Mya ma’am I need more from the Solomon family! When I say more I mean the drama, steam, highs, lows, healing, fire, sexual chemistry, passionate energy, and love. Royal and Queen were both deserving of the high you get from the sweetest, purest love there is. They had both lost in the game of love previously. They became fast friends sharing bonds, laughter, peace, and flirtatious glances, and playing dangerous games. Being never able to truly experience love and being mishandled Queen wasn’t initially willing to let anyone in. Having met a man who treated her as name calls for she’s unable to fully embrace it due to previous trauma but being surrounded and encouraged by other real friends she comes to the realization that she needs to heal and all men aren’t the same. That’s definitely not the case for Mr. Royal Solomon. He’s attentive, thoughtful, genuine, and gives her the highest praise in person and privately. She learns to let love in and grow from her past and let light and love in. They give each other just what they need highs and soul ties 10/10
I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. Queen just needed a man to pour into her and love her like she deserved to be loved and Royal was up for the job. He loved her unconditionally and put his heart on the line in hopes that she would catch up and allow them to have their happily ever after. Queen was able to heal and allow that man to love her.
I enjoyed this side characters in this story and I loved the found family aspect as well. If you’re a fan of close proximity or best friend’s brother romances, this is a good one to read.
Omg!!! This was so cute! Loved that she didn’t know anything in truth about what her best friend’s family was about. Royal said he knew from day one andI loved that for my girl lol. More please from this crew.
Royal and Queen story was beautiful. I love how they loved each other. Also how Royal gave Queen the opportunity to heal from everything. He was going to get his woman once she healed. Sometimes, family are not the people you are born with but who you grow with.
I love all of Mya’s books!!! Queen and Royal just intensified my love for her work! This was a great read! Royal was feeling Queen for the first day she came to the steps to become his roommate. He prolonged moving back home just to be under her! She never really had real love or family. She got that and more with the Solomon’s. Ready for another book!
I love Queen and Royal. Their love story was beautiful and healing. They both had gone through so much when it came to love. They deserved a win.
Their roommate agreement was the perfect setup. The chemistry was off the charts as well as the respect. Getting together was a no-brainer. And Riot who knew. Although Royal told him he would find the one to slow him down.
Loved this story! Queen and Royal were too cute together. Love wasn't a part of being the roommate, but boy it worked out for the both of them. There was a little friction because their hearts couldn't and wouldn't stick with the original plan.
Queen needed to do some work on herself before she could truly accept & receive the love that Royal had for her, and that was okay.
Question: What was the purpose of her ex.,Lorenzo, showing up at her art premiere? It made no sense.
Queen had a friend that blessed her royally, that asked nothing in return. It sure would be nice to have a Christmas novella with this family.
This was a cute “forced proximity/best friend’s brother” story. They had really good chemistry from almost day 1. And I really liked the little ways we saw their relationship grow (gym dates, movie nights, etc). I like how patient he was toward her and how he gave her the space she needed to heal. And my goodness did she need that time. Not gonna lie, I lost interest about halfway in though but decided to finish it to see the story play out. The mafia storyline thrown in towards the end felt kinda random and out of place (to me).
