Spill

Rate this book
Features stunning aerial photographs of the Deep-water Horizon Gulf oil spill. The full scale of the disaster is revealed in these photographs where the human presence takes the form of tiny toy-like helicopters and ships. Only the billowing smoke from a great fire signals the true destruction caused.

It's great. I have a copy for my office and turn the pages every few days for a change of scenery. Truly amazing work I was first exposed to on the album covers Dan shot for the Anjunadeep annual albums.
The interviews he's done on the spill series are great too. I'd love to see this in person if I ever get the chance.

This is not a book you can READ but I'm adding it because the photographs are so beautiful. Found it in the coal and ice exhibition at the Kennedy Center.
