(People)

I read this book, not as a fan, but as someone who admires the author as a person who has wisdom. I got to know of Lee Changsub through his YouTube show Jeongwaja. I found him naturally funny, humble but with a quiet confidence, and as someone who thinks differently. When I found out he wrote a book, I just had to read it. And I was not disappointed.

In this book, he shares his life experiences. It is written in a light conversational manner, making it easy to read. But within these light conversations, he also shares his philosophical musings and reflections about life. His insights provided me new perspectives and offered me healthy mindset and attitudes to consider. At the same time, his easy manner of writing made these reflections feel refreshing and interesting, rather than heavy and serious.

I read both Korean (original) edition and English edition by apop books. I must say that the English translation by apop books would need some improvement. The book had typographical errors and the translation, especially for the second section, was no better than using an app translator. This was a disappointment from my end because it detracted from the wisdom and humor of the original text of the author.
