Werewolves do not exist, or do they? Werewolves are myth, right? They can't exist, can they? Believe me when I tell you werewolves are very real. I have seen them, lived among them. They are not the beasts depicted in legend. The legends were wrong. They don't hunt humans. They don't crave our blood. They don't turn into mindless beasts with the full moon. Bullets silver or otherwise will kill them. They can change at will without the aid of the full moon. They are not bloodthirsty monsters, at least most of them aren't.
More important than all of this is the fact that I seem to attract them like moths to a flame.
Lynn Leite is an author, artist, teacher and mother of three. Her wild imagination, and gift for gab blended perfectly in 2009, when she decided to write it all down. In addition to writing, she designs and illustrates her own covers.
This started off with a BANG! I was all YES... ...But then it went steadily downhill to mediocre territory.
Cali gets bitten. The local pack gets wind of an attack on a random hiker and go searching for her. At first she was full of gumption but not to the point of being a bitch.
Honestly, I read this a week ago, and I'm having trouble remembering what happened after the pack finds her. I think that's because nothing much happens and what does happen was so very easy/insta. Then towards the end, her past catches up with her. But it was really kinda silly towards the end.
I enjoyed it but don't plan to pursue more. safety was good
Cali is on the run from a stalker who escalated too far and had her fleeing from her family. Cali has found a place where she is comfortable but she is also not naive enough to think she will have to run at a moments notice. When she is attacked by a wolf though everything changes, she had no clue that things went bump in the night.
Alpha Nash knows Cali is his true mate, but trying to convince a human who just turned wolf is tricky business. Cali knows she feels a pull to Nash, but could it be lust or love?
I liked this quite a bit. I thought that Nash was pure alpha but so is Cali and she does not know the rules, so heads butt. Had some humor mixed in with a bit of suspense. Look forward to seeing how Cali's sisters and Nash's brothers get involved.
She was running from a crazy man and broke down in front of a bar. Later she was hiking and was not by a wolf. She was soon to find her boss and his family were wolf shifters as was the one that big her. She was now a werewolf and the true mate to the Alpha Nash. The crazy guy was a shifters and was going rogue because she rejected him. He kidnapped her sister and arrangements were made to meet her in the bar where she works. Nash puts him down, calms Dakota, the sister, and then talks to her late parents. They find out that Ca!I's mom is half shifter. It ends with Nash and Cali in bed.
Who knew a human could be a werewolf magnet? Apparently, that's what Cali is. Unfortunately, it's only rogue wolves until Nash, a shifter Alpha claims her for his fated mate. It's all so complicated! Nash is gorgeous, strong, and determined that she belongs with him, and truthfully, she is coming around to agree with him. Then, her stalker does the unthinkable and kidnaps her sister! It's all about to come to a head, and Cali just hopes they all come out of it alive and well. The fur is about to fly, and Cali is praying it won't be theirs!
I love every book Lynn Leite has wrote that I had got my hands on so far, and this one is just as good as any other well written with plenty of action, a little suspension, and romance...
I enjoyed this book even though I try to avoid books with multiple first person format. The characters are well written and pull the reader into the story quickly. Minor proofing issues keep me from giving 5*…the story is worthy of that ranking.
Lynn Leite has done it again. This new series promises to be full of hot sexy shifters. Nash and Cali are perfect for each other. Nah is Alpha of his pack. Cali is turned accidentally, but, she seems to be just as Alpha as Nash. With a stalker after her, another pack laying claim (responsibility) for her, and other females wanting Nash in their bed, this book does not have a dull moment. Also, Nash has handsome brothers, Cali has gorgeous sisters, plus, there's another hot Alpha in the story. This it's a great read! I loved it.
I loved Lynn Leite's Shifted series and now it looks to me that Lynn has started a new series off with a 5 star hit! What a great story....Nash and Cali are great and I am looking forward to more great books in the Bitten Series! Thank you Lynn and keep on writing, Please!!!
I loved the Shifted series by Lynn Leite. I wasn't sure that I would like this book but it is a great start to a new series. I really liked this book and look forward to the next book.
