Sweetness flows
I really enjoyed reading these bible stories with a personalised narrative and poetic telling. The author takes what we know about Jesus’ ministry and makes it approachable. I got a lot out of how he coloured and explained Bethany. It gives depth to how we see and understand that place Jesus loved to go to especially. I have always thought what a sweet place that must’ve been. Mary, Martha and Lazarus also take on a fuller life and meaningful story. Walking with Jesus to the cross stirred my heart. This is worthwhile read.
