Ian Larssen isn't looking for a hookup; he's at the posh Las Vegas bar to console his friend, the jilted groom, with camaraderie and cognac. But when he locks eyes with a stunning redhead across the swanky lounge, the sharp corporate attorney and perpetual bachelor knows he's in trouble.
As luck would have it, she wants him too.

Fresh from her last toxic relationship, attorney Claire Burns is determined to avoid new ones.
Her past experiences have left her wary of love and resistant to marriage.
Erotic memories of Ian and that unforgettable night linger in her mind, yet she's convinced it's best to leave it all behind in Vegas.
And that's precisely what she does. Until he reappears.
Leigh Iversen wrote her first story at the age of seven after exhaustively reading every Beverly Cleary book she could find. Her journey as an author began with the release of her first published novel, a historical romance that left readers wanting more.
Although she took a break to raise her two wonderful sons, Leigh’s love for writing never waned. Upon her return, she found herself captivated by the allure of sexy contemporary romance heroes who work hard and love harder.
Leigh resides in sunny Florida with her husband, two German Shepherds, and a cat who thinks he is a Rottweiler.
This book delivers exactly what a one-night-stand-gone-wrong-in-the-best-way romance should—and then some. Ian Larssen is polished, controlled, and emotionally guarded, while Claire Burns is sharp, wounded, and fiercely determined not to fall for anyone ever again. Their Vegas encounter crackles with chemistry, the kind that feels inevitable and explosive, and the aftermath—an empty bed and a lipstick goodbye—sets the perfect tone for longing, obsession, and unfinished business.
What really makes this story shine is the emotional follow-through. The tension doesn’t fade once Vegas is over; it deepens. Ian’s need for more clashes beautifully with Claire’s fear of repeating past mistakes, and their push-and-pull feels raw, believable, and addictive. The romance is sexy without being shallow, angsty without being exhausting, and deeply satisfying for readers who love second chances, emotionally unavailable men catching real feelings, and strong heroines who refuse to settle. If you love high-heat chemistry paired with genuine emotional stakes, this one-night stand romance will absolutely stick with you. 💋🔥
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What was supposed to be a one-night stand turned into a story that completely stole my heart. Ian Larssen is the kind of hero I live for—sharp, successful, emotionally steady, and absolutely unprepared for the woman who walks into his life when he least expects it. He’s not even looking for a hookup… and then Claire happens. And wow, does she leave her mark. 💋 That Vegas night? Electric. Intense. Unforgettable. The kind of chemistry that doesn’t just fade when the sun comes up—even if one person walks away. The lipstick kiss on the mirror? ICONIC. Claire Burns is strong, guarded, and beautifully realistic. Fresh out of a toxic relationship, she’s done with love, done with marriage, and convinced that some things are better left as memories. Watching her wrestle with her past while trying to deny what she feels for Ian was emotional and so well done. And Ian? The swoon. The patience. The quiet determination. The way he shows up. This man doesn’t chase loudly—he proves, steadily and confidently, that he’s not going anywhere. 🥹🔥 I loved how this story balanced heat with heart, desire with vulnerability, and how fate kept pulling these two back together no matter how hard they tried to walk away. It’s sexy, emotional, and deeply satisfying. If you love: ✨ One-night stand to more ✨ Vegas romance ✨ Strong FMCs with emotional scars ✨ A hero who knows what he wants ✨ Chemistry that lingers Sin City Secrets is an absolute must-read. I cannot wait to dive deeper into this series. 💖📚
Sin City Secrets is Book Two of the Sin City series by Leigh Iversen. This is a steamy contemporary romance featuring a hot pilot billionaire. Our MMC, Ian Larssen, said hot pilot billionaire, isn’t looking for romance when she walks into the Vegas bar whilst he’s consoling a friend. She is our FMC, attorney Claire Burns, and her name isn’t the only thing burning. When their eyes meet across the bar, sparks fly!
This was a fun romance, and I have to say I had never read a pilot romance novel before. The book delivers instant chemistry, an unavoidable explosion, and then a regrettable aftermath of longing and obsession, complete with Ian waking up alone in an empty bed and a lipstick kiss on the bathroom mirror (chef’s kiss)! There is no way to contact each other after this brilliant, spicy, one-of-a-kind night, which increases Ian’s angst. Claire is terrified of repeating past relationship mistakes, and this is why she leaves it as a clean break. Ian can’t let her go, though, and he searches for her for a full week until he finds her. Whew, this emotionally unavailable man was desperate to get back to her! Claire, however, was hesitant to take any chances on a Playboy billionaire. Reading this push-and-pull between them was believable and addictive. Overall, I gave this book 5 stars because I just couldn’t get enough of their heat mixed with heart, desire, and vulnerability, and fate working its magic! Thank you to @lunalilterary.management and author @leighiversen for the arc copy. All opinions are my own.
Thank you to Leigh Iversen and Luna Literary Management for the opportunity to read this fun story.
Clair Burns is out for a night on the Vegas trip with her best friend. She’s in need of a night of fun and to forget her cheating ex-boyfriend. Luck is on her side when meets Ian Larssen and caves to her impulses for a one night stand. But when Ian wakes the next morning to a cold bed and a lipstick kiss on his mirror, he knows he can’t quit at just one night. After weeks of searching, he finds her! The problem? Clair is not in a place for commitment. Can Ian convince Clair that he has given up his playboy ways and that commitment is not the cruelty she believes it to be?
This story starts with a bang, literally. But the slow burn “will they, won’t they” that followed was was deliciousI instantly fell in love with Ian. His humor and heart had me in a chokehold the whole story. The man loves with his whole heart, but has worries of his own that he has to overcome. You can see that he tries, and he tries so hard to love properly and be who he should be. Clair loves her own, but cannot believe that someone would love her so unabashedly. The back and forth between the two was hilarious and healing. Every girl needs a man like Ian. Someone who will be there not only to be the funny man, but to be your rock, to show you that you are worth every bit of love and hard work.

Claire Burns and Ian Larssen 🤭🔥 What a slow burn romance yet filled with spice, steam and feelings 😏 These two made me tear up so many times with how much they were in love and their yearning!! Thank you so much, Leigh, for the ARC ❤️
Claire Burns 😏 Feisty, independent and sassy, kickass attorney 🔥 Claire had me grinning and smirking with how banterful she is, especially with Ian. She has a lot of childhood trauma and hurt to overcome and work through, and she does 🥹 Her relationship with Ian is so deep and emotional, and full of safety. Beautiful, intelligent, brave, seductive, bold, independent, protective, wild with Ian, gentle, averse to relationships, and has this man on his knees for her 😈
Ian Larssen 🔥 This man gives Adam a run for his money in every department 😏😂 He is such a golden retriever and incredibly obsessed with his woman! He is also averse to relationships, but one night with Claire and he's ready to throw everything out the window because he can't imagine a day without her 🥹 There is so much more to him that we uncover during the book and it is beautiful 🥹 Handsome, rich, intelligent, an attorney and pilot, charming, seductive, obsessed, protective and confident 🫦
The writing is beautiful and gripping! I can't wait for the next book in this series because all of them have me intrigued!! The spice 🧎♀️🧎♀️ Holy!!! had me having to tell myself "both hands on the phone" often 🤭
Spice Level: 🌶🌶🌶 8 nice and spicy scenes with an obsessed billionaire pilot and a hot and feisty redhead he calls ‘Penny’.
I was introduced to Leigh a little over a year ago when I read Sin City Lights, book 1 in this series. I don’t normally read 3rd person POV, but something about the way Leigh writes it just works, and I was hooked. So when she started telling me about book 2 and that it was Claire and Ian’s story, I was like ‘yup, go ahead and just sign me up for that one’. I loved every second of their story. We begin in Vegas, obviously. And Claire and Ian start chatting in the bar, and right away, you know they have pretty insane chemistry. It was supposed to be just a hot one-night stand (and it was hot, folks). Claire has her walls UP, and love just isn’t gonna happen. But try telling that to Ian. This man. Let me tell ya, he knows what he wants and he’s going to go after it with everything he has. A doctor gets a bit in the way, but that’s cool. Ian is patient, and he knows what he and Claire have is worth the wait.
The spice is spicing, and we get a hot scene right out of the gate, which y’all know I go feral for!

✈️ Pilot Romance 💋One-night stand ✈️Hot lawyer is also a pilot 💋Sworn off relationships ✈️Yearning and spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 💋Emotional scars ✈️Friends with benefits 💋She rides a Harley ✈️He falls first and hard 💋Independent heroine ✈️He is obsessed 💋She is reluctant ✈️He cooks 💋 Incredible chemistry ✈️Third person dual POV ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌶️🌶️🌶️ This book starts out with a spicy bang 🥵. Attorney Claire Burns needed a distraction from her reality that included a cheating ex. Enter a hot billionaire pilot, Ian Larssen at the bar and sparks fly between them. The energy was electric. The night was full of passion and everything Ian wanted until he woke up alone the next morning. I loved the angst and obsession Ian feels while searching for his dream girl. The reformed Playboy was taken down by a woman who's been hurt before and was scared to try again. The push and pull between them while trying to find a way over their fears and past hurts was an addictive ride. The spice was great and balanced well with the emotional parts of the story. If you love strong FMCs who struggle with being vulnerable, playboys who fall first and hard and hot spice, then you will love this read.
I love how this entire story was so well balanced, between desire and vulnerability, heat and heart…. The tension never fades, it becomes more and more and at the same time the emotional tension follow-through is present at all times. Ian‘s desire of wanting more comes together well with Claire‘s fear of repeating past mistakes of relationships that went south. Fate kept pulling the two back together over and over, to the point it opened their eyes and they couldn’t ignore it anymore. A well written romance with strong chemistry, vulnerability, feelings and emotions ✨🩷 ________________________________________________________________________________________

What was supposed to be a one night stand ends up as a *he falls first* which leads to him chasing her down while she’s visiting her mom. A love triangle, emotional trauma, and personal growth ensues making this a swoon worthy kicking my feet while grinning kind of contemporary romance read with a side of spice.
Ian Larsen is a dreamy MMC. He’s smart, successful, has a wonderful family, witty, and hot. He’s had his heart broken before and isn’t planning on finding anything serious until Claire Burns walks in. A fiery and successful red head who is fresh off a disastrous breakup and carries a lot of emotional baggage from her childhood and time being a divorce attorney. Ian and Claire’s connection felt primal, authentic, and natural which led me to easily root for them. My biggest hang up was the love triangle with Jake. I adore a love triangle moment, however Claire and Jake had no chemistry, and it felt forced while dragging on. I understand it added to the plot of Claire being a people pleaser but I could have done without Jake.
Wow. Attorney, pilot and a ladies man? But, selfless, kindhearted and likes to cook. I’m not typically one for blondes. 😅 The author does a great job making him sound irresistible both in body and mind. Redheads though? Love them!
This was hard to read in some places (not the writing, just the emotional undertones in the plot). Claire’s mom had cancer and I can understand first hand how worried one could be able losing their mom and being a little overbearing. However mom is fun and constantly pushing her to find love and go out and do something sexy. Which she does, just not with the guy she thought her daughter was having fun with. Clare and Ian start off thinking everything is a-okay and just physical. But it never really was just physical, not from day one.
The spice was phenomenal and well paced throughout the story with good emotional care provided from Ian to Claire. He definitely fell first, and while it took her a minute to let go, she fell hard too!
This one was an absolute treat from start to finish. Ian, a successful, and swoon worthy pilot with a witty edge, is everything you want in a book boyfriend. Claire carries emotional baggage from both her past relationships and her childhood, making her journey toward love feel authentic and earned. Their chemistry is electric, and the slow burn tension throughout had me devouring the pages. I loved seeing Ian chase Claire while she’s back in her hometown, their connection deepening with every interaction. My only real hang up was the love triangle with Jake. While I usually adore a bit of tension, there was zero chemistry between Claire and Jake, which made that subplot feel unnecessary and slightly dragged out. This book is fun, and swoony. Thank you so much to the author for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving an honest review.
Sin City Secrets is the second story in the Sin City series. It is a slow burn romance story with amazing characters.
Ian is a pilot who is in Vegas for his friend. He is not looking for a relationship and is a playboy. Claire is an attorney who is surprised to find her boyfriend has cheated on her. She decides to go to Vegas so see a friend. When he sees her in a bar there is an instant connection. They decided to spend a night together. Claire has her walls up and doesn't want another relationship. She wants it to be for one night. Ian is not satisfied with one night and wants more from her.
I loved how strong Claire was even though she had been through so much in her life. I can understand why she was so guarded against Ian. I loved how determined he was with her. I loved the chemistry between them and how they were so good for each other. I look forward to the next story.
Thank you to the author for an advanced copy for an honest review.
Wow, talk about man obsessed! In an instant, from one glance across the bar, Ian Larssen just knew! Instant spark and chemistry with one woman who was going to change his playboy ways and change his life. Claire Burns meets Ian in a bar in Vegas fresh from a breakup, she’s not only that, she’s a divorce lawyer so is even more skeptical about love and relationships. Wrong time but right person, but no matter, Ian put in the perseverance work, and for a while they drifted to being friends while he patiently waited for her to catch up on those feelings. Dual POV and mostly centers around Claire’s trauma, dealing with her mum, her feeling for her father and then her feelings for Ian. Loved seeing them get their HEA, there was just so much love there.
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own
Sin City Secrets delivers exactly what it promises: heat, chemistry, and a one-night-stand that refuses to stay in the past. The spice is HOT, but what really worked for me was how well the story balanced desire with emotional depth. Fate keeps pulling Ian and Claire back together, and I was fully along for the ride.
Ian is top-tier book boyfriend material. A reformed playboy who knows when to step up and be steady. Claire has been through it, and I loved how Ian became her calm in the storm. Their connection felt natural, intense, and earned.
My only hang-up was the love-triangle element. Claire had zero chemistry with Jake, so that thread felt unnecessary and dragged things out a bit. Still, this was a sexy, emotional, and satisfying romance that hits hard on both heat and heart. 💋🎰
My Thoughts: I devoured this book. Ian is the perfect book boyfriend. Not only is he sweet, protective, and swoony, but he's also selfless, can cook, and bake. He puts so much thought into everything he does, even if it could cause an allergic reaction, haha. IYKYK. He would do anything for Claire, and that plot twist made me so emotional. We all need an Ian in our world. I resonated with Claire's character so much. I understood why she tried to fight her attraction to him, and in the end, Ian won her heart. I also enjoyed the Larssen family snippets and seeing Adam and Eve again. This book has spice, twists, and all the perfect romance feels. I highly recommend this book.
Absolutely loved the second book in this pilot romance series! 😍
Ian was a perfect book boyfriend. We love a reformed playboy type. Claire went through so much in this one and Ian was her perfect calm in the storm. I wasn’t crazy about the love triangle type situation. It was clear she has zero chemistry with Jake so why did she waste so much of her time!? Just bc he wasn’t a lawyer? Just bc it’s what her mom wanted? She should’ve known her mom just wanted her to be happy!
There is spice beginning to end in the book and it was HOT 🥵 😮💨
Still love this series and the writing. Highly recommend!
What started out as a one night stand turned into soo much more. Ian and Claire’s chemistry from the beginning was intense. I absolutely devoured this book in 1 day. Ian, is a hot pilot/attorney and Claire is a divorce attorney who was jilted multiple times by love.
I loved how Ian never gave up on Claire and kept trying to win her over. He was there to help her deal with her mom’s cancer even though she kept pushing him away.
Ian is the perfect book boyfriend. Who doesn’t love a man who can cook? Thank you Leigh Iversen and Luna Literary Management for the ARC. All thoughts are my own.
Sin City Secrets delivers a romance full of chemistry, emotional tension, and characters who feel wonderfully complex. Leigh Iversen balances independence and vulnerability in a way that makes the relationship feel both passionate and meaningful. The push and pull between guarded hearts and undeniable attraction keeps the story engaging from beginning to end. If you enjoy romances where two strong personalities slowly realize they belong together, this one is a great pick.
Tropes: • One night stand • Friends with benefits • Reluctant heroine • Obsessed hero • Independent FMC • Dual POV
I am whole heartedly in love with Ian Larssen! This man is strong and steady and is down bad for Claire! The way he fights for her makes my heart so happy! Claire is so strong and independent and wants no part of a relationship. Jokes on you my girl because Ian isn’t letting you go! These two had instant chemistry! Let me tell ya! My girl Leigh can write a spicy scene and she really gives it to us. This book had me laughing and getting a little teary eyed too! Do yourself a favor and snag this one!
I really wanted to love this book. I liked the characters of Ian and Claire. I liked them together.
Unfortunately, there was also soooo much going on in this book. There was maybe a love triangle of sorts and I hated the other guy which I guess you were supposed to. But, there was too much of him in the book. And then there was a lot of goings on with many different groups of friends and family. So many people. So many situations. It was just a lot of things in one book.
I liked when Ian and Claire were together. When he was wooing her. When they were allowed to be happy. There was just a lot of other “stuff” that I thought weighed the book down.

Ian & Clair were def a slooooooow burn that was worth the wait! Thank you Luna Literary for the ARC! ❤️✨
Ian and Claire were so great together from the start. So much chemistry but I didn’t blame her for not trusting it and him considering what happens better parents and in her other relationships. Ian though secretly being the one to donate to her mom had me blown away. Both characters turned out to be so much deeper than I thought and they still grew and more importantly they got things right with each other.

I loved Claire and Ian together. They were HOT! After finding her boyfriend cheating on her Claire flies out to Las Vegas to visit a friend. There she runs into Ian and they agree to a “it stays in Vegas” one night stand. Except Ian is captivated by Claire and wants more. Claire has a negative view of relationships and Ian has to work very hard to win Claire’s hand.
The connection made between the main characters was instant. Their chemistry was good but then it took the whole book for them to work out their issues. Has some really good steamy scenes.
Billionaire confidence, hot chemistry, and the right amount of emotional depth. I enjoyed seeing Ian fall hard and show his softer side. Claire is strong, guarded, and impossible not to cheer for.
It was a nice little pallete cleanser. Not a typical billionaire romance but fun nonetheless. Our main characters were both broken and there was a lot of miscommunication but they found their way in the end. Thank you Luna Literary Agency for the ARC
