Rose Clairborne works the circuit town to town, never setting down roots, all to keep her mother in an upscale nursing home in England. That is, until she came to Markham to work at Rebel Circus, a gentleman’s club run by the Red Rebels MC. This town seems to be setting its roots in her for some reason.

Trevor “Tank” Williams is the Vice President of the Red Rebels MC, and an amiable flirtation with Rose Clairborne is one of the better aspects of life. The club is getting in deep with the Sachetti crime family, drawing the ire of rival outlaw factions. When they set their sights on Markham, looking to even the score for a million dollar contract the Red Rebels snatched out of their grasp, no one with a club affiliation is safe.

Forging a new relationship, while protecting his club and town is a lot to take on, even for a bear of a man like Tank. And at this stage of Rose’s life, is she still willing to continue living out of her car trunk, or is it time to finally pick an address that’s entirely hers?

Rose Clairborne is a British ex-pat dancing her way across America on the traveling stripper circuit. VP of the Red Rebels MC Trevor “Tank” Williams can't seem to keep his eyes of the new girl. Though the Rebel Circus is one the businesses owned by the club, he does not make a habit of hitting on the women just trying to make a living there. What starts as playful banter, builds into more that is endangered when club drama intrudes.

The Good:
description

1. This is the image of stripper life that has been missing from my romancelandia landscape. The heroine is a fun party girl, with a good head on her shoulders. It does throw in a sick mother as the reason she needs extra money, but it is an aside. It doesn't become the huge book eating tragedy that has annoyed me in other books with the trope. Rose is constantly switching up, and serves looks, while expressing a joy of performing that I appreciated reading about.

2. Rose is super likable, just adorable without being cutesy. She is beautiful, strong, and with a nice sense of humor. Her being a British black girl living in the American sticks was unique, and charming.

3. Maybe being a Texas girl removes the romanticizing factor of cowboy heroes for me. Yet I was totally into Tanks cowboy biker thing. Especially how he worshiped at the altar of Rose, and recognized his luck of her letting him into her world, versus the other way around.

4. I started with this book, and had no problem following along. It worked easily as a standalone in a series.

5. This book had a huge supporting cast, but they added to the experience instead distracting from the main couple's story.

6. The MC action was fire, and had me totally caught up.

7. This acknowledged racial and cultural differences in a realistic way without it becoming the main drama fueling the story.

The Bad:
1. This series does not pull punches when it comes to trauma on the main characters. What happens to Especially because it affected her future agency in regards to a dependency on the hero.

Final Thoughts:
I love both biker, and interracial romance stories. It is so hard to find things that combine those elements well. This is a winner on a lot of fronts. This is my first book by this writer, and it definitely won't be my last.

Absolutely LOVED! I recommend you read this series back to back because, even though each book is about a different couple, it's one continuous story when it comes to the club.
LOVE the men of Red Rebels MC and anxiously awaiting more books in the series.
Full review to come.

Another great story from this author about the Red Rebels MC. I liked Tank's character from book 1 and the author did not disappoint me with his portrayal in this book. He's the direct opposite of Rose. His nickname is Cowboy, he wears a stetson and is pure alpha but he's got a really sensitive side also. Rose comes to the US and is a trained dancer who doesn't make it on Broadway and ends up stripping. She ends up at the MC's strip club and the romance begins. She's strong but then has some insecurities about the black/white issue. She is proud of her heritage but realizes not everyone accepts her, especially in a predominantly white community. I don't want to give to much away as far as spoilers but be prepared there are some graphic scenes of torture. There's no cheating and there is a HEA.

Applause...applause....applause, beautifully written, worthy of five golden stars! And second place in my library of biker books. Book two of Red Rebels MC surpassed all of my expectations. Is it dark? Oooh hell yeah controversially intense, that deals with real subject matters. You want hearts and flowers, go read Alice in Wonderland, this is for those who crave dark, gritty and disturbing. At times I had to walk away, take a breathier cause my own emotions were scattered all of the place. I was a wreck! Its humbling to find an author who writes about all people regardless of race, sexuality or other kinks in a manner where its realistic and not categorized. C.D. Breadner did that, the outcome......art, living, breathing art among words. So onto the review....Spoiler Alert..... Spoiler Alert.....Spoiler Alert.

Living like a gypsy with her friends, traveling from one town to the next Rose Clairborne has always danced. From the time she was little she'd had received formal training, now those talents are being put to a different use!
 photo Rose.jpg .
But one unforgettable night changed all that, when her world went spiraling down like dominoes. Caught in the middle of a Mad Gypsys turf war Rose must rely upon the Red Rebels protection.
The last thing Tank wanted was to be seen as a creepy, slimy boss hitting on one of the employees. As Vice President of Red Rebels he helped run the strip club. The brains behind the muscle, he ensured everyone's safety but it all comes to a head when the Mad Gypsys targets the women of the MC and their cash cow revenues.
 photo Tank.jpg
Sheriff Downey ("I believe you when you say the club hasn't mentioned the Gypsys lately, within your hearing. I'm curious to know why, since they attacked Gertie and shot Trinny. The club normally wouldn't let these assholes skate on showing up in Markham, never mind the rest of it.

I hope the author continues on with this series as it has soooo many potentials. I love all the characters and darkness she writes about, its not glamorized or romanticized. Its hard hitting shit, in your face human trafficking, rape, drug use, physical brutality

C.D. Breadner is a friend and fellow writer in the Freak Circle Press.

I love this story. I love the camaraderie of the Red Rebels and their women. They are a real family, and they all shine in this story of Tank and Rose.

Rose is a complex, interesting woman who is struggling to find her fit in the world. She's gone through some tough times, and she goes through more in this story. Her troubles have made her cling to her independence. She meets Tank, and her plans and needs change in ways that confuse and scare her.

OMG I love Tank. He knows what he wants, and he doesn't get all freaked out and jerkface-y about having emotions. He's strong and fierce, but also gentle and patient. He's the perfect fit for Rose, who has some things to work out before she can see that she'll be stronger with the right partner than she ever could be on her own.

5 "It was like being consumed." Stars

The Red Rebels of Markham have snuck into my reading heart. This motley cast of characters take you on seriously MC adventures. CD Breadner writes her MC's just a little different than some others I've read making them unique in their own right and definitely hard to put down by the reader.

In Expose we bear witness to the meeting of Tank, the Red Rebel VP, and his match Rose, a stripper at the Rebel Circus. These characters are a divergence of two completely different cultures into one solid coupling. Their passion is explosive, their connection even though it wavers is unbreakable. Tank embodies the best kinds of alpha males. He's protective and dangerous to anyone who dare cross him yet with his Rose he's like a giant, dominant teddy bear. Rose's confidence in herself leaks right off the pages, her feelings for Tank visible from the very beginning.

Tank is the man of the book. I'd feel remiss not really highlighting this character. His actions/reactions to the chaos surrounding him, to Rose are perfection. I just loved him.

The plot twists and turns keep you glued to the pages. There was a lull in the story somewhere in the middle for me where the action had ceased and I felt inundated with details but it wasn't enough to deter me from reading the story and loving it. The last 40% or so of the book I literally read straight through unable to stop.

If you love the MC genre as I do, don't pass up CD Breadner's Red Rebels series. I've grown fond of these characters and their plight in the Cali MC world. I hope we get stories about the other brothers in the future.

First off; I loved how we got updated on Gertie and Buck. I wanted them to have their happily-ever-after, and it seems they’ve found it. Needless to say; what happened to them in book one had me worried for their future. I was concerned that too much went-down and that there might be no recovery of what they’d had together. I now think I underestimated how powerful their love was because it’d seem that the obstacles have been worked-through and conquered. It was good to know that Buck still could thrive in the Red Rebels MD after went down in book one. It proves their brotherhood.
Sadly; Jayce and Trinny aren’t back together but I could sure feel their heartaches. I’m hoping they get their own book and at the very least we’ll get updates about them in the next book….

Now to the main event in this book! TANK and ROSE. ROSE struck me as such a lovely and grounded woman; although a woman working in a dance/strip club. She was doing it for the right reasons though and I applaud her for that fortitude. That Tank took notice of her and had actually become quite intrigued with her was so very sweet. It wasn’t ‘insta-love’ either. The heat was quick to ignite for them though; something that really burned HOT once it got going. Together they become a whole, a team. It’s only through some very dangerous and heinous occurrences that they figure out that they need one another. The trip getting to their HEA isn’t one bit easy. Some very bad things do happen………

I really enjoy this MC ‘family’. They give out a very close-nit feeling and that can’t be real easy to convey to the reader. It takes skill to place that in a story in a way that it becomes natural. I’m hoping there will be more books in the series. I want to know about Buck and Gertie’s baby. I want to know if Jayce and Trinny can get back together. I need to know if Tank and Rose get married and have a kid of their own! Also; what about Knuckles? He’s a very strange character but one I’d imagine could be a loving and protective man for the right woman.

Finally; the last two sentences of this book bugged me because there is an ongoing danger to the Red Rebels MC and Rose thinking that there is nothing to keep them apart (not ever) might be a little too naïve in her thinking. The danger is out there and the whole MC group can never be complacent!

I loved this book and when the next book comes out I plan a marathon reading of books one and two before reading what’ll be book three. Excellent job, dear authoress! Thank you.

3.5, but leaning towards 4 stars
Reading the second book the Red Rebel biker series was no chore. I was delighted that the heroine was unique in some ways, but in others, she was amazingly normal for the biker set.

Rose Clairborne is "English" and an exotic dancer, except she didn't reveal lily white skin or stay for long in one place. Suffice to say, Tank, VP of the Red Rebels changes all that, except the skin that is, and not to worry, it is skin that he absolutely loves, the skin color and the woman its on too!

Yet I won't classify this as an interracial romance, because it really isn't. Skin color, though it makes a small entry in dialogue, is not a character here. What's important is that Rose is another heroine who is a contradiction. Oh she's nothing like her predecessor in this series (Gertie, book one), but she is employed in world that invites violence, and then some. However, the first time stuff gets real, she questions whether or not she belongs.

Rose belongs.

She fits in so nicely that it seems too scripted. So, this is why her character is a wonderful thought, but unfortunately underdeveloped. But if the chick on the cover is supposed to be her? Still, magnificent change for a biker heroine! LOL

This still didn't stop me from loving her with her big guy, Trevor "Tank" Williams. Rose and Tank go a hair shy of insta-love, and they go way out when it comes to sexy biker couple. They are the posterboard for "opposites attract", and I had fun when they warmed each other, misunderstood one another, defended their love, and lit each other's fire.

I was a little disappointed to realise this book wasn't carrying on with Buck and Gertie's story, but at 10% in I was so stuck in the story it didn't matter. You do hear from them in this book though. C.D Breadner is fast becoming a new favourite author for me. This book kept me enthralled and entertained all the way through. For those biker fans of you out there, you can say with brutal honesty you will love this book and be wanting more more more. I'm craving the next book badly and can't wait to see who's story is next.

I jumped right in on this one after finishing Indulge (book one).

I have to be honest...I didn't like this one as much. I had a hard time believing the couple. They just all of a sudden seemed to be together and that was that. There was no real build up to them getting to this point so I couldn't really buy it.

I knew and liked Tank from the first book, but Rose was new to me and there was no way to wrap my head around who she was given the brief glimpse set in the Prologue.

I will read book 3, but I won't be jumping in right away.

4 Stars!

This was an awesome read for those of you that like stories about bikers with some grit. I liked both MC's and how they supported each other, their chemistry was palpable and the sexy times were real steamy.

There is a dark element to this story so be prepared for some nail biting moments.

All in all, it was a great read. I look forward to reading more from this series.

Barely a 3 for me, although it wasn't bad. Maybe I've just run out of interest in MC books, partly because I never had that much to begin with. For me loving a book is about the author more than the topic.

The heroine is almost 30, very tall, strong, and British. She's also a stripper with absolutely no back up plan for her life when stripping runs out...and no savings because she sends all her money home so her sick mom can be taken care of. I found some of these things annoying, wouldn't her mom prefer to be in a cheaper place with her daughter close by instead of in a fancy one but unable to see her daughter for close to a decade? Also, she's had a boob job, and I'm not thrilled about that, although I understand why. Lastly, she's considering buying a homes in a tiny town with only one place where she can work...does that sound sensible? Or frankly even possible? She can't be in the US legally, and isn't declaring all her tip income, so how would she get a mortgage, or pay it if her job dried up as she aged?

The hero is gorgeous, huge, terribly sweet and unthinkingly violent. He witnesses murders and participates in bloody battles multiple times. Sure everyone who gets killed is portrayed as unremittingly bad, but that doesn't mean the act of killing should roll off a good man's back so easily. And it sure appears to.

Aside from physical attraction, and doing nice things for each other, it's not clear where the love is springing from between these two. It feels more like they are both at that Grow Up stage in their lives and they like each other enough..so hey let's get inked! It's nice to see a happy couple, but they also seem a bit shallow.

So, anyway..an evenings light reading for me, but I don't think I'll bother with any more of them.

Loved the relationship side of this story, the MC drama was good too but dark, as you would expect.

I’m hoping Rose’s friends will feature in future books.

Another great MC read. I'm loving this author, similar in a way to Susan Fanetti, so if you like her you will no doubt like this series too. Great story telling, author has a good voice. As well as being a fantastic story, there are a couple of things that I love with MC books - a) The MC's respecting their Kuttes and how they put them down, hate it when they just chuck them on the ground and b) respecting their women, and this author gets this right.

I was going to read these books slowly but I'm afraid I can't - gonna have to just get stuck in a read them back to back.

Fantastic read! Loved Tank in Indulge so I was ecstatic to read Expose. The love story was refreshing and different. Loved how the characters weren't cliche-ishly (is that a word?) written. Rose was a stripper but she wasn't skanky. She was in fact lovely, with an accent! The way she was - how her character was written, all the characters really, they were easily all so likable and interesting. Even Knuckles! I can't wait to read his story. (I hope he's next!)
