I always love reading debut authors and getting a look into their mind and the worlds they dream up - Reset by Grace Tutaj explores a captivating concept and isn’t afraid to take risks narratively, and Tutaj does a fantastic job at making those risks have real, lasting consequences. Those lasting consequences make the end of the book feel very satisfying. There’s lots of heart, and my favourite moments are where we get the little internal comments from the characters that seems to transcend the retelling of the story and put us right in their heads - they were very endearing and always made me smile. Tutaj should be very proud of her debut, and I’m excited to see her ability as a writer to continue developing, from how she plots future books to the line level reading! Reset is bingefully readable, with a great hook and heartfelt writing.
