Having experienced more grief and tragedy than one person should have to bear in one lifetime, Detective Brooke Leighton has decided to leave her hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona. Along with her ex-boyfriend, Nick Evans, they make the trip to the Canadian Rockies where his Pack is located. Nick has promised her answers, and she knows that only he and the Pack can help her through this transition.

The change in scenery isn’t an instant fix, however.

Brooke still struggles with accepting what she’s become: a werewolf. Even more, she struggles with the knowledge that it cost her the life of the man she loved. Brooke lives with constant nightmares of that night, and the only thing that helps ease her suffering is the one who caused her the most seven years ago: Nick. She shares a connection with him that she can’t quite explain; at first, it’s nothing more than familiarity before these feelings of betrayal slowly revert back to love and trust.

As if trying to control her urges isn’t enough, when they arrive at the manor, Brooke is met with more challenges than she originally thought. A jealous female, an aggressive full-blood, and lies make adjusting to this life almost impossible.

When the vampire coven they thought was defeated declares war on the Pack, can they come together as a team to save themselves, or will the secrets Brooke uncovers drive a wedge between her and her newfound family before they even stand a chance?

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***Received the ebook for an honest review

The cover is beautiful and makes me want to pick the book up….all of it fits together perfectly :)

This book is book 2 in the trilogy. It does end in a cliffhanger and book 3 is not out yet, so if this sort of thing bothers you, you may want to hold off on reading until book 3 is out. This series is for adults only due to steamy scenes and violence.

This book is action packed and has plenty of mystery and drama. This book picks up where book 1 ended. I really like this series and can’t wait to read book 3 and see what happens next. Brooke is working through everything that has happened. She is thrown for loop after loop with all of the things happening to her. I definitely feel for her. She is definitely a stronger person than I am with everything that has and is happening. Nick is pretty amazing, but like everyone, he makes quite a few mistakes. I really like all of the new characters especially the Alpha and his family…I wasn’t fond of a her certain female at first…but like fungus, she has grown on me though she is just okay right now.

A.D. does an awesome job with her descriptions where everything jumps out at you. The drama and plot twists make for a great story. I’m betting the next book is going to be even better :) I can’t wait to read it!! While each book is standalone, I recommend reading the books in order because it makes the characters more rich as well as the story.

I recommend this series to wolf shifter fans. I think anyone who enjoys reading about shifters will find something they like in this series :)

5 star read!!!!

This book is an amazing sequel to Blood Moon, and you will be addicted from the very beginning! The book starts off exactly where Blood Moon ended, giving you answers to things you were left hoping for....but still leaving you in suspense. There are twists and surprises at every turn, and you will be scrambling for the third book by the end.

There are so many things I enjoy about this series, but my number one favorite part is Brooke. She is such a strong and amazing character that you find yourself rooting for her at all times. She goes through some hardships in this book, just as we saw her deal with some in Blood Moon as well....but it is the way she overcomes these hardships and still remains an admirable person through it all that draws you in.

Just like the first book, this next part doesn't just throw paranormal in your face and expect you to believe it all. There are struggles that even the characters face in accepting the way of the world, and that makes it much more believable to me. I don't find myself rolling my eyes or scoffing because something "paranormal" is just blindly embraced by characters. Often times Brooke stops to ask herself the same question I think I would address to myself in similar situations, and it just makes it that much easier to empathize with her.

Once I picked this book up I could not put it down. I was reading while cooking, riding in the car on the way to dinner, brushing my teeth...just anything I could do to get a few more pages in. You will not regret picking up this series, paranormal lovers or just suspense romance lovers alike. I cannot wait for book three, and I know you will feel the same!

I never read Blood Moon, but I really didn't have to because I can gather what happened in the first book as I read this one which is really great writing in my opinion.

Brooke has been dealt a really bad hand, the loss of her twin, her lover and being bitten by a wolf. Now the only person that can keep her focused is her ex boyfriend who just up and left her 7 years ago when she needed him most.

Brooke's ex Nick had his reasons for taking off on her, he was also bitten by a wolf 7 years ago and now he has to bear the responsibility of taking care of the woman he has always loved. It won't be easy going for Nick.

Brooke will not give up her humanity and so she has a very hard time with her change and accepting this new way of life.

I enjoyed very much the reality in this story. Instead of just going with the flow and accepting ones fate, the main character fights the reality she has to live now because she just won't give up what she's known all her life. Thus we go through the changes in her life, the pain she must endure while accepting her lot in life.

Will Brooke accept her new way of life and will she allow Nick back into her life after their history and having lost her lover.

Lots of action and suspense, very gripping story.

A.D. Ryan brings an amazing second novel to her Blood Moon trilogy. This installment picks up where the first left off, not missing a step in the adventure ahead. After the challenges and heartache Brooke faced in the first novel, the second shows our lead character learning, growing, adapting, and even enjoying her abilities--all while holding the reader captive until the end.

Ryan continues to show her ability to seamlessly tie together this other world into our own. Recognizing the difficulty of imagining supernatural characters' in our "real world," Ryan does the natural thing by having her characters at times question their own existence. Such attention to detail further develops each character, causing the reader to continue to grow closer to each one.

When I began Wolf Moon, I could tell I wouldn't be able to put it down until I was finished. I am thankful to have read a great, FUN, and entertaining novel! My only complaint is that I finished so quickly, I now have to wait for the third book!

I was fortunate enough to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is the second book in author A.D. Ryan's Blood Moon Trilogy. Wolf Moon picked up where Blood Moon left off. We are reintroduced to Brooke and Nick along with Nick's pack. Secrets are revealed, love has been lost but found again and new friends are made.

This book takes place in the paranormal world. Again, the author makes this world very believable. She writes in a way that blends the Human and paranormal worlds together. The characters are very real. I found myself on an emotional ride where I laughed, cried, yelled and cheered.

Brook is the main character and she has been through a lot and is still a strong, independent, loving, woman who can empathize with you while still kicking the enemies ass!!! Nick is also a main character. He is in love with Brooke. He is a strong man who is not afraid to show his feelings and how much he cares. One can always count on him. His Pack is his family and mean everything to him.

This book was fantastic. I could not put it down. I read it in just a couple of days. I can not wait for the third book in this Trilogy. I will be taking a vacation day from work to read it!!

I was given a copy The Wolf Moon, Book 2 for an honest review. Book 2 picks up where Blood Moon left off. Nick, Brooke and the other wolves from Arizona are headed to Canada to the Pack Leaders place. Marcus is the Pack Leader. It doesn't take long for the vampires to track her. The members of the Pack accept Brooke. Brooke is becoming more and more accepting of her new way of life as a wolf shifter. She is beginning to trust Nick more and more as they spend time together. Nick does not push her and is giving her time to deal with the death of David. The Pack helps her as she works on easily shifting to her wolf. A D Ryan keeps up the action and suspense as you read the book. Why are the vampires after Brooke? Brooke and Nick have a fight and she leaves the compound and is captured by the vampires. In her silver bared cage she sees another wolf shifter in the adjacent cage. When the girl in the next cage turns she knows who she is. Brooke has to find a way to get both of them out of this prison and back to the pack. What do the vampires want with Brooke? Can’t wait to read book 3.

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author A.D.Ryan. This is book 2 of the Blood Moon Trilogy by the author.

Brooke had lost her twin brother a few years ago and now she lost her fiance just a short time ago. Now she is with her ex-fiance Nick going to Canada to learn to accept her new life as a werewolf. Nick has secrets that he is keeping from Brooke that could change the way she is starting to feel about him, again.

This book 2 is exciting that it grabbed me in the first chapter and I just had to keep reading it. The characters and their interaction is super. The author wrote a very smooth flowing story line with this book and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

This is for any paranormal romance book lover who likes mystery and suspense in their stories.

After reading Blood Moon, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. Sometimes you feel let down by an author's decision on how they continue a story - not this time!!! It kept me engrossed until the end. I wanted to read the next book immediately to find out what happens next, but alas- it wasn't written yet! Anyone looking for a well-written, entertaining, steamy, unpredictable trilogy will love these books!

This was my favorite book in the series! It drew me in much more than book 1 and had me really starting to like the characters. Then, as any series should, it left me with a cliffhanger that had me scrambling for book 3!

Nick and Brooke talk more about the events that took place. Surprise visitors for the holidays. And more coven members keep attacking.
