Always, Forever

Rate this book
Being around Finn Madison is dangerous the same way splitting an atom is dangerous.
In theory? Inadvisable.
In reality? Catastrophic.

In my fantasies, I’m able to erase him entirely, but in real life, he’s impossible to avoid. We’re heirs to the two largest consulting agencies in the country, and we compete for bids regularly and viciously. Is it a nightmare? Yes, but it’s a recurring one, so I’ve learned to cope.

But when a client asks us to collaborate on a project together, our finely drawn battle lines don’t just blur—they’re wiped clear off the map.

Now that we’re colleagues, Finn is everywhere. He’s the press behind my eyelids and the serrated edge against my ribcage. He’s inescapable, and the more I breathe in his air and spin in his orbit, the harder it is to paint him as the villain.

When our feud finally goes too far in a spectacularly public way, the results are disastrous. To continue on the path we’re on is mutually assured destruction, but the alternative is even worse.

Because the alternative is admitting that I’ve never fought with Finn Madison because I hate him.

It’s because I might just be in love with him.

OBSESSED

I absolutely loved Finn and Evie!

Favorite Quote:

“Because I’m crazy about you, Evie. I have always been crazy about you. But I’ll always be Finn Madison, and you’ll always be Everly Vance.”

“What if I wasn’t? What if I wasn’t Everly Vance? What if I was just… yours?”

AHHHHHHHHHHH! Let me tell you the rest of this scene…I was SCREAMING.

The banter was SOLID. The two were so witty and quick with each other. I loved that the banter didn’t change after the decided to not be enemies. They stayed quick with it.

I loved the character development in this book. Evie had a difficult time loving herself. Her parents, who were supposed to show her love, were incredibly self-centered and self-serving. I totally related with her drive to please them in order to feel worth. Both her actions and her inner thoughts were relatable. I loved how her arc changed. As she learned that she can be loved for herself, she was able to stand up for what she wanted and show real love towards others.

Finn is such a sweet hero. I would love to say that he’s perfect. But he’s not. And that is what makes him perfect. He’s grumpy and a little bit of a perfectionist. He’s capable and trustworthy. His love for his brothers drove a lot of his actions. And I love that his love for Evie helped her grow just as much as it did him. It gave him a reason to fight.

The ending and epilogue is also so good. I freaking love it when a book ends just so well. And I love when you see that all the characters are happy. I’m always looking for the best possible ending. And this author delivered!

If you’re still considering whether or not to give this a read, what are you waiting for???

This is the second book I’ve read by Bekah and I officially adore her writing! Her books need to be made into movies. They are so captivating!

This book sucked me in right away. I was CACKLING at the beginning. These two did NOT like each other. The loathing they had for one another was written so well! You really felt the dislike they had.

The book kept surprising me though! I loved all the plot twists. The way they were forced together was different than I’ve seen before & I loved that. Their chemistry really started to shine though in these moments and oh man. You could light a fire with their sparks!

Both of their healing throughout this was beautiful. The way she discovered her worth & how she’s always been enough. 🥹 And just the way they spoke to one another once they got past the barriers. It was precious. They were truly there for one another and willing to stand up for the other.

I can’t wait to read more from Bekah!

After reading Anything, Everything in January, I knew I’d be picking up this ARC for Bekah’s newest read. Reads like this make me appreciate storytellers who embrace romance as more than just a genre, but a way to send a broader message of love and hope. Bekah does this so well, weaving in Gospel themes that show in her character arcs.

These two lil lovebirds have a history that is riddled with misconceptions, hurt, and bickering, lots of bickering. When they take a tumble in the office, their story takes a dramatic turn toward an absurd amount of forced proximity. I was here for it.

Evie and her struggles with self worth made me feel so sad for her. The parenting she grew up with was less than ideal, but I’m glad she had found family in her life that made her feel cherished and loved. She was messy and human and felt real. I appreciated that.

Finn was a flawed man who was SUPER down bad for his girl. He had a sense of duty that was well-intentioned but also detrimental to his own sanity/happiness. Once he showed his true feelings, OH MAN. This dude wouldn’t stop to make sure Evie was protected and cared for. It was all the love, all the time.

The side characters, the banter and Bekah’s humor shined even more in this read. I found myself laughing and smiling at moments of long back-and-forth convos among the characters. Kit, Louise, Reid, and Jase added so much to the read. I want their love stories, too, Bekah!!

You should really pick up this read, friends!! It’s got tons of tension and yearning as well as heartfelt moments. I still have some of Bekah’s backlist to work through, and I’m excited for it!!

Thanks for the ARC, Bekah!! All thoughts are my own. 🤩

CW: This is a clean, closed door romance with kisses only. There’s mention of toxic family, absent parenting, alcoholism & past overdose, and a court case.

Thank you, @bekahoverbey, for the incredible #gifted e-book!

This is the second book I’ve devoured by Bekah, and her storytelling continues to captivate me. She has become one of my favorite indie authors!

From the very first chapters, I was drawn into the complex dynamic between Evie and Finn. The real mutual dislike leaps off the page, yet beneath that tension there is a slowly unfolding story of why.

I loved how these two characters are thrown together in different settings, forcing them to confront their feelings. My heart went out to them, especially since their parents are such insensitive people. The fact that Evie and Finn have grown up with such compassion is truly beautiful. Their eventual emotional reveal was absolutely perfect. I was thrilled to see Evie finally recognizing her self-worth and standing up to her parents and Finn’s father.

The writing is stunning, and the banter is downright delightful. I found myself laughing out loud countless times. The side characters, Evie’s sister, assistant, and Finn’s brothers, are also fantastic, always showing up when needed.

If you love slow-burning romances, enemies to lovers, and intense family dynamics, this book is a must-read. I’ll be eagerly devouring anything Bekah writes next.

Mark your calendars, this book hits shelves on May 1, 2026. Don’t miss out!

Bekah, Bekah, Bekah you’ve done it again! Bekah has such a way of writing a story and drawing you in til you can’t put it down. This is an enemies to more book and when it starts out the main characters truly do NOT like each other. I’m talking true bickering and dislike of each other but not mean in the way that makes me not like reading.

Both Finn and Evie are rivals in two different companies but have to work together for a job. Chaos! Pure chaos. I loved it! Also each of their siblings are hilarious. I could read about obnoxious overprotective siblings all day. Along with all the banter you get these two seemingly strong characters who get to learn about themselves and each other. Each of their parents are awful, like go away I hate you awful but I know you’re necessary to the story so I’ll let you stay. You also get some really fun plot twists throughout the book.

So if you’re looking for plot twist, enemies to more, with all the feels this is your read. I absolutely recommend it!

This book destroyed me (in a good way). You start out thinking you’re in for a silly rom-com, but NO, you’re in for an emotional rollercoaster ride.

Always, Forever is a workplace/corporate rivals closed-door romance with plenty of twists and turns. I loved the enemies-to-lovers aspect, and the banter was amazing.

Evie and Finn have deep stories, and you’re taken along as they grow and learn to stand up for themselves. It ties perfectly into the corporate world they are entwined in.

Finn and his brothers (Jace and Reid) together were the best. They made me laugh throughout the entire story. Then on Evie’s side, there were her sister Kit and assistant Louise. I cherished every moment that the six of them interacted because there was never a dull moment.

I’m not sure how to sum up Always, Forever within a few sentences. It is funny and romantic and thrilling and heartbreaking. It has been my favorite book this year, and easily will sit within my top group of favorites of all time. It’s so very good!

I loved this book so much. Bekah just has this way of writing that feels so fun and effortless while still pulling you all the way in. The mix of real life moments with humor and tension was done so well and I was invested from start to finish.

Evie was such a favorite for me. I loved watching her grow into herself and find the strength to face her insecurities. It felt real and relatable and I was cheering her on the whole time.

And Finn… he was completely irresistible. That competitive tension between them was everything and I ate it up. The banter, the rivalry, the way it slowly turns into something more… it was so good.

The bond between the three brothers made my heart so soft. I loved seeing that connection and how strong it was throughout the story. And that little mention of a character from the previous book was such a sweet bonus.

This one just hit all the right notes for me. Fun, emotional, and full of tension in the best way. I loved it.

Thank you to Bekah for the arc copy of this sweet story, these thoughts are my own!!!

I was hooked on Finn and Evie’s story from the very first page. Always Forever delivers such a compelling enemies-to-lovers dynamic, and the tension between them is delicious.

As their shared history slowly unfolds, the story takes some unexpected turns that kept me completely invested. I loved how layered their backstory was—it added real depth to every interaction.

Finn is utterly irresistible, especially in the quiet, steadfast way he just wants to take care of Evie. And Evie? So relatable in her vulnerability and strength. Both characters come from difficult, even toxic family situations, which makes the love and loyalty they find elsewhere even more meaningful.

The sibling relationships absolutely shine, and the sense of found family brings so much warmth to the story. It’s emotional, engaging, and there’s never a dull moment.

An easy five-star read for me—completely captivating from start to finish.

This was my first read by Bekah & I was captivated by her writing. ✨
She has a way of making you feel like you know the characters and are watching them on your tv screen (This would be a great movie btw). 📺🍿
I couldn’t pick a favorite main character if I tried and I usually have a favorite! They are both just perfectly imperfect! ♥️ 😘
The story took turns that I fully didn’t expect going in & this wasn’t cookie cutter at all. There is real issues with work pressures, toxic parent relationships, & choosing your life path, but with a lot of laugh-out-loud moments woven in as well so that it doesn’t feel too heavy.
Growing up with two brothers and being close to my siblings, I LOVED the sibling relationships in here. So relatable! 😆🥰
The epilogue made me tear-up and that solidified this being a 5 🌟 for me. So good! 🥹🥹🥹 I can’t wait to read more of Bekah’s books!

Thank you to the author for an advanced copy of the e-book! This is my honest review.

Finn and Evie are rivals and now have to figure out how to work together for a job all while their family businesses are in competition with one another. So much is stacked against the two, but somehow sparks are flying.

What I loved:
🏕️ Finn has so many layers
🏕️Evie finds her voice
🏕️The brothers
🏕️Kit is feisty and a bit nutty and I loved her energy
🏕️The fast pace of the book- it was eventful and hard to put down
🏕️The theme of self-worth
🏕️The banter and chemistry between Finn and Evie
🏕️Carlton 🤣

This was my first book by Bekah Overbey and I’m hooked! I knew this book was a winner from the very beginning with the author’s note. I loved the side relationships and the intensity of some of the events that took place. I was not expecting some of the elements that popped up, and I enjoyed what they brought to the story. Be sure to grab this kisses only book to your TBR.

I received a copy. Thank you!

This book had me on a full rollercoaster of emotions from beginning to end in the best ways possible. I absolutely loved the banter between Evie and Finn as they navigated some intense forced proximity. I love any book that includes a moose encounter, but this one had me rolling with laughter!

It is so clear from the very start that Finn is so gone for Evie, even when they’re supposed to be archrivals. I loved the tension and yearning that this inconvenient fact created for them. Both have so much to overcome with the way they are treated by their parents, but Evie especially has an uphill battle that she fights so extremely well.

In addition to the hilarious moments, there were so many deep and introspective ones, too. This story is truly a journey of finding oneself and fighting to be who you’re meant to be.

Without giving anything away, I loved the epilogue and seeing where everyone ended up in their lives. Well worth the journey!

I want to preface this review by saying firstly, I am very picky about romance books. Secondly, I rarely find a “perfect” book, one where there is nothing I can critique. However, Always, Forever is a perfect book. This novel was incredible, and definetly one of my favorite romance novels I have ever read. Not only that, but probably one of my favorite reads this year so far. The characters were absolutely amazing. I loved Evie’s inner circle and how caring and protective they were. Finn’s brothers were a perfect mix of humor and maturity. The romance had my emotions riding a rollercoaster. I was angry they weren’t getting together, then I was happy they did, AND THEN THE EARRING?!! Literal tears. Everything about this book has me in a chokehold. I could go on and on about this book. The enemies to lovers, the yearning, the slow burn, the tension, all of it was pure perfection. Thank you so much to Bekah Overbey for this arc opportunity! I beg you guys to go read this!

Finn Madison and Evie Vance are sworn enemies, business competitors, and now, they’re forced to launch a huge project together. What could possibly go wrong?

When I say I adored this book, I mean I ADORED it. A closed-door romcom that was the perfect mixture of funny, swoony, and emotional. I giggled and cheesy smiled throughout this entire book. I was completely invested in both our main characters. Always, Forever is one of those books where you want to read it as fast as you can because you love it so much, but you also want to slow down and savor it because you don’t want it to end.

Come for the enemies to lovers, but stay for the Saint Bernard.

Thank you, Bekah for an ARC copy of Always, Forever!

Finn and Evie are the cutest. Great chemistry, good tension. The overall plot was a bit chaotic and all over the place, but it works if you don’t analyze it too much. Evie is a bit of a mess. I don’t typically love when FMC’s have “clumsy” as a personality trait, but I also found her endearing and sweet and Finn was absolute perfect, swoony, HE FELL FIRST, gone for her MMC so I ended up really loving them together. Lots of forced proximity, cute moments! My favorite parts were when they were stranded in the woods even though the way they got there feels a bit random and off the plot rails. It was chaotic, but they are so cute together and I was rooting for them! I also love Finn’s brothers so I hope they get a book too!

I was so lucky to receive an ARC of Always, Forever from the author! This was my first time reading Bekah’s work, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 📖✨

The story follows Evie and Finn, two rival consultants from different family-owned companies who are forced to work together on a project. I absolutely loved the banter and the slow burn between these two! The constant scrapes they found themselves in kept me completely hooked. The side characters were also so well-developed—I loved the support they showed the main leads!

If you enjoy star-crossed lovers, rivals-to-lovers, and forced proximity, this book is definitely for you! I’ll be reaching for more of Bekah’s books in the future.

The author’s note made me tear up… but this story was anything but sad.

This is one of those quiet, tender romances built on years of unspoken feelings, soft tension, and the kind of love that never really went away.

He’s protective, steady, and secretly devoted in a way that makes your chest ache.
She’s always felt like she wasn’t enough—and you feel that in every moment.

Their chemistry is soft, sweet, and full of longing.
Such a cozy, blush-and-giggle kind of read.

This is one of my first romcoms… and now I’m officially addicted 🫶 FEVIE FEVER FOREVER!

This was an arc read provided by the author, all thoughts are my own. Thank you for allowing me to read this amazing story 💗

Story time! This author reached out to me personally to read and review her new book, which already made me feel so special. 🥹 I went in thinking it would be a cute, modern romance (which I’m always here for)… but WOW. I was not prepared for how much this would hit. 🤯

I’ve been on a bit of a romance kick lately, but nothing has really stuck with me—until this. I could not put it down. Like… fully consumed. I read this and another one of hers in 4 days, and these are not short books. 📖💀

First of all: the TENSION. Holy. Crap. The yearning??? I genuinely don’t even have the words. It was so well done it almost hurt (in the best way). I actually read “Anything, Everything” before this one, and it had the same vibe—Bekah seriously knows how to write tension. I’m officially invested and will be reading more. 🫠

Also, don’t go into this expecting just a rom-com. Yes, there are funny moments, but there’s also depth—like real depth. It hits on heavy emotions, real-life struggles, and relationships in a way that feels honest and relatable. And the payoff? So worth it. Sometimes we just need a story that reminds us love isn’t easy, but it is worth fighting for. ❤️‍🩹

One more thing I’ve really loved about her books: she includes an author’s note at the beginning that ties into the love of God, and it’s honestly so beautiful. It sets such a meaningful tone going in without it having to actually play a part in the story, and I really appreciated that added layer. 💒

Thank you, Bekah, for trusting me to be part of your team—it truly meant so much. ♥️

This book. THIS BOOK!
First of all, I read Anything, Everything and about died so I KNEW I HAD to read this one and I was NOT disappointed. Enemies to lovers is my jam and I was rooting for these two the entire book. I absolutely did not see the plot twist coming (no spoilers) and then the plot twist after that!

If you want a sweet romance with all the feels, crazy situations and even crazier ways out of those situations, this is the book for you!

This was such a cute and heartwarming story between Finn and Evie. I really liked that we had such an insider look into the families as well. We got to see what made them tick, who they really are, and where they came from.
Corporate rivals Finn and Evie end working together on a campaign for a local children's hospital. The one problem? They hate each other and there seems to be a trail of disasters that follows when they are together. Unfortunate circumstances for them, but well written and excellent reading materials for readers!

This book was perfection ✨ I love the way Bekah pulls you in from the very beginning. I also LOVE having so much of Finn & Evie on page together. Every romance readers dream! 💖
Finn & Evie’s families are rivals and now these two will be forced to work together and spend a few days in a secluded place together. This isn’t just a light care free romance. This story has depth and a lot of hurt within the MC’s. I cannot recommend Bekah’s books enough! I’m so glad I got to read this one early & I cannot wait to have it on my shelf. Thank you, sweet friend!

Bonus quote ✨
“You think I do?” I demand. “Don’t you think that if I knew how not to want you, I’d have done it by now? But I can’t, Evie. You’re everywhere.”

No foul language, no spice.

I loved this book because their love just felt so real and exciting! It was just such a strong love. The descriptions of their love were spot on.
Only thing I didn’t like was
I thought it a little weird the main girls all ended up with the brothers though felt awkward to me
But that’s small it was a good read I suggest you read it. Also it’s no spice as in kisses only.

MCs: Evie and Finn

My thoughts: This was the 2nd book I’ve read by Bekah and it was just as good as the first. This story had so many fun moments as well as some real sitting on the edge of your seat moments. They started as enemies and with forced proximity, the rest was amazingness. I also loved:
-biscuits
-the pond incident
-the mountain incident
-her signature ponytail
-Evie’s sister, Kit
-Finn’s brothers, Jase and Reid

I sure enjoyed this one!

‘Romeo & Juliet’ meets corporate America sans deaths but a whole slew of crazy, yes please?!  This is what I got from the author, Bekah Overbey, when she told me that drafting for this project was going on.  While Bekah doesn’t have a ton of books under her belt, what she has written are golden!  I have said it before and will say it again, the way in which her writing transports you to right in the heart of the worlds of the story is second to none.

Evie (Everly) Vance, heir to Vance Enterprises, big sister to Kit, and lover of biscuits!  This woman has been making a name for herself since she started working for her family’s consulting firm and not all of it is as pretty as her face.  When she finds out that she must collaboration with her major competition for the children’s hospital, she’s only slightly willing to put her pride aside.  While Evie isn’t as cutthroat as her parents, she has a lot to prove and isn’t about to let herself be seen as the “little woman” behind the man, even if he is over a foot taller than her!

Finn Madison, soon to be successor of Madison Innovations, older brother to Jase and Reid, and secret baby cuddler!  This man has a lot to live up to with his father being CEO of the family business, but also as the oldest brother, he’s looked out for his brothers their entire lives.  Life circumstances have evolved this man into being seen as a force to be reckoned with and having to join forces with the one company that has been seen as a threat forever, isn’t ideal.  While working on the project, things go from strictly business to slightly more personal, even if Finn can’t admit it to anyone including himself!

This story can have you laughing, crying and cringing all in a matter of minutes, depending on how fast you read.  It all works out in the end and the cringing isn’t personal, it’s just business.  I loved the dangling carrot of a rooftop moment years ago and when it spills out, boy is it worth it!  Even more than that I think the side characters were outstanding, they all vary in personality but somehow perfectly complement the story as a whole!  I couldn’t love this story more, even if I tried!  Bravo Bekah!

First of all, this book is amazing! Second, the author is seriously the best human being. If you love awesome stories AND supporting indie authors who genuinely deserve ALL the support, then you should pick this one up!

The cover is adorable, Bekah 's writing is wonderful, and the characters are top tier. I laughed so much that I cried and also said "Oh. My. Stars. Awe!" More times than I can count.

Finn and Evie were the absolute best! I loved them both from the very start. I was here for all the beautiful quick witted banter, it was perfect right out of the gate. The side characters were lovable as well and my 'favorite sibling bonds' list grew after this read. My 'characters I want to punch' list also grew a bit, and may have been renamed to the characters I want to "punt out the window" list (thanks for the idea Bekah 😁)

In this story you'll find humor, sweet moments, redemption, forgiveness, and so much more. I was hooked from page one by Bekah's writing and imagery, and every scene that followed the opening just filled my cup that much more.

Always, Forever released on the 1st and I highly recommend this book. And if you're in a binging sort of mood then you should hit her backlog as well.

I received a complimentary advance copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Brilliant!! This book had me smiling within seconds, chuckling soon after, and quickly on to laughing out loud after that. That didn’t change throughout the story, and this story is a wonderful mix of humor, heart, support, and depth.

We meet the enemies-to-lovers couple with great pacing, excellent banter, and an undercurrent of emotions that is just so perfect! The animosity is tangible between them, their chemistry is undeniable, and there are layers to their characters that are quickly established. Best of all, these layers are in the details of what we’re shown—we’re not just told.

I have to add this: chapter 6. Swoon-worthy. Finn is a great MMC!

All of the events and twists and turns just swept me along, and this novel would make a wonderful movie. It’s very easy to relax with this one and get lost in the story.

One last thing, while the story does show unhealthy family relationships, it also shows the amazing bond between siblings and great friends! For me, the book ends on a highly satisfying note, leaving me with a smile when I just think about this novel. Loved it!!
