What they both didn't expect was that last dinner bringing up some much needed tension and sexual feelings for the both of them. The chemistry even when they tried to suppress is was truly intense and electric. I don't know how they went that long without addressing it! One chance encounter and thing were poppin' off like firecrackers. Who could go back to never speaking again when you meet the person that "Turns ya shit upside down, and right side up all at the same time" I know I sure wouldn't...
I loved this read and though it was short I still felt like I got a complete story. I really appreciated that there was mentions of therapy and healthy communication. I also liked that these characters were GROWN but also seemed very real. Cause sometimes age had nothing to do with the things you hold on to when it comes to mental health and trauma. I love that this was something that was also touched on and with great care.

My girl has done it again, I couldn’t read it when it dropped because my daughter had a softball tournament and this book would have gotten me kick out, so I have to read something else!
Chas and Hakeem’s story is definitely a must read if you love erotic romance novels, cause my girl definitely can write a very erotic and spicy bedroom or anywhere scene.
Chas was looking for her fairy tale and Hakeem was afraid of the fairytale, well love in general but he couldn’t shake the way he felt about Chas. Everyone try to tell him but he was stubborn but in the end he decided to trust his heart.
If you love erotic romance novels and sexual bucket list you will definitely love this book!

I almost never write reviews on book whether good or bad but this deserves it! My sweetness today! The author's note had me before I even started the book. She told no lies! If you don't like explicit erotica or bbw, this book isn't for you! Chas and Hakeem is a match made in heaven. I respected the hell out of Chas for going along for the ride and stepping back when she needed to. Hakeem needed to figure out his own demons even with everyone telling him their pov.
