Tecnofeudalismo: El sigiloso sucesor del capitalismo / Technofeudalism: What Killed Capitalism
El capitalismo ha muerto y el sistema que lo reemplaza no es mejor.
Las dinámicas tradicionales del capitalismo ya no gobiernan la economía. Lo ha matado el propio capital y los cambios tecnológicos acelerados de las últimas dos décadas.

Capitalism is dead—and the system replacing it is no better.
The traditional dynamics of capitalism no longer govern the economy. It has been killed by capital itself and by the rapid technological changes of the last two decades.
This is the main conclusion reached by renowned economist Yanis Varoufakis. The two pillars on which capitalism rested have been markets, by digital platforms that function as true fiefdoms of the big tech; and profit, by pure rent extraction.
Varoufakis has developed his theory of “techno-feudalism”, according to which the new feudal lords are the owners of what he calls “cloud capital”, and the rest of us have once again become serfs, as in the Middle Ages.
Drawing on examples ranging from Greek mythology and Mad Men to cryptocurrencies and video games, this book offers invaluable analysis for understanding today’s confusing socioeconomic reality. A former academic, he has been Secretary-General of the Democracy in Europe Movement 2025 (DiEM25), a left-wing pan-European political party he co-founded in 2016. A former member of Syriza, he served as Minister of Finance from January to July 2015 under Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

Aunque se vuelve repetitivo, tiene varios puntos importantes que se pueden destacar de este autor, pero a veces se va para la economía que para el problema del tecno feudalismo, aparte de que le encanta seguir la dicotomía izquierda -derecha, cosa que ya actualmente viene en declive, le faltó exponer el problema cultural de la tecnología y del medio ambiente, cosas que estos autores tienden a olvidar por sus puntos antropocentristas.
