The Masoretic text was changed from the second century on to contradict Christian teaching in such verses as Genesis 6 and Psalm 82.

Every extant work prior to the second century AD shows a supernatural interpretation of Genesis 6. The complete proof, including the historical chronology, the original sources, and the methodical argument that this was a purposeful attempt to alter Scripture in the second century rather than an accident.

Very interesting, well sourced book on a topic I had not heard before. Highly recommend.
