You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Natasha was loved when her mom was lived but when her mom just disappeared or so she was told but deep inside she new her father was responsible for her disappearance also a little upset because she was left with a cruel man who only thought about himself, and now she is arranged to marry into the bratva a man she has never met to boost her father’s strength in standing. Maksim sexy as all get out bratva who grew knowing his father but the bratva before his children, what he says is what goes rather you agree or disagree you will obey and it is his turn to marry in order to keep the peace avoiding a war. Neither Natasha or Maksim are happy about the marriage but they both know loyalty is required for the two of them but they must asks themselves can she trust him to protect or will he be like her father, will he be honest with her, will she be honest with him especially about her father, will they be willing to put in the work to make the marriage work because they are stronger together, and will it all lead them to something they never expected ….happiness?

How can Maksim & Natasha make it work?
it work?
Maksim is a 30 year old man forced into a marriage that he definitely DOESN'T want !! He loves parting and one night stands with women. Nikolai is not only his best friend but also the head of their New York organization. So, he really has no choice. His father, Gregor Petrov, never gives his son respect or credit for anything but of course he's all in for this marriage. I hated Gregor as well. Give your son a break, he's an adult !!
Maksim doesn't even to meet his "bride' before the wedding !! They are in Chicago.
Natasha is a younger woman and TERRIFIED of her father, Lev Sokolov and is totally dominated by him. She's shy and completely sheltered and isolated and her father loves that ! He's a First Class Bully !!
Both of the fathers almost ruin the marriage alliance between New York and Chicago and just can't seem to keep their butts out of their marriage. Especially Lev. He thinks he still calls the shots because of the Peace Pact between the two organizations. What an idiot !
I loved outrageous Kira who was Maksim's sister. She hugged Natasha the moment they met and declared they were going to be best of friends ! She kind of overwhelmed shy Natasha but she liked her. Kira was the Ultimate Party Girl. Her father Gregor thought she was the Golden Girl and gave her whatever she wanted. He thought she would never cause any trouble. Right !
I so enjoyed how Maksim and Natasha have to FIGHT their way to getting to know each other and it has a great ending ! Plenty of suspense and fighting by the way. I loved how experienced, handsome Maksim is so clueless at first when it came to getting to know his new wife. He just can't seem to say or do anything right. That was nice for a change.
Well, maybe not so good for Kira because now it's her turn to get offered up to a rival organization as a Peace Offering in marriage. Oh, Enzo is gonna love that ! Enzo is the head of that rival organization and was causing them trouble throughout this book. Maksim just wants to kill him but they can't ! Oh, Kira is SO going to hate this idea. They get their shot a relationship in the third book called "Boss". Should be amazing !!

Prince by Ivy Davis is a standout example of the dark mafia arranged marriage trope, pulling me in from the very first chapter with its high stakes and intense emotional weight. The story follows Natasha and Maksim, two souls bound by the cold dictates of their Bratva families who both understand the heavy price of disobedience. What made this such a compelling, one-sitting read was watching these reluctant strangers navigate a marriage built on a fragile peace treaty while struggling under the shadows of their cruel upbringings. Natasha knows all too well how heartless her father can be, and Maksim is acutely aware that his own father will always value the organization over his own children.
The transition from cold obligation to genuine, protective devotion feels entirely authentic, as Maksim’s fierce "touch her and die" instincts and Natasha’s quiet strength create a dynamic that is both volatile and deeply moving. This is a beautiful exploration of trust and honesty in a world where those qualities are often fatal, highlighting how two people can choose each other over their families' brutal legacies. Ivy Davis perfectly balances gritty mafia tension with a heartfelt romance that feels earned through every trial and shared vulnerability. I found myself hooked by the twists and the deep-seated loyalty that grows despite their circumstances, leading to a deeply satisfying and well-deserved HEA. I am already highly anticipating the next installment, especially with a feisty character like Kira waiting in the wings to cause some delicious chaos.

Maksim and Natasha are chosen to prevent a war between mafia families. But will it work? /strong> Maksim and Natasha are in an arranged marriage between two mafia families to keep them from going to war. However, they will not meet until their wedding day. Neither one of them are prepared for what's next. They just can't get it together having been forced into it to begin with. While on their honeymoon he gives her space, but when he gets back to the hotel she is gone. So he goes looking for her because it's getting late, and she's by herself. When all of a sudden he hears screaming and it's Natasha. She is accosted by two men and Maksim goes ballistic. He ends up killing one man and Natasha freaks out. So they end up going home earlier than expected. He's trying to get her to trust him, but she's too scared. After they come to an understanding and accept their feelings for each other they attend a Charity ball where they see Enzo and get into an argument, but it doesn't end there. While going home they are followed and end up in an accident and Natasha get's kidnapped. Now they are on a rescue mission. Maksim saves her but not before being shot by Enzo. In order to keep another war from happening Nikolai suggests an arranged marriage between Enzo and Kira which does not go over well. I love the characters and the fact that the characters continue on into the next book. And even though it's a short read I really enjoyed the book. I give it four stars.

Maksim 30 doesn’t want a wife. He loves sex and women and isn’t ready to settle down but his father demands gr marry a stranger first peace in the bratva world. He has never even met her until the wedding say where he shows up drunk and his new bride begins to cry at the alter. Natasha is a very sheltered virgin bratva princess who’s been so kept from the world she is much younger than her age if 20. Shes terrified of her father so when he demands she marry a stranger she knows she must. When he’s drunk shes upset but they make it through the ceremony. Everything after is a disaster with both disappointed, with diff expectations and unable to come together in unison. Forced on a honeymoon more happens making her so afraid of her husband they feel they’ll never make things work. Events keep happening with both fathers interfering trying to force things between them. Then after a tragedy Natasha slowly sees Maksim won’t hurt her and she stops being so afraid and feelings start developing. Will they ever get on the same page and figure out how to be a couple?
Realistic believable characters, some spots where u can’t help but laugh at these two bumbling their way trying to figure things out, some sweet tender moments and some fierce moments where they stand strong. The spice just adds to the fun.

Arranged marriage

The dynamics are different as to establish peace there is an arranged marriage between a sheltered 20-year old virgin to a 30-year old Bratva man who resents having to marry a stranger he has never seen. However in the day and age of the internet, YouTube, Instagram, etc. the FMC could not have been as clueless as the author wanted to be believed. At age 30, charming women with ease and suddenly he can't keep his foot out of his mouth. At 30, you don't know not to be pissy drunk on your wedding day even though you will be at a location where there could be gun fire. As his bestie and high ranking Bratva, you would allow your friend to be drunk on his wedding day. In book one, Maskim was hailed as a high ranking Bratva and in book two, he's still a boy being dominated by his father and father-in-law. Too weak people trying to find there way with trauma bonding opening their eyes to a potential partnership. The story has similarities to book one making this story to be a product of a formula. Book 1 after the killing suddenly understanding of the husband's kills fills the wife. Oh he not so scary any more. Book 1 virgin wife with 10 year age gap to husband. Book 1 wife tries to escape husband and marriage. Book 1 father raised daughter because mother died of cancer. Book 1 ex-girlfriend confronts wife. Book 1 to avoid a war let's arrange a marriage.

This book is a fantastic addition to the King of the Mafia series and definitely lives up to the expectations set by the earlier installments. If you enjoy arranged marriage tropes, this one will absolutely pull you in and keep you turning the pages from start to finish. The story follows Natasha and Maksim, both of whom come from powerful families with controlling, overbearing fathers who ultimately force them into a marriage neither of them truly wants.

What makes this story so compelling is watching their relationship evolve despite the circumstances. There’s tension, resistance, and a lot of emotional push-and-pull as they navigate their new reality. Even though they start off reluctant, both characters agree to try to make the marriage work, which leads to some really engaging and heartfelt moments.

Overall, it’s a captivating read filled with drama, chemistry, and character growth. Fans of the series—and anyone who enjoys a well-written arranged marriage romance—will definitely find this book hard to put down.

Natasha knows how cruel her father is. She knows he rules her live. But she also knows that she has to accept it, the consequences are not worth thinking about. Maksim knows his place in the Bratva. He also knows that his father will always put Bratva before his children. So now he's having an arranged marriage to broker peace with another family to avoid a war. Neither Natasha or Maksim are happy about this, but loyalty is above everything else. Can Natasha truly trust Maksim. Is Maksim really able to protect Natasha. This is a story of trust, honesty and acceptance. Neither main character has a good relationship with their father's. But are they willing to try to make this marriage work. Or will a enemy cause more trouble, and will the cost be too much. This story I read in one sitting, it was just so compelling. I can't wait for Kira's story, she such a fiesta character I think she'll truly cause a few hiccups along the way.

Prince: A Dark Mafia Arranged Marriage Romance completely pulled me in from the first chapter. Natasha and Maksim are forced into an arranged marriage to secure peace between their Bratva families, and watching two reluctant strangers slowly build trust, loyalty, and love was incredibly compelling. The emotional tension—especially with both characters struggling under cruel fathers and heavy expectations—made their connection feel earned.
I loved the rocky start and the gradual shift from obligation to genuine devotion. Maksim’s protective instincts paired with Natasha’s vulnerability and quiet strength created a powerful dynamic, and the twists kept me hooked (I read this in one sitting). The writing balances dark mafia stakes with heartfelt romance beautifully.
Overall: emotional, intense, and deeply satisfying with a well-deserved HEA—an absolute must-read for arranged marriage fans.

Sweet, innocent Natasha has been living under her cruel father's roof since her mother left when she was a young child. She has always assumed but never fully knew that her father had killed her mom but that is why her fear has made her the perfect "yes father" daughter, always doing whatever he asked her to do. She learns she is to be married to an unknown Mafia man to help make her father more powerful. Maksim Petrov, also known as a ladies' man who chooses to "love 'em and leave 'em" usually by the next morning. He is told by his best friend Nikolai that he must marry a woman he will not meet until his wedding day, all to increase power to Nikolai's Bratva. As with all of Ivy Davis's stories, the two main characters fall in love but there is a dangerous and rocky road toward their HEA.

I absolutely loved immersing myself in this captivating story! The continuation of the series was executed flawlessly, and the narrative itself was truly remarkable. The dynamic between Maksim and Natasha was nothing short of enchanting, and their character development was handled with such finesse that it made for an incredibly satisfying and engaging read. The author's skillful storytelling kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end, creating an experience that was both thrilling and emotionally resonant. I am already eagerly anticipating the next installment in this incredible series and cannot recommend this book highly enough!.

This story starts with a forced mafia marriage to stop a war between two mafia families.
The wedding was a disaster, Maksim was drunk and Natasha cried during the ceremony, what a way to start a married life.
Things can only get better or so you would think but the honeymoon was even worse for both of them.
The tension between these two is really bad, something will have to give if they are ever going to make there parents happy.
A story that has so many problems starting with there parents, ex girlfriend, his sister, kidnapping and another war in the horizon.
Just sit down and enjoy, i certainly did.

Maksim is loyal to his friend Nikolai, but when war threatens to come their way, after Nikolai takes out his rival Alexie only a marriage alliance can protect them, and Maksim has to be the groom. Natasha knew she was a pawn for her father, and when he puts her into play via a marriage to Maksim neither wants nor trusts the other  but can they make things work and learn to trust each other when they need too the most? Well written the story and characters are engaging, and develope well, with steamy scenes action, twists and more.

This is a great continuation from the first book, King. This is the story of Maksim and Natasha who are forced to marry to prevent a war. Neither one wants to be married. They have communication issues and are butting heads from the beginning. However, things occur that finally get them both on the same page and things start going their way.

I was happy to discover that the series will be continuing. These are very fast enjoyable reads to get a little dark romance between your larger reads.

Prince is the second story in the King of the Mafia series. It is very suspenseful and well-written.

Maksim and Natasha are being forced to marry to prevent a war between their families. They do not want to be married. They only meet on their wedding day. Natasha's father demands that she marry him. What happens to them after they see each other?

I loved the chemistry between Maksim and Natasha. Their story is an emotional one. I look forward to the next story.

He is not looking forward to this arranged marriage at all, he gets even more against it when he is not allowed to meet her before the wedding. When he sees her for the first time he is drunk and she is crying, their first night together is interesting. When they forced to go on a honeymoon and she is assaulted, she just wants to hide in the room. As they learn more about each other they start to feel things that neither expected to feel.

4.5 stars! Maksim never wanted to get married but when his best friend and Pakhan asks him to take of for the team and marry the Chicago Bratva Pakhan's daughter, he agrees. They don't meet until their wedding day. Natasha is concerned but agrees to her father's demand that she marry Maksim. It's a rocky start with lots of downs, will they be able to make it work? Some good twists in this one. Good read!

I really wanted to like this one, but the story just couldn't quite settle for me. Natasha and Maksim were nice characters that I actually wanted to root for. The biggest hurdle was the repetitive dialogue. I felt like I was reading the same conversation over and over: they don't want to be there, they aren't on the same page, and she has a secret she can't share. This one’s just not for me.

Dark, Addictive, and Impossible to Put Down is how I would describe this book. Prince: An Arranged Marriage which is going to take you on an emotional rollercoaster that grips you from the very first page and doesn't let go. The chemistry between the main characters Maksim and Natasha is electric, raw, intense, and complicated in so many ways. The way Ivy masterfully blends passion and romance into this dark mafia romance book had me hooked from start to finish.

I love Ivy’s writing. She has a natural style that flows well in these shorter books. They pack a punch. This is the second book in the series. I love a great mafia book and this one hits. It’s an arranged marriage between Natasha and Maksim. They are forced into marriage by their overpowering fathers. The kicker- They cannot meet each other until the wedding. Such a good book! Great job Ivy.

As always, Ivy Davis has made me fall in love with another couple. Maskim and Natasha was everything and more. She was annoying sometimes in this book but then you did have remember that her father controlled her, never really showed her any Love, and killed her mother. But with patience and the will to try from them both….and some mishaps along the way, they actually fell in love and was able to live happily ever after! 💜💜💜💜💜

This is a great forced relationship that works. Out in the long run. Maksim and Natasha are both pawns in a power struggle between their families, and are made to marry each other to avoid a war. They are both trying to make it work, but things have a way of going sideways for them. They are both feeling their way into making it work, and along the way they start to have real feelings for each other. Their future is looking bright and full of promise and love.

Prince is the arranged marriage story of Natasha and Maksim. Both characters have had crap lives with their fathers and as such are being forced into a marriage neither wants. Their journey has lots of bumps, plenty of surprises, twists and turns but when it all finally settles this couple is on fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Another great read from this author!

Natasha and Maksim

This slow burn was so hot once Natasha and Maksim realized they couldn't stand to be apart! Love that they will do anything to protect each other, even from their fathers. I have a feeling Natasha's father has even more secrets than what was told, am I wrong? Can't wait to read Enzo and Kira's story!!!!!
