Now Casey and Lennon’s reunion is a second chance at magic. Their bond is still a healing flame, burning bright as if they’d never been apart. But with the first anniversary of Lucas’s death, their timing strikes a raw nerve. To do this right, they agree to take things slow, but the trials continue at full speed. As Casey’s new shop opens, life pours fresh fuel on their tenderest wounds. Between the scrutiny of those around them and the internal shadows they can’t escape, they must face a devastating question: Have they truly healed, or will grief always be the omnipresent third wheel in their relationship?
Then Before the grief, there’s Lucas, the brooding barista who knows Casey’s coffee order by heart. What starts as a bold invitation to a concert quickly ignites into a whirlwind romance. Despite their differences, it’s the perfect fairytale. But their bliss falters as reality begins to claw at the edges. Pushed to the brink by toxic family dynamics, Casey and Lucas make brazen decisions to protect their future. They’re inseparable—until the tragic accident that changes everything, propelling a shattered Casey toward the only person who can understand her pain: Lucas’s twin brother.
A dual-timeline sequel to Feels Like Fire, this journey follows Lennon and Casey into their future while reaching back into their past. It is an exploration of who Lucas was, how he and Casey first began, and the unbreakable bond he shared with his twin—proving that even the most treacherous roads can eventually lead to joy.
NICOLE FELLER is a Jesus-loving homeschool mom with a nostalgic heart and a fondness for historic charm.
When Nicole isn’t writing, she enjoys exploring old cities, antiquing, listening to her meticulously curated playlists, hanging out at the local coffee shops, reading love stories, quoting all the movies, and working on house projects with her husband, Daniel. Her most favorite thing in the world is being Jude’s mom.
Nicole and her family live in a sweet little 1930 house in west central Florida with their Himalayan, Poe, and their Siamese, Navy.
This book was just as good as the first one. I’m pretty sure I cried just as much. This book WRECKED me. Especially that extra POV chapter-oof. But goodness it was soo good. It was unbelievably beautiful and Nicole really has a way with words and knows how to linger in a scene just long enough. Not to mention the YEARNING.
The biggest takeaway is how well she managed to weave the complexity of love and loss and the raw messiness of people and relationships and where God fits in all of it. There is a lot of drama but it all comes together at the end in such a wholesome way.
These books will always have a place in my heart and I wish I could give them the words they deserve.
