Mya ma’am I need more from the Solomon family! When I say more I mean the drama, steam, highs, lows, healing, fire, sexual chemistry, passionate energy, and love. Royal and Queen were both deserving of the high you get from the sweetest, purest love there is. They had both lost in the game of love previously. They became fast friends sharing bonds, laughter, peace, and flirtatious glances, and playing dangerous games. Being never able to truly experience love and being mishandled Queen wasn’t initially willing to let anyone in. Having met a man who treated her as name calls for she’s unable to fully embrace it due to previous trauma but being surrounded and encouraged by other real friends she comes to the realization that she needs to heal and all men aren’t the same. That’s definitely not the case for Mr. Royal Solomon. He’s attentive, thoughtful, genuine, and gives her the highest praise in person and privately. She learns to let love in and grow from her past and let light and love in. They give each other just what they need highs and soul ties 10/10
I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. Queen just needed a man to pour into her and love her like she deserved to be loved and Royal was up for the job. He loved her unconditionally and put his heart on the line in hopes that she would catch up and allow them to have their happily ever after. Queen was able to heal and allow that man to love her.
I enjoyed this side characters in this story and I loved the found family aspect as well. If you’re a fan of close proximity or best friend’s brother romances, this is a good one to read.
Omg!!! This was so cute! Loved that she didn’t know anything in truth about what her best friend’s family was about. Royal said he knew from day one andI loved that for my girl lol. More please from this crew.
Royal and Queen story was beautiful. I love how they loved each other. Also how Royal gave Queen the opportunity to heal from everything. He was going to get his woman once she healed. Sometimes, family are not the people you are born with but who you grow with.
I love all of Mya’s books!!! Queen and Royal just intensified my love for her work! This was a great read! Royal was feeling Queen for the first day she came to the steps to become his roommate. He prolonged moving back home just to be under her! She never really had real love or family. She got that and more with the Solomon’s. Ready for another book!
I love Queen and Royal. Their love story was beautiful and healing. They both had gone through so much when it came to love. They deserved a win.
Their roommate agreement was the perfect setup. The chemistry was off the charts as well as the respect. Getting together was a no-brainer. And Riot who knew. Although Royal told him he would find the one to slow him down.
Queen and Royal were everything. I loved the growth of Queen in the story. I'm glad she knew that she needed therapy and needed to heal. The way Royal loved on her during their situationship was everything. He was so intentional and caring. I don't see how Queen didn't accept his offer of a relationship the first time. I would've been getting healed while being in my relationship, lol. This was a really beautiful story with a little bit of mafia thrown in.
After Queen is kicked out by her no good boyfriend, she moves into a townhouse with her best friend's brother, Royal. Royal wants Queen from the jump. He makes it his purpose to put pressure on Queen to make her his woman. Queen has been so hurt in the past that she wasn't receptive to being in a relationship. They eventually enter into a no-strings arrangement because the chemistry between them was too hot to ignore. Queen realized that she wasn't ready for the love that Royal was offering was. Royal also realized that Queen needed time and space to overcome her past hurts. I loved how Queen got herself together in her time apart from Royal and went and got her man. I'm glad that when a threat comes back into Royal's life, Queen accepted his past and stayed by his side. I also loved what Reign and Riot brought to the story and their sibling shenanigans. This book had undying love, passion and danger which I thoroughly enjoyed.
This book really got to me! Poor Queen has been through some stuff with her no-good ex. That guy made me so mad with how he treated her. Karma's a real bitch, and she won't forget him! So when that messed-up door closed, a new, strong, solid, durable one opened with her destiny in the form of Royal Solomon.
Whewwweee Chile, that man was exactly what Queen needed and deserved. The drama, chemistry, flirtation, the spicy smexy scenes, and that beautiful epilogue took this book to a whole new level, so it's definitely stars from me. This author's books just keep getting better and better. Thanks, Mya, for another banger. I can't wait to read your next book.
Loved this story! Queen and Royal were too cute together. Love wasn't a part of being the roommate, but boy it worked out for the both of them. There was a little friction because their hearts couldn't and wouldn't stick with the original plan.
Queen needed to do some work on herself before she could truly accept & receive the love that Royal had for her, and that was okay.
Question: What was the purpose of her ex.,Lorenzo, showing up at her art premiere? It made no sense.
Queen had a friend that blessed her royally, that asked nothing in return. It sure would be nice to have a Christmas novella with this family.
Royal and Queen journey was a good read. Queen carried a lot of trauma from past relationships that kept her stuck and guarded. Royal had his own pain too, but he was still open to the possibility of love and ready to take that chance again. 💭❤️
Queen often created moments of intimacy with Royal, only to push him away just as quickly, which made their connection feel like an emotional tug-of-war. 😩💔 With the help she needed, she finally faced her past and began to heal. In the end, she was able to let go, embrace love, and build a future with Royal.
This was a cute “forced proximity/best friend’s brother” story. They had really good chemistry from almost day 1. And I really liked the little ways we saw their relationship grow (gym dates, movie nights, etc). I like how patient he was toward her and how he gave her the space she needed to heal. And my goodness did she need that time. Not gonna lie, I lost interest about halfway in though but decided to finish it to see the story play out. The mafia storyline thrown in towards the end felt kinda random and out of place (to me).
I absolutely loved Queen and Royal’s love story. My girl Queen had me wanting to snatch her up a few times but I also understood her; she had been through a lot so she was guarded at times. Royal is definitely added to my favorite book boyfriend list! The way he broke her down and made her fall in love made me swoon. I’m so happy they both got the happily ever after they deserved. 5 stars!!!
This was such a nice love story. After Reign’s initial heartbreak from a f**k boy couldn’t help her heal through her trauma of loss, came a real man In the form of a roommate who gave her the love and space she needed to heal. He was patient with her and allowed her to learn what it feels like to open yourself up completely. Once Reign was open, she was able to reach the ultimate high, and it only got better from there.
I knew that was going to happen when Royal opened the door, chemistry was hott between them. Riot was funny as all get out it's always the baby that acts up and he didn't disappoint😀😀 I loved this book
All of the love that Royal had to give but Queen was not ready to receive. Im so glad she opened up to someone and got the help she needed. Their love was so cute and just what the doctor ordered. I can't wait for more on the siblings.

Queen and Royal. What a wonderful story. Queen at times made me what to strangle her just like her bestie said. But I’m glad she took the steps to heal so she could love again. I’m going to keep praying for my Royal.
Queen and Royal priceless! Drama minimum , and concerns were talked bout!!! I love this story! Each character had personality, laughter and each other! Strong family ties! The banter loved it!!!! Such a great read!!
I love me a close proximity love story ! Queen and Royal gave me all the feels!! Their friendship develop into a real, intentional love ! Royal is definitely top tier book bae material!
