Uhm. Wow. This was an amazing story. I liked how it began and the two MC connected from the very beginning. I also thought it was an amazing time spent together. When they met again-it was not what I was expecting. And the rest was just heart wrenching. I couldn’t help but identify with the protagonist because I knew and understood her story, who she was. But I didn’t expect the ending nor all of what happened in the middle. So much time invested in the two MC that it was hard to accept the ending. I still think they both lost although the ending says something different.
I can not honestly say if I enjoyed this book or not. I enjoyed reading it, but the ending just depressed me.... So I enjoyed it but wish I hadnt read it, not too helpful but there you go.
