Serious Strategy, Not Guru Talk
I honestly didn’t expect to like this book as much as I did.
I’ve read a few options trading books before, and most of them either feel too “guru” or they keep things vague so you end up needing to buy something else. This one is different. Markus actually explains the full system in a clear and structured way. Step by step. No “get rich quick” tone.
What I really liked is how practical it is. The RPIC concept gives you a real number to track, not just some dream of “financial freedom someday.” That made it feel more serious and grounded. The 9-step structure also helps a lot because you see how everything connects — it’s not just random strategies thrown together.
The Wheel Strategy is explained in a way that makes sense, even if you’re not an advanced trader. It doesn’t feel like gambling. It feels systematic. I also appreciate that he talks about blending trading and investing instead of pretending one thing solves everything.

I have read enough "passive income" books to know the formula. Big promises up front, vague advice in the middle, and a coaching program waiting for you at the end.
This book broke that pattern completely.
Heitkoetter actually explains the mechanics. Options trading, dividend investing, how to combine them into something that works together. No fluff, no motivational filler, no moment where I felt like I was being set up for an upsell. Just a real system laid out in plain language.
I appreciated that he does not pretend this is effortless. There is work involved and he says so honestly. But the 9 steps give you a clear path instead of leaving you overwhelmed with information that goes nowhere.
I am not a complete beginner but I am not an expert either and this hit exactly the right level. I have already adjusted my portfolio based on two chapters alone.
If you are skeptical of finance gurus, good. So is this book. That is exactly why it works.

I went into this book expecting a lot of hype, but it was more practical than I thought. The explanation of the Wheel strategy was easy to follow, and I liked that the author talks about building a system instead of chasing quick wins.
