I have really enjoyed all of the books in this series. They're short and easy to read in one sitting but the author still manages to pull you into the characters and hold your interest. Each time I finish one I'm immediately looking forward to the next one. Usually three way committed relationships are a little unrealistic to me but I could really see the love and commitment between Annie, Easy and Michigan in [book:Their Fierce Love|23847142}. This book picks up where Fierce Love ended and we see Easy and Michigan wanting to pay Annie's father back for his beating and mistreatment of her. Of course the club is drawn in and the plot thickens. The threesome find they are going to be parents and the author really brings realistic barriers to such a pregnancy out in the book. I highly recommend this book if you want to read a really well written romance about a three way committed relationship. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series.
Another continuation of the trio. Psycho Dad is let off jail after what happened in the previous book and suddenly long lost Mom returns. She turns out to be sneaky, slutty and she's hitting on your men. Annie has to show that she's made of stronger stuff and she'll do anything to make sure the three of them stay together.
I guess this may be a wrap up of sorts to their story. Sometimes it's nice to just read these kind of stories in small helpings as opposed to one long 400-page drama. If you like small doses of MC romance with not too much drama and just enough heat, you might want to give this a try.
Not much happened in Their Lasting Claim, I still liked it but I wasn't blown away. Also, I'm kind of sad these stories are focused solely on main characters (with the exception of a few appearances of characters from previous books) and that's it. There's not much to know about other Death Lords' members and their day-to-day MC business.
Read 12/30/17 Re-read 7/7/18 Re-read 2/11/2020 Fantastic series! Love Easy, Michigan and Annie's story, third time reading it and its still a good as the first two times. re-read 7/28/2022
This was another great book about the only 3 people in a relationship together that I LOVE. I dont know what it is, but Ella Goode, makes me love them. I have tried other books like this and it just doesn't work for me. I wish it could have been longer but either way. Great book and cant wait to read more.
I really enjoy this series by Ella Goode, especially the on-going story of Michigan (sigh!), Easy, and Annie. It's also great that the overall series that Ella Goode, Ruby Dixon, and Kati Wilde do comes out with a book or two per month that we can count on. Woo! Hoo! I get them for the .99 price, but they're free with Kindle Unlimited. If more authors do something like this series with a book or two a month, I'd be all for Kindle Unlimited, that's for sure.
In this book, Annie's dad (Pastor Bloom) gets out on bail, and her mom returns to town after taking off when Annie was a child. Of course, trouble ensues! And Michigan and Easy are there to solve it. We see a bit of Wrecker, Judge, and Pippa in this one, and there's one MC church scene to introduce us to a few more of the Death Lords MC guys. Since Annie is now working for Judge (the Death Lords prez) in his car shop, I'm hoping we get to see even more of the MC in upcoming books.
For the continuing story of Annie, Michigan, and Easy, this is a 4.5 for me - I always round up, so that's a 5. The books in this series are quick reads, the kind you can pick up after a day at work and get done in time for a reasonable bedtime - that's why I like these quick reads. They balance out with the longer ones I also read a few times per week.
Thanks for reading!
(and thanks to the author for a review copy - as always, my opinion is based on reading the book and nothing else)
Their Lasting Claim, was everything I wanted and more! From the minute I read their story, Annie, Easy, and Michigan held a special place in my heart. They were just the perfect combo of personalities and needs. I totally bought their relationship, and I wanted to see them happy and Annie free. Held down by the life her small town and her Pastor father forced onto her, she was barely living. This time around I watched the three of them blossom, and maneuver a serious road block in the shape of Annie’s long absent mother. When the blonde rolls into town and starts trying to make a move on Michigan and Easy, I saw red. I won’t let out all the secrets, but it’s a fulfilling ride with action, romances, redemption, and smoking hot scenes between the sheets and various other places. * winks

Once again i sat and read the whole book without moving. I just love this whole series. Can't wait to see what is next for these 3 amazing people and their little one. Along with the whole Death Lords, it will surely be a great ride. Congrats Ella!
I am loving this series! It just keeps getting better & better!!!!! This is a continuation of Annie, Michigan, & Easy's story & they get some unexpected news as well as an unwanted visitor, but together they can get through anything.
Their Lasting Claim and the third book is the story of Easy, Michigan, and Annie. Again.
Anyway her mum shows up and tries to seduce her men and manipulate her into getting what she wants and Easy and Michigan kill her father for what he did to her. And she’s preggers. Yay.
Review for Their Lasting Claim (The Death Lords MC) by Ella Goode
If you haven’t read the previous books in the The Death Lords MC series there may be some spoilers in this review.
Their Lasting Claim picks up where Michigan, Easy, and Annie left off in their whirlwind romance… er claiming? I fell in love with Annie the very first time she was introduced to the series. Her life was so controlled by her father and the ‘church’ that she hadn’t even really LIVED yet. When she met Michigan and Easy, she only had lustful imaginings of what it could be like to be theirs.
Easy and Michigan are two of the hottest biker BBFS I’ve read to date. They perfectly balance each other and they worship Annie in a way that all women desire. (Well, the kinky ones.) When I read the synopsis I screeched and did a little book whore dance …
“And baby makes … four?”
HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS OVARY EXPLOSION!! Two men to pamper and care for a pregnant Annie? To keep her loved and cherished. I mean. YES YES YES!! I thought for sure the story would be completely wrapped around the drama of the three of them dealing with an unexpected pregnancy, but there is so much more happening. As always, Ella Goode creates the feel of a full length story within the pages of a novella. I’m never disappointed with these books and wait with baited breath for the next.
Now this wouldn’t be an MaBW review if I didn’t touch on the smut factor… holy freaking hotness. Seriously, the M/F/M dynamic is enough to have your panties ripping themselves off your body… after drenching them, of course.
“Ahh, sweet girl. Your cunt is so hungry for us. It’s milking my hand like it hasn’t had cock in days.”
Their Lasting Claim is like the cherry on top of the Death Lords MC series and a must read for any and all MC smut lovers looking for a quick, sexy read that doesn’t lack in the story department. Five Stars and Five drenched panties for this certified Mommy’s a Book Whore must read now!!
The story of Annie, Easy, and Michigan continues in Their Lasting Claim. Annie turns up pregnant which the boys are thrilled about, but she’s uncertain.. As she’s battling with Easy and Michigan’s OTT protectiveness since they want to wrap her up in bubble wrap to keep her safe and healthy while she’s carrying her baby, her mother shows up. Unfortunately, as much as Annie wants her to be, her mother is not nice…..at all. All this is going on while Annie needs to come to terms with her Dad being released on bail, and what the repercussions to his actions will be. Through all this we get to see Annie really come into her own.
Annie is supposed to start her new job with Judge so we get to see him. What little we saw made me smile though. There is no MC stuff going on besides Annie’s business which was disappointing. I got over myself though because it’s a series of novellas and they can only pack so much stuff into a short little book. I’m still liking this little series, and overall I still like the entire Motorcycle Clubs concept so I get a little thrill when I see a new one has arrived for me to review.
Plot: A There was a lot going on with this book. There were a few plot lines that needed to be resolved from previous stories. Annie's father, The reappearance of her mother, her pregnancy and what it means. I had a few questions about Michigan's past, but it wasn't too important. And I kind of wonder what they initially had planned for Annie's mother before the final resolution, because it didn't happen, and I don't recall it being spelled out. Characters: B+ I loved Michigan and Easy's characters. How they weren't afraid to get sh-t done, but were so loving and protective of Annie. Annie somewhat annoyed me with her neediness for her mother. And I hated that she shut Michigan and Easy out, even if it was for a couple of minutes. But she eventually got her sh-t together, and did the right thing in all situations. I did wonder why Michigan and Easy kept Mrs. Bloom's behavior from her, but it wasn't a big deal, because it all turned out. Heat: A- The heat factor was blazing. Very descriptive and plentiful scenes that will melt your ereader. I mean come on, it's mfm, and done oh so right!
In this installment we find Annie, Easy and Michigan getting unexpected news that has all of them floored for a moment. Annie freaks out and Easy and Michigan are there to calm her down and get her to realize that it is good news and not anything to feel ashamed or worried about. We find out throughout the book that Pastor Bloom (Annie's father) is out on bail after beating her to within an inch of her life after he found out about her relationship with Easy and Michigan. Easy and Michigan are not going to let his beating stand and seek the Club's okay to take him out. Annie gets a surprise when her long lost mother appears and tries to make Annie feel small and worthless. Easy and Michigan do not take kindly to her mother and let her know that they stand by Annie and don't care what her mother has to say. The woman was shameless in her pursuit of any man to take care of her and Annie realizes that she was better off without her mom. Easy, Michigan and Annie find themselves on the same page and looking forward to the future at the end of this installment. They let Annie know she is most important in their lives and show it through words and actions.
I just love these fast paced and very sexy MC short books...I read this one out of order but now that I have met the players, I want to go back and read the first few books to see how everyone first got together! Bad parenting made me so angry with this one...a nasty piece of work for an absent mother and a vicious "man of God" (debatable) for an abusive father...both of whom caused emotional and physical damage to their daughter Annie. Good thing she has her two protective bikers to keep her safe and now that she is (surprise!) carrying their baby, it made for an even more intense story of love and committment in the face of possible blowback to the club for making sure their futures will always be secure and safe. I really liked this one and look forward to reading more from Ella Goode! I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
It’s seldom I give a novella more than 3 stars and honestly I want to give this 5 stars because for a short hot sweet story this one packs a whole lot of story into it. I’ve DNF’d too many stories that forget to make the characters human, showing no respect to the woman they are supposed to adore, and putting it all down to “protective Alpha” I call bull on that because here we have a story about two über alpha MC enforcers who treat their woman with the utmost respect in bed and out. Are they over protective? Hell yes, but not once did they force her hand or take away her choice, if anything they turn to mush around her and there is nothing I love more than a big alpha man totally undone by his little love...well except two of them.
So this book took an unexpected twist I wasn’t expecting to see! A few of them actually and I LOVED IT. Easy, Michigan and Annie are still living together and she has healed from the wounds her father has inflicted on her.
They turn up the heat right off the bat, and WOW, I think I even saw my Kindle smoke a little. When Annie’s mom shows up there are even more unexpected moments. Where has she been? What is her motive? Will she keep hitting on the guys?
This can be read standalone, but seriously, the whole series is so good you should read them all!!
Received copy from author for a honest review. Third book with Easy, Annie and Michigan. Really enjoyed. Story is fast paced, holds your attention, entertaining and hot. You find Easy, Annie and Michigan happily anticipating parenthood but have a few glitches along the way. With an appearance from Annie's greedy mother and the guys have to deal with Annie's abusive dad. For sure, Annie's parents will never win a parent of the year award and get what is due to them. I continue to love the commitment, love and chemistry this trio has between them and their determination to make their relationship work. Would recommend this book and series. Can't wait for more for this author.
Third volume for Annie/Easy/Michigan. I enjoy their story and the scenes with just them are well done, sexy and fun. The drama with the sudden appearance of Annie's mother is somewhat ridiculous and comically tragic. I was glad to see a bit more of the MC business come back into the story. This novella is supposed to conclude the main story for A/E/M but I hope that will be reconsidered because there seems to be a lot more to tell. 3.5 stars. This series is total escapism fun, a favorite for a fast, entertaining read. *ARC kindly provided by the author.
With each book it gets so much better. I love that we get to see what the future holds for these three and hope to get more of their future. I love Annie,Easy and Michigan they are so perfect for each other and she was made for them and now adding a baby to the mix is perfect. Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to read this story first....
