Bon Appetit: An MMM Daddy Romance

Rate this book
Two hungry Daddies. One delicious boy. Come and get it while it’s HOT!

OLIVER

The profile says he’s looking for a boy to be his husband’s birthday present for an entire weekend. Someone to have chocolate, honey, and sprinkles licked off every inch of his body. Who will submit to the two older men’s ravenous desires whenever their tummies rumble. I’m as vanilla as an ice cream cone, there’s no way I’ll get picked. But their fantasies have awoken something mouthwatering in me, so I have to try. Imagine my surprise when Master Tallis says he wants me and only me to be Daddy August’s special surprise. There’s no way an unremarkable newbie can pull this off, but I doubt I’ll ever get an opportunity like this again.

How can I possibly say no?

TALLIS

Even I can admit that sometimes, on very rare occasions, I can be wrong. But that’s what Oliver is. Rare. Like the perfect steak. I was impressed I found a boy that met all of my extremely high standards for my husband’s birthday surprise in the first place. However, even after he gives himself over to us completely for an entire weekend, I realize it’s not enough. I’m still starving for more. But we agreed this was a one-time deal. August and I aren’t looking for a long-term third and Oliver has only just discovered kink. It wouldn’t be fair to ask for seconds.

Would it?

AUGUST

I love my husband, my Master, so much. But he knows how I adore being a Daddy to a sweet sub as well. We’ve only ever played with boys for a few hours or a night before, so to have one stay for a whole weekend as my birthday surprise is divine. The thing is, Oliver is special. He feels like he brings out the best in both Tallis and me. I just want to gobble him up and keep him forever.

Can I?

Bon Appetit is a steamy, standalone MM romance. It’s the seventh book in the Paddle Creek Daddies series, where it’s always the quiet ones who get up to the best kind of trouble. This book features a living birthday cake, a naughty place for a chocolate eclair, a little treat who doesn’t understand how special he is, a Master who discovers his Daddy side, a seriously wild toga party, and a guaranteed HEA with absolutely no cliffhanger.

Content This book features a group scene of very enthusiastic consensual sharing.

i will never look at a chocolate eclair the same way again.

this was… A LOT.

and i’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing lol. tallis is looking for a third for the weekend for his husband august & oliver just so happens to be the perfect addition.

the book is syrupy sweet [pun sort of intended] but it’s a hodgepodge of kinks & sharing & oliver’s character in the first chapter is nothing like oliver in the rest of the books, so much so that august/tallis mention to each other that they will experiment with age play because of oliver’s temperament… how did we even get here?

if it was just focused on the food aspect of it all that would have been fine but now all of a sudden they’re making oliver a little & tallis is a sadist and pouring wax & august is just… there along for the ride?

the last big scene of the book includes other couples from earlier books in the series & i’m not super inclined to read them.

thank you to grr for the copy.

Thank you GRR for the arc!

What I liked
- the careful consent at every point in the scenes
- the elements of challenging yourself gets rewarded. So many of these books are all about punishment and never about rewards
- how comfy cozy this book felt, despite being erotica. It's pure fantasy/wish fulfillment but it works.

What didn't work for me:
- the CNC near the end caught me off guard and felt off, tonally. The book's been so comfy cozy so this just felt wrong
- the usage of "yes Daddy / yes Master" started to grate on me by the end of the first scene because it felt a bit overused.
- I would have liked a bit more show (not tell) in the sex scenes. You don't need to have the characters tell me it feels "so good". I'd rather be shown.

Afterthoughts:
Despite all the focus on safewords and the stoplight system, I've never seen Oliver use it. Missed chance for some bonding?

4.25/5✨🌟

* SPOILERS *

I knew I was going to love this one. I’m a sucker for any MM+ books. This one was a different style of it when you get two married doms along with a sugar baby and man, it was so good.

I love that we get Tallis, a firm daddy, August, a soft daddy and the cutest sugar baby named Oliver.

This book was very low angst and I was here for the sweetest moments. I loved how they met and when August gets the surprise of his birthday gift from his husband, Tallis, I knew it was going to be. The last night had me smiling because that scene where they made love was when things changed.

This book was full of spice but goodness, it was so good. From the moment that they meet to seeing them falling in love made me swoon so hard for these three.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

This was such a sweet and spicy read! When Tallis is looking for a third for the weekend as a birthday present to his husband, Oliver replies to the ad. He can’t believe he is chosen, but he wants to explore and experience this once in a lifetime experience.
Tallis and August have been married for 15 years and are also Master and sub, but August is also a daddy and longs to care for a boy. When Oliver joins them for the weekend- and what a weekend it is, all 3 are left reeling from what they shared.

This book is sweet, spicy and kinky and to be completely honest with you, I may never look at an eclair in the same way again 🤣

What do you get when a Master posts an ad for a man to share with his Daddy husband as a sweet surprise for his hubby's birthday for a whole weekend? The perfect treat! Oliver is a college student stressing about his upcoming college graduation and what comes next. He's wound tight and stumbles across an ad posted by Tallis looking for a man to surprise his husband August with a special birthday treat. He sees the ad and learns a new kink Tallis wants to surround the weekend around. I hadn't heard of it before and at first glance when you look it up it may sound a bit morbid to some and it may not exactly be my thing but I could understand it and I wasn't mad at it. It was actually kind of hot. Oliver can't get it out of his head but why would he be chosen when lots of people are probably signing up for this opportunity? But he realizes if he doesn't at least try he'll regret it so he's just honest about how the ad made him feel and wishes them well even if they don't pick him. Only Tallis does and when he comes face to face with his new Master and later his new Daddy he realizes that even though he's inexperienced with kink he can definitely get behind it and Tallis and August see that Oliver is the perfect little treat/sub for such a weekend. But is a weekend enough? All signs point to no because the connection they all have to each other is off the charts. Tallis and August are married and love each other and are it for each other but they both have some different kinks they can't satisfy in each other so they have an open and honest sexual relationship but are emotionally exclusive. That is until Oliver fills in all the gaps and acts like a bridge between the two of them and in the end the three of them. August and Tallis decide together that they want more and Oliver decides that he wants to try. Together the three of them are the sweetest spiciest triad. MMM is usually a bit touchy for me as I don't always feel the connection between all three men in other MMM books but with these three I felt that they were balanced and no one felt left out or an extra. They all cared about each other and satisfied each other equally depending on their wants and needs. Definitely the kind of MMM book I can enjoy reading. I also loved the way both August and Tallis explained kink, consent, honesty and more with the kink related stages of their relationship. They had open communication and respected each other throughout and it was beautiful.

I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is book 7 in the Paddle Creek Daddies series, but you can read them all as stand alones books with characters popping up in other books.

This book came with a tag : ALL 👏 the 👏 food 👏 smeggs 👏👏👏 And OMG it's bloody DELICIOUS!!!

August and Tallis have been married for 15 years, Tallis is a Master and August a Daddy. For August's birthday, Tallis finds a boy for the weekend, for August to treat and Tallis to control the situation, since that's HIS thing. Oliver never had any experience with any sort of kink and kinda jumps in with two feet. It was only supposed to be for the weekend, but none of them really want to let go.

This book, right?? Is bloody delicious and I didn't want it to end! It's so much fun! And there is a huge amount of inappropriate use of food (my mind flashes back to candy canes!)

Tallis and August love each other, but they are very open to playing with others, together and alone provided all details are talked about after. I loved that level of trust and communication between those two. The communication continues with Oliver but the trust grows rapidly. I loved that Tallis talked it all through with Oliver before he let Oliver say yes he would join them for the weekend.

I loved the chemistry, right from the start, between these three. Tallis likes to be in control. August likes to spoil his boy. Oliver lets both men do what they need to do, but Oliver also sparks some things in both men they did not see coming.

I am well aware these sorts of relationship develop fast, and these men know what they want after that weekend, but their follow-up, to show Oliver they mean business?? OOOF! Hawt!!

I loved that Oliver was their little treat and that both men used that name often. It's really sweet and it totally fits Oliver!

I could go on and on and onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn about how much I loved this book, so I'll wrap up, before the review ends up as long as the book!

Sweet, and so very VERY smexy. Some emotions involved but nothing too heavy. No 3rd act break up and I loved that!

5 full and covered in honey, chocolate sauce, sushi rolls and eclair cream (I'm seeing candy canes again! I may never eat an eclair again!!) stars!

What a treat!! (pun intended ;)

HJ Welch is one of my favourite author and especially this series so I jumped on this new one ASAP and read it in a day.
It was truly a treat: in a time where the whole world is burning around us, every good book I can digest feels like the best cake and this one was a delicious homemade one, the kind that brings you comfort and that was made with love and the right amount of kink! Helen never misses on their daddy’s books and this one became a new favourite for me again!

It had some new kinks that I didn’t know about (I love learning through fiction!) and so much love between our 3 MC. Nobody does polyamory stories like Helen and they make me melt every time!

What I love about the paddle creek series is seeing the world expand every time and now, by book 7 it’s lovely to see old places mentioned (the coffee shop, the dino restaurant, the bar, the club,…) and to cross paths with old MC. We didn’t get to see my favourite trio in this book but we saw some of my second favourites and I was so giddy to see them in this particular scene 😏 I also really love how crossing path with the past MC never feels forced. After 6 books I love that there’s always the right amount of characters we already know without trying to put all of them in every book. As much as I would love to see my fav reappear I appreciate that it wouldn’t make sense. (even though they would have loved the greek themed party)

I think, from memory it’s also the first Paddle creek story without any drama and I was all here for it!! No evil ex trying to arm them or kick them out…It’s never heavy in this series but this one was really all love, food and kink! So much love and that’s exactly what the world needs right now!!

I really loved the 3 MC, all with their different personalities and dynamic and I love that we get to see them being open to explore new things with so much trust. (Now I’m also hoping for a bonus scene where we see August and Oliver explore another type of Daddy dynamic❤️)

Oh, what a delightful little book. 😍

Going into this I didn't know how I'll feel about the whole voraphilia kink but I have to say it was an interesting discovery. It didn't do anything for me, but it didn't make me uncomfortable either. It was interesting to find out more about this and if you know me, you know I don't kink shame. Also, the party scene... Holly hell... oh, turn the AC to the max cuz that was hawt as hell.

Oliver, Tallis and August are so freaking sweet together you wouldn't believe. All that kink, that Daddy/sub, Master/sub/sub dynamic is intense as fuck, their scenes are intense as fuck, but there is also another layer there... the sweetness is just pouring out of them.

The way these 3 come together is sweet, and not at all what you'd expect, but it works so well for them. They make so much sense together, I swear...

If you are not into kink that much, if you don't like to read about sharing with other partners, then maybe this book is not for you because, as I said, this book is heavy on kink and there definitely is sharing with other Daddies in this book.

The reason why this book is not a 5✨️ is not because everything happened so fast, whoever reads kinky books knows that these relationships evolve faster than normal due to the intensity and all that, but it wasn't a 5✨️ because I felt like it was too short. I needed at least 50 more pages of them being in a relationship, going on dates separately and together, and just navigating their new life together.

At the end of the day I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I had a good time and for whoever like a kink heavy poly relationship I'd say to give this one a try.

Final rating 4.25✨️

This was an amusing , spicy and shorter book in the Paddle Creek universe but can be perfectly well read as a standalone.

When Tallis is looking for the third as a birthday present to his husband, Oliver never thought he has a chance which is actually what made me like him so much. He has a very low confidence in himself. He is utterly unassuming how people may like him and this naivity helps to bring out this innocence in his first time encounter with kink.

Tallis and August have an open relationship marriage as a Master and Daddy, they never really thought about a permanent third, such as in dating a boyfriend, to incorporate into their lives but that weekend as Oliver really changed their views over the 48 hours.

All of them formed the bond and it doesn't take very long for them to realise that they don't really want to have a one off but that Oliver fits perfectly into their world.

The story is extremely spicy which is something you would expect from this author also but it's really really well done. I don't think I ever had a book with deals with food Kink and it makes very interesting and fascinating reading at some points.

The disadvantage of the shorter story is that there is not a lot of in-depth development for the three characters, they are definitely all likable but I would've loved to see a bit more details of the life outside these 48 hours bubble window especially what exactly August is doing to earn his enormous amount of money.

But nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and will definitely look out for further Paddy Creek books.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I enjoyed this book but it was my least favourite of the series so far. Oliver replies to a post on an app to be the treat for the weekend by Master Tallis for his husband August. Since August is a daddy and Tallis isn’t a boy he just knows that it’s the perfect present for August. Even though Oliver has done nothing like it before he’s extremely intrigued and shocked but really excited when he’s picked by Tallis. Tallis finds Oliver’s honesty extremely refreshing. I liked the characters and believe they have no issues in the intimacy department but I wish that the book was longer so we could see them all bond outside the bedroom, as I didn’t really feel their emotional connection so them saying I love you didn’t hit as hard as I was expecting.

Please note that there is a group scene of very enthusiastic consensual sharing. I didn’t mind it but I would’ve loved if it was discussed a bit more before it happened. Yes, both August & Tallis made it clear to Oliver that he can say Red at any stage and everything stops, but it just felt a bit rushed to me. It had been mentioned to Oliver about possibly sharing him with other Dom’s at some stage if Oliver is up for it but still. Even though this was an okay read for I’d still recommend this book, series and author to others.

******I received a complimentary copy of this book through GRR. I would still happily review this book even if I purchased it myself. My thoughts and feelings about this book are completely unbiased******

MY OPINION: I haven’t read any of the books in this series, but HJ Welch clearly isn’t locked into a specific type of story. The stories I have read previously were not kink-based and were certainly good. This, on the other hand, was good, but it was SPICY.

The baseline of the story is that a DOM and Daddy are a couple, and a third is invited over for a weekend of fun. But there is so much more to the weekend. Feelings happen immediately because the three of them fit together like a perfect puzzle.

These three men enjoy each other in so many naughty ways, but there is so much more there. The couple is older; no ages have been specified, but the couple is well into their careers and is quite successful. The man they bring into their relationship is finishing college.

Oliver isn’t sure if he is good enough, and the two men make sure he is well aware of how good he is. This book is filled with information about a triad that works together to live in a kink lifestyle. The three of them together are special. This is on the fine line between romance and erotica, and I was there for it.

A lot of spice. Tons of information about living a kink lifestyle and lots of spicy scenes. It's a lovely story, and the couple then triad are wonderful. It certainly made me want to go read the others if I am looking for some spicy fun. Pick this up if you want to read a fun book with some great guys who fall hard and fast.

Honestly its fun!

Ollie, Tallis, and August's story was a delightfully sweet and steamy treat! When Ollie applied to be a spicy birthday gift to a married couple, he truly had no idea how life changing that decision would be. I had so much fun getting to know all three of them, their kinks, and their amazing chemistry. Ollie was an absolute sweetheart, such an earnest and hard worker, and I was eager to see him get a taste of being submissive. Tallis and August were just the right Master and Daddy for the job, and early into their weekend it became clear that the three of them had something special. I can't even begin to describe the decadent bliss these three experienced as they took each other apart. I'm talking sensory overload, weekend of your dreams kind of vibes that never quit. It felt inevitable to me that their weekend together would turn into a longer-term arrangement, but I certainly appreciated the grand gesture August and Tallis planned to show Ollie how special he was. The relationship between the three of them was central to the overall storyline, and while I wouldn't call this pure fluff there was minimal angst to make me nervous about the security of their HEA.

'“I fell asleep,” he hisses, sounding mortified. “I’m so sorry. That’s so rude.”
Tallis chuckles and kisses the boy’s cheek. “It’s a compliment, little treat. I trust you had a good time?”
The boy lets out a startled sort of laugh. “Is that a trick question?” Tallis frowns at him, and it makes my toes curl even though I’m not the one in trouble.'

I loved this book. It was such a sweet, steamy, and beautiful romance. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved Master Tallis, Daddy August, and sub Oliver. I loved the dynamic between the three of them and the way their relationship developed as they caught feelings beyond the fun of what was supposed to be a birthday weekend. The chemistry between them was scorching and I thought the three of them made a perfect throuple. As a married couple- Tallis and August never planned a big change- an addition to their relationship. I always love how this type of romance story plays out. The separate third person realizes he's wanted and belongs after all, and the married pair realize that the third person doesn't fill a hole (no pun intended) between them, but elevates them. 5 stars

I received a review copy in exchange for a review

Bon Apetit is the 7th book in the Paddle Creek Daddies series but they can be read as standalone…for real, because this was my first book in the series. I am interested in reading more after this.

This book follows a whirlwind insta love story following some kinky food themed weekend smeggs with Tallis finding sweet, adorable Oliver for his husband’s birthday. What was only supposed to be a weekend turned into forever for all three of them.

I generally had a great time reading this book. I don’t “get” the food is sexy thing but that was okay…although I am certainly thankful to have Aphantasia so I didn’t get a picture of that eclair scene in my head (IFYKYK 👀)

I thought the characters were cute, the romance was great. I loved how they supported Oliver and helped with his self worth. Despite it being basically insta love and happening so damn quickly, the relationship actually felt fairly solid.

I had a great time and looking forward to reading more from this author.

This was an incredibly fun, scorching hot read that introduced me to a new kink - not my flavor but it was interesting to read about. The spice level is really high, and there are some very interesting uses of dessert foods, but what makes this story work is the relationship between Tallis and August. Their relationship is sweet and caring, and they have a level of trust that allows them to explore without jealousy. Oliver turns out to be the perfect fit for them, and he brings curiosity and a softness and sweetness that balances well with Master and Daddy. Turns out, even a well established Master can learn something new about himself when the right person is introduced to the dynamic.

Watching the three of them figure out a life together was heartwarming. If you're looking for spicy MMM romance with strong chemistry and a relationship built on trust, this book is for you. (Note: This is book 7, but you don't need to read the rest of the series - I haven't, though I plan to now...)

I love this book soo much! Tallis and August are already married, but they kinda have an open relationship as long as they tell each other up front. Tallis is a Master and August is either his sub or a Daddy for a boy they play with. Because of Augusts birthday Tallis is looking for a a sub they can both play with.
Enter Oliver. Oliver is not experienced with kink, but has dreamed of a Daddy for some time and has a really open mind about the rest of the kinks Tallis (and August) want to try. Oliver fills the gaps Tallis and August have in their kinky life. Tallis has a more sadistic side and Oliver wanted to try it out and loved it very much. August didn't like it and that's why Oliver complemented their relationship from Tallis' side. August is a Daddy, but like I said, Tallis is a Master. He just doesn't have it in him to submit to August. Oliver loves a Daddy and he specifically lives Daddy August.
Oliver is literally the best for both of them.

I enjoy MMM stories and MMM+, with these writers the mo' men in bed, the better. However, I don't usually go for an established couple looking for a playmate stories. I know it isn't, but it feels too close to cheating. But I haven't read any HJ Welsch lately and decided to give it a try.
A Daddy, a Dom and a boy/Little/submissive. The kink in the story is a bit all over the place. Food porn. Daddy love. It never quite goes over the line to erotica. Comes close. Darn close.
After fifteen years as a couple, Master Tallis decides the perfect birthday gift for his husband, Daddy August, would be a third for a long weekend. Oliver applies. Their time together is great. And spicy. And over too soon. They decide to keep their boy.
A little angst. Oliver doesn't think he's good enough to be in a triad with these sexy, successful men. A bit of reassurance and the type of HEA that only HJ Welch can write.

Fantastic!

I loved this book! A special birthday gift for August will turn into so much more for not only August but his husband Tallis and Oliver. While August is traveling for business, Tallis decides to find him the most special birthday gift, a boy for him to be a daddy to for the weekend. Oliver will be that boy, although he’s sure he will never be chosen. But their weekend together turns out to be more than any of them had expected and when it ends, none of them want to walk away. It will take a bit of convincing but Tallis and August are able to prove to Oliver that there is more than enough love for him and they want him to be theirs, always. I love the grand gesture they use to show Oliver just how special he is to them and I love how their story ends!

I really enjoyed this story. Oliver was so playful and mischievous, and Tallis and August made a great Dom and Daddy team. It was my first time reading about vorarephilia, and I found it quite interesting, to say the least.

The story had a great dynamic, with a Dom bringing in a third person for his husbands' birthday best gift ever, in my opinion. Even though this was the seventh book in the series, I didn’t feel confused or like I was missing anything, but I do have my eye on a few other Daddies I want to read about. There was just one uncomfortable scene for me, but it didn't make me want to stop reading at any point. I respect everyone's preferences, so I’m not here to judge anyone's likes.

I like some kink as much as the next person, but this was all the kink all the time. There didn't seem to be any real relationship or character development outside the bedroom. All three characters were simple-- I enjoyed reading them but there was no depth or complexity.

The storyline was very rushed and instalove. I didn't like the way the orgy took place, I don't think it should have just been sprung on Ollie like that. Fair enough if he'd said it was a secret fantasy of his, but exhibitionism was Tallis and August's thing, and Ollie seemed unsure when they first suggested it. Yes, he could have got out of it, but it's awkward to say no when people have gone to considerable effort like that.

Despite the issues, this was easy to read and I recommend if you want some kinky mindless smut.

Bon Appétit was such a deliciously fun read.

August, Tallis, and Oliver had such a great dynamic, and I loved watching their connection grow over the course of the story. What starts as a surprise weekend quickly turns into something deeper, and the chemistry between all three of them felt balanced and genuine. No one ever felt like the third wheel, which I always appreciate in MMM stories.

The mix of sweetness, spice, and exploration was done really well, and I especially loved how much emphasis there was on communication, consent, and constant check-ins. Tallis and August taking care of Oliver and making him feel valued and safe was honestly swoon-worthy.

This was a high-spice, feel-good read with plenty of heart, fun exploration, and a trio that just works. Sweet, spicy, and full of good vibes—I enjoyed every moment.

Oliver, Tallis, and August story was intense and endearing, with a couple surprises along the way, learning new things about themselves, as well an unexpected relationship that brings them happiness.
Their time together was magical and intense coupled with care, cherish, and dedication. They satisfy needs long dormant or neglected, and what started with a time limit becomes more.
Oliver needs reassurance, patience, love, and care, as well as a boost to his confidence, and learning his worth.
Their courting is enjoyable, and the act that convince him of their devotion otherworldly.
It was sweet seeing old characters and their contributions to their happiness.
I enjoyed the story, and I’m looking forward to the next adventure.

I really enjoyed the way this story was set up. The food kink angle was definitely new to me but I found it quite interesting. I like a well-written poly romance and this one was perfectly balanced between the three characters. Unfortunately, I never quite warmed up to Tallis and Oliver so I wasn't as invested in this relationship. Also, I felt that the pacing was a little rushed at times.
The story has a very high percentage of spicy times and while I wouldn't necessarily remove some of that - cause it was hot - I would have enjoyed a little more focus on times outside of the bedroom (or house) for a more rounded reading experience.
Still, if you're looking for a high-heat, no-drama poly romance with a lot of food in uncommon places give this one a try.

An outstanding read that is fun but also has depth of emotions. Seems Oliver, who finds it hard to believe himself, lacks in confidence but decides to respond to a profile of man looking to surprise his husband with a sweet birthday surprise. Tallis is simply looking for someone special to please hubby, August, and he believes Oliver is perfect sub for daddy August. Of course Oliver is shocked he was picked, but what was supposed to be a one special night suddenly has August and Tallis wanting more. A sweet read, full of steam and character growth. And if you have read earlier books in this series (if not you must), so much of the locations will feel like visiting home. I cannot wait for book 8.

Deliciously dirty. I definitely got to read about a kink that I haven’t before. It was actually really interesting. I have to say sometimes it’s either a hit or miss when a married couple adds a third. But this was perfect. I honestly like the way that kink is written in this series. I’ve read multiple of the authors books in this series and in a different one. And the way that kink is explained is so easy to understand even if you’re not in that lifestyle. That group scene was hot hot hot. This was sweet, sexy, and just a good time.

PSA IF YOU WANT A MONOGAMOUS MMM BOOK THIS IS NOT IT.

Very cute and kinky story! The characters were sweet and I loved the reciprocal nature of their dynamic. The Daddies built up Oliver’s self esteem and in turn, Oliver fulfilled needs in the Daddies that they couldn’t give each other. The power dynamic was also very well done; it never felt like Oliver was being overwhelmed or pressured, but empowered.

I would have liked to see Oliver and his Daddies get to know each other better before declaring their love, but I still enjoyed it all the same. I’m excited to read the rest of the books in this series!

Thanks to GRR and the author for the arc. These are my honest opinions.

I devoured this book and even bought the rest of the series! HJ Welch is a new author to me, and I can’t wait to read more. This was a sweet and steamy read that had me rooting for Tallis, Oliver and August. Oliver has a hard time believing in himself and would anything to help his mom. August and Tallis are sweet AF but liking having a third sometimes to help both get what the other can’t. These three are perfect together and can’t help but fall hard and fast for each other. I loved this book and I can’t wait to dive into more!

I received an e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Two becomes three

I really enjoyed this latest Paddle Creek Daddies story from HJ Welch. I actually think it’s my favorite one of the series especially because it’s about how an established couple takes on a new person to become a triad which is one of my favorite tropes. If you have read the previous books in this series you might recognize some of the characters in a specific scene in this story. Tallis finds Oliver for his husband August’s two day birthday present but then they have trouble letting him go. I love the way that the author plays with the dynamics between the characters and the care that she takes to show healthy kink relationships.
