her husband, and Jago's brother. Is their relationship based on true feelings or still the grief they are both going through?
And there's new avenues to be explored with her business too as a wedding venue wasn't on her plan, but she's thrown in at the deep end and you can't but admire her 'can do' attitude! And there's real drama thrown into the mix as well which took me by surprise, and added another element to the story as things reveal themselves! I'm saying no more, you'll just have to read it for yourself to find out more!! I just cannot wait to see what happens in the next installment!!
Thank you NetGalley, Storm Publishing and Nicola May for the Advanced Reader Copy!
When I saw that a second part of a Nicola May series was coming out, I knew I wanted to read it. I thoroughly enjoyed Cockleberry Bay and Ferry Lane in the past. In Escape to Seahaven Bay, I got to know Rita. She is 15 years older than I am and older than the main characters from the previous series, so perhaps that’s why I couldn't identify with her as much. While I had to get used to her in the first book, I understood her actions better in this sequel; Marry me in Seahaven Bay.
Life can be messy, but in this series, it is perhaps a bit too messy. For me, it was all just a little too much to be believable. I also noticed that I kept my distance from the relationship between Rita and Jago, with Jago being essentially Rita's brother-in-law. Since he also resembles Archie, I can't shake the feeling that that's why Rita is drawn to him.
Nevertheless, I flew through this book. The retreat is a place I would love to visit myself, and Hilda is hilarious. For me, there is just a bit too much going on. It’s all a bit too chaotic and, as I mentioned before, messy to be realistic. Nevertheless, I can imagine that for the right reader, it’s a wonderful escape to Seahaven Bay.
I was swept right back into the world of Rita Jory and the community in Seahavem Bay with this second book in the series. Rita is a woman of a certain age, a widow with two grown children and a fledgling business started after the death of her husband. The wellness retreat has been well received by the locals and those who have stayed, and Rita's romance with the neighbour, who also has a bit of a complicated connection with her late husband, is blossoming. In the first book, we hear so many secrets, and though most are accepted, there are still other little things coming out of the woodwork through book two. First, an ex-wife appears, then Rita discovers something about herself... All with the retreat needing to be used for a wedding, a new band of guests with their own issues, and an intruder who threatens to put the kibosh on the whole site and business! So much going on! I loved seeing what the original characters were up to, and I love Teo, Rita's husband's son from another relationship, who treats Rita like his own mother. Rita certainly goes through the wringer, again, losing another loved one, but gaining many more in the process If you love stories with family at the heart, and a gorgeous village setting, then you won't be disappointed!
Although you can definitely read this as a standalone, I would recommend reading the first in the series as then you will really understand the friendships and relationships between the characters. Rita has established her retreat and part of the enjoyment is seeing the variety of guests who come to stay and their reasons for doing so. Rita's second chance romance is not going to plan and stirs up in her all sorts of emotions, including jealousy and inadequacy. Rita's family are a source of both comfort and worry as their own concerns play out. It is not all plain sailing in the retreat with the weather intervening at one point and causing havoc. This gives the characters the opportunity to show how they can work together and for Rita to see that she can be a strong and independent woman. Although she thinks of herself as middle aged, there is a huge surprise coming into her life which will test her to the limit. Throughout the story, Rita’s relationship with Jory is uncertain but she has the chance to decide what she really wants for her future. Thanks to the publisher In short: family and friendships
This sounded like an interesting book so I requested an early edition from NetGalley. Thanks to the publishers for choosing to give me a copy.
It was a fun read, a good-sized cast of varied characters. There's a lot going on in this book. The story is centered on Rita, a middle aged widow, her current love, Jago, and their small, beautiful seaside town.
Jago's former wife had previously left him for his best friend and has come back with a daughter, begging for his help. Apparently the new relationship has broken. Jago is soft hearted and threatens his new relationship with his kindness and generosity towards his ex.
Rita, meanwhile is scrambling to accommodate guests at her new business, while also trying to schedule a wedding on her property because the previous venue cancelled two weeks before the wedding. Then, Rita finds that she is pregnant. And this is just a sampling of the issues going on in Rita's life. A fire complicates things even more.
Although I enjoyed the book, I think it would have been better to have read the previous book (Escape to Seahaven Bay) in the series first.
I received an advance review copy for free thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

My Opinion
Marry Me in Seahaven Bay is the second book in the Seahaven Bay series and I would recommend reading the books in the correct order. With a welcoming community and a lovely setting, this was a great addition to the series. A quick and easy read.
Returning to Seahaven Bay for another group attending the retreat things are going well - until Jago's glamorous ex turns up. Adding to that Rita's daughter Sennen, following a sudden cancellation at a wedding venue that she has been organising, asks her mother whether she can hold the wedding there. It's always good to return to the setting of a book that I've enjoyed, although this can be read as a standalone book, especially for me when it's set in Cornwall. There is an assorted collection of guests in this latest group, each with a special reason for attending. Add in the strain in Rita and Jago's relationship caused by his ex turning up and things don't go smoothly. It does show how attending such a retreat can be so helpful for people, certainly I wouldn't mind attending. The start of the show is Hilda, Rita's mother in law, full of wise cracks whilst hiding her caring nature. A good summer read, 4.5* rounded up to 5*. I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.
This may be read as a stand-alone but to fully appreciate the many quirks and peculiarities of the characters, read Escape to Seahaven Bay first.
Finding herself in severe financial difficulties after being widowed, Rita Jory turns her farm into Seahaven Bay Wellness Retreat. Yurts in the top meadow for guest accommodation, providing healthy meals, sea swimming, yoga and meditation, all become a flourishing business.
Rita is happily in love the second time around, until Jago drops the bombshell of wanting time apart to test their feelings - four months apart !!!! Even more unsettling, Jago’s ex-wife appears and immediately worms herself into his life. With Rita's health worries, new guests about to arrive for the Spring Awakening Week, her daughter hosting a last minute wedding at the retreat, and her son hiding something, she's worn out. Thankfully Hilda, Rita’s mother-in-law, brings laughter and light relief to every occasion.
A great plot with believable and likeable characters.
With thanks to Storm Publishing and the author for the eARC, this review is my personal, unbiased opinion.
What a brilliant second book in this Seahaven Bay series.
But I can't believe that the author was determined to start by making Rita and Jory rather unstable, just because books need conflict. It seems rather cruelty to them, especially with everything Rita has been through.
But me thinking these characters are real aside, I loved seeing how the retreats are now going and what improvements had been to the area since our last visit.
And it was wonderful to catch up with Hildy, Zenya, Teo, Sennen and Thom too, plus Rita's best friend Kelly as well.
There's a blast from Jago's past involved, as well as some sabotage present in this book too..
Add in some very surprising news for Rita, and a new direction for Seahaven Bay Retreat to possibly go in, and you have this fabulous mix for this highly engaging book.
Thank you to Storm and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
I feel that you need to read the first book in this series, Escape to Seahaven Bay, to become familiar with the characters in this installment. Rita continues to run her retreat, Seahaven Retreat, with the help of Teo and Zenya. Her relationship with Jago hits a stumbling block when his ex-wife shows up with a daughter she claims is Jago’s. I had a tough time with him not asking for a DNA test given their past relationship. It was nice to read more about Rita’s children, Sennen and Thomas. Thomas treats his girlfriend poorly and is kind of a jerk, but still, it is nice to learn more about them.
Rita gets some disturbing news that she is deciding how to deal with. There seems a lot of drama in this book and that was a little annoying for me, but overall, it is a pleasant story and if you are invested in the characters from the first book, it is nice to visit with them again.
Thank you NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
It's lovely to return to Seahaven Bay and see how Rita, Jago and their family and friends are doing. Not everything is sweetness and light in Seahaven Bay, as reality intrudes on Rita's romantic idyll, and Jago suggests they both need space. It leads to an enforced separation that Rita isn't sure about, especially when a significant person from Jago's past reappears and seems to want him back. The strength of this story and the series lies in the relatability of the characters, their emotions, and the balance of humour and poignancy that defines most people's lives. It's an immersive story that draws you into the characters' lives, making you care what happens to them. There are some unexpected surprises too, which means I can't wait for the next book. I received a copy of this book from the author.
Simply a delightful five-star read that will have you wishing you could run away to the seaside. I adored the first story in the Seahaven Bay series, and loved meeting all of the great characters. They just seem to get so much better in this one, maybe its as I feel like I know Rita, and everyone so much better. There were a couple of moments that I struggled mainly around Rita and her doubts, but then when you get to know them and you understand her more you get it, we would all be the same in her situation. The setting is beautiful and the drama a plenty, the story delightful and just encapsulating. This author is a delight to read, and I am so excited to see what will happen in Seahaven Bay next.
This book pulled me in from the first chapter. I liked the fact that we had older main characters in this book and a strong female main character. I found the writing style easy to read and I enjoyed the humor throughout the book. The chemistry between the main characters felt natural and emotional and made the characters relatable. I loved how the story balanced heartfelt moments, tension and personal growth. There was really good character development for the female main character. The pacing was good and I enjoyed the banter between the characters. The plot was good and the unexpected plot twists made for an exciting read. I liked the found family element. A really easy and fun read overall.
Marry Me in Seahaven Bay is the second book in the Seahaven Bay series. It can be read as a stand alone but reading Escape to Seahaven Bay the first in this series, will help you connect with all the characters in the series. I really connect with the characters, and the author makes them feel real and so likable. Rita has so much going for her in her life and along come twists, turns and curveballs! The story flows and before I knew it, I was at the end of the book. That is the type of story I enjoy. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. Thank you NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the ARC of Marry Me in Seahaven Bay. This is my personal review.
Not a bad little story. I think you needed to read the first book before reading this one. But still well written. I enjoyed Rita thinking she was menopausal, Jago getting entranced by his X. Like how stupid can one be. Everyone knows if a kid pops up you get your DNA tested. That was just wicked! Wow Thom a bit gigolo and discovers too late he had a good woman. All well. Hilda oh my what a character. Thank you Storm Publishing through NetGalley allowing me this quick read. Gave me some laughs, drama and a bit of mystery to boot!
I really like this series, it’s fun, easy to read with great characters. Rita is hoping her life is about to chance, until Jago’s ex wife appears along with a 5 year old. She’s helping her daughter with a last minute wedding, she’s busy and tired. Will everything go to plan? The words flow in this series, love following along to find out what happens with the characters and can’t wait for the next one. It’s a quick read, perfect for an afternoon read. 5 stars, thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for a copy.
It was wonderful to be back in Seahaven Bay Rita got her happy ever after. Tom finally came up trumps and showed his maturity. Hilda, dear Hilda - funny as ever and so glad she recovered. The future looks bright for Senna too with the wedding business.
Beautiful, pure escapism, tears of happiness and sadness and totally written from the heart
I really hope there will be a third and perhaps final Book where we get to see Rita and Jago get married ? The babies ? The pup ? The future
Thanks so much to Netgalley, Storm Publishing and Nicola May
This book had me on the edge of the seat because I was going through so much emotional turmoil. One minute I was smiling and laughing with joy and the next I wanted to throw my kindle in frustration at certain characters but of course I didn't. I am glad I kept my cool because this story is brilliantly entertaining. Rita has a lot happening and I felt she would be forgiven for having a meltdown with what she is dealing with. The book does end up being sweetness and light so I do love that!
