Morgan Saunders was horribly afraid of flying. Likewise, she desperately needed a vacation. She decided to handle both her problems by drinking. Inside the plane, she took a death grip on the plane’s armrests, closed her eyes and prayed she wouldn’t die.
Jason Falco had watched her since he had spotted her in the airport lounge. He had even given up his first class seat to be near her. To get her mind off her obvious fear of flying, he started up a conversation, but he ended up making love to her -- all the way to Martinique.
Their holiday was beyond wonderful. Morgan fell in love, and she was certain he felt the same way. But back home, they found something waiting for them that threatened to tear them apart.
Morgan couldn’t allow that to happen. She had to remind him of the love they had shared on the island. She decided to seduce him, but it was hard to do when he refused to see her.
Fayrene Preston was born in Texas, USA where she raised. Her high school years were straight out of the movie American Graffiti — good friends and that wonderful rock ‘n' roll. After high school, Fayrene attended college and earned an Associate degree in Business Administration.
Almost immediately afterward the university, she married a Navy man and for the next five years they traveled back and forth across America several times and lived on both coasts. Although the marriage didn't last, she was blessed with two completely wonderful sons, both grown now, and the most beautiful little granddaughter you've ever seen in your life!
She counts herself as very lucky. Books have always been an important part of her life, and now she gets to make her living by writing them. She can't think of anything to make one happier. She published her debut novel as Jaelyn Conlee in 1982, now continued writing as Fayrene Preston.
"The Seduction of Jason" is the story of Morgan and Jason. When Morgan is on the way to take a much needed vacation in Martinique, and when she deadly afraid of flying, she meets the enigmatic stranger Jason on flight and the attraction is instantaneous. They spend the time finding heaven in each other's arms, only to return to reality when finally at home Jason discovers Morgan's deception, involving his brother David. The book then revolves around Morgan fighting for her love and trying to get Jason back.. If you like a heroine in pursuit, this book is for you. The characters were likable and passionate, and I loved the fighting spirit of the heroine. Also loved the relationship between the three wayward friends. Cant wait to read about Sami and Jerome. Safe 3.5/5
The Seduction of Jason by Fayrene Preston is a fun romance released by Loveswept in 1983 and is charmingly reflective of that era. Morgan Saunders meets Jason Falco on the plane to Martinique where they’re both headed for some tropical sun. Both are swept away by their passionate connection, but a misunderstanding complicates matters.
An interesting mix of more modern sensibilities and the more traditional mores and expectations of that time period…. In other words, sometimes delightfully old school…
