I loved this book and was so sad to see it end- that is how real the characters seemed to me. This author has a gift for dialog, and I think this is why the characters endeared themselves to me. I usually read historical fiction, but this novel, set in New York, was a breath of fresh air for me. I would say it is a story of love, familial relationships, unexpected inheritances and the promise of what can be if we open ourselves to trust. I can’t wait for Ellen’s new book, Must Read Well, coming in September!
