J’ai trouvé ce 5e tome plus happant que le 4e. Déjà nous avons droit à pas mal d’actions et de rebondissements.

La fiancée du frère aîné de Yakô, Shinobu, est une véritable vipère. Une odieuse personne qui se croit au-dessus de tout et de tout le monde. Étant la cible d’Ayakashi, Yakô se doit de la protéger 24h/24h. Nanao va découvrir le sentiment de jalousie, et j’ai aimé la voir s’affirmer autant. Elle commence enfin à hausser le ton quand il le faut. De plus, elle n’hésite pas à dire à Yakô ce qui la tracasse, preuve qu’elle lui fait de plus en plus confiance.

Shinobu (l’ex-fiancée de Yakô) fait tout pour récupérer Yakô, et pour cela elle n’hésite pas à mettre en place des stratagèmes extrêmes. Et c’est Nanao qui en paie les frais.

Oui, vraiment, il s’en passe des choses ici. Je n’ai pas su lâcher le manga avant de l’avoir terminé et que dire de la fin ? Un cliffhanger de dingue et j’espère vraiment que Yâko trucidera Shinobu. Cette fille est un Ayakashi déguisé, ce n’est pas possible autrement.

Vivement la suite pour savoir ce qu’il va se passer.

Another fantastic volume. omg i am ready for more demon hunting!! but also waiting is killer when it ended like that!

I am just loving Nanao's development so much. I hope we get to see more intimacy between the couple as time goes on too without people getting in the way. i love when they make people jealous and get jealous themselves though.

The artwork for the psycho women really gets the point across. Shinobu is far too extreme - no matter how much her father dotes on her, it’s hard to imagine he would let her be this out of control, particularly if everybody is laughing at her. Although I did find that part a little bit unrealistic, since they’re all sucking up to her right before that. But all her antics definitely reflect poorly on their family. The previous volume made it sound as if the clans are at the disposal of the nobility, but here they reversed that. It sounds like there is a real fear of Yako taking offense and his clan getting angry. That would make more sense from a realistic point of view. It mentions that her father is the biggest donor to their organization, when really everyone should be required to support the organization that keeps them safe.

I wonder what the story behind her assistant is. Besides the fact that he is clearly the mastermind of all the problems that’s been happening… unless this was the plan that Yako’s mother alluded to.…? It would nicely get rid of both girls. I guess it’s a good thing the orangutan finally appeared so that it can be killed and her mark disappear. Nanao is pretty stupid to have stopped and tried to talk to Shinobu, let alone rescuing her when she was clearly the one causing the problem. She has no way of knowing if.Yako’s orders changed, and if he is a necessary warrior, what are they going to do to him?

At least the brother turned out to be a normal, sane guy when he’s not around his mother. Glad he’s not gonna be stuck with crazy girl either.

Haberme enganchado con una historia como esta que esta en emisión es la muerte. Y a la vez me alegra mucho haberla conocido. Al igual que dije en el primer tomo, tenia ciertas similitudes con otro manga/anime (me gustaría saber cual se creó primero) pero a medida que van pasando los tomos, se ve que hay diferencias y me encantó.

Me gusto mucho el desarrollo de la protagonista, que se van conociendo otros personajes y como estos se vinculan y desarrollan una relación con ella. Siento que en los próximos tomos va a tener un rol super importante y que poco a poco está convirtiéndose en alguien más precioso de lo que ya era antes.

Enemigos hay de sobra, pero aliados tambien.

Review to be adjusted once series is complete

Once the fiancée of the Byakurenji family, Nanao is now considered tainted after being attacked by an ayakashi. She is shunned and abused until Yako, head of another family, decides to take her for his bride. Yako's motives are unclear but for Nanao this is a way out.

The art is beautiful and it doesn't shy away from depicting the scars Nanao carries. There is a fair bit of world building. At first it seemed as if the romance may be progressing too quickly for my liking, but it seems more transactional at this point and I imagine actual romance will come later down the line. It's definitely an interesting start and I look forward to where this story is headed.

Shinobu continues to be a challenge, but it seems the rest of her family does not share her opinion, especially after Nanao unexpectedly makes friends with her grandmother. Yako isn't too pleased with her manipulations either, though it seems his brother isn't nearly as bad as he comes across in the previous volume. Now Nanao is in more danger than ever, though this set up could work to her advantage if Yako makes it time given the answer to removing her spirit seal from the doctor's office. Hopefully the next volume will turn the tides back in her favor even more.

Hands down my least favorite volume of this series so far. Why are we spending so much time on Shinobu? She’s not interesting and is obnoxious. Yako was barely in this volume which was a weird choice. Nanao was great as she showed compassion and understanding of Takayas situation and loyalty to his and Yakos mother. She also is continuing to have a powerful voice and is showing she’s no longer going to let people abuse her. The ending cliff hanger was hands down the best part. I am now going to look to see how long I have to wait for volume six. Hopefully Shinobu will go away.

okay this volume was PEAK drama and I absolutely loved it. Shinobu is such a classic villainess and I'm loving Nanao growing stronger, more confident, and more secure in herself/her relationship with Yako because of it. it was so entertaining to see Shinobu's grandmother not only bond with Nanao, but also seriously knock Shinobu down several pegs in front of her 'friends' haha. the ending being that crazy of a cliffhanger.....hope Yako comes and Shinobu gets what's coming to her!!

For me, this series would be more enjoyable if all the female characters weren’t put in competition for this one man’s attention. All of the cattiness is very off-putting and very 2013. Please let female characters have normal relationships with each other~
