A transitional volume, but one in which we still learn a few things – the real reason behind the creation of the Cleaners – where certain characters develop a little – Follo – and where Rudo carries out his first real mission as a Cleaner.

As always, it’s the artwork that really stands out in this series. It’s a mix of wildly distorted street art and the constant exaggeration of expressions and movements that are intense, to say the least. It certainly won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I’m absolutely thrilled by such a burst of energy.

I need to get my hands on the next volume asap...
So. Much. New. Lore. I am going crazy here, I swear. Also I just adore how when new characters get more exposure, I just fall in love with them immediately. Everyone feels like an actual person, has their own original design (which is just absolutely peak every time, the character designs in this manga are so insanely good, I cannot express that enough), has their own personality and motivations. Managing such a wide cast of characters this well is really impressive imo
(I have also officially run out of my Enjin and Tamsy sticky notes...)

peak, binged 80 chapter in one day. it has the potential to be the best new-gen shounen and even more. FINALLY (really) good female characters (but ofc not except from objectification :( still very little fanservice in comparison to other shows) and THANK GOD no racist-cartoony black characters. never loved all of the cast with so little info and backstories (ds & jjk can take notes). IMMACULATE LORE omg!! interesting power system. this manga is a fresh breath of air, subverting many shounen tropes and pleaseee, just look at the DRIP! this is gonna be huge, like big BIG.
