The sex is still off the charts, but if that’s all Levi wants, Kate will have to learn to deal with it…somehow.

A very sweet story ahead, including cheesy quotes about love, candy and chocolate, a town that overdoes everything including construction paper hearts on Valentine’s Day and two people who are crazy in love—with each other and with this quirky town.

This is a novella, about half the length of the novels in this series. Read only if you like fun, small town contemporary romances where they talk dirty and act even dirtier.

From the first book in Erin Nicholas' Sapphire Falls series; I was in love with this town so I was more than pleased when she announced she'd decided to continue the series. Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a fan of serials but I'm perfectly okay with this set of novellas she's producing for Kate and Levi as they navigate the waters of a long distance relationship. Why you ask? Because each one of these books leaves this couple in a good place; no one is clinging to live, the relationship is not in peril, and the reader knows these two are headed for long term they just have to figure it all out before they get there.

Returning unannounced and unexpected to Sapphire Falls to surprise Levi for Valentine's Day, Kate realizes she misses this special town more than she ever thought possible and he misses Levi even more. So much more that she's made some big decisions she plans to share with him over this special weekend. What she doesn't expect is to find Levi selling himself in a bachelor auction or hiding things about his life in Sapphire Falls from her. Meanwhile Levi is trying to let his love for his new life in Sapphire Falls not show because what he really wants is for Kate to ask him to move to be with her.

I just simply couldn't love these two anymore because they both want the same thing and they both are so afraid the other might not want it. Yes I'll admit I was screaming at my screen, "just talk it out" but alas they didn't listen to me and what ensues is in part comical (because this author never ceases to make me giggle) and sexy because this author always offers up some spectacular sexy times even if those times include...wait for it...broccoli and ranch dip. The thing is Getting In the Mood is as sweet as it is sexy and it is a perfect treat for Valentine's day weekend. I dare you not to fall in love with the gang from Sapphire Falls; I simply don't think it's possible not to love each and every one of them.

Incredible! This is a funny sexy read that was completely entertaining. I'm not sure I will ever look at broccoli the same. After doing the long distance thing for the last month, Kate has decided it's time for her to move to Sapphire Falls to be closer to Levi and see where this thing with them is really going. She decides to surprise him on Valentine's day and arrives to find him in the bachelors charity auction with Hailey leading the bidding. Looks like trouble is ahead! I definitely recommend this one.

Moving Too Fast?


This series must be read in order. The first book is Getting Out of Hand. The second book is Getting Worked Up. The third book is Getting Dirty. The fourth book is Getting In the Spirit. This is the fifth book.

Levi wants Kate to ask him to move to San Francisco to be with her... Only he wants it to be HER idea. So he sets out to keep her from seeing his love for Sapphire Falls ... Only Levi would think this could work! Will his plan be successful? Or will it blow up in his face?

Kate loves Levi and Sapphire Falls so much that she has quit her job and is about to let her lease end in San Francisco just so she can live in the town that stole her heart with the man who stole it more completely... The only problem is she can never find the proper time to spill her guts! Why is Levi trying to make her hate Sapphire Falls? Does he not want her here?

A true comedy of errors that keeps you guessing what will happen next! Nicholas just keeps getting better and better the more she writes! I can't wait for the next book in this series!!! Heck I can't wait for whatever she writes next! I am a proud addict to her stellar writing hehe :)

***This series is suitable for adult readers who are fond of small town romances of epic proportions that contain incredibly inventive plot centric steamier than steamy sex scenes :)

This one pretty takes place right after the previous one (Getting in the Spirit) ended. Kate is ready to tell Levi she's going to move to Sapphire falls but when she goes to tell him as a surprise she finds out he's in a bachelor auction and all these women are bidding on him! So you can only imagine the hijinks that will ensue there.

More confusion and then the two people they were supposed to be set up with in the previous book are involved, it's quite the ordeal, but of course love conquers all (and so does some hot sex) and Levi and Kate get their HEA, but instead of at Christmas, it happened at Valentines. :)

Levi was so funny in the way he was trying to convince Kate to ask him to move to California. Kate had her own plans and kept them to herself. The beginning of the book is funny and of course hearing about Tucker Bennett was a hoot. Tucker helps Kate out later in the book and than decides that he will help her and be honest with her if Levi won't. Levi's thinking is kind of backwards, but he means well. Another good book and I can't wait to see what happens next with Kate and Levi.

I love it when Erin Nicholas gives her readers books like this! Short, sweet and nothing but sexy goodness!! Getting In The Mood is the continuation of Levi and Kate’s story. This time, it’s Valentine’s Day in Sapphire Falls. Kate plans to surprise Levi in his little hometown for a Valentine’s Day he won’t soon forget. He thinks she is going to DC, little does he know she is planning on paying him a visit…not just for one day, but forever. Kate finally decides that Sapphire Falls is where she wants to be. So she gave up her job and her apartment and she just have to work up the nerve to tell Levi that even though it’s only been a few short weeks, she wants to be wherever he is. Levi has decided that he is moving to Kate’s home in California. Unfortunately, he knows Kate would never ask him to be with her there because she knows how happy he is in Sapphire Falls. So he sets out to make her believe that Sapphire Falls has nothing to offer. Fortunately for him, no amount of bad oatmeal, bad coffee or gross insects can scare her off.

If you thought that Getting In The Spirit (Kate and Levi’s first story) was hot, let me recommend that you buy this book! These two have a chemistry that is unlike any other. Whenever they are within 10 feet of each other there are fireworks! And let me tell you, Levi Spencer has a way of making ALL food sexy!

You’ll get sappy romance, sweet hometown fun, HOT-outside-a-bar fun, truck rocking, fun in a sled, unbelievable sexiness with food and some glimpses at Tucker(from the next book, Getting It All) in this one! 

This sequel story to Getting In The Spirit features Levi and Kate, eight weeks after they met in Sapphire Falls over Christmas and getting ready for Valentine's Day. Kate has returned to Sapphire Falls to surprise Levi for the holiday. Levi has bought a house and is settling in but doesn't want Kate to know how comfortable he is getting in Sapphire Falls as he wants to be with her and fully expects her to want to live in San Francisco. A comedy of errors ensues as Levi and Kate learn that no matter where they end up, home is where the heart is.

This was a delightful continuation of Levi and Kate's romance! The whole town is out in full force, charming, engaging secondary characters that add to the small town feel and the humorous situations that Kate and Levi find themselves in. Lots of laughter and some sexy situations ensue, exactly what I've come to expect from this author. I liked how Kate and Levi aren't perfect and are willing to own up to that, including how they need to learn to communicate with each other better in order to make their romance work. Sexual attraction will only get you so far and it's the other stuff that will make a relationship go the distance. There are some intriguing snippets of other characters that you know will end up starring in their own stories, and I can't wait to see more of this charming small town and its eclectic folk. 5 stars for a sweet and sexy story.

"Getting in the Mood" is a novella written by Erin Nicholas, and it is part of her Sapphire Falls series. It features Levi Spencer and Kate Leggot.

When Erin announced late last year that she was doing a follow-up to Levi and Kate's story, I couldn't have been happier! They were such a hot, enjoyable, and fun couple in "Getting in the Spirit", and they definitely weren't any different in this novella.

"Getting in the Mood" fast forwards a couple of weeks. Levi and Kate love each other. Levi loves the small town of Sapphire Falls, but he loves Kate more. He would go anywhere Kate goes, and if that means San Francisco where she works, so be it. Meanwhile, Kate wants to be with Levi. She plans to move to Sapphire Falls to be nearer to him and her friends.

We get to see a lot of the gang we've grown to love from this series, and of course, it wouldn't be complete without Tucker trying to woo Kate much to Levi's disapproval. Levi definitely shows his alpha side whenever Tucker does this which is just hilarious! What stood out for me was the auction scene as well as when Levi and Kate go to the diner. How can Levi deprive Kate of the most amazing fried green tomatoes?

Once again, wonderful job by Erin! She never lets readers down! Can't wait for Tucker's story!

Getting in the Mood is the newest addition to the Sapphire Falls Series and the nest installment of the romance between Levi and Kate who we first met in the novella Getting In The Spirit.
I was so excited that Erin decided to re-visit Kate and Levi who came together and fell in love with each other and like many of Erin's readers have quickly fallen in love with the town and people of Sapphire Falls.
Kate has decided to surprise Levi by coming to town for Valentines Day when he thought she would be unable to. Levi has moved to town and is trying to fit in. He spends his mornings with the older guys at Dottie's Cafe and has even bought himself a big truck. However he has realized that Sapphire Falls isn't what he needs most in life and that is Kate. But her life is in California, so as the book progresses he tries to get her to not like Sapphire Falls.
I adore these two and I love being able to slowly see their love progress and build. The combination of Kate and Sapphire Falls makes Levi a better person and Levi makes Kate's life so much better. Add in the fact that somehow along the way Erin thinks up a way to make Broccoli Sexy..... You heard me right Broccoli!!

We first met Kate and Levi in Getting in the Spirit. That novella should be read first, before reading this one.

I love Kate and Levi! They have such great chemistry together. We get another glimpse into their lives for Valentine's Day in Sapphire Falls. You get to see how they are doing in their relationship since falling for each other eight weeks ago. You also get to see more of Tucker Bennett and more of Tucker is always a good thing!

Here are some of my favorite quotes/scenes.

The gazebo was lit with white and pink twinkle lights and there were pieces of poster board attached to the inside walls where Sapphire Falls residents had written their own messages of everlasting love.

His heart sped up with that thought, but it felt warm at the same time. A family. That was what he wanted. And what he wanted to give to Kate--a family that would be there for both of them, that would be solid and secure, that would be normal.

"Broccoli?' she asked with a laugh. "I'm not sure even you can make broccoli sexy." One corner of his mouth curled up. "Challenge accepted"

This is a great follow-up to the novella Getting in the Spirit!

What would you do if you quit your job to be with your boyfriend only to see him being auctioned as a Bachelor as soon as you hit town? Then you start learning he has been keeping secrets from you? Especially when you fall in love over the course of 4 days during Christmas. This is a story about a failure to communicate, misunderstandings, sexy food scenes & finding out that you really are meant for one another.

It's Valentine’s Day, Kate shows up unexpectedly to surprise Levi. Only to find him being auctioned off as a Bachelor. Kate is ready to move to Sapphire Falls & become a part of the town but it doesn't appear that Levi is ready for that. Levi thinks Kate wants to stay in San Francisco so he doesn't want her to know a how much he loves it in Sapphire Falls because then she will never ask him to move. He's found the ring and ready to take the next step. What happens may surprise you!

This is the continued story of Kate and Levi. Levi loves his new life in Sapphire Falls but he loves Kate more. He wants to be with her but thinks she won't ask him to move to San Francisco where she lives. Kate is ready to move to Sapphire Falls but Levi is acting strange. It's almost like he doesn't want her to think he loves living in Sapphire Falls. Can these two get it together and start communicating outside the bedroom?

These two are setting the sheets on fire and the couch and the counter and so on. I'll never look at ranch dressing the same or broccoli for that matter. The one thing they lack is communication. Thank God for Tucker Bennett. He's got a way of putting the truth out there. Sexy man! This is another fantastic and sexy story from that amazing series called Sapphire Falls. I can't wait for my next visit.

This is the third book for Levi and Kate. They met at Christmas, were together for New Years, now it is Valentine's Day. Kate was suppose to be working in D.C. over Valentine's Day leaving Levi in Sapphire Falls. Instead, she quits her job, cancels her lease and flies to Sapphire Falls to surprise Levi. She doesn't tell him that she wants to move to Sapphire Falls and he doesn't tell her that he wants her to ask him to move to San Francisco.

The sex is off the charts, the communication between these two needs some help. They both feel they haven't been together long enough to let the other know what they truly want. So Levi pretends he doesn't like Sapphire Falls - which of course backfires. As with all HEA they finally have the conversation as to what each want - each other - daily. There are three novels with Kate and Levi's story. Sapphire Falls has two new residents.

What a fun continuation in Levi and Kate's story! They are so sweet together and perfect and combustible. They were so willing to give up their personal choice for the sake of the other. I loved how even though they have only known each other a short period of time, they knew they were supposed to be together. It may be a little fast for some,but when you know, you just know. My parents met and married within 12 weeks and had a long marriage. So I know it does happen no matter how farfetched.

I cannot wait for Tucker's story. He almost stole the show for me. Looking forward go whatever cobbler comes his way. ;D

But in this book one will have to settle for healthy eating.

I've fallen in love even more with Levi and Kate after reading Getting in the Mood. Erin Nicholas never fails to deliver a sexy, fun loving romance and she even managed to use broccoli in a sex scene...it was brilliantly written and had me chuckling. I really enjoyed how their relationship picked up from when we saw them last and the sparks continued. The author sure knows how to ramp up the sex scenes and I might not be able to look at some food the same way again. LOL! I loved visiting Sapphire Falls again, visiting with the other characters again and seeing the length Levi and Kate would go to in order to be together, misunderstanding and all which provided for some fun moments. Another winner by one of my favorite authors and I cannot wait for more stories from this small town.

I just love my visits to Sapphire Falls. This novella will not disappoint you, Kate has returned to Sapphire Falls to surprise Levi for Valentine's Day. This is a sweet but sexy read, that will want you to move to Sapphire Falls.

When Kate returns to Sapphire Falls, she finds Levi in a Bachelor's Auction, oh the bidding is so much fun. They are such a fun couple from the bedroom, to the kitchen, in the car and just having fun in the snow. With a few misunderstandings, can they figure out their future together.

I just love how Erin writes food into all of her books, who knew how much fun broccoli could be, I get the chocolate though. I highly recommend this book for a fun read, but fair warning you will want to return to Sapphire Falls too.

I had heard about the quirky little town called Sapphire Falls, so my curiosity led me to read Erin Nicholas' Getting in the Mood. This particular installment of the series is centered around Valentine's Day! Wealthy, Levi Spencer lives in Sapphire Falls, Nebraska while his latest love interest lives in San Francisco, CA. A mix-up led to Levi and Kate meeting at Christmas time and they started a long distance relationship. So the big question is, will what they've had for 8 weeks actually last? This book has it all: fun characters, a likable small town, a smoking hot romance, and that big question to answer. Will either Levi or Kate be willing to relocate? You'll enjoy reading Nicholas' book to see if they'll get their HEA! You'll want to read it in one sitting like I did!

Levi has a choice stay in Vegas and get and early grave or slow down in life. He chose to go see his brother in Sapphire Falls. He promised himself a year to make his life right. Kate is an amazing woman. She has a choice also, follow her heart or stay miserable. She surprises Levi in Sapphire Falls. They have an amazing time together. Levi shows Kate around town and they have some super steamy sessions. They get to the Cupidcrazy dance and some things are misunderstood and Kate wants to go home. Will Levi let her know what the truth is or will he let her go home without him? This is such a cute story I can't wait for more.

Ah! Levi and Kate are back in this super sexy novella. It's Valentine's Day and Kate has to work, or so she thought. She shows up in Sapphire Falls to surprise Levi in more ways than one. This novella is super hot and it was so much fun watching the progression of Kate and Levi's relationship. They fell fast and hard and still aren't quite sure of themselves. Kate wants to move to Sapphire Falls while Levi is content to live with Kate in California. Each trying to please the other leads to a comedy of errors. The book is a fun ride on a curvy back road. I can't wait to see where their journey leads.

I adore Levi and Kate (returning from the Sapphire Falls Novella Getting in the Spirit) and this novella is no exception. Kate is contemplating moving to Sapphire Falls to be with Levi...but is it too quick? Levi wants to be with Kate but thinks Kate loves San Fran so much that she'll never leave...so he needs her to think he doesn't love Sapphire Falls. Can they get it together to realize that they both want to be together and the where of it isn't as important? Find out when you read Erin Nicholas' Getting in the Mood!

Kate and Levi are back and they've brought more food!

In between a series of miscues and miscommunications, there is plenty of romance and toe curling sex scenes They've had a whirlwind romance that is completely believable.

Levi is trying so hard to fit into Sapphire Falls and his efforts only add to his sexiness. And who doesn't love Kate? Kate is more than a pretty face. She's got a brain that she's not afraid to use and not ashamed of.

At the end of this novel, I found myself left saying two things: 1)I hope there's another story for this pair and the horizon and 2) I'm suddenly in mood for broccoli!

I purchased Getting In the Mood as part of an anthology.

Levi has settled in Sapphire Fall, Nebraska and found a place to belong while seeing Kate regularly in both San Francisco and Washington DC. Kate makes a surprise visit for Valentine's Day celebrations in Sapphire Falls and begins to question her recent decisions to move to Nebraska with Levi.

Total miscommunication leads to a showdown instigated when Kate has a conversation about muffins, oatmeal and snakes with one of the local men. Is eight weeks enough time to fall in love and completely change her life??? Reading Getting In the Mood will give you the answer to how Kate and Levi find a solution or not?
