I didn’t review books 1-5 because they didn’t feel like individual books based on page count. I wish this whole series was just 1 book.
With that being said, I enjoyed them much more than I thought I would. Infidelity that led Emma back to her home town just in time for her high school reunion. Little did she know her “enemy” would also be there. Turns out the both of them were good liars and harbored many feelings towards each other.
This series had a good story line and I did wish there was more at the end of the book😂

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 stars)
This was an interesting reading experience for me. While Twenty Years Later tells a compelling and engaging story, I didn’t love the way it was structured.
The series is broken into six shorter books, but it’s really just one continuous story stretched across all of them. Personally, I found that a bit frustrating—I would have much preferred one longer, more cohesive book instead of multiple installments with fewer pages.
That said, the storyline itself kept my attention, and I was invested enough to keep going through all six parts. The plot had its moments of intrigue and emotional pull, even if the pacing sometimes felt drawn out because of the format.
Overall, a good story with an unconventional structure that didn’t quite work for me. Worth the read if you don’t mind a segmented series, but it lands at a solid 3 stars.

Disappointed
This was an enjoyable series. Very predictable. What ruined it for me was the text and misspelled words. A sentence would end with all of the letters of a word but one and then the last letter would be in the front of the next sentence. Very confusing reading. I am anxious to read an other book by June Woods to see if the text is the same, maybe this is her writing style.

This was such a nice story but only if you were reading it on kindle unlimited and didn’t have to buy 6 different books! These books are so short; there was absolutely no reason they shouldn’t be one normal sized book. Sadly, I think that’s a really cheap shot on the part of the author. I’d be reluctant to start one of her other series in case they are the same thing.

Don't like format
It was an interesting twist on a common format And had some good characters but... Several key steps in the development were a little Hard to believe. And to have this story line divided into 6 distinct books was very off-putting. I Accessed it through my kindle unlimited membership so I didn't have to make any actual purchases, but it was still annoying to have to keep accessing the next book.

Should be one book
I enjoyed the story but it really needs better editing. There were a lot of small errors that, fortunately, did not detract from the story. Since it was really all one good story, it should have been only one book. I did not enjoy having to keep going back to get the next "book".

Very good reads
Loved this series, and the characters in the story. Definitely will recommend this author. Greatcstoryline. Hard to put down, read the whole series in a few days.

Too many books
Why couldn't this be one book? Also it needed a good proof reading. I don't understand why the words were broken up in some places with just one character on the next line.

A Series you just can't put down!
Loved the characters, how the story rolled from one book into the next & tied into real life! Another Kindle Unlimited must read & worth the time & money to become a member. Will read more from this author!!!

Beautiful second chance series
I really enjoyed this series and the way it was broken up into small novellas.
From childhood friends to teenage enemies or so they thought to clearing up misunderstandings and a chance a true love.

Heartwarming story

Quick read
A series of 6 quick (under 100 pages) little short stories. It was a cute predictable story and would have been more enjoyable if it had been condensed into one book.

Just got done reading the series. This was a fast and enjoyable read . I may of given the other books 4 stars, but overall definitely a five star read.

This was a lovely series and a light summer read. My only issue was the set up. Imo,, it should have been a novel rather than six short stories.

Love this series by June Woods. Very easy reading. Almost like a true story, very realistic. She is a very good author!

This was a great series, but it could’ve b een in one book instead of six mini stories that continued directly into the next phase. These must be read in order.
