I once told you, "Every sin I commit, every life I end, every soul I purchase, I do so to watch in gratifying amusement as it fades out. I've taken these lives with whole and complete intentions of watching my sins and transgressions affect and alter the life of others."
I'm afraid those words no longer hold even a thread of truth.
The man you once knew is now nothing more than a ghost.
The blood staining my hands is no longer a consequence of my amusement.
I have become pure evil. The blood you see is the result of my visceral need to hinder the torment and desolation left in my wife's wake.

I started writing poems and short stories very early in my life. I've been a book hoarder since I was eleven years old, but then a couple years ago something wonderful happened! My inner smut whore came to life and I commenced to read anything and everything smut affiliated. When reading wasn't enough anymore and I noticed that so many of the authors of my favorite genres were indie authors and their books weren't getting the exposure their work deserved, I turned it into a mission, starting my own blog, buying their books and reading them one by one. I then wrote my reviews for my blog and didn't hold back in writing them (Hell yeah those motherfuckers a profanity laden). I've never done a single thing in my life half-ass. I always go all in. After the success of my Blog, I was ready to finally take the plunge and see if I could write a book that was worth a damn. I'm a Southern girl to my core, a self-proclaimed smut whore, and I can't believe I now have over ten books on Amazon, much less that I did it: I’m an author, but honestly… I don’t believe the rumors, lol. I don’t feel like a kickass bitch spittin’ out lyrics, or stories, like a motherfuckin’ rockstar.
Tattooed across my ribs are the words I have always lived by: 'Aut viam inveniam aut faciam tibi.' Latin for: If I cannot find a way, I will make my own.

4.5 chaos and carnage stars

Well...I do believe that the intro made it VERY clear as to what type of read this book will be! My mind was in complete chaos after I finished reading! Hell, who am I kidding? I'm still mentally scarred from this book...in a GOOD WAY of course.
I do believe that when writing books, Kimber S. Dawn has a contest with other authors as to how many times she can make the reader utter "wtf am I reading?!!" to themselves over the course of under 200 pages. And I do believe that, with this book, she has won that challenge.
Hands down one of the darkest reads I have had the pleasure of putting on my Kindle and in a book like this, the extreme darkness is needed. You cannot fully understand the characters without it.
Simply put, I loved this book. Plenty of plot twists and of course, a steamy sex scene! One that does not involve someone dying at the end of it! Woohoo! Way to go Roman! We knew you could do it!
So is Roman actually capable of redemption? Can one of the most blood thirsty of men in literature change? Well, you have to read the book to find out!!

HOLY SHIT....WELCOME TO THE MAD HOUSE!!!
JUST AMAZING !!
I must admit I went into this with some trepidation....I hated Roman in book 1, in fact nearly enough not to read this...but BLOODY HELL,I'm so glad I've read it
I'm going to hold my hands up and admit I've done a massive 'u' turn here because I LOVED him in this
My heart was in my mouth most of the time reading this and it took me until around 25% to get my head around the whole Heather/Mac/Mace thing..
I loved Heather in the first book and loved her just as much here but, holy hell, when Mace 'came out to play ' it was just BRILLIANT.Throughout everything her love for Roman never wavered

Have to mention Ivy...she is the cutest child character ever...

Depraved, Sadistic And Limit-Testing
I wasn't sure that things could get much more gruesome than the accounts of Roman's murders in the first book. I was wrong. Apparently, there were still a few grisly means of torture that I had yet to fathom. Roman's back in action...but this time he's got some competition!
Oh, how things have changed! After the first book's shocking finale, I couldn't begin to guess where the sequel would lead. I knew it would be dark. I expected some gore. Beyond that, I had absolutely no idea where the story would take me.
What a ride it was! From the start, there is a major revelation that completely changes everything. You don't know what you thought you did. Nothing is as it seemed.
Throw in some action, along with a lot of suspense, and I was sucked right in to this story. I kept flipping pages, too impatient to wait and see what was going to happen next.
As much as I wanted vengeance, I still found myself somewhat unprepared for the vivid descriptions of brutal acts that fill the pages of this book. I love a dark read, but Roman borders on "too dark" for my tastes. I still enjoyed the story and am glad I read it, but spent more time cringing than I anticipated.

☆☆☆☆☆ 5 Secrets Of Family Stars ☆☆☆☆☆
"If wishes were bullets and hopes were blades the look in her eyes would have riddled my heart with both until it was nothing more than paper mache."
ROMAN'S REDEMPTION is exactly what the title reads. This book is FANTASTIC in all it's gory darkness and I LOVED IT!!!
Roman is left to deal with death of the love of his love. He knows he doesn't deserve anything good, but he can't seem to suffer death and destruction by his own hands. It seems fate has something else planned for him.
What turns into one amazing story, we watch Roman become a real man and grow into an amazing father to Winter Ivy. She is the angel of his beloved Heather and him.
Ivy is living proof that when evil darkness and sweet fierceness fall in love, a true angel can be created to make things right.
Roman's path to some tiny form of goodness takes a journey of sadness, hate, revenge, shock, gratefulness and redemption.
As Heather journeys thru another part of hell, she gets back to her Roman and baby girl Ivy. She fights demons and monsters to live but this brings her into another battle with the devil, only thus time the devil isn't Roman.
Heather is finally able to show the strengths she has and is absolutely one of my fave female characters ever!!!!
Heather and Roman are fighting a larger battle than the monster inside of Roman. They have darkness lurking at them from every angle and the darkness spares no sorrow when he steals their angel Ivy.
"I need you to take the pain away the only way you can please," a broken sob escapes her lips.
This book is a tale of the dark secrets hidden within a family that can no longer be hidden. As Roman and Heather come closer to finding Ivy, family ties will be severed, in ever way imaginable.
Heather and Roman are pure dark perfection!!!
"I realize my mouse was never a mouse, she's a goddamn warrior.
My Ange Noire.
My Heather.
My Mac.
My mouse.
My Wife.
Let the games begin."
"Indeed, let's." My Dark Angel replies.
Any feelings you had in book 1 are obliterated and you are left absolutely in love with Monster #1....Roman is flawed awesomeness.
I am not sure I can wait for book 3!!!
I am begging you Miss Dawn......release this TODAY!!!!!

Obliterated. That's how my heart felt after finishing this book. Ms. Dawn, give me Part 3 of this story, *now*... *timid sounding, "please."*
Roman's Redemption is anything but as this story unfolds. His precious "Mouse" is gone, by his own hands no less. The one thing, the one person, that finally made him feel, is gone, and because she's gone, it's too late for Roman to realize that he had actually developed a soul, learned how to love, how to feel, how to want and need something so desperately that you're unwilling to lose it.
But it's too late. Mouse is gone and he can't tell her that it's because of her that he found that he *could* be a good man, that he *could* love someone besides himself.
After a massive... and I do mean, *MASSIVE*, killing spree he finds that there may be one person who can still save him. Mouse is gone, but their daughter, Winter Ivy remains. Being raised by the woman that raised him, Delores, and the woman that is taking care of her while while Roman trots around the globe killing woman after woman, he comes home only to find that Delores has a family emergency and must leave for a time to take care of things, leaving him to care for Ivy himself.
He's quite sure that this isn't something he wants, or can, do... until little Ivy walks in on him. She is his little "Mini Mouse", and he throws all of himself into caring for her. Together they make it work, opening up the channel between daddy and daughter. To help him heal.
I loved this second book. To find that The Devil had a heart. To watch it melt when he had to take care of his precious Ivy. Watch him grow a soul as he watched her grow. His Ivy.
But bad things are coming, and the Devil's soul is in jeopardy as are the lives of the ones that put it there. Nothing, and I do mean *nothing* is as it seems!
This book is dark and twisted and will leave you falling from happy heights to sad despair hitting every rung on the way down.
Oh and...
And that's all I'm going to say about that!

Dark and twisted and...
...not in an erotica way. This had some sick and disturbing scenes in it so beware. It was definitely more hardcore than book 1 and that's saying something. I enjoyed it but I did feel that, at times, the story got away from the author. There was a lot going on... lots of side stories. It didn't take away from my enjoyment but gave the book kind of a crazy train feel. Don't know, maybe that was the point.

wow! omg! wtf! you've got to be kidding me!
that pretty much sums up my range of emotions reading Romans Redemption! I won't post any spoilers! But I will say this! If you thought Roman book 1 was dark and twisted you have no idea! This surpassed all of the f'd up stuff that happened in book 1 and then some! I never thought that I would fall for Roman, since he is a crazy psycho but he has redeemed himself a bit with Heather in my eyes anyways! There are more twists and turns than a roller coaster so be prepared to freak the f out!! Well done Kimber!

Esto se puso demasiado enfermizo.
Hasta acá llegué.
Que la protagonista acepte sufrir porque le faltan un par de jugadores es una cosa... pero que detallen Cómo castigan crudamente a una niña de dos años es algo completamente diferente. Está mal en muchos niveles.
Sabía que no era una historia normal... pero esto se fue al carajo.
La autora tiene que hacerse ver porque está super trastornada!

Can a man like Roman ever be redeemed? Roman's sins have cost him what he loves the most in the world and his pain leads him on a path of bloodshed and carnage. His insatiable thirst for blood hasn't weaned from book one... in fact it multiplies. The scenes written in this book seem to come straight out of a gory horror movie so this read isn't for the faint of heart.
Although previously believed dead, Heather awakens to her new reality and awakens to a force within her- Mace. Mace is a tattooed, sassy little b!tch who takes Heather's place when sh!t really gets tough... an evil twin if you will. The split in her personality adds an edge to this story and I loved when Mace took over the pages.
Okay, now I said in Roman book one that this author wrote the most grotesque scene I'd ever read...well she's out done herself with this one!! OMG that scene...YUCKK! In my pre-teens I watched an 80s cult classic horror movie called Sleepaway Camp. It so WAS so disturbing and I never thought I'd ever encounter such a scene again...I was wrong.
I have to say...I loved this one way more than book one. I loved the intricate web of secrets and lies the author created and everyone became a player in this book...even those we would think were insignificant. There were flashbacks of history, past pain coming to life, and enough action to keep me hooked once I started. I was slightly disappointed in the dark turn Seb took...I was rooting for him at the end of book one *sigh* Ivy may be my favorite character! I can't wait to read her story and see what happens in her future.
I have to give props again because the ending of this book with Heather...WOW.... it just keeps getting darker and darker....I wish I could describe more but I just can't give too much away ;) You'll have to find out for yourselves. *evil laugh*
Overall, 5 stars for sure and I'd highly recommend this series to those who like a little erotica with their horror ;)

The scenes written in this book seem to come straight out of a gory horror movie so this read isn't for the faint of heart.
Although previously believed dead, Heather awakens to her new reality and awakens to a force within her- Mace. Mace is a tattooed, sassy little b!tch who takes Heather's place when sh!t really gets tough... an evil twin if you will. The split in her personality adds an edge to this story and I loved when Mace took over the pages.
Okay, now I said in Roman book one that this author wrote the most grotesque scene I'd ever read...well she's out done herself with this one!! OMG that scene...YUCKK! In my pre-teens I watched an 80s cult classic horror movie called Sleepaway Camp. It so WAS so disturbing and I never thought I'd ever encounter such a scene again...I was wrong.
I have to say...I loved this one way more than book one. I loved the intricate web of secrets and lies the author created and everyone became a player in this book...even those we would think were insignificant. There were flashbacks of history, past pain coming to life, and enough action to keep me hooked once I started. I was slightly disappointed in the dark turn Seb took...I was rooting for him at the end of book one *sigh* Ivy may be my favorite character! I can't wait to read her story and see what happens in her future.
I have to give props again because the ending of this book with Heather...WOW.... it just keeps getting darker and darker....I wish I could describe more but I just can't give too much away ;) You'll have to find out for yourselves. *evil laugh*
Overall, 5 stars for sure and I'd highly recommend this series to those who like a little erotica with their horror ;)

Okay. Okay. Okay. REALLY? WHY did this book have to end the way it did? I. Need. Answers. This is the second book in the Roman Series and readers like me are left with so many questions. This story ends on another cliffhanger but there is no word of when the third book will come (if ever). I really liked the first book Roman due its dark and twisted nature and this book is just as good if not better. However, the main character is COMPLETELY different in this book. It’s amazing the transformation that occurs to the characters.
Overall, readers can expect more darkness in this book although at the hands of a different evil. It’s a fairly quick read (I read it in a few hours) and fast paced. Readers may find that the character they ones loathed suddenly becomes one they can tolerate and even like. Its mind fuckery at its finest! Great read. I hope that a third book will come out soon.

I could not wait to get my hands on this book and wow... I was NOT disappointed! I can't wait for you to meet Mace, she is a little bad ass with an attitude. Sebastian... I'm not surprised. I had a funny feeling about him but I was not expecting some of the things that he did or was even capable of!

Dark and seriously twisted doesn't even come close to describing what this book was...and for someone like me who doesn't shock easily, that's saying something.
This is the second book in a trilogy and I'm not sure if I could handle reading another one of her books...so intense and brutal, that I had to keep taking breaks and doing something else for a while to get back to feeling normal!
Revenge, a traumatic split personality disorder, incest, a child's innocent devotion, family betrayal and seriously hard-to-read torture and abuse (of both male and females) make up most of this book. I am still stunned and don't really know how to even write a review for this one without spoiling all the devilish and dirty "fun" in store for the reader.
If you can handle this type of depraved and yet, at times very poetic story...go for it! Dark romance and horror fans alike might enjoy this tragic family saga.
Ends with most of the issues from book 1 resolved but leaving untied loose ends and more for book 3 to continue on.

After reading Roman, I didn't think it was possible to top it. I was sorely mistaken. Without a doubt I think that this could possibly be darkest, most disturbing book that I have ever read! I absolutely loved it! (How twisted am I?) As this dark and twisted story continues to unfold, it will push every boundary you ever had, even ones you didn't know of. It will take you on the most emotionally and mentally draining journey. The twists and turns will leave you completely mind blown and mind f**ked. As with Roman, this story is filled with extreme violence, brutality, and abuse. This book should be read with extreme caution. I highly recommend this book to any true lovers of dark.

I was lucky enough to be gifted this book from the author , I love where Kimber has taken Roman & Heather in book 2 . Everything will come together and comes full circle . Sebastian makes me want to hold him in a bath tub full of water and kill him . Roman has to be a man he isn't use to being . Just wait till yall meet Mace damn she can handle some shit . I'm hoping for more Roman . Amazing story would give this more then 5 stars

El primer libro me encantó. Tenía grandes expectativas sobre la continuación.
Durante todo el relato, me imaginé esas casetas que colocan en los reality show, donde los protagonistas hacen sus descargos sobre el resto de sus compañeros. Demasiados puntos de vistas.
Ratona se desquició, creo que ese es el punto que quieren marcar hacia el lector, Román apretó tanto paciencia, la maltrató de forma física y sicológica que la volvió insensible o muy parecida a el.

I liked this one even more the Roman's first book. Roman's Redemption showed a different side to Roman and i really enjoyed seeing him be a father. Mace is a strong bad ass bitch! My heart hurt for Rome and heather in the end, but that's not the end of their story. Another wonderful dark read from Kimber. I can't wait to see where she goes with these characters next!

Skipped a lot. Well written. Heather falls for serial killer Roman. He doesn’t kill her but beats her almost to death twice plus other stuff. He marries her. She has a couple of babies With him and develops split personality. They end up together.

Do you love the dark and twisted ?? Did Roman leave you speechless and yearning for more of his crazy sick and twisted mind ?? Do you feel like a sick and twisted person because you love this so much ?? Join the club !!!! I can't even watch a commercial for a horror movie but I am eating up this story in a matter of hours !! There is no possible way to write a good enough review for this story because Kimber is a mastermind with words and finding the right way to suck you in and obliterate you !! Anything I can say will fall short of how I really feel about this story. You just have to trust me and experience this for yourself. The one thing about Kimber is there is never an HEA , you may think you will get one but right at the end she will drag you under. Is this book a cliffy ?? I am not sure if there is a 3rd book but I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't. You have to have an open mind to take in this crazy and you may just lose a little of yourself in the process !!
For me I hated what Roman did at the end of book 1. Did I hate Roman , no I don't think I ever did. I was fascinated by him and until Heather came around his actions didn't really affect me emotionally. Once I grew to love Heather and of course when she was pregnant , Roman's actions really made me mad. Here we are in the aftermath of losing Heather and there is just complete and utter chaos. I am not sure who is coming and going. This book is not a dual POV we get at least 6 different POV's and at times it feels like 2 or 3 separate but intertwined stories going on. Roman may be sick and twisted but wait until you get a handle on Sebastian , that dude is just nasty , and a nasty you can hate. Then you meet Mace , WOW this chick is fierce and although my feelings of her are conflicted she is a welcome addition !! Lisbeth is another sick and twisted character we meet and I am hoping to get more of her if there is a 3rd book. Dolores , sweet Dolores , ya she may just blow your mind !! My absolute favorite favorite character from this part of Roman's journey is Ivy , Winter Ivy , this child will burrow deep into your heart and if anyone in this story will cause a book hangover it will be Ivy. She worms her way into Roman's cold dead heart and when you see the interactions between father and daughter you will melt. OMG you will melt , it was beautiful and of course then heartbreaking.
This story has the normal sick and twisted behavior , suspense , the element of surprise , so many surprises and even some multiple personalities !! There is no lack of action and we get many new sides of Roman !! For now I will be on the edge of my seat waiting for whatever Kimber does next !! Hoping for more Roman , wishing for Ivy but knowing I will read anything Kimber puts out there !!

Roman's Redemption held a lot of promise in the title. I had very mixed feelings from the first book, and took a lot of time to process the outcome. While waiting for this follow up to release, I enjoyed the teasers and was excited to find out more about Mace and her role in the story. Despite my background in dark and twisted books, I was not prepared for Mace's story.
This storyline does have all the components of a dark erotic novel. Being in the mind of several dark minds caused me to put this book down a lot! It was something I couldn't read in a few days. I felt the story was a bit choppy, but it could because I was reading it in sections at a time.
This book does end in a slight cliffhanger, but I am told by the author that the next book will be focused on a different couple. I hope we will be able to wrap up Roman & Heather's story in that book.
Will I read it? Probably. I'm curious enough to need the outcome of their story.

I will start by saying this book is not for the week or faint hearted or anyone who has triggers to abuse.

For anyone who has read a Kimber S Dawn book you know what to expect. They are so dark and twisted, its easy to think you wont find the light again, you feel like you finish the book and blink at how it light it really is around you. You wont know which way is up.
This book will challenge you on SO many levels. It's the kind of like watching a horror film. You know its going to scare you senseless, but you keep watching anyway. You think you will be able to watch through your fingers, but find yourself wide eyed, mouth open. It's compulsion at it's best. Once you are in Roman's tangled web, there is no getting out till the web breaks.
I think I was sat on the edge of my seat plenty of times, and quite a few times i had to put it down because it was like the part in a film where you have to either pause, stop go out the room telling yourself you cant watch any more, but finding yourself watching from the doorway.
I loved the whole thing. The whole THING. There was plenty of no, wtf, no, seriously, omg no moments.
I thought it was amazing. It was completely enthralling. It's shocking. It's Brilliance in it's entirety.
This gets 5/5 stars and 5/5 for movie moments

Well i have been eagerly anticipating this book for so long, i was left in a serious book hangover from book 1. This book takes a different path it is still shrouded in darkness which i loved, but oh my god will never look at a curling iron the same (shudders). To me it was more about Heather and her dark side than Roman, as the title suggests Roman becomes more redeemed to the reader. But lets face it i love dark Roman and the slightly redeemed Roman either will do me fine. I loved little Ivy her words and heart ah so cute. This book focuses bit more on characters we only got a glimpse of in book 1, which was more Roman and Heather's story but book 2 shows us the darkness in the people we only glimpsed in book 1. Heather and Mace what an interesting idea,how else would you survive what Heather has both mentally and physically. Also loved the ending. Not read any other Kimber S Dawn books yet but they are on my tbr list for sure, my first introduction to her work was Roman and Roman's Redemption did not disappoint either as Roman left me with such a book hangover. You will need to to read Roman before reading Roman's Redemption - but you will not be sorry for reading it it is brilliant. The story is romantic and dark and shows how sometimes these things are no match for that undenianble connection two people have despite their past and what they are underneath.

Dark and beautiful that is what this book is. And Roman the king of Darkness claiming his Queen, princes and court. Yes I know some will say that it is too dark. Some will say how could Kimber do this. But I say Hot dam girl this book in not only dark it is beautiful in it's darkness and if you truly, truly love to read you will love everything that is written on the pages of this tale of a Dark Prince that yes, will captivate you and make you see things his way. Yes you will cheer for him as if he were a hero saving a damsel in distress and not putting her there. You will love how he comes into the light and shows that he can have redemption when he is whole. But once you break him, once you take what does not belong to you. YOU WILL BASK in the glory of his wrath.
Kimber never ceases to amaze me with her way of turning a tale. I am a huge fan of her work and Roman is just simply put AMAZING!

Roman had it all and lost it in the blink of an eye; for no other reason than he let his demons surface once again. I literally just finished this book thirty minutes ago and I am still absolutely stunned. That is not meant in a negative way, but I am literally left shaking my head. Kimber’s writing is astonishing and she takes you one of the darkest, emotionally draining journeys that you will ever experience with this book. I thought that Roman was one of the most unique, intense and sinister characters that I have ever read until I was introduced to Sebastian and his family. The way that Heather’s character was evolved into the twisted puddle of insanity that she became was phenomenal. I’m going to keep my opinions to myself about the ending but I can tell you that I get it. Remarkable story, extraordinary characters and one uniquely disturbing and thrilling journey, Roman’s Redemption is definitely worth checking out.

WOW, fue una gran sorpresa pero la verdad quede decepcionada con este libro, lo esperaba tanto incluso volví a leer el primer libro para tener bien fresca la historia en mi mente y comencé a leer la segunda parte y a medida que iba avanzando la historia me sentía decepcionada, creo que el curso que tomo la historia fue solo para alargar mas y poder sacar otro libro que no creo que sea completamente necesario, en este libro se pudo concluir y darle final a la historia. Heather siempre me pareció el personaje mas fuerte, porque solamente una mujer así podría enamorarse y soportar a Roman, pero en esta historia lo unico que veo es al recuerdo de aquel personaje, nada que ver.
Roman sigue igual de intenso pero de que sirve cuando la historia te esta llevando para otro rumbo.
Aun no se si saldrá otro libro mas y no se si lo voy a leer pero que lastima que esta historia para mi aquí termina.

When it comes to Roman....who wouldn't beg for more????? I read the first book in this series for a BOTM and was kind of upset that I was having to wait for the second book. Well it was made a mid month BOTM and my dreams came true!
I love this series. I absolutely do, but I would be head over heals if the continuity of the writing were better. As with the first book, I had some problems with the way the story transitioned from one thing to another. There were definite time gaps and some of these gaps seemed pretty important to the story. I do think this could have been an even more amazing story if expanded upon. But I will take what I can get and what I did get I loved, so thank you!!!!
