It’s just part one, I know and I tried but really. So why?

Well, it have that potential at the start. But, it’s kind of I’ve read this same plot like so many time times. The heroine working in a bar but doesn’t left with anyone that’s in there, a hero who’s a bad boy but he’s bi, so I guess that’s new, a little. And another hero who I haven’t pegged yet.

Well, sometimes I love those times when they characters have that first moment of meeting each other because I wanted to feel the connection first. But if not, I wanted to feel that feeling they have, of longing of wanting someone or that tension just to know there is a connection. Sadly, I didn’t feel it.

And it is my pet peeve when I have to live in the characters head and think of all the things they feel and yet not feel it. That’s kind of getting old. Plus there was that cliffhanger in the end. I usually detest those or love them depending on the situation, but seriously, after a first fuck and thinking you’re gonna start a relationship, and not even that strong enough yet or foundation other than great sex, sprung up another guy into the situation, will you? And there’s no mystery left for me. I could just tell how the story will unfold. You know how the story will end and the fun part is reading the chapters in between but when you know how it will happen one way or another? Well, you took all the fun out f me.

Definitely not worth recommending. Unless you’re all want to read some ménage and just great sex minus the story, then go for it. Other than that? Nah, not my cup of tea.

I am ashamed to say I haven't read anything by Rachael before, and can I just say damn I shoulda.

This was part one of a serial that Rachael is doing. I loved it. The depth of her characters is stunning. They act like real people would. I could so see the pickup/hookup thing happening in real life so that was awesome.

There are a few places where the description repeats itself, but I bet she will fix it in final edits. This is the only thing I can say that's even slightly wrong with the book otherwise its fantastic and you should grab it.

Yikeys, oh WOW, sweet ass, I could go on and on. This serial starts off great. I love the characters. They feel real and you can relate to them.

I love how Alicia is a bartender not a corporate big shot. She is down to earth and real.

Ace is a wonderful bad boy biker. I enjoy how he sees what he wants and goes for it.

Adam is fantastic as a side man. I can’t wait to learn more about him, and the others as this goes along.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Sexy biker Ace has the hots for Alicia. When Alicia catches him in a compromising position she doesn't know what to think. Watching him with another was sexy as hell and she couldn't help but feel disappointed that it wasn't her with Ace.

Ace has plans for Alicia and getting her in bed is just the beginning. He wants to add Adam so he can have everything he wants and everything each of them needs. They just don't know it yet.

I devoured this first part in what seemed like minutes. I can't wait to read the next part. Be prepared to be get hot and sweaty -- and in a good way.

Rachael Orman is a new Author for me and I must say, this was a very HOT introduction! In the Moment is an erotic M/M/F series that will be broken up into five parts. I devoured part one before I could finish my coffee (who needs coffee if you have this to perk you up)!

In the Moment: Part One is a quick read (like under 50 pages) and it does a good job up setting up the main players for this series (Ace, Adam and Alicia), and getting right to some intense heat. The pacing is quick, the characters are people we just met so it is hard to say how I truly feel about this series just yet. I do know that I will be begging Rachel for part two very soon!

If you love serials, M/M/F erotica and intense, quick reads then In the Moment will be the perfect morsel to devour tonight!

I received this from the author for an honest review.
I'm going to love this series Rachael, you've done it again. You hook us with just enough that we can't wait for more and that's what you did with this book. Love the intensity of Ace (perfect fitting name) and how he takes control. I can't wait to see how Adam and Alicia are going to get along. It's hot, it's steamy, and a perfect read. The writing just draws you into the story, a sign of a great writer.

Well that was arousing. Alicia, Ace, and Adam not in that order and not all at once but my and Alicia role as an intruder of an intimate moment in the supply closet have me wanting more. Ace has a plan but when he starts to share it all hell breaks lose and clothes fly off. Yeah I need part 2 now Rachael. I can sleep happy tonight.

Holy Cliffhanger. What a super amazing novella. Ace, Alicia, & Adam.

My favorite teaser portion from the book....
Finally I shoved against his shoulder, and he rolled to the side.
"You are heavy." I moaned, grasping for breath now that my lungs could fully expand.
"That is what you have to say after all that? Give me ten minutes, and I'll make sure you have something much different to say when I'm finished."

Emotions go flying, Clothes go flying, & crazy plans are being made. Ace knows what he wants. Alicia knows what she wants. Adam knows what he wants. No one wants the same thing. Ace wants a relationship with them both. Alicia wants a one night stand with Ace. Adam wants a relationship with Ace. What will happen when plans are revealed and they decide what to do? Read this and the rest of The Moment Novella Series to find out :)

Thanks Wicked Reads for a free book to read and review.

God, I really wanted to be in the moment too! Ace is a man of few words, and apparently a man of action. Lots of action. The book starts out with some male on male action, but it quickly becomes known that Ace likes women too. Alicia seems attracted to Ace but when she's not the one night stand type. It will be interesting to see how these two tango, and will Ace bring in a third. I enjoyed the first part and give it four stars of entertainment!

Wow, all I can say is holy hotness! This was the first installment of the series and my oh my was it good. Short and to the point, you have two hotties going at it in a supply closet and Alicia walks in. What would you do? Then one of the said hotties wants you. What would you do? I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Characters: The characters were well written and believable.
Sex: yes
Religious: no
Would I recommend to others: yes
More than one book in the series: yes
Genre: M/F/M/Romance
Would I read more by this author: yes

I have always been a fan of Rachael Orman. She does not disappoint with her first venture in MMF. This is only part 1, but you will be craving more immediately. The dynamic between Alicia, Ace, and Adam is explosive. When you think the character is going one way, they go another way. It is fast paced and will leave you thinking what the hell just happened. The chemistry between everyone is off the charts hot! I can't wait for Part 2 to see how it all plays out!

This was a short quick read. Got my attention right away. I thought the author did a great job introducing the characters in this short story.
There were things I liked about this book and things I didn't care for.
I'll start what I liked about the book.

Ace and Adam were seriously hot! The storage room scene and the bathroom scene!
Yup! I loved it!!

Now... The things I didn't care for.

Ace not really being upfront that he's Bi. Even though he said he was not hiding it...
But, also not advertising that he's into men and women. I felt he was kind of hiding the fact that he was Bi. Since he would show off with different women around his friends. He didn't want his friends to give him a hard time about it.

Ace was a hard guy to like. He came on strong and never took no for an answer.
I really didn't like how he first kissed Alicia.
He buried his hands in her hair then yanking her out of the car...

To me... It sounded like he was grabbing her by the hair and pulled her out of the car!...
Ughhh no!...lol

It didn't even sound sexy. I even read it a couple of times.... To make sure I was reading it right!lol

I think it would have been better for me if he would have done it at a different time. She had just caught him with another person. And, maybe just a different first kiss.

And... The 1st time they have sex. I think Ace could have waited for all the serious talk. He was killing the moment and the flow of the sex for me!...lol

Overall... I thought this was a good short story. I'm interested in it. I can't wait to read the next book in this mini series.

***Since my copy of this book is an ARC, I cannot speak of any errors I may have or may not have found***

While I do like a bit of hot steamy sex in my stories, I like there to be more story than sex. Sometimes, though, I get asked to review the exact opposite. Such was the case with In the Moment. I do have to admit that this story is alright. Granted, there's sex pretty much on every page, but the characters are developed just enough to give the reader a feel for them, to let the reader know that these fictional characters aren't just generic creations. The banter between Ace and, well, anyone is enough to bring a smile and the occasional chuckle to the reader's lips, and Alicia is more confused about what she wants than I think she even knows. What little actual plotline there is in the first part of this series, was enough for me to eagerly turn the page. It's also enough to leave me in anticipation of part 2. Well done Ms. Orman, you've accomplished what so few others have concerning my enjoyment of this genre.

I give this book 5 of 5 paws

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Much as I will admit to liking books all in one chunk, there was nothing that would have stopped me giving this my attention. Firstly Ms Orman has always delivered a great story, with plausible lines, sexy as anything characters and a worthwhile conclusion. Secondly, two guys and a woman on the front of the cover calls for me to learn more!

I was not at all disappointed - I love the set up, clearly Ace has a master plan, and Adam and Alicia are just going to find out how intriguing that will be. In such a short introduction, it can be difficult to get the lie of the land, but just enough is revealed to make wanting the second installment to hand.

GET YOUR FREAK ON !! I love me some m/m and as always love me some hot m/f but I love even more the promise of what is to come in the next piece of this story !! This is a promising start to a yummy erotic serial. I can't pinpoint why I love these serials so much , maybe the amount of hot sex in them , maybe the fact that they normally end with some kind of a cliffy ?? No clue but I am obsessed and this is no exception. I am invested and seriously feel heated with anticipation !!

This story wastes no time getting to the point !! Alicia catches Ace in a compromising position. Shocked to find an MC biker this way and also shocked at how turned on she is !! Alicia and Ace have their little sexually charged spats which quickly turn into a release when they give in. Ace is also having his fun with Adam. Ace is HOT and intense and I cannot wait for more.

This is the first book by Rachael Orman that I have read. This is part 1 of a 5 part serial series. I was able to read it right before I fell asleep last night. This is a short read, around 40 pages, but it gives us a good introduction to the characters. Not too much background on them, but hopefully that will come in the following books. This does have some M/M scenes and M/F, and is working up to M/M/F.

Ace is the hot, mysterious biker, Alicia is the bartender, and Adam is the other hottie that will make up this triangle. That's if Ace can get Alicia to agree to it. This story left me wondering if, and how, Ace will do it!

"I might like it rough, but I won't hurt you. I want to make you feel better than ever before."

Definitely a serial I will continue to read

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Ménage, multiple points of view, set in a bar and a blow job on the second page gave me high hopes for In the Moment. This book had lots of thing I love but unfortunately it fell flat for me. I struggled to connect with the characters and just when I thought it might happen the big final scene that just left me scratching my head thinking that there was a better time to be dealing with their issues. In the Moment wasn't for me.

Hot steamy quick read. I'm not usually a fan of M/M but man did Racheal Orman write it hot. Meet Alicia a bartender at the local biker hangout. She's keeps to herself but is attracted to Ace the hard tattooed biker. Until one night she walks in on Ace in a compromising position with another man. There goes her fantasy of having hot steamy sex with Ace but Ace isn't gay he's bisexual and he wants Alicia. He will try everything he can to wear her down and boy is he good. The sex that Ace has with Adam and Alicia is extremely panty melting. His plan is to have them both but are they going to be willing? Can't wait for the next part in this series.

A very nice quick easy read. A storyline that holds interest and attention. Just enough detail to enhance. Fun and entertaining. Characters that support and bring this great storyline to life. Very well written. Intimate scenes that are just off the scale HOTT! An ending that leaves a need for more. Very much worth the read. Highly suggest! AndreaGAH

This review will only be on book 1 as that is as far as I have read in the series. Part 1 of In The Moment contains M/M and M/F scenes without the M/M/F but seems to be leading to that. The story as a whole (the roughly two chapters that make up part 1) are well written and more of an erotica story than anything with a plot.
My one major hangup with the story is the main biker bad boy Ace. For being in an MC he is emotional (crying during sex because she hurt his feeling) and not much of the bad boy I envision of the subset of character.
I also am not a fan of drawn out series of two chapter books that end in a cliffhanger such as this. Not that I know if the other four have cliffhangers, I am just assuming. Saving grace is that it is on KU otherwise I would not be paying for the few pages received per part.

Sexy men are hard to resist

Alicia saw Ace and couldn't help but wonder. When she found him in the supply closet she knew her chances were gone. Until he captured her at her truck and then her house. She had to give in. But will she give in totally to Ace.

Not an MMF

To get to the MMF, you have to buy another book. This has 2 MM scenes and 2 MF scenes. The author does a lot of mixing past and present tense in the same sentence. Otherwise, it's fine for a quick read.

This was hot! It was way too short and I really want to see what happens with these 3!! Which is super frustrating. I love that Ace is so open with his bisexuality with Alicia. Adam and Ace were hot together, so were Ace and Alicia. I love that Alicia met Adam at the bar before Ace had a chance to introduce them but I'm still not aware if Adam is bisexual or not, I hope he is, I love when the triangle goes in all directions.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Normally I don’t like to review serials unless I have all of the installments to read back to back. I understand that defeats the purpose of the serial, but I read at least one book daily, so if the installments are released weekly, there will be a minimum of six books read in between and if the installments are released bi-weekly, that’s no less than 13 books read, giving me far too much time to forget the details of the previous book(s). One of the many benefits of being a blogger is that I usually get all of the installments at the same time. However, in the case of In the Moment, even though I’m receiving the installments prior to their release, I still have to wait about two weeks in between as well. Why, pray tell, am I explaining all of this in my review? Because despite my dislike of trickle release serials, I have wanted to read Ms. Orman’s writing for several months now and keep missing out on the review opportunities due to scheduling. So in this instance, the serial format of In the Moment is perfect for me because it is far easier for me to slip a novelette into my review schedule every two weeks than it is a full-length novel.

As for Part One of In the Moment, I enjoyed the heck out of it. This installment serves to introduce the reader to the main characters of the series – Alicia, Ace, and Adam. Being as the novelette is only 35 pages and the serial format is intended to introduce the reader to the characters while sparking their interest enough that they want to read the next installment, there is not a huge amount of character development. While I picked up on bits and pieces about each of the characters, I felt like I learned the most about Alicia. I’m not sure which surprised me more about Alicia – that she capitulated to Ace as quickly as she did OR that she ran when he told her where he wanted to their “relationship” to go next. Ace is the quintessential bad boy biker – tatted up, growly, and alpha-male dominant. I liked his steamrolling attitude and that’s why his telling Alicia that she was his dream seemed out of character. Granted, his character is still developing and future installments may show him to have a bit of a soft side, but as he presents in this part it just felt off. I will say that Ms. Orman can certainly write a hot sex scene – both MM and MF. Because I won’t know until I finish all five parts whether or not this series will be added to my reread list, I am giving In the Moment: Part One 4 stars, but if I find that the series is one that I plan to reread, I will adjust my rating accordingly. Now, I’m off to take advantage of being a blogger and I get to read In the Moment: Part Two now because I want to see what happens next. Well done Ms. Orman, you definitely hooked me in.
