I think I liked it? I read it in such small spurts that I don’t really remember much having an impact on me and also I fear I’m in a reading slump so reading anythingggg is a bit of a chore rn unfortunately. Pumped for the third book, but this book could’ve been like 100 pages shorter honestly. The spice to plot ratio was so different in this book compared to the first book and it was a bit jarring. Dom still pisses me off cause like that’s you groveling? You’re desperate for them to forgive you and you’re acting like that? Be so fr right now. Anyways, still had a fun time I just think I would’ve had a more fun time if some things were cut.

All I feel right now is that Dom is my favorite with Leo at a close second. Can’t believe I spent half this book being pissed off at Spencer and Keira. I just need the next book so I can love them all equally again. Spice was spicing and literally layered through the whole book, felt like there was spice every other chapter and unfortunately I wasn’t on board with that this time since I wanted more plot line. Normally I don’t mind constant smut, but sadly my mood wasn’t in it. And that’s not a reflection on the author, my mood just messed with how this book was paced. But from past experience with Kylie Cross, I know the third book will be my undoing because it’ll have the perfect balance of what I crave and I can’t wait.

I was incredibly thrilled to receive an ARC for this book, I recently discovered Kylie Cross at the end of last year and quickly fell into their world of Valemont, secret societies, and vigilante justice.

Road to Ruin is book one in this trilogy and left off with the FMC, Kiera, feeling conflicted about who she should trust and deeply unsure of her sexuality. She had ultimately seemed to decide running would be her best option, choosing neither foe she faced.

Road to Revenge picked right up where we left off and Kiera quickly decided the enemy you know is not always safer than the enemy you don't. This may be THE most equally hot and plot heavy book I have read. The balance between the two was honestly perfect. At no point, did I walk away from reading this book and think there was something missing. It hit every single mark, right on the head.

I loved the development of a strong relationship between Kiera, Spencer and Leo. Seeing Leo just be herself and let Kiera see all of her jagged pieces was one of my favorite parts. Spencer and Kiera's relationship definitely solidified more, their dynamic is so adorable. Dom messed up, BIG TIME and when Kiera demanded she apologize I almost got down on my knees to do the same! Fiery Kiera and unhinged Dom may be my favorite pairing. They are passionate, explosive and just completely chaotic when they inevitably come together (pun intended 😉). Who doesn't appreciate an Oscar worthy grovel?

The Oracle continues to be a complete pain in the rear throughout this book, but this time we get a much closer look at the inner workings of their operation...and, unsurprisingly it's sus as all get out.

We end on a cliffhanger, and are left with SO many questions and I am incredibly excited to see where the Road to Redemption leads us. In a world where a secret society dictates how you stop heinous crimes, what do you do when you've been led to believe a lie that somebody carried to their grave?

Thank you Kylie for giving me the opportunity to arc read this fantastic book. Much like the others, this book had me SAT. I mean I could not put it down!! Just when things slowed down another twist hit and I felt like I could not catch my breath (in the best way possible). My highlights are as follows:

Kiera admitting she was not straight was everything to me, I think saying the words out loud sometimes is important when you've spent your life the she way she had. I really loved how she dealt with her trauma, she took that shit on the chin and kept moving. It was incredibly impactful for how the story progressed because it allowed her to come into herself and fully commit to the group.

Dom's POV and confessions gave me a ton of clarity on her character and why she acts the way that she does. Realizing that everything she did was ultimately to protect the others made me gain a ton of respect for her. Her development with Kiera felt genuine and emotional, but the fact that she continued to act like an ass, makes me believe that she needs to be begging on her knees for forgiveness over and over again. One sentence:

CHAPTER 81 CHANGED MY LIFE.

Leo absolutely stole the show for me!! Her character is caring, thoughtful, ridiculously attractive, and every 1v1 scene with her and Kiera had me obsessed e. I'd be interested in seeing how her parent's "potential" involvement will change things for her story. We definitely need more answers there.

Spencer's storyline also hit hard; seeing her more vulnerable and serious while dealing with heartbreak made me love her even more. Her dynamic with Leo was easily one of my favorite parts of the book. ESPECIALLY when they were in that pool together. My god I've never been more jealous of a character in a book than I was of Kiera in that moment!!

The details in this book were so well done that I will be having the most vivid dreams imaginable for weeks. I loved that they got adopted Lady. Our girls have inspired me to try and catch the stray cat that lives in my neighborhood.

Overall this book was fantastic and the ending??? I MEAN COME ON!! I'm usually good at catching the twist at the end but boy was I incredibly wrong this time. I can't help but give my girl her roses. She has written yet another outstanding book and I'm beyond grateful that she trusted me to arc read this. Congratulations on another success my queen❤️‍🔥

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this one… and I was not prepared for it.

Road to Revenge is dark, addictive, and way more emotional than I expected going in. It builds beautifully on Road to Ruin, raising the stakes across the board. Secrets unravel, relationships are pushed to their limits, and somehow every answer just leads to more questions.

Kiera… I have such a soft spot for her. She’s still trapped in a situation she’s trying to escape, still dealing with the weight of everything chasing her, but we start to see that spark come back. The defiance, the strength, the little moments of bite that remind you she’s not broken. Watching that slowly return was one of my favourite parts.

Spencer remains the comfort character. Still soft, still grounding, still exactly what this story needs in between all the chaos.

And Leo… wow. Dr Leo really said “no more holding back” in this one. The energy completely shifts around her, and I genuinely needed a moment to recover at times.

Dom surprised me the most. I’m still not entirely sure where I land with her, which honestly makes her more interesting. She’s chaotic, sharp, and unpredictable, but there’s clearly more going on under the surface. That protectiveness mixed with her attitude? I’m intrigued.

The dynamic between all of them is intense, messy, and completely consuming. It leans fully into that “they’re all a little unhinged but somehow it works” energy, and I was absolutely here for it.

The tension, the chemistry, the power dynamics… all of it is turned up. This is definitely not a soft romance, but there are emotional layers woven through it that make it hit harder than you expect.

And that ending?? Brutal. In the best way. It sets things up perfectly for what’s coming next and left me immediately needing book three.

If you like your romance dark, chaotic, and full of morally grey women who would absolutely burn the world down for each other, this series is a must.

ARC REVIEW
Quadruple 1st Person POV. 5🌟 5🌶️. 505 pages
12 Spicy Scenes

Much like Road to Ruin, Road to Revenge is deliciously dark, devastatingly addictive and deceptively emotional! And once again Kylie Cross ate and left no crumbs with their depraved world of hot masc murderous bikers!

Kiera is still on the run from her abusive ex boyfriend and remains locked in her gilded cage, even after her initiation into VV her masc captives still continue to keep secrets, but when these secrets start to unravel will Kiera like the answers? Will she continue to trust and fall for her hunky lovers? And will Dom ever not be an asshole?

Road to Ruin was the perfect opener and Road to Revenge is even better. Spencer is still like a puppy, Dr. Leo finally lets the beast loose and Dom, well Dom is still an asshole but I found myself feeling sorry for her around the half way point and honestly wanting to give her a hug. RtR answers some of the questions we were left with, but leaves us with more by the end. This book had me kicking my feet, it had me screaming internally at my kindle, while simultaneously having to use it to fan myself! And that cliffhanger was brutal, I cannot wait for book 3!

If you like your women murderous, muscular and on motorbikes then I’d highly recommend reading this series. Road to Revenge is out tomorrow, add it to your TBR right this second!

Thank you to the author for providing a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Returning to the world of Kiera and her biker mascs was such a fun experience! From the opening scene the book pulls you right back into the gritty atmosphere of Valemont and the dangerous work the group is doing. I especially loved how quickly the stakes are established with Kiera’s initiation which immediately reminds you that this series is not afraid to go dark while still centering justice and loyalty.

This book does a great job with revealing big secrets that cause tension amongst our favorite bikers Leo, Spencer, and Dom. As the Oracle continues working to dismantle the trafficking ring within Zeus, the emotional stakes within the group grow higher and the trust between them is constantly tested. The conflict that emerges between characters felt raw and believable and it added another layer of depth to the story.

The book ends with an intriguing twist that sets up the future of the series and left me wanting more immediately. The mystery surrounding Kiera’s inheritance and the shares left behind her father adds a fascinating thread that I cannot wait to see unfold. I also loved the introduction of Lady the shelter Rottweiler who instantly stole the spotlight. Overall this installment deepens the relationships amongst our core four, raises the stakes, and left me very excited to see where the story goes next.

I received an ARC from the author, and wow… I am unwell in the best way. We dive straight back into the chaos right where book one left off, and honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. Road to Revenge delivers everything I wanted from a sequel and then some.
This is a dark, sapphic, why choose f/f/f/f centered around the Valemont Violence motorcycle club, and the dynamic between these women just keeps getting better. Kylie Cross truly knows how to write tension and heat and those spicy scenes do NOT disappoint. At no point was I left wanting… okay, maybe a little, but only because I’m greedy for more masc, drool-worthy chaos.
What really stood out here were the answers we finally get. They felt earned and satisfying, but somehow the ending still left me with even more questions than before, in the best, most painful way.
If you’re into murderous muscle mommies, intense loyalty, and messy, addictive relationships, this series is absolutely for you.
I will be foaming, frothing, and fully unwell waiting for more of Spenser, Leo, and Dom in the next book.

I read a lot of books. I’m already at 86 this year, so it takes quite a bit for something to actually pull me in like this did.
I got an early copy thinking I’d pace myself.
Yeah… no. I flew through it.
This book just grabs you and doesn’t really let up. The tension is there from the start, and every time you think you understand what’s going on, something shifts just enough to keep you hooked. I kept telling myself “just one more chapter” and then suddenly I was done.

The characters are messy in the best way. Morally gray, complicated, and not easy to predict, which made everything feel more intense. And the dynamic between them? It keeps you invested the entire time.
If you’ve read the Killer Queens series, you’ll appreciate how this connects without feeling forced. It adds to the world instead of just borrowing from it.

Now I’m just stuck waiting for the next book, which feels a little unfair after that ending.
If you’re into darker reads, tension, and a lot of spice, you’ll probably eat this up like I did.

can I rate this more than 5 stars?

I received this as an arc in exchange for an honest review.

I have been a fan of Kylie Cross since I found their Killer Queens trilogy last year (which you should also read if you haven’t) and I am obsessed with them. I could not stop reading Road to Revenge. Everything about this book was perfection. Kylie Cross has a way of bringing their stories to life.

From the first chapter you are pulled back in to the world of Valemont Violence where Dr. Leo, Spencer, Kiera and Dom dish out Justice. It’s dark, gritty, and absolutely filthy in the best way possible.

If you love hot motorcycle mascs, secrets unraveling, danger, a bratty femme wrapped up in the hottest spice then you won’t be disappointed when you read Road to Revenge. But be prepared for the most brutal cliffhanger in existence!

couldn’t put it down (ARC REVIEW)

I have been a fan of this author since the killer queens trilogy. The way they rolled over the little world they created into this spin off is great. Gives you a taste of what happens to some of them after the sorority.

The story line for this series is just as spicy and full of surprises.
The tension between Dom and Keira?? Yes please, can’t wait for the third book and see where it goes.
Leo and Spencer are great. The way they are written and not your typical masc trope I appreciate. They are both kind and sweet in their own way but also bring the touch her and die type of energy.

Wow…. What can I even say….? This book had me by a damn 5 finger necklace the entire time! A groveling Dom? I honestly have no idea how Kiera was able to walk away!

The growing relationship between Spencer, Leo, Dom and Kiera has been pulling at my heart strings since the first book. Watching them grow and learn each other has been an amazing ride.

If you were expecting SPICE in this book, it did NOT disappoint. Having read all of Kylie’s books, I think the scenes in this one are by far my favorite across the shelf. The emotions, the details and the down right nastiness will have anyone squirming in their seat!

Men hating, masc biker lesbians should be enough for you to pick this book up regardless…

I was hooked from Spencer’s character reveal on the cover of book one, I was absolutely feral for Leo on the cover of book 2… so much so I signed up and received an arc copy. Which had me screaming inside.

The plot is plotting, the smut is smutting. This one’s alot easier to follow than an entire sorority house having access to one girl…..

I really loved the character arc of dom, I think she was my favourite. I can’t wait for book 3.

AHHHH THE CLIFF HANGER??? helpppp i need the next book asap 😭😭

but i absolutely lovedddd this book; i purposely drew out my reading of it so i wouldn’t have to leave Valemont just yet🥹

Kyle Cross has such a wonderful way of writing that keeps you so invested it’s seems impossible to stop reading. the emotional growth of Dom in the book had so much depth and really made me so emotional for her. Ugh all of the characters are just so perfect and i love them all dearly. I can’t wait to see what happens in book 3!!😭

I can’t say enough good things. I need it to be July already because this series is everything I’ve been looking for. Finding queer stories that bring in the masc and enby representation is hard. Especially ones that aren’t full of stereotypes. I so wish there were audiobooks because I’d love to hear Dom, Spencer, and Leo (swoon) through my speakers.
I’m usually a digital kween but these will definitely be purchased in physical form.

All I ask is for another proofread for all the books, as there’s a decent amount of spelling and grammatical errors.

No Spoiler Review

I want to preface this review by saying I hate reading unfinished series… and yet, I’ve picked up every single book by these authors on release day without hesitation.

This was such a good continuation of the first book. The plot twist… twisting. I was not prepared. And the spice… spicing.

At this point, I’m fully invested (despite my better judgment), and I already know I’ll be back for the next book the moment it drops.

I got to read this as an ARC and this is my honest review. The spice was off the charts, I lost track of how many spicy scenes there were! I loved seeing all the characters' chemistry with eachother deepen. I hate the way Dom acts, but at the same time I felt bad for how everyone treated her. So conflicted. We finally got answers to a lot of questions in this book, but the twist at the very end I did NOT see coming. Can't wait for book 3!

I didn’t think anything would top my love for her last series. I’m hooked! If you read book 1 in this series buckle in for this one. I received the ARC and I dove in.

These 3 masc protectors are spicier than ever this book.
You get action, you get suspense, you get spice on spice on spice

I wish I could read this again for the first time already.

I’ll be impatiently waiting for book 3 with everyone else.

Brilliant story, fascinating and intriguing and now I have to wait till July for the final last book! Kylie knows how to write a tense, sexy thriller.
