When you know you know ! What’s meant to be will definitely be ! 🥰🥰I really enjoyed this book! The way it was written was perfect ! It gave us the relationship build up and then a little friction! I do love how Major was able to express his feelings and open up to Tumy ! Now him answering her phone took me out lmaooo ….

I enjoyed that you gave us a look into their lives after the cabin as well and that really wrapped the story together for me !!!

Definitely looking into this author’s catalog!

(3.5⭐️) This was a cute forced-proximity, insta-love novella. I really liked Tumy and Major’s energy together, and their chemistry made it easy to root for them. I wanted to pluck them both a few times because they were so afraid to communicate. I was convinced we were headed for a third-act breakup, but thankfully, crisis averted.

There were a few supporting character arcs that felt left open, and I would’ve appreciated a little more closure.

Overall, though, this was a cute, quick read that you can easily finish in one sitting.

I don’t know why it took me so long to finish this book because I really enjoyed it. I liked both Tumy and Major and they complimented each other well. Even Sparrow was cute and Lord knows I do not like cats. I loved how they sat down and actually got to know one another by asking questions and having general conversations, instead of going at each other due to the double booking of the cabin.

I’ll definitely be reading more from this author soon.

Refreshing read

This was such a refreshing read, and I have yet to be disappointed by any B. Love stories. The pure love between the two characters was nice to see. I’m happy that we didn’t have to experience any lingering drama from the ex situationships either.

Major and Tumy!!

Major and Tumy ended up being in a double booked cabin during Valentine's Day weekend. I'm glad that there was no back and forth about what they wanted and ended up exploring the chemistry between them. Tumy wasn't a fan of Valentine's Day, but Major turned that all around with his love. Major and Tumy were cute together, and the story was very enjoyable from beginning to end.

A Reset to remember

It's something about a man that speaks from his chest. Major held nothing back, it was like he had no filter. Tumy was caught off guard because he didn't even know her and still off the wall stuff.

A real turn on for sure.

I loved how they each turned to their bestie when their dilemma was revealed. Both being advice to seize the moment, and that they did. The spicy was there but the vulnerability was what put this over the top for me. They shared from the soul and made love from the heart.

Soleil, did her thing with this one. It was the answering of the phone for me. Daniel was not expecting that with his lying self. Little soul got snatched out his body. It didn't matter because they were locked in and kept up with tradition.

It’s cute, or whatever

Double Booked was a cute, easy read, but this one required me to overlook more than my previous read by this author.

The premise is pure romance-novel convenience: a double-booked cabin, a snowstorm, nowhere else to stay, and two attractive strangers forced to spend Valentine’s weekend together. Sure. Why not?

Major and Tumy had chemistry, and I enjoyed watching them get to know each other while stranded together. Their story begins when Major walks into the cabin, hears someone in the shower, and responds by drawing his weapon, prepared for the worst. Tumy steps out wrapped in a towel and somehow we’re supposed to see this as the moment he realizes she won’t take any nonsense. I was unconvinced.

My bigger issue was that the story introduced potential conflicts and then seemed determined to avoid them. Both Major and Tumy begin the story in unfulfilling situationships, and the author spends time establishing those relationships before bringing the main characters together. I kept waiting for those loose ends to matter, but they were resolved with little discussion and almost no fallout. There were also some practical conversations that never happened, despite both characters having very recent partners.

The romance itself was sweet, and I appreciated that the author didn’t rely on excessive drama. But by the time we got to meeting the family and the epilogue, I wasn’t fully convinced I’d seen enough of their relationship develop to earn those moments.

Overall, I enjoyed the read and liked Major and Tumy together. I just think the story moved from attraction to forever a little too easily and skipped over some of the conversations that would have made the relationship feel more earned.

If you’re in the mood for something short, romantic, and laugh-out-loud funny with just the right amount of spice, *Double Booked* by Soleil is the perfect weekend read.

After discovering her on-again, off-again boyfriend has other plans for Valentine’s Day, Tumy Reed does what any heart-bruised woman might do—she escapes to a quiet mountain cabin for some much-needed alone time. Unfortunately, the cabin has been double-booked. Enter Major Nelson, who planned to spend the weekend hunting, not sharing close quarters with a stranger during a snowstorm. What follows is a delicious mix of tension, banter, and undeniable chemistry.

I loved how quickly the characters developed without the story feeling rushed. Tumy and Major are refreshingly ordinary people with regular lives, which makes their connection feel authentic and relatable. Their first impressions of each other are rocky, but watching their walls slowly come down is both heartwarming and incredibly engaging.

The romance unfolds naturally, evolving from reluctant roommates to something deeper and more meaningful. The forced proximity, the snowy isolation, and the simmering attraction make every interaction feel charged in the best way. By the end, I was fully invested in their journey and rooting for their love to last far beyond just one weekend.

*Double Booked* is a cozy, spicy, feel-good romance that proves sometimes the universe’s unexpected plans turn out better than the ones we make ourselves.

Tumy was in an unfulfilling situationship with Daniel who never satisfied her sexually. For Valentine's weekend she decided to take her cat with her up to a cabin in the mountains for a relaxing weekend. She didn't trust Daniel as far as she could throw him so she wasn't beat about him saying he couldn't spend vday weekend with her.

Major was headed to the cabin he booked to spend the weekend hunting. He had a situationship but made sure she always knew they weren't a couple and would never be anything more. Upon arriving at the cabin, he heard the shower, pulled out his gun and was shocked AF when Tumy came out in nothing but a towel. The two of them argued back and forth about who's cabin it was only to go to the front desk and find out not only had the cabin been double booked, there were no vacancies anywhere in the area because duhhhh vday weekend AND snowstorm was on the way.

After much back and forth, the two of them decided to make the best of an unfortunate situation. Eventually tempers settled and these two found out they had a lot more in common than they initially thought. Of course that led to some spice on top of spice on top of spice. Whewww chile these two went at it!

I'm glad they managed to put their differences aside and continue beyond the weekend. I enjoyed reading this one

Best Trip Ever!

This was a super charming and sweet book about what happens when you stop settling and take a chance on what could be. What are the odds Tumy and Major would meet how they did? 😂😂 Despite the way they met they decided to make the best out of a situation they had to share. I enjoyed the bonding and friendship being made in the time spent together. The way the characters grew and got to know each other’s fears, future plans and all was so sensual and sexy at the same time. Major was very blunt no nonsense but also charming and caring. Tumy was sweet but bored and wanted more. They both were afraid to open up about what was brewing between them but luckily being in such close proximity to someone makes you throw caution to the wind and let love in. Thank GOD for being double booked with no vacancies except for in the heart.

Double booked

This was a good instalove Valentine’s Day story. The connection and chemistry between Major and Tumy could be felt almost immediately. I liked their vibe together and that they seemed to be on the same page. Their love flourished and felt genuine. Being snowed in together forced them to get to know each other and embrace their instant attraction to each other. My only complaint was that there was never any detail given into the discord between Tumy and her brother to explain their lack of a relationship. But all in all, this was a great story that I enjoyed from beginning to end.

SHORT AND SUPER CUTE 🥰

WHO DOESN’T LOVE A GOOD SNOWED IN INSTALOVE STORY🫶🏽

MAJOR & TUMY❤️‍🔥! BOTH NEEDED THE TIME AWAY TO DECOMPRESS. TUMY REALLY THE TIME AWAY TO GET UP THE NERVE TO END THAT DEADWEIGHT OF A SITUATIONSHIP🙄. THEIR FIRST ENCOUNTER WASN’T VERY PLEASANT. AFTER THE INITIAL SHOCK OF FINDING OUT THEY FAVORITE CABIN HAD BEEN DOUBLE BOOKED THAT SEXUAL TENSION WAS AT AN ALL TIME HIGH 😜. I LOVED THAT THEY MADE THE BEST OF THEIR PREDICAMENT BY PLAYING DIFFERENT GAMES AND TAKING THE TIME TO GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER WHILE EXPLORING EACH OTHER. THX FOR THE EPILOGUE IT WAS THE PERFECT ENDING 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Double Booked

Aww, another good read from one of my BLP ladies. As always, Soleil writes beautifully human characters that you know.

Tumi and Major were too cute. I didn't know what to think when he pulled a Rambo on Tumi. But he had my girl f@#$ed up. She slapped his hand away so fast and gave him a side eye from hell. Whew Chile...lmao. Anyway, I'm happy that they both decided to throw caution to the wind and get to know each other better. It was the best weekend of their lives.

getaway goals.

I enjoyed this quick read!

what could have been a vacation nightmare, turned into a dream weekend. I loved Tumy! She was a beautiful, boss-babe, & a cat mama. & Mister Major, he was a charmer, with BDE & a hunting rifle.
I adored them together. Her wit plus his sharp tongue, made their banter top tier.

I’d recommend to the book babes who enjoy:

Good stuff!

Major and Tumy were a treat to read. Imagine a weekend getaway where you just want to be alone only to find yourself stuck with a stranger in a double-booked cabin. Their initial meeting was funny and tense, but the tension eased and the chemistry increased! Whew, this was one hot cabin in the woods during a snowstorm. That man didn't even like cats, but created a bond with the little furball. Unexpected love is always right on time, especially when you're not even looking. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

Loved it!!

Double Booked definitely made me fall in love with Soleil’s writing, I have read a few of her books that were a part of BLP Series but this was my first that wasn’t and I loved every single moment of it!!

Being booked in the same cabin for Valentines weekend could have lead Major and Tumy anywhere but it lead them straight to the one God made just for them. And to see how their relationship develops was simply amazing!

Go ahead and add close quarters romance to your TBR, you will not be disappointed!

Part of me feels like I read this before 😂

So I was surprised it wasn’t saved on here as read but oh well. A quick spicy strangers to lovers read! All the avoiding and pulling back could’ve been avoided if they had hr guts to say where they lived lol but still happy with the outcome and the cute ending.

I really enjoyed this…

I’ve been in a reading slump lately but this quick read by a new to me author brought me out of it. Despite the page count, it felt full and packed a lot. I like that it included a time jump that was several years, giving us a glimpse of into their lives. Well done!

First time reading Soleil. Definitely not my last. Found myself talking to Tumy like she was here. My husband started questioning me just because I started questioning him from the questions in the book.

Unexpected encounters and the right time. Tumy and Major were great for each other even though it got off to rough start. Wished Tumy and her brother would’ve worked things out. Great quick read and will be reading more by this author.

Enjoyable

I enjoyed this short story. It had me smiling from start, feeling frustrated with them in the middle, and back to smiling again by the end. Loved how it all played out.
Well done, Soleil.
